To respond to travel demand in the MaaS system, improve transport efficiency, and optimize the framework of MaaS, we propose a travel demand response model based on a spatiotemporal preference clustering algorithm that considers the impact of travel preferences and features of the MaaS system to improve travel demand response and achieve full coverage of travel demands. Specifically, in the MaaS system, the time preference hierarchical clustering algorithm is optimized with travel preference as the perception factor and preference priority order as the iteration index. Then, we cluster the departure and arrival times of reservation demand points and iteratively analyze the discrete points to obtain the set of reservation demand points with convergent time dimensions under similar preferences. Then, the spatial preference DBSCAN clustering algorithm is improved with travel preference and preference priority order as the iteration indices, and spatial clustering of the time-dense points are updated by the silhouette coefficient to obtain reservation demand points with similar spatiotemporal preference and respond to the demands. Meanwhile, traffic resources are coordinated by the MaaS system and the flexible means of transport are deployed to spatiotemporal discrete points to achieve full coverage of travel demand. Simulation shows that when the neighborhood range is 0.5km and the least number of reservation demand sites is 3, our spatiotemporal model achieves a response rate of reservation demand points at 95%, and a demand coverage rate of 100%, which is 15% and 6.7% higher than the hierarchical clustering model and the DBSCAN clustering model, respectively. The demand response rate is also improved compared to the spatiotemporal clustering model in the customized bus model. Most geophysical and geochemical data are commonly acknowledged to exhibit fractal and multifractal properties, but the fractal characteristics of polarizability have received limited attention from the literature. The present study demonstrates that the polarizability data of the graphite deposits have fractal characteristics and introduces the fractal method for its quantitative analysis to indicate and predict the properties of graphite deposits. The results show that the concentration-area (C-A) method is superior to classical interpolation in anomaly extraction but inferior to the spectrum-area (S-A) method in the coverage region. Because the type of graphite ore is sedimentary-metamorphic in this area, the graphite ore-bodies can be regarded as a special stratum, which is different from most metal deposits, and the anomaly of graphite ore are shown in the background mode of the S-A method. The high values of the background mode effectively indicate the potential areas where the graphite-bearing strata occur, while observing a decrease in the power-law exponent (β) of the background mode as the width of ore-bodies increases. The validity of this conclusion was confirmed based on the vertical profiles of the predicted area, and the uncharted ore vein was thereby identified. Furthermore, it was found that the anomaly mode can serve as a grade indicator of graphite ore rather than delineating the fault. By integrating the background and anomaly modes of the S-A method, we can quantitatively predict and effectively identify high-grade targets from sedimentary deposits containing minerals in future exploration. Nano-bubble irrigation, as a new irrigation technology, can deliver fertilizer-mixed oxygen-enriched water to the root zone of crops, representing a new means for increasing crop yield and carbon sequestration and emission reduction. To systematically analyze the effects of nano-bubble irrigation on crop yield, soil aeration, and soil greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, as well as evaluating its contribution to the net greenhouse warming potential (NGWP) in greenhouse agriculture, this study was conducted in greenhouse facilities in Zhengzhou, China and focused on tomato plants. A 2-factor, 2-level, completely randomized trial of nitrogen application (low N1: 120 kg/hm2 and normal N2: 180 kg/hm2), conventional irrigation, and nano-bubble irrigation (C: 5 ppm and A: 15 ppm) was conducted. Compared with conventional irrigation, crop yield increased by 18.94% and 16.36% (p < 0.05), CO2 emission by 10.72% and 5.71% (p < 0.05), N2O emission by 29.76% and 35.74% (p < 0.05), and CH4 uptake by 300.67% and 327.67% (p < 0.05) under nano-bubble irrigation. The nano-bubble irrigation increased the crop yield, thus significantly improving the NGWP sink for greenhouse gases. The low-nitrogen and regular-nitrogen treatments increased NGWP by 22.69% and 14.52%, respectively (p < 0.05). This suggests that nano-bubble irrigation can significantly improve soil aeration, increase tomato yield and biomass, and significantly improve crop carbon sequestration. In the future, nano-bubble irrigation can be used along with soil amendments to achieve a more efficient increase in yield and enhance the ability of farmland to sequester carbon and reduce emissions. Wavelet transformation has been widely used in geophysical and geochemical exploration, and the fractal feature of wavelet coefficients has recently stood out from many wavelet threshold methods. We introduced the wavelet–fractal method to analyze the polarizability and resistivity of graphite deposits. Due to