Covering the full texts of all papers published in MDPI's Remote Sensing between 2009 and 2021, in-depth scientometric analyses were conducted. Trends in publications show an increase in the overall number of papers. A relative increase in papers using SAR sensors and a relative decrease in papers using optical remote sensing can also be seen. The full-text analyses reveal distinctive styles and writing patterns for papers from different sub-fields of remote sensing and for different countries and even cities. While a slight increase in the readability of abstracts is detected over time, the overall readability of papers is decreasing. Institutional co-authorship analysis reveals the ongoing 'scientific decoupling' between China and the USA in remote sensing. The need of keeping medical information safe and secure stems from the fact that doctors rely on it to make accurate diagnoses. If this information is altered in any way, no matter how minor, there is a risk of an inaccurate diagnosis, which could result in severe medical issues and death. The transition from paper to electronic health records (EHRs) has considerably improved patient care quality and efficiency. However, for many healthcare service providers, it has extended the attack surface. Because of the value of a patient's medical information, this has posed a threat to both patients and healthcare providers. When security is not taken into account in healthcare systems, patients' privacy is jeopardized. The intended solution to this challenge is to create a modified AES algorithm to secure patient medical information. Although, the AES algorithm is secure, however, there is always a need for improvement on any cryptographic algorithms in terms of computational cost. This study implements AES and modified the last round of the AES and their performance has been measured by scrambling input datasets of various contents and volumes. The experimental results show that modified AES outperforms AES algorithms in terms of Encryption time while AES outperform modified AES in terms of decryption time. Also, the Avalanche effect results revealed that modified AES has a higher avalanche effect for small-size files while a smaller avalanche effect for larger file sizes. This signifies that modified AES security is stronger for a small size file while conventional AES has higher security for larger file sizes. The average encryption time of the AES algorithm for text files is 1513.3ms while the modified AES average encryption time gives 1293.837ms. The average decryption time for conventional AES is 1289.627ms while the average decryption time for modified AES give 1400.136ms. Modified AES uses lesser time complexity during the encryption of all categories of data files while conventional AES uses lesser time complexity during the decryption of all categories of data files. Aim: The aim of this study was to assess the accuracy of quotations of the Proximal Fracture of the Humerus Evaluation by Randomization (ProFHER) study in the published literature. Methods: A literature search was performed from March 2015 to November 2019 to identify all papers that reference ProFHER since its publication. Full text articles were reviewed by two independent reviewers using a validated framework of assessing quotation errors. A kappa co-efficient was calculated to assess interobserver reliability of the reviewers. Results: There were 260 individual ProFHER quoted references within the 138 included articles. We identified 35/260 quotation errors (13%). Of these, 10/35 (29%) were major quotation errors and 25/35 (71%) minor quotation errors. There was substantial interobserver agreement when errors were classified. Of the 10 major errors, six quotations were not substantiated by the results of ProFHER and three were unrelated to ProFHER. One paper contained a quotation error that contradicted the results of ProFHER. Of the 25 minor errors, 19 oversimplified or generalised the conclusions of ProFHER and six contained numerical or grammatical errors. Conclusion: The current study demonstrated substantial inaccuracies in quotations of the Proximal Fracture of the Humerus Evaluation by Randomization study. Cloud computing is an online data storage system that can be easily accessed anywhere. Various algorithms and techniques have been developed to secure cloud data, which, if used correctly, can detect cloud attacks. These algorithms can only detect cloud data attacks and cannot prevent such attacks. If an attacker gains access to the data, he or she can tamper with the data in any way that could lead to misuse of the data. This paper will design a secure architecture for securing data with various algorithm implementations on the architecture so that cloud data can be saved from replay attacks. First, a text file will be taken, the text file will be encrypted using the encryption mechanism, and this file will be transmitted on the SaaS cloud server platform. Whenever a file is uploaded to a cloud server, it will be broadcast across the network, after which any user can access it, whether it is valid or invalid. Whenever a file is downloaded from a cloud server, it will be necessary to decrypt it to access it. If the file is successfully decrypted, then the file will be verified. A verification mechanism will be used to verify the data, which will be used to check whether a replay attack has been made on the data or not. If the data authentication is successful, this data will be called authentic data. The novelty of this paper is that an algorithm has been developed in this paper to prevent replay attacks so that if the data is retransmitted with slight changes, then the authenticity and inauthenticity of the data will be identified. The creation of the General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) in the mid-2000s provided a new data format for cities to organize and share digital information on their public transport systems. GTFS feeds store geolocated data on public transport networks, including information on routes, stops, timetables, and service levels. The GTFS standard is now widely adopted by thousands of transport authorities and a wide variety of software applications for different purposes, including trip planning, timetable creation and accessibility analysis. Yet, there is still a lack of tools to parse GTFS data when the objective is to analyze the complex spatial and temporal patterns of public transport systems. This paper presents {gtfs2gps}, a new general-purpose computational tool to easily process static GTFS data that allows one to analyze the space–time trajectories of public transport vehicles at fine spatial and temporal resolutions. {gtfs2gps} is an open-source R package that employs parallel computing to convert GTFS feeds from relational text files into a trajectory data table, similar to GPS records, with the timestamps of vehicles in every trip. This paper explains the package functionalities and demonstrates how {gtfs2gps} can be used to articulate key concepts in time geography to explore and visualize the spatial and temporal patterns of public transport networks. We also present a case study