Three-dimensional (3D) mineral prospectivity mapping (MPM) uses mathematical models to integrate different types of 3D data related to mineralization to obtain mineral prospectivity information in 3D space. Existing geological data contain known deposits, non-deposits and unknown ore-bearing data, corresponding to positive samples, negative samples and unlabeled samples respectively in MPM. Different sample combination types require different mathematical models. In this paper, support vector machine class (SVMC) machine learning method is selected to compare the influence of different sample combination types on prediction results. The SVMC is a one-class SVM (OCSVM) model based on positive-only samples, the SVM is based on both positive and negative samples, and the bagging-based positive-unlabeled learning algorithm with SVM base learner (BPUL-SVM) is based on both positive and unlabeled samples. The study area is in the Sanshandao-Cangshang offshore and onshore Au district, where there are Sanshandao, Cangshang and Xinli large- and super-large-scale Au deposits. Moreover, the discovery of large-scale Sea Au deposits in the sea area indicates the great potential for mineralization in the district. According to the metallogenic geological characteristics, the Au deposits in the Sanshandao-Cangshang district are controlled by the NE-striking fault and are closely related to the Linglong intrusions and Guojialing intrusions. The ore-bearing intrusion shows low density and low-moderate magnetic susceptibility. Because the Au orebodies hosted in the Sanshandao fault and its secondary faults, the NE-striking faults are key to delineating the targets. In this paper, weights of evidence (WofE), OCSVM, SVM and BPUL-SVM are used to MPM, and the prediction-area (P-A) plot method is used to delineate the targets. According to the ROC curve, F1 score and P-A plot evaluation methods, the model performance from high to low is BPUL-SVM13, SVM12, WofE and OCSVM. The BPUL-SVM model performance with samples combination types of positive samples and unlabeled samples was optimum in SVMC prediction models. The Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) simulation and return-risk evaluation model are used to evaluate the return and risk of the targets and finally determine the I-level targets with high return and low risk. The delineated targets are mainly distributed along the F2 and F3 faults (Sanshandao-Cangshang fault). Combined with the mineralization regularity, the deep and periphery space of the known deposits are important to explore Au orebodies. There are two technical challenges in predicting slope deformation. The first one is the random displacement, which could not be decomposed and predicted by numerically resolving the observed accumulated displacement and time series of a landslide. The second one is the dynamic evolution of a landslide, which could not be feasibly simulated simply by traditional prediction models. In this paper, a dynamic model of displacement prediction is introduced for composite landslides based on a combination of empirical mode decomposition with soft screening stop criteria (SSSC-EMD) and deep bidirectional long short-term memory (DBi-LSTM) neural network. In the proposed model, the time series analysis and SSSC-EMD are used to decompose the observed accumulated displacements of a slope into three components, viz. trend displacement, periodic displacement, and random displacement. Then, by analyzing the evolution pattern of a landslide and its key factors triggering landslides, appropriate influencing factors are selected for each displacement component, and DBi-LSTM neural network to carry out multi-data-driven dynamic prediction for each displacement component. An accumulated displacement prediction has been obtained by a summation of each component. For accuracy verification and engineering practicability of the model, field observations from two known landslides in China, the Xintan landslide and the Bazimen landslide were collected for comparison and evaluation. The case study verified that the model proposed in this paper can better characterize the "stepwise" deformation characteristics of a slope. As compared with long short-term memory (LSTM) neural network, support vector machine (SVM), and autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) model, DBi-LSTM neural network has higher accuracy in predicting the periodic displacement of slope deformation, with the mean absolute percentage error reduced by 3.063%, 14.913%, and 13.960% respectively, and the root mean square error reduced by 1.951 mm, 8.954 mm and 7.790 mm respectively. Conclusively, this model not only has high prediction accuracy but also is more stable, which can provide new insight for practical landslide prevention and control engineering. With the aging of the population, China has a large population base. The number of people suffering from mild cognitive impairment has gradually increased and gradually turned to senile dementia. The probability of mild cognitive impairment in China is about 5–7%, and about 15 million people are ill. To better distinguish mild cognitive impairment from Alzheimer's, this paper adopted the machine learning (ML) method to model. The evaluation table was established by considering the reaction time, education, background, memory, and other aspects of the patient. Machine learning has been applied in the fields of the Internet, finance, medicine, automation, biological science, etc. Through the machine learning support vector machine (SVM) and linear regression, the classification accuracy was compared. The results showed that the classification accuracy of SVM was 87.92% under the ML algorithm. It also showed that ML was more conducive to classification and recognition, which has played an important role in the identification of mild cognitive impairment in the current aging population. Accurate delineation of debris-flow-endangered areas (e.g., the maximum runout distance) is a necessary prerequisite for the debris-flow risk assessment and countermeasures design. Recently, machine-learning models have been proved to be an effective tool in predicting debris-flow parameters. However, existing machine-learning models are generally developed based on a very limited number of observation data, which may result in the predictive model overfitting or underfitting. How to develop a robust model for accurate forecasting of debris-flow-endangered areas still remains a difficult task. This paper proposes a hybrid method for predicting debris-flow hazard zone by integrating machine-learning algorithms and an empirical regression model. The proposed method takes the calculated maximum runout distance obtained from the empirical model as supplementary inputs to increase the amount of training data to construct hybrid machine-learning models. Three commonly used machine-learning models (i.e., multivariate adaptive regression splines (MARS), random forest (RF), and support vector machine (SVM)) are developed based on the training datasets of a specific debris basin. Then, these three machine-learning models are combined with an empirical relationship developed using the same training datasets to generate corresponding hybrid models. Finally, the performance metrics (i.e., coefficient of determination (R2), root-mean-square error (RMSE), and mean absolute error (MAE)) of the proposed hybrid models are comprehensively investigated and compared with the single predictive model (i.e., MARS, RF, SVM, and the empirical model) under fivefold cross-validation. The proposed method is illustrated using 134 channelized debris-flow events in Sichuan province, China. Results show that compared with the three individual machine-learning models, hybridization of machine-learning algorithms and the empirical model results in R2, RMSE, and MAE improved by 70.5%, 32.9%, and 41.1%, respectively. In contrast to the empirical model, the R2, RMSE, and MAE value of the proposed hybrid models are improved by 29.6%, 22.3%, and 32.5%, respectively. The proposed hybrid models generally perform better than the single machine-learning and the empirical model, providing a promising tool for accurate forecasting of a debris-flow-endangered area. With the large-scale development of renewable energy power, China has faced with the challenges of the reverse regional distribution of wind and solar resources and power load, as well as the intermittency and randomness of renewable energy power. Therefore, China is vigorously developing ultra-high voltage direct current (UHVDC) transmission technology to solve the problem of insufficient flexibility caused by the uncertainty of renewable energy and the fluctuation of multi-energy loads in integrated community energy systems. UHVDC plays an increasingly pivotal role in the west-east transmission system in China's power system due to its high transmission capacity and long transmission distance. Once the fault occurs in the ultra-high voltage direct (UHVD) transmission line, quick and accurate fault location identification is of great significance. Hence, this paper proposes a UHVDC transmission line diagnosis method based on wavelet analysis for integrated community energy systems. Wavelet transform (WT) is used to decompose the transient signal on a multi-scale, and then power systems computer-aided design (PSCAD) software is utilized for simulation calculation to obtain the singular spectrum entropy of each layer and facilitate wavelet