Expanding gain bandwidth into the L-band for erbium-doped fiber amplifiers (EDFAs) is a crucial strategy to overcome limitations in prevalent C-band focused commercial silica-based EDFAs, significantly boosting optical network transmission capacity. Herein, we synthesized Er3+-doped broadband near-infrared emission tellurite glasses utilizing the melt quenching process, systematically exploring the impact of ZnCl 2 on the glass structure and optical properties. The 82TeO 2 –3Nb 2 O 5 –15ZnCl 2 –3Er 2 O 3 (TNZ15) glass emerged as a standout candidate for broadband amplifiers around wavelength at 1.55 μm. With escalating ZnCl 2 concentration, a discernible red shift in the emission peak wave lines was observed, accompanied by an expansion of the full width at half maximum (FWHM) from 98 nm to 106 nm. Noteworthy characteristics of all samples included exceptional thermal stability and elevated near-infrared (NIR) transmittance. Application of the Judd-Ofelt (J-O) theory facilitated the calculation of J-O parameter intensity, providing deeper insights into the optical behavior of the materials. Finally, the evaluation of TNZ15 planar optical waveguides, employing the vertical top pumping mode of two 980 nm LEDs, encompassed both the C-band (1530–1565 nm) and the L-band (1565–1625 nm). The results underscore the potential of TNZ15 glass as a promising gain material for broadband optical amplifiers and lasers, offering valuable insights into the development of next-generation optical amplification technologies. Zexieyin formula (ZXYF), a traditional Chinese herbal formula recorded in the Huangdi Neijing to have efficacy in relieving spleen dampness and heat accumulation syndrome, which is also the key pathogenesis of atherosclerosis (AS). The efficacy has demonstrated by our previous studies. However, the intrinsic mechanism of ZXYF for treating vascular inflammation and the effect of inflammatory response on plaque are not known. Currently, plaque stabilization is crucial for the prognosis of AS. Our study mainly focused on the therapeutic effects of ZXYF on high-fat diet (HFD)-induced vascular inflammation and vulnerable plaques (VP) in mice and explored its underlying mechanism. Male apolipoprotein E knockout (APOE−/−) mice were fed HFD for 8 weeks to establish a VP model. During this period, the mice were also administered ZXYF, while atorvastatin (ATO) was used as a positive control. Aortic plaque area and morphology were detected by oil red staining and HE staining. Aortic plaque collagen content was detected by Masson staining. M1/M2 type macrophages were detected using immunofluorescence (IF). The study analyzed the levels of inflammation-related cytokines (IL-1β, IL-10, IL-6), MAPK/NF-κB pathway proteins, and NLRP3 inflammasomes (NLRP3, Caspase-1) using Western blot. Additionally, the levels of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-2 and MMP-9 and α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) in the aorta were analyzed using immunohistochemistry (IHC). The plaque instability index was calculated for each group using the vulnerable plaque formula. In this study, APOE−/− mice were fed high-fat diet for 8 weeks. The results of oil-red and HE staining indicated a significant increase in the aortic plaque area of the mice, which exhibited a typical VP phenotype. ZXYF and ATO significantly improved AS plaques and prevented plaque rupture. HFD exacerbated vascular inflammation, stimulated macrophage conversion to M1-type through the MAPK/NF-κB signaling pathway, and released pro-inflammatory factors such as interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-1α, and IL-6. These factors activated NLRP3 inflammasome, leading to cellular death. However, ZXYF could reverse this trend and promote the conversion of macrophages to the anti-inflammatory M2 type. The anti-inflammatory effect of ATO was not significant. Moreover, HFD promoted the release of MMP-2 and MMP-9 from macrophages, which degraded plaque collagen, and induced a decrease in plaque SMC content, resulting in a thinning of the plaque fibrous cap. In contrast, ZXYF inhibited the decomposition of plaque collagen and increased the content of plaque smooth muscle cells (SMC) by reducing macrophage secretion of MMPs, thereby stabilizing plaques. Although ATO could reverse the decrease in plaque collagen and SMC content, its effect on MMPs was not significant. Finally, we calculated the vulnerability index to assess