Due to their strong antibacterial activity and nanometric size, nanoparticles have become a feasible option for a range of medical treatments. The purpose of the research is to prepare a nanocomposite of four materials, and to study the effect of the content of silicon dioxide (SiO2) / cobalt oxide (CO2O3) NPs on the PVA–PEG mixture. In this paper, samples of polymer nanocomposite were created by solution casting. The test specimens were made of an organic host matrix consisting of poly (ethylene glycol) (PEG) and poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA) polymer mixture. Different concentrations of silicon dioxide (SiO2) and cobalt oxide (CO2O3) were introduced to specimens at different weight percentages (0%, 2%, 4%, 6%, and 8%). The present research tested the optical, structural, morphological, and antibacterial characteristics of (PVA–PEG-SiO2–CO2O3) NCs. The blended homogenous nanoparticle distribution, which forms a unified network across the polymer matrix, is shown in the optical microscope photos. The outcomes of field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) investigations show that the surface morphology is sufficiently homogenous and distributed. The blend consisting of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and (polyethylene glycol) (PEG) was discovered to be amorphous by X-ray diffraction (XRD) investigation. Furthermore, peaks of other nanomaterials appeared at all nanocomposites sample concentrations, and we compared them with the reference code PDF. For both allowed and forbidden transitions, the energy gap shrinks from (4.23 to 3.22) eV and (3.9 to 2.59) eV, respectively. The outcomes indicate an upward trend between the measured absorbance values, absorption coefficient (α), refractive index (n), real and imaginary dielectric constants, and optical conductivity (σop) with riesing the concentrations of (SiO2–CO2O3) nanoparticles, especially in the UV and visible areas. It appeared clearly at the highest amount of nanoparticles at a certain wavelength (390 nm), and the results indicated that they could be attractive materials for nano-oriented optoelectronic devices. The antibacterial properties of the (PVA–PEG-SiO2–CO2O3) nanocomposites were finally studied. As the ratio of SiO2–CO2O3 nanoparticles to PVA-PEG grew, so did the antibacterial activity of S. aureus and E. coli, yielding inhibition region values of (20 and 21) mm, respectively. The goal of this study is to manufacture quaternary nanocomposites from a mixture of two polymers, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and polyethylene glycol (PEG), with two nanomaterials, cobalt trioxide (Co2O3) and silicon dioxide (SiO2) nanoparticles, by casting and forming films with different weight ratios (2, 4,6 and 8) w.t.%. Which consider these nanocomposites promising for many modern applications, such as nanodevices and pressure sensors, have a distinct physical and chemical nature. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) reveals the appearance of aggregates and agglomerates randomly distributed on the upper surface of (PVA-PEG-SiO2-Co2O3) nanocomposite films when reach a weight percentage of 8%. Using an optical microscope, the images indicate the formation of an interconnected network within the polymer matrix of (SiO2-Co2O3) nanoparticles, compared to the pure film (PVA-PEG). Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) also showed the creep of the peak location and changes in the peak shape and intensity. The electrical properties of alternating current indicated that the dielectric loss and dielectric constant decrease with increasing frequency of the applied electric field and, at the same time, increase with increasing concentration of NPs. When they reaching a concentration of 8% by weight in (SiO2-Co2O3) NPs and at a frequency of f = 100 Hz, the dielectric constant and A.C. electrical conductivity of the (PVA-PEG) mixture augment by about 100% and 60%, respectively. The results we obtained from the study indicate that combining nanoparticles (SiO2-Co2O3) with (PVA-PEG) leads to improving the electrical and structural properties. The outcomes of the pressure sensor deployment show that, in comparison to other sensors, the (PVA-PEG-SiO2-Co2O3) nanostructures have better ecological durability, extraordinary flexibility, and exceptional pressure sensitivity. This study aims to fabricate thick films of polyvinyl alcohol containing (SiC-BaTiO3) nanoparticles in order to improve their structural, optical, and electrical characteristics. The (PVA-SiC-BaTiO3) nanocomposite films are made utilize the casting method. According to optical microscope images, the (SiC-BaTiO3) nanoparticles create a persistent network inside the polymer compared to pure (PVA). FTIR reveals that the peak position, peak shape, and intensity are shifting. When (SiC-BaTO3) nanoparticle concentrations were increased to (6 wt%), optical tests revealed that the absorbance of (PVA-SiC-BaTiO3) nanocomposites enhanced from 50 to 98%. Meanwhile, the energy gap of (PVA-SiC-BaTiO3) nanocomposites declined from (4.42 to 3.56) eV and from (4.1 to 2.85) eV for the allowed and forbidden indirect transitions, respectively. These findings could be important for using (PVA-SiC-BaTiO3) nanostructures in diverse optics applications and nanotechnology. As well as an increase in optical parameters including optical conductivity, real and imaginary dielectric constants, refractive index, absorption coefficient, and extinction coefficient. The dielectric loss (ε″) and dielectric constant (ε′) for nanocomposites reduce as the frequency of the applied electrical field rises but increase as the concentration of nanoparticles (NPs) rises. When the (SiC-BaTiO3) concentration reached (6 wt%) at a frequency of 100 Hz, A.C. electrical conductivity (σa.c) and dielectric constant increases by around 90% and 130%, respectively. Based on the results, doping PVA with (SiC-BaTiO3) NPs enhanced the optical, structural, and A.C electrical properties, making the (PVA-SiC-BaTiO3) nanostructures promising materials for various optoelectronic nanodevices.