the unique nature of graphite-bearing gneiss, characterized by high polarizability and low resistivity, we concluded that the polarizability background mode is better suited to depict the morphology of the graphite-bearing formation, with the resistivity background mode serving as complementary information for verification. Symlets5 is regarded as the optimal mother wavelet to indicate the characteristics of graphite ore by means of comparison and analysis. The polarizability anomalies showed two different linear forms: the direction of the measuring line and the strike of the ore bodies. According to the data of drill holes on the profile, we inferred that the high values of the anomaly mode can be used to delineate the target area where the graphite is enriched. Combining the application of both modes, we used the wavelet–fractal method for the quantitative prediction and effective selection of a potential area with a high grade. The approach used in this current study can be extended to the prospecting of other graphite deposits or sedimentary–metamorphic deposits containing conductive minerals, where geochemical and geophysical data are available. In this work, a unique three-dimensional framework structure of carbon foam (CF) was obtained by carbonizing melamine foam at a certain temperature, and its dielectric properties were studied. Then the microwave absorption properties were further improved by adding Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles. CF/Fe3O4 absorbing composites were obtained. The CF/Fe3O4 absorbing composites can obtained different electromagnetic parameters of CF/Fe3O4 by adjusting the addition amount of Fe3O4 nanoparticles. When the mass ratio of CF to Fe3O4 is 6:4, the microwave absorption performance is the best. With a thickness of 1.5 mm and a load of 20 wt% of the absorbing material, the reflection loss (RL) can reach − 19.0 dB at 15.7 GHz. When the thickness is 1.5 mm, the effective absorption bandwidth can reach 4.8 GHz (13–17.8 GHz). By adjusting the thickness, it can achieve effective absorption in the range of 3.5–18 GHz. The microwave absorption performance of the synthesized CF/Fe3O4 composites are attributed to the three-dimensional porous structure, which realizes multiple scattering and reflection. Various heterogeneous interfaces such as carbon-air and carbon-Fe3O4 nanoparticles lead to the abundant interface polarization. Not only that, the combination of carbon materials and magnetic particles also further improves its impedance matching performance. This work has not only obtained carbon-based/magnetic particle composite materials with relatively good performance, but also provided new ideas for the design of high-performance magnetic/dielectric composite absorbing materials. Although several artificial nanotherapeutics have been approved for practical treatment of metastatic breast cancer, their inefficient therapeutic outcomes, serious adverse effects, and high cost of mass production remain crucial challenges. Herein, we developed an alternative strategy to specifically trigger apoptosis of breast tumors and inhibit their lung metastasis by using natural nanovehicles from tea flowers (TFENs). These nanovehicles had desirable particle sizes (131 nm), exosome-like morphology, and negative zeta potentials. Furthermore, TFENs were found to contain large amounts of polyphenols, flavonoids, functional proteins, and lipids. Cell experiments revealed that TFENs showed strong cytotoxicities against cancer cells due to the stimulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) amplification. The increased intracellular ROS amounts could not only trigger mitochondrial damage, but also arrest cell cycle, resulting in the in vitro anti-proliferation, anti-migration, and anti-invasion activities against breast cancer cells. Further mice investigations demonstrated that TFENs after intravenous (i.v.) injection or oral administration could accumulate in breast tumors and lung metastatic sites, inhibit the growth and metastasis of breast cancer, and modulate gut microbiota. This study brings new insights to the green production of natural exosome-like nanoplatform for the inhibition of breast cancer and its lung metastasis via i.v. and oral routes. Exosome-like nanovesicles from edible tea flowers induced mitochondrial damage, cell cycle arrest, cell apoptosis, microbiota modulation, and further inhibited the growth of breast tumors and their lung metastasis. Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a common malignant tumor around the world. Studying the unique constitution of CRC patients is conducive to the application of personalized medical treatment for CRC. The most common types of constitution in CRC are cold and heat constitution. A previous study has suggested that the malignant progression in cold and heat constitution CRC are different; however, the mechanism remains unclear. The tumor microenvironment (TME) is likely to vary with each individual constitution, which may affect the tumor growth in different constitutions. The extracellular matrix (ECM), the most important component of TME, plays a critical role in disease progression and outcome in patients with CRC. Moreover, collagen, the major component of the ECM, determines the main functional characteristics of ECM and tissue fibrosis caused by collagen deposition, which is one of the signs of CRC malignant progression. This