The present study is aimed toward examining the attention received by research papers through social and electronic media in business research. In recent years, altmetrics has emerged as a complementary measure of the impact of research works besides citation analysis and bibliometrics. Using the altmetric attention score (AAS) the paper is the first research of its kind to shed light on the characteristics of 100 papers receiving the highest online attention. Various predictors of online engagement with articles in business research journals having an impact factor greater than 6 are discussed. Data was collected from the Dimensions.ai database and analyzed using R statistical software. It is found that the Journal of Business Ethics contributed maximum papers with the highest AAS followed by the Journal of Business Research. Using the Kruskal-Wallis rank-sum test it was determined that AAS in business research is dependent upon article type, topics, and journal of publication. This study aims to examine the influence of social networking sites on scholarly papers published in Library and Information Science journals. Top 100 articles published in two renowned journals International Journal of Information Management and the Journal of Medical Library Association, that received high Altmetric Attention Score (AAS) have been taken for the study. The analysis found that LIS research is most often mentioned on Twitter, followed by news outlets and blogs. Student groups and librarians are among the most frequent readers of the publications. The Pearson correlation coefficient test revealed a very high and significant positive correlation between Scopus citation and Dimensions. ai citation, Mendeley readership and Scopus citation. The main problem for the expansion of the use of microfluidic paper-based analytical devices and, thus, their mass production is their inherent lack of fluid flow control due to its uncontrolled fabrication protocols. To address this issue, the first step is the generation of uniform and reliable microfluidic channels. The most common paper microfluidic fabrication method is wax printing, which consists of two parts, printing and heating, where heating is a critical step for the fabrication of reproducible device dimensions. In order to bring paper-based devices to success, it is essential to optimize the fabrication process in order to always get a reproducible device. Therefore, the optimization of the heating process and the analysis of the parameters that could affect the final dimensions of the device, such as its shape, the width of the wax barrier and the internal area of the device, were performed. This article points out some of the shortcomings of a paper by Ceballos et al. In particular, representations of the indecomposable six‐dimensional complex nilpotent Lie algebras are corrected. In addition, the class of representations is extended so as to include all the indecomposable six‐dimensional real nilpotent Lie algebras. A test case is studied in detail in which it is shown that there is no representation of one of the six‐dimensional real nilpotent Lie algebras using 5 × 5 matrices. This test case points up some of the severe difficulties that one will encounter when implementing an algorithm such as the one developed by Ceballos et al. Background: Exposure to environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) is arguably the most ubiquitous and hazardous, even at very low levels, starting in early life. The objective of this study was to describe the state of research and future trends on ETS exposure and Children's Health (CH) topics with bibliometrics and altmetrics. Methods: An electronic search was performed in Scopus database on January 31, 2023. Consensus was arrived on 100 most-cited articles by two reviewers. These papers were then cross matched with citations harvested from Web of Science (WoS) and Google Scholar. Altmetric Attention Score (AAS) and Dimension counts were also collected. Analysis and network visualization of authors, countries, and keywords were generated using VOSviewer software. Results: Among a total of 1107 articles published on ETS and CH, the 100 top-cited articles appeared in 54 journals, with Pediatrics (n = 12) contributing a maximum number of articles. The time period between 2000 and 2009 accounted for 44% of all publications. With respect to the research design employed across these studies, cross-sectional design took precedence over others accounting for approximately 40%. Predominantly, articles focused on childhood asthma; however, current research trends have shifted towards emerging fields such as children's oral health and DNA methylation. Twitter, policy documents, and news outlets were the main platforms where outputs were discussed. The AAS was not associated with journal impact factor or access type. Weak correlations were observed between AAS and citation count in Scopus, WoS, and Google Scholar (r = 0.17 to 0.27) while a positive association existed between dimension count and the number of citations across all three databases (r = 0.84 to 0.98). Conclusion: This study demonstrates the evolution, digital dissemination and research hotspots in the field of ETS and CH, predicting the possible future research directions. This paper seeks to examine the questions of what criteria definitions of Artificial Intelligence (AI) use to define AI, what the disagreements that revolve around the term AI are based on, and what correlations can be drawn to other parameters. Framed as a problem of classification, a random sample of 45 definitions from various text sources was subjected to a qualitative content