transformations for signal denoising with advanced tools such as MATLAB. The prediction results can distinguish outside the rectification side fault, within the rectification side fault, and outside the inverter fault with an accuracy of 100%. A large number of simulations demonstrate that combining singular spectrum entropy with support vector machines (SVM) has emerged as a robust technique for integrated community energy systems, suggesting its potential as a standard method in UHVDC transmission line diagnosis. The convolutional neural networks used widely in mineral prospectivity prediction usually perform mixed feature extraction for multichannel inputs. This results in redundant features and impacts further improvement of predictive performance. To solve this limitation, this paper utilized convolutional autoencoder networks to mine latent high-level features for each predictor variable in parallel to prevent the mixing of features and to enhance the feature mapping outcomes of each channel. Convolutional autoencoder networks, as unsupervised learning methods, can handle input images with high-dimensional features. They can train samples without differences such that the reconstructed outputs can restore inputs as accurately as possible to reduce the extraction of irrelevant feature information. Moreover, convolutional autoencoder networks focus on finding the fewest features for representing all inputs, and the extracted features express internal spatial relations at a high level. It is helpful to improve the performance of metallogenic prediction. Hence, this paper arranged these obtained features into one-dimensional vectors to establish the inputs of classifiers. Through modeling with four classifiers (logistic regression, support vector machine, artificial neural network, and random forest), we achieved different models for mineral prospectivity prediction. According to the comprehensive evaluations, the random forest model outperformed the other models. Taking the prediction of gold deposits in the Fengxian region of Southern Qinling in China as an example, the predictive capability of the proposed integrated method was shown to be effective and reliable. With the continuous expansion of urban scale in China, the increase of passenger flow has brought great pressure to the urban public transport system. An accurate and timely prediction of the short-term passenger flow at each metro station is extremely important for the metro intelligent control system to make a timely decision. In this paper, based on the measured passenger flow data of Zijingshan station of Zhengzhou Metro Line 1, an improved whale optimization algorithm is proposed to predict the passenger flow on different time scales. The results show that the method has higher accuracy than the traditional least squares support vector machines algorithm. Breast cancer is a cancer disease that seriously threatens women's health and occupies the first place in female cancer mortality. At present, the incidence rate of breast cancer in China is the first in the world and is on the rise. In view of the serious harm of breast cancer to life and health, researchers and institutions are making unremitting efforts to find a perfect diagnosis and treatment plan. With the improvement of computer performance and machine learning levels, intelligent algorithms have been able to replace human behavior and judgment in some fields. The traditional breast cancer diagnosis process requires medical experts to observe patient data repeatedly. In this case, the algorithm technology is used to quickly feedback a high probability reference result to doctors, which is particularly important to increase the diagnosis efficiency and reduce the burden of doctors. In order to improve the accuracy of existing breast cancer recognition methods, this paper proposes and implements a scheme based on a whale optimization algorithm to iteratively adjust the key parameters of the support vector machine to improve the accuracy of breast cancer recognition. In order to verify the performance of the WOA-SVM algorithm, this paper uses the Wisconsin breast cancer data in the UCI database for performance verification experiments. The rainfall can contribute significantly to landslide events, especially in hilly areas. The landslide susceptibility map (LSM) usually helps to mitigate disasters. However, how to accurately predict the susceptibility of landslides is still a difficult point in the field of disaster research. In this study, five advanced machine learning technologies (MLTs), including the Light Gradient Boosting Machine, extreme gradient boost, categorical boosting (CatBoost), support vector machine, and random forest, are utilized to landslide susceptibility modeling and their capabilities are compared through evaluation indicators. The northern part of Yanping, Fujian Province, China, is selected as the research object, because this area experienced mass landslide events due to extremely heavy rainfall in June 2010, resulting in many casualties and a large number of public facilities destroyed. The influencing factors for landslides, namely topographic, hydrological, geologic and human activities, are prepared from various data sources based on the availability. Through the analysis of the actual situation in the study area, 13 suitable landslide condition factors are considered and the availability of relevant factors is checked according to the multicollinearity test. The landslide inventory including 631 samples in this study area is obtained from historical information, satellite data in Google earth and performed field surveys. The landslide inventory is randomly divided into two datasets for model training and testing with a 7:3 ratio. The area under the curve of ROC, accuracy rate, Kappa index and F1 score are applied to compare the MLTs capabilities. In this paper, the results of factor importance analysis show that the first three important condition factors are the distance to faults, the distance to drainages and the slope. According to the LSMs, in the study area, the central and western regions are at high and very high landslide susceptibility levels, while almost all the eastern and northeastern regions are at medium and low landslide susceptibility levels. The CatBoost model is a very promising technology in landslide research according to the evaluation results, which means that for landslide susceptibility research, gradient boosting algorithms may get more accurate results and show better prospects in the future. In recent years, China has focused on the development of sports and adopted modern, scientific, and standardized management of referees. Global sports events are becoming increasingly fierce. One of the main links is to manage the referee group and ensure the fairness and impartiality of sports competitions. In sports competition, referees implement sports rules, so the quality of referees directly determines whether sports events are fair and just. Cheerleading operation was introduced into China as a new sports event and spread rapidly in major universities and primary and secondary schools. With the increase of the number of cheerleading athletes, the number of referees also continues to increase. Referees' information management has become the main problem. Therefore, this paper uses data mining technology to design and develop cheerleading referee information management system, uses the system to manage the basic information of cheerleading referees, and analyzes the sanction ability and strength of cheerleading referees. This paper first introduces the basic concept and operational process of data mining algorithm, and C4.5 decision tree algorithm, and support vector machine algorithm. Based on this algorithm, a cheerleading referee information management system is established. Then, we analyze the system structure and demand analysis and design the main structure of the system. Finally, the number of cheerleading referees is analyzed. The highest proportion of referees is 29.5%, the number of referees is 3 to 5 times, and the highest proportion of referees with more than 10 times per year is 59.24%. In 2014, the production volume of green and intelligent vehicles in China was 3,675, and the sales volume was 2,790. The development of green and intelligent vehicles is not very good and has not been fully accepted by the public. However, since 2017, the production and sales of green and intelligent vehicles have been slowly increasing. By 2020, the production of green and intelligent vehicles will be 24,360 and the sales will be 24,090. In China, the application of corpus in language teaching, especially in English and American literature teaching, is still in the preliminary research stage, and there are various shortcomings, which have not been paid due attention by front-line educators. Constructing English and American literature corpus according to certain principles can effectively promote English and American literature teaching. The research of this paper is devoted to how to automatically build a corpus of English and American literature. In the process of keyword extraction, key phrases and keywords are effectively combined. The similarity between atomic events is calculated by the TextRank algorithm, and then the first N sentences with high similarity are selected and sorted. Based on ML (machine learning) text classification method, a combined classifier based on SVM (support vector machine) and