A curious feature of the book, and indeed many books on thermodynamics written by physicists or chemists, is that there is no mention of the concept of "exergy". Abstract

The technique of single crystal X-ray structure determination has never been more important to practicing synthetic chemists and structural scientists. Point groups and space groups are handled in Chapter 7 which includes a focused example on the commonly encountered space group P2 SB 1 sb /c. Chapter 8 describes how crystal symmetry affects the symmetry of the diffraction data and how this can be used for space group determination.