looking at how {gtfs2gps} can be used to examine socioeconomic and spatial–temporal inequalities in access to public transport, providing key information to monitor cities' progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals. Background: Bacterial persisters are thought to be responsible for the recalcitrance and relapse of persistent infections, and they also lead to antibiotic treatment failure in clinics. In recent years, researches on bacterial persisters have attracted worldwide attention and the number of related publications is increasing. The purpose of this study was to better understand research trends on bacterial persisters by identifying and bibliometrics analyzing the top 100 cited publications in this field. Methods: The Web of Science Core Collection was utilized to retrieve the highly cited publications on bacterial persisters, and these publications were cross-matched with Google Scholar and Scopus. The top 100 cited publications were identified after reviewing the full texts. The main information of each publication was extracted and analyzed using Excel, SPSS, and VOSviewer. Results: The top 100 cited papers on bacterial persisters were published between 1997 and 2019. The citation frequency of each publication ranged from 147 to 1815 for the Web of Science Core Collection, 153 to 1883 for Scopus, and 207 to 2,986 for Google Scholar. Among the top 100 cited list, there were 64 original articles, 35 review articles, and 1 editorial material. These papers were published in 51 journals, and the Journal of Bacteriology was the most productive journal with 8 papers. A total of 14 countries made contributions to the top 100 cited publications, and 64 publications were from the United States. 15 institutions have published two or more papers and nearly 87% of them were from the United States. Kim Lewis from Northeastern University was the most influential author with 18 publications. Furthermore, KEYWORDS: co-occurrence suggested that the main topics on bacterial persisters were mechanisms of persister formation or re-growth. Finally, "Microbiology" was the most frequent category in this field. Conclusion: This study identified and analyzed the top 100 cited publications related to bacterial persisters. The results provided a general overview of bacterial persisters and might help researchers to better understand the classic studies, historical developments, and new findings in this field, thus providing ideas for further research. Purpose: To review and analyze abstracts presented at American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS) annual meetings, and to identify publication rates and potential predictive factors for better outcomes. Methods: All abstracts accepted for presentation at AAPOS annual meetings from 2013 to 2017 were examined. A comprehensive literature search via PubMed and Scopus was conducted to identify whether the abstracts had been published as full text. A multivariate analysis was achieved to assess the factors related to successful publication, and a Kaplan-Meier analysis was performed to evaluate the publication time course of abstracts. Results: Of 819 analyzed abstracts, 437 (53%) were published in peer-reviewed journals with a median impact factor of 2.7. The overall mean time to publication was 3 ± 2.2 years. The multivariate analysis revealed that abstracts were more likely to be published if they were accepted at an AAPOS annual meeting as an oral paper (P <.001), if they were prospective (P >.001) and multicenter (P =.013) studies, and if they had strabismus, retina, and vitreous disorders and diagnosis as main topics (P =.022). The Kaplan-Meier analyses revealed significant differences in the publication time distribution for multicenter versus single-center abstracts and paper versus poster and e-poster (P <.05). Conclusions: More than half of the abstracts accepted for presentation at the AAPOS annual meetings were published in peer-reviewed journals within 3 years from submission to the meeting. The factors associated with a higher publication rate were the prospective study design, multicentricity, and presentation at the meeting as an oral paper. The data, in this case, consist of a bibliography of 297 full text papers analyzed for a literature review. The data was collected using PubMed and the full-text papers were analyzed using the search feature in Adobe PDF to count word hits. All papers were scanned manually for search strategy reporting methods. The full-text can provide a more robust analysis of search strategies and tools used in systematic review research than the abstract. This data can be helpful in the future when trying to understand the search strategies for finding grey literature for systematic reviews and how to report search results in a paper. Motivation: Home range is a common measure of use of space by animals because it provides ecological information that is useful for conservation applications. In macroecological studies, values are typically aggregated to species means to examine general patterns of use of space by animals. However, this ignores the environmental context in which the home range was estimated and does not account for intraspecific variation in home range size. In addition, the focus of macroecological studies on home ranges has historically been biased towards terrestrial mammals. The use of aggregated numbers and the terrestrial focus limit our ability to examine home‐range patterns across different environments, their variation in time and variation between different levels of organization. Here, we introduce HomeRange, a global database with 75,611 home‐range values across 960 different species of mammals, including terrestrial, aquatic and aerial species. Main types of variables contained: The dataset contains estimates of home ranges of mammals, species names, methodological information on data collection, method of home‐range estimation, period of data collection, study coordinates and name of location, in addition to species traits derived from the studies, such as body mass, life stage, reproductive status and locomotor habit. Spatial location and grain: The collected data are distributed globally. Across studies, the spatial accuracy varies, with the coarsest resolution being 1°. Time period and grain: The data represent information published between 1939 and 2022. Across studies, the temporal accuracy varies; some studies report start and end dates specific to the day, whereas for other studies only the month or year is reported. Major taxa and level of measurement: Mammalian species from 24 of the 27 different taxonomic orders. Home‐range estimates range from individual‐level values to population‐level averages. Preprints allow researchers to make their findings available to the scientific community before they have undergone peer review. Studies on preprints within bioRxiv have been largely focused on article metadata and how often these preprints are downloaded, cited, published, and discussed online. A missing element that has yet to be examined is the language contained within the bioRxiv preprint repository. We sought to compare and contrast