The paper is focused on the assessment and analysis of slope stability. Slope stability analysis are generally aimed at determining the factor of slope stability for which the slope is safe. The key design parameters for assessment of slope stability are the shear stress parameters of soil. The aim of the parametric study was assessment and analysis the slope stability in fine-grained soil and point to the influence of shear strength parameters and change height of slope on the resulting factor of safety. According to this parametric study we can also monitor which of these parameters has a more significant effect on the resulting factor of safety. The results points to a decrease in the differences in the values of the calculated degrees of stability with respect to the increasing height of the slope, and also that this decrease is more pronounced when the cohesion of the soil changes.
