We introduce a one-step implicit iterative method for two finite families of asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in a hyperbolic space and use it to approximate common fixed points of these families. Abstract In this paper, we introduce an iterative algorithm to approximate a common solution of a generalized equilibrium problem and a fixed point problem for an asymptotically nonexpansive mapping in a real Hilbert space.