linguistic features within bioRxiv preprints to published biomedical text as a whole as this is an excellent opportunity to examine how peer review changes these documents. The most prevalent features that changed appear to be associated with typesetting and mentions of supporting information sections or additional files. In addition to text comparison, we created document embeddings derived from a preprint-trained word2vec model. We found that these embeddings are able to parse out different scientific approaches and concepts, link unannotated preprint–peer-reviewed article pairs, and identify journals that publish linguistically similar papers to a given preprint. We also used these embeddings to examine factors associated with the time elapsed between the posting of a first preprint and the appearance of a peer-reviewed publication. We found that preprints with more versions posted and more textual changes took longer to publish. Lastly, we constructed a web application (https://greenelab.github.io/preprint-similarity-search/) that allows users to identify which journals and articles that are most linguistically similar to a bioRxiv or medRxiv preprint as well as observe where the preprint would be positioned within a published article landscape. Background: The practice of non-medical switch (NMS) from a reference biological (originator) to a biosimilar is widely accepted in some countries. However, there is little documentation on the impact of NMS from one originator to another originator. Objectives: To assess the consequences for patients of NMS from one biological originator to another, based on existing literature. The focus was on efficacy and cost of treatment with TNF-α-inhibitors in three disease areas. Methods: A literature search was conducted in Ovid (PubMed, EMBASE) and abstracts from meetings in key therapeutic areas, to identify studies reporting efficacy, safety or costs by switching between originator biologics. Results: 167 references were identified and abstracts screened; 36 papers reviewed in full text, and 6 fulfilled the inclusion criteria. Three clinical studies of NMS had very small sample sizes, but suggested that NMS is beneficial. The remaining three studies used administrative data with little clinical information, indicating that NMS was disadvantageous and associated with increased health care utilization and costs. Conclusions: There is very limited documentation on NMS from one originator biological to another, and the literature suffers from methodological limitations. Purpose: This paper aims to summarize peer-reviewed journal articles on national cultures and electronic word of mouth (eWOM) behavior, identify the main findings and patterns among those studies and discuss research gaps that need to be addressed in the future. Design/methodology/approach: A systematic review process was utilized to analyze peer-reviewed journal articles on both eWOM and national cultures. The main research questions were defined, then proceeded by the identification of exclusive and inclusive criteria to search for relevant articles, which were further filtered based on abstracts and full texts, and then scrutinized for main findings and major variables such as countries, cultural variables and data collection methods. Findings: An analysis of 52 papers shows that national cultures, primarily Hofstede's dimensions, influence the willingness of individuals to share eWOM, how they write eWOM and the extent to which they use eWOM to make decisions. Although the reviewed studies have provided insightful implications for marketing theory and practice, the present paper has identified a number of important questions that warrant future research attention. Originality/value: eWOM is continually being employed as a popular source of information for consumers throughout different countries to make their purchase decisions. However, eWOM behavior differs from country to country due to national cultures, and managers' eWOM strategies that work in one country may not be applicable in another. Therefore, there has been an increasing interest in this topic. Nevertheless, it remains unclear which subjects have been addressed and what areas are yet to be investigated. Purpose: This paper aims to reveal the global non-synchronism that exists in the theoretical research of information science (IS) by analyzing and comparing the distribution of theory use, creation and borrowing in four representative journals from the USA, the UK and China. Design/methodology/approach: Quantitative content analysis is adopted as the research method. First, an analytical framework for non-synchronism in theoretical research of IS is constructed. Second, theories mentioned in the full texts of the research papers of four journals are extracted according to a theory dictionary made before. Third, the non-synchronism in the theoretical research of IS is analyzed. Findings: Non-synchronism exists in many aspects of the theoretical research of IS between journals, subject areas and countries/regions. The theoretical underdevelopment still exists in some subject areas of IS. IS presents obvious interdisciplinary characteristics. The theoretical distance from IS to social sciences is shorter than that to natural sciences. Research limitations/implications: This study investigates the theoretical research of IS from the perspective of non-synchronism theory, reveals the theoretical distance from IS to other sciences, deepens the communication between different subject and regional sub-communities of IS and provides new evidences for the necessity of developing domestic theories and theorists of IS. Originality/value: This study introduces the theory of non-synchronism to IS research for the first time, investigates the new advances in theoretical research of IS and provides new quantitative evidences for the understanding of the interdisciplinary characteristics of IS and the necessity of better communication between sub-communities of IS. Digital handwritten recognition is an emerging field in optical character recognition (OCR). A digital writing pad replaces manual writing. In digital writing, the alphabet changes in font and shape. During OCR recognition, covert text file errors occur due to digital pen pressure and digital pen position on the digital pad by the writer. The shape changes in the alphabet lead to an error during the conversion of OCR to text. The above problem arises in Tamil, Chinese, Arabic, and Telugu, where the alphabet consists of bends, curves, and rings. OCR-to-text conversion for the Tamil language has more word errors due to angles and curves in the alphabet, which need to be converted accurately. This paper proposes ResNet two-stage bottleneck architecture (RTSBA) for Tamil language-based text recognition written on a digital writing pad. In the proposed RTSBA, two separate stages of neural networks reduce the complexity of the Tamil alphabet recognition problem. In the initial stage, the number of inputs and variables is reduced. In the final stage, time and computation complexity are reduced. The proposed algorithm has been compared with traditional algorithms such as long