analysis. The criteria found are concluded in five dimensions, namely (1) learning ability, (2) human likeness, (3) state of "mind", (4) complexity of the problem, and (5) successfulness. Further, the results support the view that there is no consensus neither on which of these criteria are crucial to define AI nor on how these criteria must be fulfilled. By opposing the frequencies of the dimensions found with the metadata collected, it can be seen that most of these, e.g., country, scientific field, or gender of the author, are statistically independent of content variables, while the medium in which the definition was published shows a strong correlation. Since different mediums target different purposes and different readers, it must be taken into account that writing a definition of AI is to be seen in the context of its distribution area and its goal. Purpose: The aim of the article is to demonstrate the employer brand personality scale (previously validated under Polish conditions) and to estimate (using this scale) whether the employer brand personalities can be considered expressive. Design/methodology/approach: The literature review and survey were used. Research was carried out among 576 people. The paper fits into the topic of employer brand personality that has been investigated for years. Findings: It was established that the Polish-language employer brand personality scale is a twodimensional construct. Using a validated employer brand personality scale, it was also learnt that although employers can be 8rather9 characterised as solid, it is difficult to determine whether they are stylish. Therefore, the study showed that the employer brand personalities (of the organisations represented by the respondents) are difficult to categorise as strong or expressive. Research limitations/implications: The study does not meet the condition of statistical representativeness. Limitations are also related to the research technique and measurement scales used. Future research may focus on the relationship between employer brand and human personality. The impact of employer brand personality on employee loyalty is also worth analysing. Practical implications: The developed employer brand personality construct (in Polish) can be used in practice. We encourage employers to measure employer brand personality. This is important because the strong employer brand personality can help the organisation to become an employer of choice, that is, an employer that has no problems with attracting and retaining talented employees. Originality/value: Research conducted is pioneering in Poland. Until now, no work has been done in Poland to design and validate the employer brand personality scale; no one identified the employer brand personality on the basis of a previously validated (culturally adapted) scale either. Purpose: This paper aims to assess the factors that may explain the International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) convergence, considering Hofstede's cultural dimensions as the theoretical reference for the cultural approach proposed. Additional factors include countries' contextual and macroeconomic characteristics. Design/methodology/approach: Logistic and probit regression models were used to identify the factors that may explain the IPSAS (fully or adapted) use by countries, including 166 countries in this assessment (59 for those whose cultural dimensions are available). Findings: The findings consistently indicate collectivism and indebtedness levels as explanatory factors, providing insights into cultural dimensions along with macroeconomic characteristics as a relevant factor of countries' convergence to IPSAS. Research limitations/implications: There are different levels of IPSAS convergence by countries that were not considered. This aspect may hide different countries' characteristics that may explain those options, which could not be distinguished in this paper. Practical implications: As a result of this paper, the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board may gain insights that can be applied within the IPSAS due process to overcome the main challenges when collaborating with national authorities to achieve a high level of convergence. This analysis may include how to accommodate countries' cultural differences as well as their contextual and macroeconomic characteristics. Social implications: There is a trend of moving toward accrual-based accounting standards by countries. Because the public sector embraces a new culture following the IPSAS path, it is relevant to assess if there are cultural factors, besides contextual and macroeconomic characteristics, that may explain the countries' convergence to those standards. Originality/value: To the best of the authors' knowledge, this is the first cross-country analysis on the likely influence of cultural dimensions on IPSAS convergence as far as the authors' knowledge. En el presente trabajo se hará una revisión de la tecnología y prácticas utilizadas en la elaboración del papel como pretexto para abordar las dimensiones y formatos que ha ido adquiriendo este soporte a través de los años. Se tratan los métodos de elaboración de pliegos que recurren a fibras provenientes de fragmentos de corteza y tiras batidas a mano, para buscar relaciones entre la cultura del papiro y la del amate. También se abordan las características que el recurso del bastidor otorgó a las prácticas papeleras y la manera en que su tránsito hacia occidente condicionó la formación de distintos tamaños de hojas. Finalmente se aborda el paso hacia la industrialización del papel y los sistemas de impresión para intentar explicar su relación con la estandarización de los formatos actuales que imperan en los distintos mercados papeleros.