the overall risk of the plaque vulnerability phenotype. In line with these findings, ZXYF and ATO were able to effectively reverse the increase in the vulnerability index caused by HFD and lower the risk of adverse cardiovascular events. Our results suggested that ZXYF could reduce inflammation and increase plaque stability by inhibiting the MAPK/NF-κB signaling pathway, which provided a theoretical basis for clinical application and subsequent research. Sec-hexyl acetate was synthesized by the addition-esterification of 1-hexene. The activity of zinc-exchanged phosphotungstic acid catalysts is decided by the equilibrium relationship between the two different active sites, and the Lewis acid site can improve the adsorption capacity of the catalyst for acetic acid molecules. The in-situ FT-IR spectrum experiment confirms that the reaction rate of alkene isomerization is greater than that of the addition-esterification, and a higher temperature is not conducive to the generation of acetate. In this study, sec -hexyl acetate was synthesized through the addition-esterification of 1-hexene. At the same time, five different zinc-exchanged phosphotungstic acid catalysts were prepared using the ion exchange method, and their catalytic activities in the addition-esterification were tested and compared. Results indicate that the Zn 0.5 H 2.0 PW- I catalyst exhibits the best performance in six different catalysts, which is attributed to the synergistic effect of Brönsted and Lewis acids. The activity of catalysts is determined by the equilibrium relationship between Brönsted and Lewis acidity. Inspired by nature, this study employed the Bouligand structures, as observed in the dactyl club of mantis shrimp, to enhance the performance of 3D-printed Strain-Hardening Cementitious Composites (3DP-SHCC). Twenty sets of printed and mold-cast specimens were prepared to investigate the effects of Bouligand structures on the flexural performance of 3DP-SHCC. Three printing patterns (parallel, cross, and Bouligand printing) and five pitch angles (15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°) were used for the Bouligand printing pattern. The results showed that the flexural performance of parallel-printed SHCC exhibited significant directionality. The flexural strength and toughness of parallel-printed SHCC in the X direction were 1.28 times and 3.27 times greater than the mold-cast SHCC. However, the flexural strength and toughness in the Y direction were 0.58 times and 0.25 times those of the mold-cast SHCC. The cross-printed and Bouligand-printed SHCC alleviated the directionality. The flexural performance of cross-printed SHCC was lower than that of the mold-cast SHCC. Compared to parallel-printed SHCC, the flexural strength and toughness of Bouligand-printed SHCC increased by 1.25 to 1.73 times and 3.48 to 5.10 times, respectively, in the Y direction. Bouligand-printing twisted the fiber angles, enabling effective crack bridging across multiple directions and endowing the SHCC with uniform mechanical properties in various directions. Diabetes is a common chronic metabolic disease. The frequent fluctuation of glucose is the main cause of most diabetes complications, which in turn causes harm to the health of patients. Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) spectroscopy has attracted much attention in the rapid detection of glucose due to its unique molecular fingerprinting ability, ultra-high sensitivity and fast response. However, due to the low affinity between glucose and SERS substrate, poor signal, susceptibility to complex environmental interference, and poor stability of SERS detection, it is still a challenge for SERS to accurately and sensitively determine glucose in complex environments. In this work, we encapsulated 4-mercaptobutyronitrile (4-MBN) as an internal standard (IS) in Au@Ag NRs inside and then Au@4-MBN@Ag NRs, Leucomalachite Green (LMG), glucose oxidase (GOx) and horseradish peroxidase (HPR) were encapsulated in ZIF-8 to prepare a tandem enzyme catalytic ratiometric SERS sensor Au@4-MBN@Ag@LMG@ZIF-8(GOx, HPR) for the detection of glucose in saliva. Because ZIF-8 enhanced the catalytic activity of the enzyme, the ability of glucose enrichment, and weakens the aggregation of Ag NRs. The internal standard signal molecule improves the accuracy and sensitivity of detection. The ratiometric Raman signal I 412 /I 2233 of glucose has a good linear relationship with the