short-term memory, Inception-v3, recurrent neural networks, convolutional neural networks, and a two-channel and two-stream transformer. Summary: Text classification is one of the most important tasks to extract information from the Internet and identifying the best text representation settings. With the increase of data volume on the world wide web, the significance of text classification increases. This situation requires huge human efforts to understand and classify the digital data available on the Internet. Text classification is classifying the number of text files into different classes. The data or text available on the Internet is in an unstructured form which increases the difficulty to understand and classify it for useful purposes. This paper proposes a context‐aware text classification system to improve text quality. We use a content‐aware recommendation system to extract the data from well‐known news databases. Text preprocessing techniques like tokenization, stemming, and stop words removal are studied in detail. Furthermore, unigram, bigram, and trigram attributes are also being tested. Attribute selection methods are also examined and their impact on the text classification results. To carry out a detailed investigation, 11 versions are created of each dataset to save the time in experimentation process and applied the different preprocessing techniques to understand the impact of each technique on classification results. For covert communication in lossy channels, it is necessary to consider that the carrier of the hidden watermark will undergo multiple image-processing attacks. In order to ensure that secret information can be extracted without distortion from the watermarked images that have undergone attacks, in this paper, we design a novel fragmented secure communication system. The sender will fragment the secret data to be transmitted and redundantly hide it in a large number of multimodal carriers of messenger accounts on multiple social platforms. The receiver receives enough covert carriers, extracts each fragment, and concatenates the transmitted secret data. This article uses the image carrier as an example to fragment the text file intended for transmission and embeds it into a large number of images, with each fragment being redundant and embedded into multiple images. In this way, at the receiving end, only enough stego images need to be received to extract the information in each image, and then concatenate the final secret file. In order to resist various possible attacks during image transmission, we propose a strong robust image watermarking method. This method adopts a watermark layer based on DFT, which has high embedding and detection efficiency and good invisibility. Secondly, a watermark layer based on DCT is adopted, which can resist translation attacks, JPEG attacks, and other common attacks. Experiments have shown that our watermarking method is very fast; both the embedding time and the extraction time are less than 0.15 s for images not larger than 2000 × 2000 . Our watermarking method has very good invisibility with 41 dB PSNR on average. And our watermarking method is more robust than existing schemes and robust to nearly all kinds of attacks. Based on this strong robust image watermarking method, the scheme of fragmenting and hiding redundant transmission content into a large number of images is effective and practical. Our scheme can 100% restore the secret file completely under different RST or hybrid attacks, such as rotation by 1 degree and 5 degrees, scaling by 1.25 and 0.8, and cropping by 10% and 25%. Our scheme can successfully restore the secret file completely even if 30% of received images are lost. When 80% of received images are lost, our scheme can still restore 61.1% of the secret file. Background: The evidence base for acupoint tapping including Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) includes over 120 clinical trials showing relatively rapid and durable improvements for a range of psychological and physical conditions. It supports the premise that tapping is an active ingredient and shows associated physiologic changes. This evidence is based in standard Western literature databases such as EBSCO and overwhelmingly in English. Objective: The current report explores international and regional research on EFT not previously known in the Western literature evidence base. Methods and Results: A search of Research-Gate found 86 research studies on acupoint tapping not identified in standard Western databases. A systematic search of 21 databases using the EBSCO search engine yielded an additional five previously unknown papers for a total of 91 research studies. These studies were published in regional and international journals (71% in Indonesia) with most published primarily in languages other than English (81% had only title and/or abstract available in English). EFT was used in 47% of the studies, and the remaining studies used "Spiritual EFT" (SEFT), a variation developed in Indonesia combining tapping with spiritual affirmations from the Quran. The majority (84%) were single group or comparative clinical trials and 5% were literature reviews. The target issue included a range of psychological or medical conditions such as anxiety (29%), depression (15%), and hypertension (11%). In a further step, the potential magnitude of this additional research base was explored using Google Scholar. Challenges include inconsistent quality of translations, limited search capabilities of Google Scholar, lack of full text translated into English, and reasons why this literature is not found in the major databases. Conclusion: This review identified a large number of studies that had been "invisible" in the West due to their having been published in non-English-language journals. They demonstrate growing interest in EFT throughout the world. In comparison with English-language EFT databases, these studies tend to be more frequently performed in treatment settings such as hospitals, clinics, and universities, and they often address medical diagnoses such as diabetes, hypertension, and pain as well as psychological conditions. In addition, they apply EFT with populations rarely focused upon in Western EFT studies, such as prisoners, addicts, cancer patients, and diabetics. The Carbohydrate Structure Database (CSDB, http://csdb.glycoscience.ru/) is a free curated repository storing various data on glycans of bacterial, fungal and plant origins. Currently, it maintains a close-to-full coverage on bacterial and fungal carbohydrates up to the year 2020. The CSDB web-interface provides free access to the database content and dedicated tools. Still, the number of these tools and the types of the corresponding analyses is limited, whereas the database itself contains data that can be used in a broader scope of analytical studies. In this paper, we present CSDB source data files and a self-contained SQL dump, and exemplify their possible application in glycan-related studies. By using CSDB in an SQL format, the user can gain access to the chain length distribution or charge distribution (as an example) in a given set of