study aimed to explore the mechanisms leading to different colorectal carcinogenesis paradigms between the cold constitution and heat constitution within the context of ECM collagen deposition. We established the CRC rat models and enrolled 30 CRC patients with cold and heat constitution. The collagen-related parameters were detected by using Sirius red staining combined with polarized light microscope, and expressions of collagen (COL I and COL III) and lysyl oxidase (LOX and LOXL2) were determined using immunohistochemistry, while the mRNA levels of COL1A1, COL3A1, LOX, and LOXL2 were measured by qRT-PCR. We found that a higher degree of collagen deposition in the cold-constitution group. The results suggest cold and heat constitution may affect the colorectal carcinogenesis paradigm by influencing the early collagen deposition in colon tissue. Background: Quality assurance (QA) of patient-specific treatment plans for intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) necessitates prior validation. However, the standard methodology exhibits deficiencies and lacks sensitivity in the analysis of positional dose distribution data, leading to difficulties in accurately identifying reasons for plan verification failure. This issue complicates and impedes the efficiency of QA tasks., Purpose: The primary aim of this research is to utilize deep learning algorithms for the extraction of 3D dose distribution maps and the creation of a predictive model for error classification across multiple machine models, treatment methodologies, and tumor locations., Method: We devised five categories of validation plans (normal, gantry error, collimator error, couch error, and dose error), conforming to tolerance limits of different accuracy levels and employing 3D dose distribution data from a sample of 94 tumor patients. A CNN model was then constructed to predict the diverse error types, with predictions compared against the gamma pass rate (GPR) standard employing distinct thresholds (3%, 3 mm; 3%, 2 mm; 2%, 2 mm) to evaluate the model's performance. Furthermore, we appraised the model's robustness by assessing its functionality across diverse accelerators., Results: The accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 scores of CNN model performance were 0.907, 0.925, 0.907, and 0.908, respectively. Meanwhile, the performance on another device is 0.900, 0.918, 0.900, and 0.898. In addition, compared to the GPR method, the CNN model achieved better results in predicting different types of errors., Conclusion: When juxtaposed with the GPR methodology, the CNN model exhibits superior predictive capability for classification in the validation of the radiation therapy plan on different devices. Background: Chemotherapy is one of the common treatments for breast cancer. The induction of cancer stem cells (CSCs) is an important reason for chemotherapy failure and breast cancer recurrence. Astragaloside IV (ASIV) is one of the effective components of the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) Astragalus membranaceus , which can improve the sensitivity of various tumors to chemotherapy drugs. Here, we explored the sensitization effect of ASIV to chemotherapy drug paclitaxel (PTX) in breast cancer from the perspective of CSCs., Methods: The study included both in vitro and in vivo experiments. CSCs from the breast cancer cell line MCF7 with stem cell characteristics were successfully induced in vitro . Cell viability and proliferation were detected using the Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8) and colony formation assays, and flow cytometry and terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUTP nick end labeling (TUNEL) methods were performed to detect cell apoptosis. Stemness-related protein expression was determined by western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC). Body weight, histopathology, and visceral organ damage of mice were used to monitor drug toxicity., Results: The expression of stemness markers including Sox2, Nanog, and ALDHA1 was stronger in MCF7-CSCs than in MCF7. PTX treatment inhibited the proliferation of tumor cells by promoting cell apoptosis, whereas the stemness of breast cancer stem cells (BCSCs) resisted the effects of PTX. ASIV decreased the stemness of BCSCs, increased the sensitivity of BCSCs to PTX, and synergistically promoted PTX-induced apoptosis of breast cancer cells. Our results showed that the total cell apoptosis rate increased by about 25% after adding ASIV compared with BCSCs treated with PTX alone. The in vivo experiments demonstrated that ASIV enhanced the ability of PTX to inhibit the growth of breast cancer. Objectives: This study aimed to explore the potential risk factors associated with toileting-related falls in community-dwelling older adults who presented to the emergency department and were subsequently hospitalised., Design: This was a cross-sectional study., Setting and Participants: This study was conducted in two teaching hospitals in Shanghai, China between October 2019 and December 2021 among community-dwelling adults aged ≥60 years., Methods: In-person interviews, physical assessment and medical record review were performed to collect data on the characteristics and risk factors of falls. Associations of toileting-related falls with demographic characteristics and geriatric syndromes were examined using logistic regression