NB (Naive Bayes) is proposed. The experimental results show that, from the point of view of accuracy and recall, the classification effect of the combined algorithm proposed in this paper is the best among the three methods. The best classification results of accuracy, recall, and F value are 0.87, 0.9, and 0.89, respectively. Ponds constitute a pivotal component of aquatic ecosystems. The aquatic ecosystem of the Huai River Basin (HRB) in China was once damaged by severe pollution, and numerous ponds in the basin have not been secured. In this paper, Shenqiu County, a typical county in HRB with many ponds, is selected. Based on high-resolution images with ALOS in 2010, GF-2 in 2016, and GF-1 in 2022, we employed discriminant analysis (DA), classification and regression tree, support vector machine, and random forest to extract the ponds based on object-oriented and further analyzed the spatial-temporal variations of the ponds in this county. The results of the DA in these three years exhibited a higher kappa coefficient (>0.7), and overall accuracy (>75%), signifying superior performance when compared to the other three methods. There were 4625, 5315, and 4748 ponds in 2010, 2016, and 2022, with a total area of 12.87, 11.99, and 9.37 km2, respectively. The number of ponds had a trend of rising in the initial period (2010–2016) and falling later (2016–2022), while the total area revealed a continuous decline. Meanwhile, these ponds showed a clustering phenomenon with three main clustering areas, and the scope of the clustering areas also changed to a certain extent from 2010 to 2022. Our study offers valuable methodological support for the ecological monitoring and management of water environments in regions characterized by a dense concentration of ponds. The rapid and precise acquisition of the agricultural plastic greenhouse (PG) spatial distribution is essential in understanding PG usage and degradation, ensuring agricultural production, and protecting the ecological environment and human health. It is of great practical significance to realize the effective utilization of remote sensing images in the agricultural field and improve the extraction accuracy of PG remote sensing data. In this study, Landsat operational land imager (OLI) remote sensing images were used as data sources, and Shandong Province, which has the largest PG distribution in China, was selected as the study area. PGs in the study area were identified by means of contour recognition, feature set construction of the spatial structure, and machine learning. The results were as follows. (1) Through an optimal segmentation parameter approach, it was determined that the optimal segmentation scale for size, shape, and compactness should be set at 20, 0.8, and 0.5, respectively, which significantly improved PG contour recognition. (2) Among the 72 feature variables for PG spatial recognition, the number of features and classification accuracy showed a trend of first gradually increasing and then decreasing. Among them, fifteen feature variables, including the mean of bands 2 and 5; six index features (NDWI, GNDVI, SWIR1_NIR, NDVI, and PMLI); two shape features, the density and shape index; and two texture features, the contrast and standard deviation, played an important role. (3) According to the recall rate, accuracy rate, and F-value of three machine learning methods, random forest (RDF), CART decision tree (CART), and support vector machine (SVM), SVM had the best classification effect. The classification method described in this paper can accurately extract continuous plastic greenhouses through remote sensing images and provide a reference for the application of facility agriculture and non-point-source pollution control. This paper aims to explore several ways to construct a scientific and comprehensive early warning system (EWS) for local government debt risk in China. In order to achieve this goal, this paper studies the local government debt risk from multiple perspectives, i.e., individual risk, contagion risk, static risk and dynamic risk. Firstly, taking China's 30 provinces over the period of 2010~ 2018 as a sample, this paper establishes early warning indicators for individual risk of local government debt, and uses the network model to establish early warning indicators for contagion risk of local government debt. Then, this paper applies the criteria importance though intercrieria correlation (CRITIC) method and coefficient of variation method to obtain the proxy variable Ⅰ, which combines the above two risks. Secondly, based on the proxy variable Ⅰ, both the Markov-switching autoregressive (MS-AR) model and coefficient of variation method are used to obtain the proxy variable Ⅱ, which comprehensively considers the individual risk, contagion risk, static risk and dynamic risk of local government debt. Finally, machine learning algorithms are adopted to generalize the EWS designed in this paper. Modeling the heat released from a burning wildfire is essential to support an accurate representation of the heat flux of wildfire. At present, the commonly used heat model is combustion heat modeling in the wildfire spread model of DEVS-FIRE. DEVS-FIRE employs Rothermel's model to calculate the rate of fire spread, but it is poorly suitable for the actual situation in China. Forest fire spreading is a dynamic and complex system. In the process of spreading, the heat released by forest fire will affect the weather conditions in the current fire area, and the weather conditions such as temperature, humidity, wind speed and wind direction are the important factors affecting the spread of forest fire in turn. Therefore, the interaction between heat and weather conditions must be considered in order to accurately predict the spread of forest fires. This paper proposes heat model based on Zhengfei Wang's wildfire spread model. The heat model was used to fuse with the weather model, and the information was fused based on the hybrid orthogonal genetic algorithm (HOGA) and support vector machine (SVM). Corn thrips do serious harm to the yield and quality of corn. In this paper, the Shandong Province of China was taken as the study area. Based on the data of the occurrence of corn thrips in Shandong Province, a risk regionalization model was established by using eight indicators under four categories of hazard, sensitivity, vulnerability and the disaster prevention and mitigation capacity of diseases and pests on a monthly time scale. Firstly, the cloud model was introduced to determine the weight of each indicator, and then the risk regionalization of the corn thrips disaster in Shandong Province was carried out using the weighted percentage method, the weighted comprehensive evaluation method and the natural disaster risk index method. Finally, combined with the collected data, the disaster prediction of corn thrip occurrence degree was realized based on multiple linear regression, genetic algorithm optimized back-propagation neural network and genetic algorithm optimized support vector machine methods. The results show that: (1) the risk of Corn thrips disaster is mainly concentrated in the central and western parts of Shandong Province. Heze City is a high-risk area. Liaocheng City, Dezhou City, Jinan City and Weifang City are relatively high-risk areas. (2) By comparing the prediction accuracy of the three models, it was determined that the genetic algorithm optimized support vector machine model has the best effect, with an average accuracy of 79.984%, which is 7.013% and 22.745% higher than that of the multiple linear regression and genetic algorithm optimized back-propagation neural network methods, respectively. Selecting the best planting area for blueberries is an essential issue in agriculture. To better improve the effectiveness of blueberry cultivation, a machine learning-based classification model for blueberry ecological suitability was proposed for the first time and its validation was conducted by using multi-source environmental features data in this paper. The sparrow search algorithm (SSA) was adopted to optimize the CatBoost model and classify the ecological suitability of blueberries based on the selection of data features. Firstly, the Borderline-SMOTE algorithm was used to balance the number of positive and negative samples. The Variance Inflation Factor and information gain methods were applied to filter out the factors affecting the growth of blueberries. Subsequently, the processed data were fed into the CatBoost for training, and the parameters of the CatBoost were optimized to obtain the optimal model using SSA. Finally, the SSA-CatBoost model was adopted to classify the ecological suitability of blueberries and output the suitability types. Taking a study on a blueberry plantation in Majiang County, Guizhou Province, China as an example, the findings demonstrate that the AUC value of the SSA-CatBoost-based blueberry ecological suitability model is 0.921, which is 2.68% higher than that of the CatBoost (AUC = 0.897) and is significantly higher than Logistic Regression (AUC = 0.855), Support Vector Machine (AUC = 0.864), and Random Forest (AUC = 0.875). Furthermore, the ecological suitability of blueberries in Majiang County is mapped according to the classification results of different models. When comparing the actual blueberry cultivation situation in Majiang County, the classification results of the SSA-CatBoost model proposed in this paper matches best with the real blueberry cultivation