Smart agriculture relies on accurate yield maps as a crucial tool for decision-making. Many yield maps, however, suffer from spatial errors that can compromise the quality of their data, while several approaches have been proposed to address some of these errors, detecting voids or holes in the maps remains challenging. Additionally, the quality of yield datasets is typically evaluated based on root mean squared errors after interpolation. This evaluation method relies on weighbridge data, which can occasionally be inaccurate, impacting the quality of decisions made using the datasets. This paper introduces a novel algorithm designed to identify voids in yield maps. Furthermore, it maps three types of spatial errors (GPS errors, yield surges, and voids) to two standard data quality dimensions (accuracy and completeness). Doing so provides a quality score that can be utilized to assess the quality of yield datasets, eliminating the need for weighbridge data. The paper carries out three types of evaluations: (1) evaluating the algorithm's efficacy by applying it to a dataset containing fields with and without voids; (2) assessing the benefits of integrating void detection and other spatial error identification techniques into the yield data processing chain; and (3) examining the correlation between root mean squared error and the proposed quality score before and after filtering out spatial errors. The results of the evaluations demonstrate that the proposed algorithm achieves a 100% sensitivity, 91% specificity, and 82% accuracy in identifying yield maps with voids. Additionally, there is a decrease in the root mean squared error when various spatial errors, including voids after applying the proposed data pre-processing chain. The inverse correlation observed between the root mean squared error and the proposed quality score (−0.577 and −0.793, before and after filtering spatial errors, respectively) indicates that the quality score can effectively assess the quality of yield datasets. Appealing to external bibliographic systems is an inevitable stage when organizing in-house resources in research libraries and information services. On the one hand, data from external sources can be widely used when working with institutional repositories, e.g., at the stage of searching for data on the organization's papers, creating alerts for new entries or exporting data using appropriate formats to cut the time for bibliographic metadata processing. On the other hand, the most complete data from in-house databases can be used for data correction in external bibliographic systems to increase data accuracy in the organization's publication profiles and enhancing the visibility of bibliographic information for the scientific community. During this time of open science, the use of open access bibliographic systems is becoming more promising, especially in the light of expensiveness and other problems with access to commercial bibliographic products. The paper draws on a set of papers of one of the Russian Academy of Sciences organizations to demonstrate the facilities of open access bibliographic resources when working with institutional repository. We compare the previously used commercial systems Web of Science and Scopus with the open access Russian Science Citation Index, Dimensions, and Lens with regard to coverage of organizations' papers, as well as external databases' appropriateness for library technological processes. The aim of this paper is the technical analysis of a metal chamber for direct steaming of beech (Fagus sylvatica L.)-edged lumber with a thickness of 50.0 mm. The paper presents the basic parameters of the chamber and calculates the dimensions of the metal chamber and its capacity. The dimensions of the chamber with sawn lumber, the number of chambers, and the volume of the single lumber stack have been analyzed. The steaming of the wood is an important and complex operation during the processing of sawlogs into sawn lumber. Steaming, in addition to being a technological procedure, is also a thermal procedure. The steaming of the sawn lumber is carried out in the presence of water vapor in steaming chambers according to the following two methods: direct steaming of the sawn lumber and indirect steaming of the sawn lumber. Purpose: The objective of this paper is to identify the factors that drive CS and provide a clear understanding of its dimensions, thereby laying a roadmap for modern-day organizations, striving to achieve sustainability. Design/methodology/approach: In this paper study has been undertaken through an extensive literature review of research papers and articles from varied journals, books, reports and online sources. Findings: Based on the literature reviewed, the paper identifies environmental responsibility, social responsibility, corporate reputation, compliance issues and organizational factors as the five major drivers of CS. It also gives an overview of Triple Bottom Line (TBL) based definitions of CS, proposed by different scholars and provides favourable arguments towards the adoption of a holistic TBL approach, maintaining a balance between the environmental dimension (planet), social dimension (people) and economic dimension (profit). Research limitations/implications: The research provides a conceptual framework related to the drivers and dimensions of CS. However, further research is required to find the right mix of drivers that fuel CS in companies and to understand the actual balance of the TBL dimensions that exists in the modern organizations. The