Abstract
The article reports on a research paper from the University of California (UC) in Berkeley which claims that the health of workers are still at risk due to lead exposure despite progress of eliminating the problem. The authors of the paper indicate that there are nearly 3,000 workers in the state were reported to have blood lead levels between 5 and 39 times that of the average adult. According to the paper, exposure to low levels of lead are associated with chronic health effects.