situation in Majiang County, which is of a high reference value for the selection of blueberry cultivation sites. To better prevent the potential risks in Internet-based Supply Chain Financing (SCF) products, this paper optimizes and evaluates the Internet-based SCF-oriented Credit Risk Evaluation (CRE) method. Firstly, this paper summarizes 12 risk factors of SCF business, establishes a Risk Assessment Index System (RAIS) with good consistency and stability; then, the principles of Backpropagation (BP) Neural Network (NN) is expounded together with Support Vector Machines (SVM) and Genetic Algorithm (GA) model. Consequently, a CRE model is implemented by the NN tools in MATLAB based on the collection of multiple groups of SCF-oriented risk assessment samples. Subsequently, the assessment samples are trained and tested. Finally, the SCF-oriented CRE model is proposed and verified. The results show that the BP-GA model has presented high prediction consistency with the actual classification. According to the comparison of classification results of SVM, BP model, and BP-GA model, the classification accuracy of test samples of the proposed Internet-based SCF-oriented CRE system using BP-GA model reaches 97.19%; the Type I and Type II error rate of the CRE system based on BP-GA model is 7.2% and 14.21%, respectively. Therefore, a suitable SCF-oriented CRE method is put forward for China's commercial banks along with scientific and feasible suggestions to manage SCF-oriented credit risks more reasonably and effectively. The risk evaluation indexes of goaf are multi-source and have complex mutual internal correlations, and there are great differences in the risk identification of goaf from different mines among the various influencing factors. This paper mainly focuses on principal component analysis (PCA) and the differential evolution algorithm (DE), while a multi-classification support vector machine (SVM) is adopted to classify the risks of goaf. Then, the K-fold cross-validation method is used to prevent the overfitting of selection in the model. After the analysis, nine factors affecting the risk identification of goaf in a certain area of East China were determined as the primary influencing factors, and 120 measured goafs were taken as examples for classifying the risks. More specifically, the classification results show that: (1) SVM has the useful ability of generalization, especially when solving the problems of overfitting, and it is easy to fall into the local minima under the conditions of small samples; (2) PCA is employed to realize the intelligent dimensionality reduction and denoising of multi-source impact indicators for goaf risk identification, which immensely improves the prediction accuracy and classification efficiency of the model; (3) after using the DE, the optimal solutions of the problems to be optimized are automatically obtained through the global optimization search mechanism, namely, the kernel function parameter, 'γ', and the penalty factor, 'C', of the SVM, which further verifies that the characteristics of clear logic, strong convergence, and good robustness can be found in the DE. With the increase in the number of cardiovascular patients in China, this paper must use better detection methods to examine these patients. Blood lipid testing is a quantitative method for the determination of lipids contained in blood (plasma). Blood lipids are the general term for neutral fats (triglycerides and cholesterol) and lipids (phospholipids, glycolipids, sterols, and steroids) in plasma, which are widely present in the human body. At the same time, this paper also applies this technology to different examination procedures at various current stages. Cardiovascular disease, also known as circulatory system disease, is a series of diseases involving the circulatory system. The circulatory system refers to the organs and tissues that transport blood in the human body, mainly including the heart and blood vessels (arteries, veins, and microvessels), which can be subdivided into acute and chronic and are generally related to arteriosclerosis. In recent years, the most widely used is blood lipid measurement. Therefore, this paper proposes a study on the safety evaluation and effect analysis of blood lipid testing in the diagnosis of cardiovascular disease patients. This article focuses on the causes of cardiovascular disease and introduces the purpose, methods, results, and conclusions of blood lipid detection. Combined with the deep learning method combined with wavelet analysis and support vector machine (SVM), the in-depth analysis is carried out, and suitable patients are selected for blood lipid detection. The final experimental results showed that apolipoprotein B (APOB), total cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), triglyceride (TG), and other indicators were significantly different from the control group. The values of apolipoprotein A1 (APOA1) and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) were significantly different from those in the control group, P < 0.05. It is of great significance to monitor sea ice for relieving and preventing sea ice disasters. In this paper, the growth and development of sea ice in Liaodong Bay of Bohai Sea in China were monitored using Sentinel-2 remote sensing data during the freezing period from January to March in 2018. Based on the comprehensive analysis of the spectral characteristics of seawater and sea ice in visible bands, supplemented by the Normalized Difference Snow Index (NDSI) and the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), we proposed a new method based on decision tree classification for extracting sea ice types in Liaodong Bay of Bohai Sea. Using the remote sensing data of eight satellite overpasses acquired from Sentinel-2A/B satellites, the distribution and area of the different sea ice types in Liaodong Bay during the freezing period of 2017/2018 were obtained. Compared with the maximum likelihood (ML) classification method and the support vector machine (SVM) classification method, the proposed method has higher accuracy when discriminating the sea ice types, which proved the new method proposed in this paper is suitable for extracting sea ice types from Sentinel-2 optical remote sensing data in Liaodong Bay. And its classification accuracy reaches 88.05%. The whole process of evolution such as the growth and development of sea ice in Liaodong Bay during the freezing period from January to March in 2018 was monitored. The maximum area of sea ice was detected on 27 January 2018, about 10,187 km2. At last, the quantitative relationship model between the sea ice area and the mean near-surface temperature derived by MODIS data in Liaodong Bay was established. Among the critical global crises curbing world development and sustainability, air quality degradation has been a long-lasting and increasingly urgent one and it has been sufficiently proven to pose severe threats to human health and social welfare. A higher level of model prediction accuracy can play a fundamental role in air quality assessment and enhancing human well-being. In this paper, four types of machine learning models—random forest model, ridge regression model, support vector machine model, extremely randomized trees model—were adopted to predict PM2.5 concentration in ten cities in the Jing-Jin-Ji region of north China based on multi-sources spatiotemporal data including air quality and meteorological data in time series. Data were fed into the model by using the rolling prediction method which is proven to improve prediction accuracy in our experiments. Lastly, the comparative experiments show that at the city level, RF and ExtraTrees models have better predictive results with lower mean absolute error (MAE), root mean square error (RMSE), and higher index of agreement (IA) compared to other selected models. For seasonality, level four models all have the best prediction performances in winter time and the worst in summer time, and RF models have the best prediction performance with the IA ranging from 0.93 to 0.98 with an MAE of 5.91 to 11.68 μg/m3. Timely and accurate extraction of crop planting structure information is of great importance for food security and sustainable agricultural development. However, long time series data with high spatial resolution have a much larger data volume, which seriously limits the quality and efficiency of the application of remote sensing to agriculture in complex crop rotation areas. To address this problem, this paper takes Lujiang County, a typical complex crop rotation region in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River in China as an example, and proposes utilizing the Google Earth Engine (GEE) platform to extract the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), Normalized Difference Yellowness Index (NDYI) and Vertical-Horizontal Polarization (VH) time series sets of the whole planting year, and combining the Simple Non-Iterative Clustering (SNIC) multi-scale segmentation with the Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Random Forest (RF) algorithms to realize the fast and high-quality planting information of the main crop rotation patterns in the complex rotation region. The results show that by combining time series and object-oriented methods, SVM leads to better improvement than RF, with its overall accuracy and Kappa coefficient increasing by 4.44% and 0.0612, respectively, but RF is more suitable for extracting the