glycans defined according to specific structural, taxonomic, or other parameters, whereas the source text dump files can be imported to any dedicated database with a specific internal architecture differing from that of CSDB. The systematic connections that are of interest here, in turn, can only be made plausible by means of the text. This constellation is theoretically indissoluble. This paper discusses this using both the notion of ›epitext‹ and incorporating the concept of ›mediation‹ unfolded by Bruno Latour. It brings the two together and opens the theoretical territory of ›literary mediation and promotion‹. It follows that mediation is defined as an operation that transforms, that is, not conserves and preserves, transferred into terms of literary mediation: not simply explains and comments, but transforms by inscribing and imprinting itself on what it mediates, is emphasized here. For the understanding of literary mediation, it follows that – instead of being in the service of a literary text conceived as an unchanging entity – it is always modifying and translating it in order to continually bring it forth as something new. While peritexts, however supplementary, constitute compact units, the epitextual perspective brings about their spatial and temporal dispersion. Literature is to be grasped epitextually not as a unity, but as an ensemble or network of different elements, references, and functions that project into a virtually expanded environment of a text. With such a reformulation of the concept of literature, it is stated that epitexts are not attributed to the mediation of literature, but to literature, and that the boundary between these areas is thought to be permeable. The article examines how a text file becomes a printed text and how this shapes the understanding of ›digital literature‹. This also addresses the problem of big data, which requires distant reading procedures and to which Bot. Gespräch ohne Author reacts in a specific way, by capturing context-independent »word distributions« (Piper 2018, 43) to use them for new connectivities. The article reveals the shifts between the possibilities of digitization, its literary adaptations, and a literature oriented to the categories of work, author, and book. It is not concerned with replacing texts designed according to traditional criteria with digital surfaces, but rather with pointing out the untranslatability of one system into the other. An untranslatability, however, that can only be demonstrated in the process of translation, the médiation. By taking up concepts of digital culture and incorporating them by quoting, reflecting, and parodying them, the book, consisting of printed paper bound between two covers, allows them to emerge in a disguise as mediators who participate in its shaping. On the one hand, it suggests that there can be no non-digital literature in a digital ecology, even if it ultimately presents itself in paper form; but, on the other hand, it also suggests that an artificial intelligence can only be described as text or code. It can show that and how literature subjects its mediations or the institutional and medial processes linked to literary mediation to (literary) scrutiny and thereby continually negotiates its own literariness. Where mediation meets the concept of literature, it is also challenged as a literary-theoretical category. With the help of the conceptual pair peri- and epitext, which corresponds to the distinction between literature and literary mediation, as well as with the inclusion of Bruno Latour's concept of the ›médiateur‹, not only the category of the work in the sense of a stable entity distinguishable from its context is questioned, but also – directly related to this – the authorial function as a collectivity of technical operations was traced. A questioning that takes on a particular urgency under the auspices and with the instruments of digitality, bringing to light the traditional concepts of literature as (re)translations, which is exemplified by the transfer of a digital data set into a printed book. Today, open data catalogs enable users to search for datasets with full-text queries in metadata records combined with simple faceted filtering. Using this combination, a user is able to discover a significant number of the datasets relevant to a user's search intent. However, there still remain relevant datasets that are hard to find because of the enormous sparsity of their metadata (e.g., several keywords). As an alternative, in this paper, we propose an approach to dataset discovery based on similarity search over metadata descriptions enhanced by various semantic contexts. In general, the semantic contexts enrich the dataset metadata in a way that enables the identification of additional relevant datasets to a query that could not be retrieved using just the keyword or full-text search. In experimental evaluation we show that context-enhanced similarity retrieval methods increase the findability of relevant datasets, improving thus the retrieval recall that is critical in dataset discovery scenarios. As a part of the evaluation, we created a catalog-like user interface for dataset discovery and recorded streams of user actions that served us to create the ground truth. The data collected is based on the responses of forty-four authors/researchers, who have presented full-text papers published in the International Conference Series on Grey Literature2. The dataset consists of responses to ten questions, two of which are openended. Six of the questions are taken from a questionnaire carried out in 2011 within GreyNet's Enhanced Publications Project. The data contain the number of responses and percentages to each question. The questions deal with the author's own empirical research data, its availability, the formats in which it appears, and the author's willingness to archive it and make it openly accessible. Additional questions deal with the respondent's citation and reference to data, their use of data journals in carrying out search and retrieval, and whether they have (co)authored a data paper or data article. The data was collected via SurveyMonkey3, where it remains stored along with a copy in .ods format in the DANS EASY Archive4. The reuse of the questions and data collected from the study in 2011 is likewise based on the same selection used to define the population of the earlier study. Qualitative data analysis has been criticised for a lack of credibility over recent years when vagueness has been afforded to the reporting of how findings are attained. In response, there has been a growing body of literature emphasising a need to detail methods of qualitative data analysis. This paper adds to this body of knowledge by presenting a reflexive narrative review of the development of a modified version of the 'phenomenological hermeneutical method for interpreting interview texts'. This modification permits greater transparency when dealing with data that relates to multiple contexts. A visual model to represent this modified approach is also presented. Additionally, an exploration of the underpinning theoretical basis to this data analysis