In the present paper, we characterize Lie (Jordan) σ-centralizers of generalized matrix algebras. More precisely, we obtain some conditions under which every Lie σ-centralizer of a generalized matrix algebra can be expressed as the sum of a σ-centralizer and a center- valued mapping. Further, it is shown that under certain appropriate assumptions every Jordan σ-centralizer of a generalized matrix algebra is a σ-centralizer. The exponential space, which is a Banach function space, can be defined with two very differently looking, but equivalent norms. The concept of a tolerance relation, shortly called tolerance, was studied on various algebras since the seventies of the twentieth century by B. Zelinka and the first author (see e.g. [6] and the monograph [1] and the references therein). Since tolerances need not be transitive, their blocks may overlap and hence in general the set of all blocks of a tolerance cannot be converted into a quotient algebra in the same way as in the case of congruences. However, G. Czédli ([7]) showed that lattices can be factorized by means of tolerances in a natural way, and J. Grygiel and S. Radeleczki ([8]) proved some variant of an Isomorphism Theorem for tolerances on lattices. The aim of the present paper is to extend the concept of a tolerance on a lattice to posets in such a way that results similar to those obtained for tolerances on lattices can be derived. In this paper, we study the existence and stability of solutions for impulsive pantograph fractional integro-differential equation via ψ-Hilfer fractional derivative in a appropriate Banach space. The paper presents error bounds for the second order exponential Runge-Kutta method for parabolic abstract linear time-dependent differential equations incorporating non-smooth initial data. As an example for this particular type of problems, the paper presents a spatial discretization of a partial integro-differential equation arising in financial mathematics, where non-smooth initial conditions occur in option pricing models. In this paper, we introduce a new scheme based on the exponential spline function for solving linear second-order Fredholm integro-differential equations. Our approach consists of reducing the problem to a set of linear equations. We prove the convergence analysis of the method applied to the solution of integro-differential equations. The method is described and illustrated with numerical examples. The results reveal that the method is accurate and easy to apply. Moreover, results are compared with the method in (J. Comput. Appl. In the paper, we propose a method for proving the unconditional basis property of eigen- and associated functions of an integro-differential operator defined on a nondense domain of definition. In particular, we obtain a new simpler proof of the unconditional basis property of eigenand associated functions of the spectral Orr-Sommerfeld problem, well-known in hydromechanics, which reduces to the eigenvalue problem for the operator under study. In this paper we study local existence, uniqueness, and continuous dependence of an abstract integrodifferential equation. We also present a result on unique continuation and a blow-up alternative for mild solutions of the integrodifferential equation. In this paper, we apply the pseudospectral method based on the Chebyshev cardinal function to solve the parabolic partial integro-differential equations (PIDEs). Since these equations play a key role in mathematics, physics, and engineering, finding an appropriate solution is important. We use an efficient method to solve PIDEs, especially for the integral part. Unlike when using Chebyshev functions, when using Chebyshev cardinal functions it is no longer necessary to integrate to find expansion coefficients of a given function. This reduces the computation. The convergence analysis is investigated and some numerical examples guarantee our theoretical results. We compare the presented method with others.