planting structure in complex crop rotation areas. The RF algorithm combined with time series object-oriented extraction (OB + T + RF) achieved the highest accuracy, with an overall accuracy and Kappa coefficient of 98.93% and 0.9854, respectively. When compared to the pixel-oriented approach combined with the Support Vector Machine algorithm based on multi-temporal data (PB + M + SVM), the proposed method effectively reduces the presence of salt-and-pepper noise in the results, resulting in an improvement of 6.14% in overall accuracy and 0.0846 in Kappa coefficient. The research results can provide a new idea and a reliable reference method for obtaining crop planting structure information efficiently and accurately in complex crop rotation areas. With the process of urbanization in China, the urban waterlogging caused by rainstorms occurs frequently and often leads to serious damage to the natural environment, human life, and the city economy. Rapid detection of rainstorm and urban waterlogging disasters is an essential step to minimize these losses. Weibo, a popular microblog service in China, can provide many real-time Weibo posts for rapid detection. In this paper, we propose a method to identify microblogs with rainstorm and waterlogging information and apply them to waterlogging risk assessment. After pre-processing the microblog texts, we evaluate the performance of clustering (k -means) and classification (support vector machine, SVM) algorithms in the classification task. Apart from word vector features, we also introduce sentiment and publisher features for more real-time and accurate results. Furthermore, we build a waterlogging intensity dictionary to assess the waterlogging risk from the Weibo texts and produce a risk map with ArcGIS. To examine the efficacy of this approach, we collect Weibo data from two rainstorms and waterlogging disasters in Beijing city as examples. The results indicate that the SVM algorithm can be applied for a real-time rainstorm and waterlogging information detection. Compared to official-authentication and personal-certification users, the microblogs posted by general users can better indicate the intensity and timing of rainstorms. The location of waterlogging points is consistent with the risk assessment results, which proves our proposed risk assessment method can be used as a reference for timely emergency response. Actively responding to population aging has become the new national condition of China's aging society in the new era. To do a good job of actively coping with aging in the new era, it is necessary to take multiple measures and work together on the basis of clarifying the major realities and problems faced by China's aging society. From the perspective of big data technology, this paper systematically studies the concerns of China's aging through the method of artificial intelligence. In addition, with two typical aging indicators, three coupled intelligent algorithms are introduced in this paper. The prediction results show that the multi-dimensional support vector machine optimized by the immune algorithm shows good advantages compared with the other two algorithms. China's financial market also faces some outstanding problems, namely, obvious structural imbalance in the size of the financial market, on the one hand, the absolute dominance of the size of the indirect financing market, mainly the bank lending market and on the other hand, the imbalance in the size of the direct financing market and the indirect financing market. At the same time, there is also a structural imbalance of the financial market among regions in China. How to verify the objective existence of such structural imbalance in different regions and measure the difference in the level of financial market development among regions is the focus of this paper. This paper constructs a financial market development level indicator system from three dimensions, equity market, bond market, and lending market, and measures the financial market development level by using inter-provincial panel data from 2001 to 2020 through neural network algorithm, time series model, and support vector machine algorithm, and analyzes the regional heterogeneity of financial market development on this basis. The results show that the overall market level of the financial industry in the eastern coastal region of China is the highest, but the intra-regional differences are also the most obvious; the overall market level of the financial industry in the northeastern region of China is the lowest, and the differences with the eastern region rise significantly; the market level of the financial industry at the provincial level in the central and eastern regions shows an all-time decreasing trend, while the western and northeastern regions of China show a convergence, then divergence, and then convergence trend. Therefore, differentiated financial policies should be implemented according to the stage of regional development in order to enhance the financial development level of each economic region and gradually narrow the regional financial development gap. High precision ionospheric Total Electron Content(TEC) prediction is of great significance for improving the accuracy of Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS), preventing natural disasters, and ensuring wireless communication. Given the varying frequencies of TEC signals, a hybrid CEEMDAN-BiLSTM-PSO-LSSVM-FE model for predicting ionospheric TEC content is proposed in this paper. Firstly, complete ensemble empirical mode decomposition with adaptive noise (CEEMDAN) is used to decompose the extracted hourly TEC sequence and calculate the fuzzy entropy (FE) of the subsequences. Then, the signal is divided into high-frequency and low-frequency parts based on the fuzzy entropy value, for the high-frequency component, Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory network (BiLSTM) is used for prediction; for the low-frequency component, Particle Swarm Optimization-based Least Squares Support Vector Machine (PSO-LSSVM) is used for prediction. The hourly TEC values collected from six evenly distributed GPS stations in China are used as the main input variable for the proposed model, with solar and geomagnetic activity data used as auxiliary data, using the TEC data from the previous 48 h to forecast the TEC content for the next hour. The performance of the model is evaluated by comparing it with other models under different geographical locations, seasons, solar and geomagnetic activity conditions. Experimental results show that the proposed hybrid model outperforms other models, with a correlation coefficient R2 and root mean square error (RMSE) of 0.99 and 0.20 TECU, respectively. The increasing availability of data, gathered by sensors and intelligent machines, is changing the way decisions are made in the manufacturing sector. In particular, based on predictive approach and facilitated by the nowadays growing capabilities of hardware, cloud-based solutions, and new learning approaches, maintenance can be scheduled—over cell engagement and resource monitoring—when required, for minimizing (or managing) unexpected equipment failures, improving uptime through less aggressive maintenance schedules, shortening unplanned downtime, reducing excess (direct and indirect) cost, reducing long-term damage to machines and processes, and improve safety plans. With access to increased levels of data (and over learning mechanisms), companies have the capability to conduct statistical tests using machine learning algorithms, in order to uncover root causes of problems previously unknown. This study analyses the maturity level and contributions of machine learning methods for predictive maintenance. An upward trend in publications for predictive maintenance using machine learning techniques was identified with the USA and China leading. A mapping study—steady set until early 2019 data—was employed as a formal and well-structured method to synthesize material and to report on pervasive areas of research. Type of equipment, sensors, and data are mapped to properly assist new researchers in positioning new research activities in the domain of smart maintenance. Hence, in this paper, we focus on data-driven methods for predictive maintenance (PdM) with a comprehensive survey on applications and methods until, for the sake of commenting on stable proposal, 2019 (early included). An equal repartition between evaluation and validation studies was identified, this being a symptom of an immature but growing research area. In addition, the type of contribution is mainly in the form of models and methodologies. Vibrational signal was marked as the most used data set for diagnosis in manufacturing machinery monitoring; furthermore, supervised learning is reported as the most used predictive approach (ensemble learning is growing fast). Neural networks, followed by random forests and support vector machines, were identified as the most applied methods encompassing 40% of publications, of which 67% related to deep neural network with long short-term memory predominance. Notwithstanding, there is no robust approach (no one reported optimal performance over different case tests) that works best for every problem. In recent years, sports have achieved rapid development worldwide, and the global economy has been significantly improved and improved. With the in-depth development of the two, the connection between sports and the economy has also