An interview with Special Libraries Association (SLA) member, Sarah Shujah is presented. When asked about what inspired her to write her paper on Library Hackfest she said that the topic would help in computer science, engineering librarians, and integration of information literacy. Shujah spoke about her interest in libraries from childhood and how she realized her long term goal of becoming a librarian. She discussed about her plans for 2015 and her interests in information literacy.

An interview with Melanie Browne, manager of information services at Maple Leaf Foods in Toronto, Canada, is presented. When asked about her decision to write a contributed paper on "Communicating Value through Strategic Alignment," she states that libraries are facing a challenge due to questioning the need for information professionals. It is her opinion that it is important for the Special Libraries Association (SLA) to publish peer-reviewd journals as it would bring respect for librarians.