purpose of the paper is to explore the architecture of the institutional culture with the aim of proposing a programmatic template to use to implement culture change initiatives in the higher education (HE) sector in South Africa. The need for institutional culture change has been flagged in numerous studies as a barrier in the implementation of substantive and qualitative transformation. Through document analysis, this paper argues that the problem in implementing institutional culture change interventions aligned with the humanising mission of the sector is related to the failure to adopt a social inclusion approach that is based on a systems thinking paradigm. The paradigm is a holistic analysis of a system with the purpose of identifying elements of that system, which this research manifests and explicates. The findings of the research show that changing institutional culture is inextricably linked to the objectives of transformation. Full-field three-dimensional (3D) measurement technology based on phase information has become an indispensable part of geometric dimension measurement in modern scientific research and engineering applications. This field has been developing and evolving for the study of highly reflective phenomena, diffuse reflections, and specular surfaces, and many novel methods have emerged to increase the speed of measurements, enhance data accuracy, and broaden the robustness of the system. Herein, we will discuss the latest research progress in full-field 3D shape measurement based on phase information systematically and comprehensively. First, the fundamentals of 3D shape measurement based on phase information are introduced, namely, phase-shifting and transform-based methods. Second, recent technological innovations are highlighted, including increases in measurement speed and automation and improvements in robustness in complex environments. In particular, the challenges faced by these technological advances in solving highly dynamic, composite surface measurement problems are presented, i.e., with multiexposure techniques proposed for high dynamics that extend the dynamic range of the camera to reduce the effects of overexposure but increase the cost of time and have high hardware requirements, fringe adaptive techniques that overcome light variations but are computationally complex, and multipolarized camera techniques that reduce the effects of light variations but are sensitive to the light source. Third, the phase-shifting method combined with coding is proposed to improve the measurement speed, but the accuracy is slightly reduced. Deep learning techniques are proposed to cope with measurements in complex environments, but the dataset computation process is cumbersome. Finally, future research directions are suggested, and the challenges are presented. Overall, this work provides a reference for researchers and engineers. English reading and writing are important parts of language teaching. In order to improve the English reading and writing ability of college students, the TLBO (teaching learning-based optimization) algorithm is used in this research to improve the way that English reading and writing are taught in colleges and universities. It is chosen as the primary model for this study. The TLBO algorithm is further optimized in this paper, and a convergence analysis is performed between the optimized model M-TLBO (multi-learning teaching learning-based optimization) algorithm and other TLBO algorithms in order to address the issues that the TLBO algorithm has an excessively single teaching ability and readily settles into local optimal solutions for some large-scale complex problems. In terms of stability and convergence accuracy, M-TLBO outperforms other algorithms. In order to investigate the impact of the M-TLBO algorithm on students' writing performance, this paper uses the teaching-learning optimization algorithm to conduct a pre-and post-test on students' English reading and writing performance in five dimensions. The study's findings revealed that students' pre-test writing scores had a mean value of 8.4770 and a standard deviation of 1.72449, and that their post-study writing scores had increased by 5.05 points. The English reading and writing information-based teaching model can improve students' English writing performance. The paper addresses the potential relationships between shared authority in mathematics classrooms and students' mathematical reasoning. Even though tensions and challenges related to shared authority are explicated in the literature, there are few examples of how these issues play out in mathematics teaching. We investigate the case of a mathematics teacher attempting to share authority as well as applying several moves recognized as supporting meaningful student learning. Data has been collected in a fourth-grade Norwegian classroom and is analyzed by means of open coding, inspired by literature. We identify the moves used by the teacher, and we rank these moves along two dimensions: (1) their potential to support mathematical reasoning and (2) their potential for sharing authority. From this, we uncover how a teacher's work of orchestrating mathematical discussions involves moves in all four quadrants, and we discuss how the interplay of moves affects the authority structures and the collaborative reasoning in the classroom. This paper examines the linguistic and cultural dimensions of verbal humor in American and Chinese sitcoms, focusing on "Growing Pains" and "Home with Kids." Situational comedies (sitcoms) serve as a platform to explore the manifestation of culture through humor, employing Grice's conversational