become closer. Sports economy is a new type of economic form bred by specialization of sports organization, participation in consumerization, and profit-oriented operation under the condition of market economy. And the development of sports economy cannot be developed at once; it needs healthy and sustainable development. In order to find a better way to study the healthy and sustainable development of sports economy, this paper uses deep learning network algorithm and supports vector machine learning algorithm to build a mental model. It then uses the model to analyze various indicators of the sports industry in a province in China. This article is looking for information and summarizes the province's sports data from 2017 to 2021. The sports indicators of this experiment include regional GDP, total output of sports industry, sports practitioners, local financial sports expenditures, the number of policies, the number of people participating in physical exercise, and fitness venues and facilities. The realization results show that these variables develop at a relatively small rate under normal conditions, and then predict the data in the next few years under the healthy and sustainable development of the next few years through the mental model. This paper presents a model for predicting the water temperature of the reservoir incorporating with solar radiation to analyze and evaluate the water temperature of large high-altitude reservoirs in western China. Through mutual information inspection, the model shows that the dependent variable has a good correlation with water temperature, and it is added to the sample feature training model. Then, the measured water temperature data in the reservoir for many years are used to establish the support vector regression (SVR) model, and genetic algorithm (GA) is introduced to optimize the parameters, so as to construct an improved support vector machine (M-GASVR). At the same time, root-mean-square error, mean absolute error, mean absolute percentage error, and Nash–Sutcliffe efficiency coefficient are used as the criteria for evaluating the performance of SVR model, ANN model, GA-SVR model, and M-GASVR model. In addition, the M-GASVR model is used to simulate the water temperature of the reservoir under different working conditions. The results show that ANN model is the worst among the four models, while GA-SVR model is better than SVR model in terms of metric, and M-GASVR model is the best. For non-stationary sequences, the prediction model M-GASVR can well predict the vertical water temperature and water temperature structure in the reservoir area. Long-distance oil pipelines consume extensive energy during the operation. Accurate prediction of pipeline's energy consumption is the basis of intelligent management and energy-saving plan. This work demonstrates an effective data-driven model to predict a pipeline's energy consumption. The model first extracts features through correlation analyses and then uses a hybrid support vector machine for prediction. In the hybrid model, the fruit fly optimizer, simulated annealing algorithm, and cross factor are fused to form an improved fruit fly optimizer used to optimize the traditional support vector machine. The proposed model is tested on a pipeline in China, and the results indicate that the model has a high prediction accuracy (prediction accuracy is measured by one minus mean absolute percentage error, and the accuracy exceeds 80%). Compared with the three benchmark models, the accuracy of the proposed model is increased by 4.18%–25.47%. This paper discusses the influence of the kernel function on the prediction. The results show that the support vector machines with radial basis kernel function and polynomial kernel function perform well in Dataset I, while support vector machines with radial basis kernel function, polynomial kernel function, and linear kernel function perform almost the same in Dataset II. Moreover, this paper also discusses the input of the model on a deeper level. In recent years, the rapid monitoring of total organic carbon (TOC) in natural waters has attracted increasing attention. Optical methods are a valid tool for measurement. Nevertheless, how to more accurately establish the mapping relationship between spectroscopy and TOC concentrations is currently a challenge. A new method based on UV-VIS spectroscopy with a deep convolutional network is proposed for the quantification of TOC in water in this paper. The Inception network, originally used to process two-dimensional image data, was redesigned as a model capable of processing one-dimensional spectral data, while the convolution and pooling scale were modified to adapt to one-dimensional data. Simultaneously, squeeze and extraction (SE) blocks were applied to the designed network to enhance feature information and to suppress interference from useless information in the regression process. The method was tested on samples collected from the sea and river estuaries in several provinces in China. When compared to the classical least squares support vector machine (LSSVM), the experimental results showed that the proposed 1D-Inception network structure can provide more accurate regression results. The SE block can significantly improve the feature extraction and expression capabilities of the 1D-Inception network structure and suppress redundant information, thereby achieving better model performance. Landslides frequently disrupt roadway networks in mountainous regions worldwide. Because of the relatively long roadway extension and low roadway density in mountainous regions, the occurrence of a landslide hazard along a local road segment will cause traffic paralysis on the individual roadway and will further impact regional roadway network accessibility. This paper establishes an integrative risk assessment framework based on risk theory and complex network theory to combine the results of landslide susceptibility mapping along roadways and impact assessment on the roadway network. Through an analysis of the relationship between various geo-environmental conditioning factors and historical landslides along roadways, the support vector machine (SVM) model is used to assess landslide susceptibility across the regional roadway network. Both topological connectivity of the entire roadway network and transport accessibility between local residents are considered in the impact assessment on roadway networks. To illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed risk assessment framework, a case study of the roadway network in Fengjie County, China, which is prone to landslide occurrence, is conducted. The resulting landslide risk heatmap of Fengjie County's roadway network is generated using ArcGIS software. The most critical road segments are identified as being highly susceptible to landslides, and if they are disrupted, the entire roadway network will suffer significant performance loss. The results can support adaptive strategies for landslide mitigation, preparedness, and emergency response services, as well as improve roadway plans to reduce exposure and associated consequences by adding new links to the existing roadway network. The glass relics are precious material evidence of the early trade and cultural exchange between the East and the West. To explore the cultural differences and trade development between early China and foreign countries, it is extremely important to classify glass cultural relics. Despite their similar appearances, Chinese glass contains more lead, while foreign glass contains more potassium. In view of this, this paper proposes a joint Daen-LR, ARIMA-LSTM, and MLR machine learning algorithm (JMLA) for the analysis and identification of the chemical composition of ancient glass. We separate the sampling points of ancient glass into two systems: lead-barium glass and high-potassium glass. Firstly, an improved logistic regression model based on a double adaptive elastic network (Daen-LR) is used to select variables with both Oracle and adaptive classification characteristics. Secondly, the ARIMA-LSTM model was used to establish the correlation curve of chemical composition before and after weathering and to predict the change in chemical composition with weathering. Thirdly, combining the data processed by the above two methods, a multiple linear regression model (MLR) is used to classify unknown glass products. It was shown that the sample obtained by this processing method has a very good fit. In comparison with other similar types of models like Decision Trees (DT), Random Forests (RF), Support Vector Machines (SVM), and Random Forests based on classification and regression trees (CART-RF), the classification accuracy of JMLA is 97.9% on the train set. The accuracy rate on the test set reached 97.6%. The results of the research demonstrate that JMLA can improve the accuracy of the glass type classification problem, greatly enhance the research efficiency of archaeological staff, and gain a more reliable result. To enhance the precision of fault diagnosis for high-voltage direct-current (HVDC) systems by effectively extracting various types of fault characteristics, a fault diagnosis method based on the long short-term memory network (LSTM) is proposed in this paper. The method relies on a knowledge graph platform and is developed using measured data from four fault types in an HVDC substation located in southwest China. Firstly, a knowledge graph for the HVDC systems is constructed, then