method, and modification, is provided. Accordingly, this paper demonstrates this modified qualitative data analysis method ensures that subjective relativistic origins and contexts of interpretations are identifiable, whilst permitting full objectification of the text. Hiding the presence of data during communication has become a pressing concern in this overly digitalized world as a consequence of illegitimate access. These concerns have led to cryptography and steganography techniques as methods for securing data. This paper presents a modified information hiding technique based on an indirect least significant bit. Instead of saving each bit of the secret message in the least significant bit (LSB) of the cover media, each bit of the secret message is compared to a mask bit in the cover media. The result is saved in the cover media's LSB. In this paper, two steganography schemas are designed in which the cover media are image and audio, while the secret message is a text file. A simple encryption technique is used to transforn1 the secret message into an unreadable format before the hiding process begins. This paper proposes to analyze the scientific production on climate change and fisheries in the Philippine context. This research theme was chosen considering the continuous increase in scientific studies related to climate change and fisheries and will therefore help in directing researchers on future directions for research to aid in addressing critical issues in the Philippine fisheries. A total of 69 search articles were extracted using the set criteria, indexed in Web of Science, and Scopus, covering the period from 1960 to 2020. After careful screening for eligibility, twenty-seven full-text articles were chosen for qualitative synthesis. Among the literature reviewed, research foci were categorized into four: impacts assessment (56% or 15 studies) followed by management (22% or 6 studies), adaptation (15% or 4 studies), and perception (7% or 2 studies), and main themes were categorized into four: resource management (59%), economy and livelihood (19%), governance and stakeholder participation (11%), and community marginalization (11%). The method of making parts through additive manufacturing (AM) is becoming more and more widespread due to the possibility of the direct manufacturing of components with complex geometries. However, the technology's capacity is limited by the appearance of micro-cracks/discontinuities during the layer-by-layer thermal process. The ultrasonic (US) method is often applied to detect and estimate the location and size of discontinuities in the metallic parts obtained by AM as well as to identify local deterioration in structures. The Ti6Al4V (Ti64) alloy prepared by AM needed to acquire a high-quality densification if remarkable mechanical properties were to be pursued. Ultrasonic instruments employ a different type of scanning for the studied samples, resulting in extremely detailed images comparable to X-rays. Automated non-destructive testing with special algorithms is widely used in the industry today. This paper assesses the research literature on OFC in LMIC over the last decade across various geographical settings and project focus of the indexed literature. A scoping review of the indexed literature was performed using a set of predefined keywords. The articles were filtered by a ten‐year time frame (2010‐2019) and a strict inclusive‐exclusive criterion. Two authors screened the titles/abstracts/full text of the final included papers and input the desired data (year of publication, type of publication, geographical country/region and project focus to a coded spreadsheet). Six hundred and twenty publications were inventoried from the indexed literature on OFC in LMIC settings over the 10‐year period. Five hundred and eighty‐three derived from single LMIC countries and 37 from multi‐settings. More than half of the articles were reported from Asia (57%), then from Americas (22.8%), Africa (15.4%) and the rest from cross‐regional, Europe and Oceania (4.9%). The top 3 LMIC contributors towards OFC publications were China (21.5%), Brazil (13.1%) and India (11.6%). The most discussed OFC project themes were prevalence, surgical repair, aetiology and genetics. This study helps OFC researchers, humanitarian missions and research grant funders to identify gaps in the literature on issues impacting on children and adults born with OFC, in which issues were subjected to research and which were less explored in which LMIC regions. In addition, this study offers recommendations for established OFC researchers and international research bodies to identify areas of deficiency in the literature and what information is required to support LMIC governments achieve SDGs by 2030. The research on wheel–rail relationship includes the basic theoretical models and corresponding numerical methods of wheel–rail in rolling contact, geometric parameter matching and material matching of them, friction and wear, wheel–rail rolling contact fatigue, wheel–rail adhesion and noise. They are also key theoretical and technical problems of the high-speed train/track coupling system. The basic theoretical models of wheel–rail in rolling contact and the corresponding numerical methods are the basis and one of the basic means for solving other wheel–rail relationship problems. Moreover, the modeling and analysis of coupling behavior of the train and track can only be realized by means of the wheel–rail rolling contact mechanics model and its corresponding numerical method. The difficulty of scheduling jobs or workloads increases due to the stochastic and transient characteristics of the cloud network. As a key prerequisite for establishing QoS, it asserts that effective work scheduling must be developed and executed. Maximum profit is made possible for cloud service providers by proper resource management. The most effective scheduling algorithm considers resources given by providers rather than the task set that users have accumulated. This paper developed a model that works in a two-level hierarchical model comprising global scheduling and local schedules to handle the heterogeneous type of request in real-time. These two levels of scheduling communicate with each other to produce an optimal scheduling scheme. Initially, all the requests are passed to the global scheduler, whose task is to categorize the type of request and pass it to the corresponding queue for assigning it to the related local scheduler using a parabolic intuitionistic fuzzy scheduler. In this work, the heterogeneous types of files are handled by maintaining different queues, in which each queue handles only a specific type of file like text doc, audio, image and video. Once the type of req is initiated by the clients, the global scheduler identifies the type of request and passes it to their relevant queue. In the next level, the local scheduler is assigned to each type of web server cluster. Once the work request is dispatched from the global workload scheduler, it is allocated to the local queue of the local scheduler, which allocates the resources of web servers by adapting the Quantum Honey Badger