maxims and Politeness Principles. The study analyzes 200 utterances from these sitcoms, which were instrumental in generating humor or laughter. The findings reveal distinct cultural approaches to humor. The American sitcom "Growing Pains" predominantly features a tendency to deliver false statements without factual backing, emphasizing humor over reality. This reflects an American cultural orientation towards verbosity and extravagance in dialogue. Conversely, "Home with Kids," the Chinese sitcom, indicates a subtle shift from the traditional norms of modesty and humility, typical in Chinese culture. These results highlight how cultural norms and orientations are deliberately flouted in sitcoms to create humor. The study contributes to understanding the convergence and divergence in humor expression between American and Chinese cultures. Furthermore, it suggests future research avenues, including the analysis of violations of conversational and politeness principles in emerging television genres and the exploration of humor in a multimodal environment. With the proliferation of IoT devices and the increasing popularity of location-oriented services in cyber-physical-social systems, the cognitive engines of these systems have taken on a multitude of parameters across various dimensions, making it impractical and time-consuming to search for the exact optimal solution. To address this challenge, the use of nature-inspired or evolutionary algorithms to find satisfactory solutions in a timely manner has gained significant attention, with reference point-based algorithms being one of the prominent approaches. However, when dealing with nonuniform, degenerate, and discrete Pareto fronts in the target space, using a considerable number of reference points may become ineffective, leading to a loss of diversity in exploration and exploitation during the problem-solving process. Consequently, the distribution of the solutions is adversely affected. To overcome this challenge, this paper presents a strategy to estimate the eigenvalues of the Pareto front in a timely manner. When encountering nonuniform, degenerate, and discrete Pareto fronts, a combination of radial space partitioning and angle selection mechanisms is employed to address these issues. Subsequently, an adaptive selection-based many-objective evolutionary algorithm (ASMaOEA) is proposed. Extensive comparisons with several competing methods on 31 representative benchmark problems demonstrate that ASMaOEA can provide a flexible configuration for decision engines in three typical scenarios involving cyber-physical-social systems. Furthermore, the analysis confirms that ASMaOEA can reduce the bit error rate and improve the system's throughput, thereby offering substantial benefits to the overall performance of the system. Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to identify leaders and trends in branding research studies, undertaken during 2000-2019. Identification was made in the following categories: most popular subjects; most productive countries; most productive institutions; most productive scholars; most productive sources; most cited publications and most cited scholars. Design/methodology/approach: Bibliometric analysis based on data from Scopus and Dimensions. Findings: The majority of branding publications belong to business and management. The interest toward this research field, however, declines mostly in favor of cultural studies, psychology, sociology, etc. The majority of publications on branding are concentrated in the USA, UK and Australia. Griffith University has become a leader in the number of branding publications within 2000-2019. T C Melewar is a leader by the number of branding publications among scholars. Journal of Brand Management has been a leader among sources. Journal of Marketing is a leader by the number of the most cited papers. Currently, Digital Twins receive considerable attention from practitioners and in research. A Digital Twin describes a concept that connects physical and virtual objects through a data linkage. However, Digital Twins are highly dependent on their individual use case, which leads to a plethora of Digital Twin configurations. Based on a thorough literature analysis and two interview series with experts from various electrical and mechanical engineering companies, this paper proposes a set of archetypes of Digital Twins for individual use cases. It delimits the Digital Twins from related concepts, e.g., Digital Threads. A guiding question for this special section, sparked by the increasing number of studies on callous -unemotional traits (CU traits) and the DSM-5 Limited Prosocial Emotion (LPE) specifier, is whether CU traits are enough to identify a clinically meaningful subgroup of youth with conduct problems or whether other psychopathic traits contribute. Seven empirical papers and two commentary papers address this question to varying degrees and in different ways with some papers “competing” various models against one another along with other papers investigating distinct correlates of the psychopathy factors. Findings across the papers suggest that there could be benefits to examining the broader construct of psychopathy in addition to examining its underpinning dimensions rather than CU traits alone. Two commentary papers also shed light on the importance of psychopathic traits in children with Conduct Disorder (CD) and provide insights for future work on this topic. It is hoped that the articles and commentary will generate new ideas for research and practice that could have implications for the treatment of those individuals with CD and psychopathic traits.