the fault waveform data is preprocessed and divided into a training set and a test set. Various optimizers are employed to train and test the LSTM. The proposed strategy's accuracy is calculated and compared with recurrent neural network (RNN), eXtreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost), support vector machine (SVM), Naive Bayes classifier, probabilistic neural networks (PNN), and classification learner (CL), which are commonly used in fault diagnosis. Results indicate that the proposed method achieves an accuracy of over 95%, which is 30% higher than RNN, 8% higher than XGBoost, 4% higher than SVM, 7% higher than Naive Bayes, 40% higher than PNN, and 42% higher than classification learner (CL), respectively; the method also has the minimum time cost, fully demonstrating its superiority and effectiveness compared to other methods. Landslide susceptibility mapping of mountain roads is frequently confronted by insufficient historical landslide sample data, multicollinearity of existing evaluation index factors, and inconsistency of evaluation factors due to regional environmental variations. Then, a single machine learning model can easily become overfitting, thus reducing the accuracy and robustness of the evaluation model. This paper proposes a combined machine-learning model to address the issues. The landslide susceptibility in mountain roads were mapped by using factor analysis to normalize and reduce the dimensionality of the initial condition factor and generating six new combination factors as evaluation indexes. The mountain roads in the Youxi County, Fujian Province, China were used for the landslide susceptibility mapping. Three most frequently used machine learning techniques, support vector machine (SVM), random forest (RF), and artificial neural network (ANN) models, were used to model the landslide susceptibility of the study area and validate the accuracy of this evaluation index system. The global minimum variance portfolio was utilized to construct a machine learning combined model. 5-fold cross-validation, statistical indexes, and AUC (Area Under Curve) values were implemented to evaluate the predictive accuracy of the landslide susceptibility model. The mean AUC values for the SVM, RF, and ANN models in the training stage were 89.2%, 88.5%, and 87.9%, respectively, and 78.0%, 73.7%, and 76.7%, respectively, in the validating stage. In the training and validation stages, the mean AUC values of the combined model were 92.4% and 87.1%, respectively. As a kind of time series, the export volume of foreign trade has the characteristics of randomness, complexity, strong nonlinearity and noise, so it is difficult to describe it by using the traditional time series model algorithm. Support vector neural network (SVNN) has many unique advantages in solving small sample, nonlinear and high-dimensional pattern recognition problems. This paper uses the method of support vector neural network to predict and analyze China's foreign trade export and uses principal component analysis and regression analysis to analyze the contribution rate of different influencing factors to foreign trade export. The results show that:(1) the contribution rate of domestic economic factors to China's foreign trade export is the largest, reaching 59.65%, which also reflects the necessity and correctness of China's insistence on supply-side reform. (2) The nonlinear prediction results of the support vector neural network have a good fitting with the actual value of China's foreign trade export, and the prediction error of the support vector neural network is controlled within 10%, showing a good prediction effect; (3) neural network method has good modeling and generalization ability for nonstationary small sample import and export time series data and can achieve high prediction accuracy and decision judgment accuracy, especially for the prediction of its development trend, and the model has a high degree of fitting. Faster R-CNN architecture is used to solve the problems of moving path uncertainty, changeable coverage, and high complexity in cold-air induced large-scale intensive temperature-reduction (ITR) detection and classification, since those problems usually lead to path identification biases as well as low accuracy and generalization ability of recognition algorithm. In this paper, an improved recognition method of national ITR (NITR) path in China based on faster R-CNN in complicated meteorological systems is proposed. Firstly, quality control of the original dataset of strong cooling processes is carried out by means of data filtering. Then, according to the NITR standard and the characteristics of NITR, the NITR dataset in China is established by the intensive temperature-reduction areas located through spatial transformation. Meanwhile, considering that the selection of regularization parameters of Softmax classification method will cause the problem of probability calculation, support vector machine (SVM) is used for path classification to enhance the confidence of classification. Finally, the improved faster R-CNN model is used to identify, classify, and locate the path of NITR events. The experimental results show that, compared to other models, the improved faster R-CNN algorithm greatly improves the performance of NITR's path recognition, especially for the mixed NITR paths and single NITR paths. This paper is aimed to solve the overlearning problem of the neural network algorithm used to calculate the asphalt concrete pavement structural modulus in reverse. The firefly algorithm was adapted to optimize the selection of support vector machine (SVM) parameters. Based on the optimized SVM model, a new method for dynamic inversion of the semirigid base asphalt concrete pavement structural layer modulus was presented. The results show that the absolute value of relative error of each layer modulus is not more than 3.73% by using the proposed method. Then, the influences of temperature and humidity on the inversion modulus of semirigid base asphalt concrete pavement in the seasonal frozen area were analyzed, and the correction formula of the inversion modulus was established. The changes in China's stock market are inseparable from the country's economic development and macroeconomic regulation and control and have far-reaching significance in promoting China's national economic growth. Compared with the Western developed capital market, China's current stock market's main smart investment strategy still has certain defects. Based on the SVM model, this paper establishes a predictive model that combines kernel parameters and parameter optimization to model. The mesh search method, genetic algorithm, and particle swarm optimization algorithm are used to optimize the parameters of the SVM under various kernel functions such as radial basis kernel function. The algorithm and particle swarm optimization algorithm optimize the parameters of the SVM to strengthen the applicability of the model in practice. The empirical results show that under the three-parameter optimization algorithms, the prediction results are higher than the random prediction accuracy, which indicates that it is effective to optimize the model by adjusting the parameters of the SVM. Among them, the SVM using the genetic algorithm parameter optimization under the radial basis kernel function shows the better prediction effect, which is the closest to the real value in the stock market forecast. At present, China has the world's highest CO2 emissions. The reduction of China's CO2 emissions will have a direct effect on the world. Considering that CO2 emissions mainly come from the burning of fossil fuel, it is of great significance to accurately calculate and forecast China's energy‐related CO2 emissions. To improve the prediction accuracy of CO2 emissions, this paper proposed a new prediction model, which combines t‐distribution, Gaussian perturbations bat algorithm, and a least squares support vector machine, namely the TBAG‐LSSVM model. Furthermore, in order to ensure the rationality of factor selection, a stationary test, cointegration test, and Granger causality test were utilized to analyze factors affecting CO2 emissions. Through an empirical test, it was found that the proposed model has higher accuracy than LSSVM, BA‐LSSVM, WOA‐LSSVM, ELM, and BPNN. Therefore, three scenarios were put into the model to predict China's CO2 emissions up to 2030. The results indicate that CO2 emissions in 2030 will be 12 853.18, 11 378.27, and 12 008.19 million tons. For China Railway Track System (CRTS) I twin-block slab tracks, the interface between the sleeper and track slab is susceptible to damage under the coupled effect of long-term train load and external environment factors. In order to analyze the damage behavior and identify the type of debonding at the interface, this paper established a three-dimensional finite element model and introduced the cohesion zone model and concrete damaged plasticity model to simulate the interface damage and the inner-layer damage of the track slab, respectively. The interface debonding induced by the temperature effect was analyzed, and the debonding types were identified based on the obtained vertical vibration responses of the sleeper surface under the train load. The results reveal that the damage mainly occurs on the bottom and lateral sides at the interface under the temperature load. The track model can be refined further to obtain higher analysis accuracy with