Algorithm, which searches the best-suited server for completing the assigned work based on the available resource parameters. Ultramarathon running is a sport that is growing in popularity. Competing in an ultramarathon event is physiologically taxing on the human body, and it should not be surprising that not all individuals who enroll for an event ultimately finish. While many factors can contribute to this phenomenon, it is likely that nutritional and hydration strategies play a large role between finishing and not finishing an ultramarathon. No published paper has systematically reviewed the effects of nutritional and hydration strategies during ultramarathon events between finishers and non-finishers. This paper details our intended protocol with the following steps that create the flow of the systematic review: 1) Determine the review question and Participant, Intervention, Comparator, Outcome, Study Design (PICOS) criteria; 2) Create inclusion and exclusion criteria; 3) Create and follow a search strategy; 4) Document sources that are included and excluded according to the pre-determined eligibility criteria; 5) Assess final sources for risk of bias; 6) Extract pertinent data from final full-text articles and synthesize the information; and 7) Disseminate findings of the systematic review. In this regard, an extensive literature survey has been made across academic journals that provided structured, comprehensive, and chronological findings and results. Most of the articles provided robust evidence about positive impact of export diversification on economic growth and mixed results regarding the impact of export instability on economic growth. This paper presents a set of files for working with Topas software in order to calculate the thermal expansion coefficients of a crystal phase as a function of the temperature from a set of powder diffractograms. All the calculations and profile fittings are performed in the same run, in cascade and without interruption. Free graphics software GNUPLOT reads the output files in order to display both the characteristic three-dimensional thermal expansion surface and any section of this surface. The results are also generated as text files. The files also calculate the thermal expansion coefficients in any [u, v, w] direction and at any temperature, and the angles between the principal axes and the crystallographic axes. The user can modify the input text files to their requirements. The calculations have been checked with calculated diffractograms at different temperatures for a triclinic, monoclinic and tetragonal phase. The calculated coefficients have been compared with previous works and show good agreement. In this paper, Modified Multi-scale Segmentation Network (MMUSNet) method is proposed for Tamil text recognition. Handwritten texts from digital writing pad notes are used for text recognition. Handwritten words recognition for texts written from digital writing pad through text file conversion are challenging due to stylus pressure, writing on glass frictionless surfaces, and being less skilled in short writing, alphabet size, style, carved symbols, and orientation angle variations. Stylus pressure on the pad changes the words in the Tamil language alphabet because the Tamil alphabets have a smaller number of lines, angles, curves, and bends. The small change in dots, curves, and bends in the Tamil alphabet leads to error in recognition and changes the meaning of the words because of wrong alphabet conversion. However, handwritten English word recognition and conversion of text files from a digital writing pad are performed through various algorithms such as Support Vector Machine (SVM), Kohonen Neural Network (KNN), and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) for offline and online alphabet recognition. The proposed algorithms are compared with above algorithms for Tamil word recognition. Browser fingerprinting is a very interesting topic in the industry of technology security. New technology will always raise new security issues and browser fingerprinting will undoubtedly follow the same process. It has become one of the most popular topics in online privacy because, to date, there is still no exact solution as to how to stop it entirely. The majority of solutions just aim to reduce the likelihood of obtaining a browser fingerprint. Research on browser fingerprinting is unquestionably required since it is essential to educate users, developers, policymakers, and law enforcement about it so that they can make strategic choices based on knowledge. Browser fingerprinting must be recognised in order to defend against privacy problems. A browser fingerprint is described as data gathered by the receiving server to identify a distant device, and it is different from cookies. Websites frequently utilize browser fingerprinting to obtain information about the type and version of the browser, as well as the operating system, and other current settings. It has been known that even when cookies are disabled, fingerprints can be used to fully or partially identify users or devices. In this communication paper, a new insight into the challenge of browser fingerprint is encouraged as a new venture. Thus, the initial way to truly understand the browser fingerprint is the need to collect browser fingerprints. In this work, the process of data collection for browser fingerprinting through scripting, to offer a complete all-in-one fingerprinting test suite, has been thoughtfully divided into appropriate sections and grouped with key information to be carried out. The objective is to gather fingerprint data with no personal identification information and make it an open source of raw datasets in the industry for any future research purposes. To our best knowledge, there are no open datasets made available for browser fingerprints in the research field. The dataset will be widely accessible by anyone interested in obtaining those data. Covert communication channels are a concept in which a policy-breaking method is used in order to covertly transmit data from inside an organization to an external or accessible point. VoIP and Video systems are exposed to such attacks on different layers, such as the underlying real-time transport protocol (RTP) which uses Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) or User Datagram Protocol (UDP) packet streams to punch a hole through Network address translation (NAT). This paper presents different innovative attack methods utilizing covert communication and RTP channels to spread malware or to create a data leak channel between different organizations. The demonstrated attacks are based on a UDP punch hole created using Skype peer-to-peer video conferencing communication. The different attack methods were successfully able to transmit a small text file in an undetectable manner by observing the communication channel, and without causing interruption to the audio/video channels or creating a noticeable disturbance to the quality. While these attacks are hard to detect by the eye, we show that applying classical Machine Learning algorithms to detect these covert channels on statistical features sampled from the communication channel is effective for one type of attack. Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a popular mlobile network that facilitates more emergency services. However, achieving a high quality of service (QoS) and less energy consumption in MANETs remains a challenge owing to their ad hoc nature. To address these shortcomings, this paper designed a stable zone-based 5G clustered MANET environment.. The integration of the MANET with 5G communication aims to yield a high data rate while reducing the latency and cost. This study comprises four major processes, namely, the stable zone-based clustering, Grey-Dematel (GD) gateway selection, adaptive buffer management, and interest-region-based routing. Primarily, mobile nodes are gathered to form a stable cluster, which is vital in frequent topology-changing environments such as MANETs by strawberry optimization algorithm. A gateway is selected to provide 5G multimedia access to MANET users, and the GD algorithm is used to select an optimum gateway (5G user) from among the nearby 5G users of the current CH. The adaptive buffer management (ABM) method is used to reduce congestion in the CH node. ABM manages the buffer through adaptive time division multiple access scheduling, where video files are prioritized over audio/text files. Interest-region-based routing is performed among the users of MANET to reduce the delay and loss. Furthermore, the discrete interval type 2 improved fuzzy function algorithm is used to discover an optimum path in the interest region, which is formed by the angle between the source and destination. The proposed method is implemented using Network Simulator 3.26 (NS3.26). The results indicate that the proposed method improves the packet delivery ratio and throughput metrics by 30% and reduces the end-to-end delay, jitter, and packet loss ratio by 35% when compared to existing methods such as AERP, MCQR, and M-AODV. This paper presents the R Analyzer for Large-Scale Assessments (RALSA), a newly developed R package for analyzing data from studies using complex sampling and assessment designs. Such studies are, for example, the IEA's Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study and the OECD's Programme for International Student Assessment. The package covers all cycles from a broad range of studies. The paper presents the architecture of the package, the overall workflow and illustrates some basic analyses using it. The package is open-source and free of charge. Other software packages for analyzing large-scale assessment data exist, some of them are proprietary, others are open-source. However, RALSA is the first comprehensive R package, designed for the user experience and has some distinctive features. One innovation is that the package can convert SPSS data from large scale assessments into native R data sets. It can also do so for PISA data from cycles prior to 2015, where the data is provided in tab-delimited text files along with SPSS control syntax files. Another feature is the availability of a graphical user interface, which is also written in R and operates in any operating system where a full copy of R can be installed. The output from any analysis function is written into an MS Excel workbook with multiple sheets for the estimates, model statistics, analysis information and the calling syntax itself for reproducing the analysis in future. The secret information may be compromised for the lack of security and concealment in conventional covert communication. Blockchain is a suitable platform for establishing covert channels to protect the secret information, due to its features of anti-tamper, anti-forgery, anonymity, and information synchronization. However, the cost of storing large files in the blockchain is too high. To solve the above problems, we propose a double steganography model which combines blockchain and interplanetary file system (IPFS) in this paper. The model consists of two parts: image steganography and plain text steganography. In image steganography, the model embeds secret information into the original image using the least significant bit (LSB) algorithm based on RSA encryption. Then the image is stored in IPFS that returns the hash value. In plain text steganography, the model embeds the hash value into plain text files by the whitespace method based on partial order. Then those files are transmitted through blockchain network covert channels. Any node can obtain the files as the receiver. But only the trusted party can extract the secret information through the inverse process of embedding. The Chesapeake Bay is a region along the eastern coast of the United States where sea-level rise is confounded with poorly resolved rates of land subsidence, thus new constraints on vertical land motions (VLM) in the region are warranted. In this paper, we provide a description of two campaign-style Global Positioning System (GPS) datasets, explain the methods used in data collection and validation, and present the experiment designed to quantify a new baseline of VLM in the Chesapeake Bay region of eastern North America. Data from GPS campaigns in 2019 and 2020 are presented as ASCII RINEX2.11 files and logsheets for each observation from the campaigns. Data were quality checked using the open-source program TEQC, resulting in average multipath 1 and 2 values of 0.68 and 0.57, respectively. Data security can involve embedding hidden images, text, audio, or video files within other media to prevent hackers from stealing encrypted data. Existing mechanisms suffer from a high risk of security breaches or large computational costs, however. The method proposed in this work incorporates low-complexity encryption and steganography mechanisms to enhance security during transmission while lowering computational complexity. In message encryption, it is recommended that text file data slicing in binary representation, to achieve different lengths of string, be conducted before text file data masking based on the lightweight Lucas series and mod function to ensure the retrieval of text messages is impossible. The steganography algorithm starts by generating a random key stream using a hybrid of two low-complexity chaotic maps, the Tent map and the Ikeda map. By finding a position vector parallel to the input image vector, these keys are used based on the previously generated position vector to randomly select input image data and create four vectors that can be later used as input for the Lah transform. In this paper, we present an approach for hiding encrypted text files using LSB colour image steganography by applying a low-complexity XOR operation to the most significant bits in 24-bit colour cover images. It is necessary to perform inverse Lah transformation to recover the image pixels and ensure that invisible data cannot be retrieved in a particular sequence. Evaluation of the quality of the resulting stego-images and comparison with other ways of performing encryption and message concealment shows that the stego-image has a higher PSNR, a lower MSE, and an SSIM value close to one, illustrating the suitability of the proposed method.