models., Main Outcome Measures: Potential risk factors for toileting-related falls., Results: This study included 419 older patients with a mean age of 73.8±9.7 years. Among 60 (14.3%) patients with toileting-related falls (mean age: 78.8±9.2 years), 63.3% of toileting-related falls, mainly occurred between 00:00 and 05:59 hours, compared with 17.3% of non-toileting-related falls, which primarily occurred during the daytime. The rate of recurrent falls (35%) was significantly higher in the toileting-related falls group than in the non-toileting-related falls group (21.2%) (p=0.02). Logistic regression showed that visual impairment (OR 2.7, 95% CI 1.1 to 7.1), cognitive impairment (OR 3.3, 95% CI 1.3 to 8.4), gait instability (OR 3.1, 95% CI 1.1 to 8.8) and urinary incontinence (OR 3.4, 95% CI 1.2 to 9.9) were strongly associated with toileting-related falls. Twenty-three (38.3%) patients in the toileting-related falls group had moderate and severe injuries, compared with 71.7% in the non-toileting-related falls group (p < 0.05)., Conclusions: This study revealed that patients who reported toileting-related falls were more likely to have cognitive impairment, urinary incontinence, gait instability, visual impairment than patients who fell during other activities. The brain responds highly variably to identical sensory inputs, but there is no consensus on the nature of this variability. We explore this question using cortex-wide optical voltage imaging and whisker stimulation in awake mice. Clustering analysis reveals that the sensory-evoked activity propagates over the cortex via distinct pathways associated with distinct behavioral states. The pathway taken by each trial is independent of the level of primary sensory-evoked activation but is partially predictable by the spatiotemporal features of the preceding cortical spontaneous activity patterns. The sensory inputs reduce trial-to-trial variability in brain activity and alter temporal autocorrelation in spatial activity pattern evolutions, suggesting non-linear interactions between evoked activities and spontaneous activities. Further, evoked activities and spontaneous activities occupy different positions in the state space, suggesting that sensory inputs can intricately interact with the internal state to generate large-scale evoked activity patterns not frequented by spontaneous brain states., Competing Interests: Declaration of interests The authors declare no competing interests., (Copyright © 2022 The Author(s). Background: Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is the most aggressive among breast cancer subtypes with the worst prognosis. Ginger is widely used in pharmaceuticals and as food. Its anticancer properties are known, but the mechanism is still unclear. [10]-Gingerol is one of the main phenolic compounds isolated from ginger. Studying the biological effects of [10]-Gingerol is of great significance to understand the efficacy of ginger., Methods: In this study, the therapeutic effects of [10]-Gingerol on TNBC cells were studied using network pharmacology, molecular docking, and in vitro experiments, and the target and mechanism of action were explained., Results: A total of 48 targets of ginger for the treatment of TNBC were found. These targets might interfere with the growth of TNBC by participating in many pathways, such as endocrine resistance, progesterone-mediated oocyte maturation, estrogen signaling pathway, and cellular senescence. Prognostic analyses indicated that the JUN, FASN, ADRB2, ADRA2A , and PGR were the hub genes, while molecular docking predicted the stable binding of ADRB2 protein with drug compounds. Additionally, [10]-Gingerol could induce apoptosis by regulating the caspase activation., Conclusions: [10]-Gingerol affects the growth of TNBC through multiple action targets and participating in multiple action pathways. Background: To explore the role of caveolin-1 ( Cav-1 ) in breast cancer (BC)., Methods: Cav-1 expression data were downloaded from the Tumor Immune Estimation Resource (TIMER) and Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) databases. We compared the expression of Cav-1 in different tumor tissues and between BC tissues and normal tissues (NTs), as well as the differences between different clinical traits. Kaplan-Meier survival analysis and univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses were used to determine whether Cav-1 serves as a prognostic factor. The correlations of Cav-1 expression with the immune microenvironment and infiltrating immune cells were also analyzed. Quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) was used to detect Cav-1 mRNA expression in the MCF-7, SKB-R3, MDB-MB-231, and SUM-159 cell lines. LV- Cav-1 -RNAi was transfected into MCF-7 and MDB-MB-231 cells, and the MTT assay was used to detect cell proliferation. Subsequently, MDB-MB-231 cells carrying the Cav-1 -RNAi gene were used to determine the effects of Cav-1 knockdown on tumor growth in vivo using a severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID) model., Results: Cav-1 was enriched in most solid tumors, and its expression was lower in BC tissues than in NT. Cav-1 expression was shown to be related to patients' clinical outcomes. Cav-1 was expressed in the MCF-7, SKB-R3, MDB-MB-231, and SUM-159 cell lines. The MTT assay revealed that the proliferative ability of MDB-MB-231 and MCF-7 cells was accelerated.