acceptable calculation time using the sequential loading method. The 26 damage features derived from the time domain, frequency domain, and time–frequency domain are in good representativeness in reflecting the damage information hidden in the vibration signals. Among them, the peak values (maximum vertical acceleration of the sleeper) are 55.0, 56.7, 60.3, and 61.6 m/s2 for no debonding, debonding on the lateral side, debonding at the bottom, and debonding on the longitudinal side of the interface under train load, respectively. Moreover, the identification accuracy of the debonding type can reach 93.75% combining the particle swarm algorithm and support vector machine. It indicates that the proposed identification method is effective and reliable to provide theoretical guidance for developing scientific maintenance and repair strategies for twin-block slab tracks. With the great success of deep learning and IoT techniques, many methods with GPU for License Plate Detection (LPD) have attracted remarkable attention in recent times. However, GPUs are not always equipped for video surveillance equipment due to device costs in a distributed edge-computing environment. Thereby, most methods of LPD on edge devices have poor running performance without GPUs. In this paper, we propose a novel hybrid methodology for license plate detection, which can accurately and quickly locate license plates in complex visual surveillance scenes without GPUs. As the background colors in China's license plates are specific, blue or green, a well-designed color filtering and Sobel detector are used to preprocess images to eliminate the complex background, which rapidly speed up the process of license plate detection. Then, we employ heuristic Simple Moving Average (SMA) search method to filter out the license plate area that meets the definite conditions from the candidate areas. In addition, Support Vector Machine(SVM) and trained Retina model are introduced to further detect the position of license plate for pictures without any candidate areas to improve the accuracy. Finally, we evaluate the proposed method on Chinese City Parking Dataset(CCPD), which is China's largest public license plate data set. Results demonstrate that our method is 312.37% faster than the original Retina model on devices without GPUs and still achieves the precision of 97.95%. A landslide is one of the most destructive natural disasters in the world. The accurate modeling and prediction of landslide hazards have been used as some of the vital tools for landslide disaster prevention and control. The purpose of this study was to explore the application of coupling models in landslide susceptibility evaluation. This paper used Weixin County as the research object. First, according to the landslide catalog database constructed, there were 345 landslides in the study area. Twelve environmental factors were selected, including terrain (elevation, slope, slope direction, plane curvature, and profile curvature), geological structure (stratigraphic lithology and distance from fault zone), meteorological hydrology (average annual rainfall and distance to rivers), and land cover (NDVI, land use, and distance to roads). Then, a single model (logistic regression, support vector machine, and random forest) and a coupled model (IV–LR, IV–SVM, IV–RF, FR–LR, FR–SVM, and FR–RF) based on information volume and frequency ratio were constructed, and the accuracy and reliability of the models were compared and analyzed. Finally, the influence of environmental factors on landslide susceptibility under the optimal model was discussed. The results showed that the prediction accuracy of the nine models ranged from 75.2% (LR model) to 94.9% (FR–RF model), and the coupling accuracy was generally higher than that of the single model. Therefore, the coupling model could improve the prediction accuracy of the model to a certain extent. The FR–RF coupling model had the highest accuracy. Under the optimal model FR–RF, distance from the road, NDVI, and land use were the three most important environmental factors, ac-counting for 20.15%, 13.37%, and 9.69%, respectively. Therefore, it was necessary for Weixin County to strengthen the monitoring of mountains near roads and areas with sparse vegetation to prevent landslides caused by human activities and rainfall. The fast and accurate classification of surrounding rock mass is the basis for tunnel design and construction and has significant value in engineering applications. Therefore, this paper proposes a method for classifying and predicting surrounding rock mass based on particle swarm optimization (PSO)–least squares support vector machine (LSSVM). The premise of the research is that the data acquired from digital drilling technology are divided into a training group and a test group; the training group continuously optimizes the algorithm for the particle swarm optimization least squares support vector machine, and then the test group is used for verification. Moreover, the fast searching abilities of the particle swarm significantly accelerate the computational power and computational accuracy of the least squares support vector machine, making it a high-speed analog search tool. Taking the Jiaozhou Bay undersea tunnel in China as an example, a comparison of the evaluation results of PSO-LSSVM and QGA-RBF (quantum genetic algorithm-radical basis function neural network) is undertaken. The results show that PSO-LSSVM matches well with the field-measured surrounding rock grade. Applying the method in an engineering context proves that it has good self-learning abilities, even when the sample size is small and the prediction accuracy is high; as such, it meets the engineering requirements. Near-land surface air temperature (NLSAT) is an important meteorological and climatic parameter widely used in climate change, urban heat island and environmental science, in addition to being an important input parameter for various earth system simulation models. However, the spatial distribution and the limited number of ground-based meteorological stations make it difficult to obtain a large range of high-precision NLSAT values. This paper constructs neural network, long short-term memory, bi-directional long short-term memory, support vector machine, random forest, and Gaussian process regression models by combining MODIS data, DEM data, and meteorological station data to estimate the NLSAT in China's mainland and compare them with actual NLSAT observations. The results show that there is a significant correlation between the model estimates and the actual temperature observations. Among the tested models, the random forest performed the best, followed by the support vector machine and the Gaussian process regression, then the neural network, the long short-term memory, and the bi-directional long short-term memory models. Overall, for estimates in different seasons, the best results were obtained in winter, followed by spring, autumn, and summer successively. According to different geographic areas, random forest was the best model for Northeast, Northwest, North, Southwest, and Central China, and the support vector machine was the best model for South and East China. Carrying out investigations into the relationships between the satisfaction in old-age security and its influence factors is of great significance for safeguarding social fairness and justice. As powerful statistical tools in machine learning, the support vector machine (SVM) and back-propagation neural network (BPNN) algorithms are used to develop nonlinear estimation models for satisfaction in the old-age security in China. Five influence factors (educational background, educational satisfaction, satisfaction with family's financial situation, overall life satisfaction, society overall evaluation) were used as the input features. A SVM model obtained in this paper has prediction accuracies of 78.0% for the training set and 77.5% for the test, and a BPNN model possesses prediction accuracies of 77.8% and 77.0% for the two tests. In order to improve the accuracy of theoretical energy loss calculation in low voltage distribution area (LV-area), this paper proposes a new prediction method based on variational mode decomposition (VMD) and particle swarm optimization (PSO) least squares support vector machine (LSSVM). Firstly, the main influencing factors of energy loss calculation in LV-area are determined by the grey correlation method, which reflects the data-driven characteristic of the method and ensures the objectivity of the prediction results and the generalization of the calculation model. Secondly, the trend component and fluctuation component are obtained by VMD of daily energy loss series in the LV-area. The variable set of main influencing factors of energy losses is used as the input variable of LSSVM, and the VMD result of the energy loss sequence is used as the output. The theoretical energy loss training and calculation model of LV-area is established. Compared with the traditional calculation model, this model has more accurate calculation accuracy by taking into account the frequency characteristics of energy losses in different frequency bands. PSO is used to optimize the parameters of LSSVM for the purpose of improving the accuracy of LSSVM. Finally, an example of 252 LV-area in a city in northern China is given to verify the validity of the proposed method. The results indicate that the proposed method generates more accurate results.