concentration in the range of 0.1–100 μM, and the limit of detection (LOD) could be down to 0.03 μM. At the same time, it has excellent selectivity, repeatability and accuracy. The recovery rate of glucose in saliva is 96.50%–105.56 %, which proves the feasibility of the method. The Au@4-MBN@Ag@LMG@ZIF-8(GOx, HPR) sensor prepared in this study showed excellent SERS performance, which was able to detect glucose quickly, sensitively and accurately. Photocatalytic reaction shows great potential in environmental protection and energy conversion. However, it suffers from insufficient photocatalytic performance, which inhibits further application. The efficient separation of photogenerated charge carriers can contribute to the photocatalytic activity. Despite great progress in recent years, there is an absence of a systematic and solid understanding of the internal correlation between charge carriers' dynamics and photocatalytic performance. In this contribution, we focus on the photocatalytic mechanism and advanced modulation strategies of photogenerated charge carriers. In particular, the materials applied in photocatalysis are clarified and analyzed. Moreover, progressive techniques and theoretical calculations have been summarized to ascertain the transfer pathways of electrons and holes. Gaming disorder (GD) and hazardous gaming (HG) have a high incidence among adolescents and young adults and have caused various negative consequences. Interpersonal interaction deficits are closely related to GD and HG, however, the underlying brain mechanisms are still unclear. The current study recruited 46 healthy subjects and 32 subjects with GD/HG. Gaming time and frequency, gaming disorder risks, life events, strengths, and difficulties were measured with scales. Subjects were randomly paired into 12 HC-HC dyads, 15 GD/HG-HC dyads, and 7 GD/HG-GD/HG dyads and in pairs completed a real-world cooperating video game — "Tied Together" with functional near-infrared spectroscopy hyperscanning recording in the prefrontal cortex. The inter-brain synchronization in each region of the PFC between dyads was calculated by wavelet to transform coherence to measure brain-to-brain synchronization. We found subjects with GD/HG reported higher risks of gaming. The highest IBS in the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex significantly decreased in the GD/HG-HC and GD/HG-GD/HG dyads compared with healthy controls. A decreasing highest IBS of the left dlPFC was related to a decreasing level of peer problems. We declare limitations of age gaps of samples, undistinguishing GD from HG, use of sub-samples, and the broad concept of interpersonal interaction. The current study found a decreased highest IBS in the left dlPFC among adolescents and young adults with gaming diseases. Zexieyin formula (ZXYF) has been identified to have therapeutic actions of atherosclerosis (AS). It's unknown that whether ZXYF has therapeutic potential of atherosclerosis (AS) with cognitive impairment (CI) and its underlying mechanisms. To elucidate therapeutic effect of ZXYF for AS with CI as well as its underlying mechanisms in AS with CI mice model. To establish AS with CI model, we fed ApoE−/− mice with high-fat diet (HFD) for 8 weeks. Oil red O staining (ORO) and Hematoxylin-eosin staining (HE) were used to detect aortic plaque area. Morris water maze (MWM) and Y-maze were used to measure cognitive function and cognitive improvement after administration of ZXYF and atorvastatin (ATO). Network pharmacology was used to screen for potential mechanisms for improving cognitive function. Western blot was used to detect expressions of MAPK, Aβ and synaptic proteins in hippocampus. HFD caused and accelerated the AS in ApoE−/− mice, while it was easier able to produce CI than normal mice. Administration of ZXYF or ATO for 8 weeks significantly reduced aortic plaque area in ORO and HE tests, and improved cognitive abilities in MWM and Y-maze tests. Network pharmacology results showed that MAPK or synaptic proteins were highly associated with CI. HFD contributed to abnormal expressions of MAPK (pERK, pP38, pJNK), NF-kB, synaptic proteins (PSD95, synapsin1) and β-amyloid (Aβ) in hippocampus, which were all reversed by ZXYF. However, ERK and PSD95 expressions were not reversed by ATO in hippocampus. ZXYF mitigated AS, further alleviating CI by modulating MAPK signaling, relating to synaptic proteins enhancing and Aβ protein decreasing in the hippocampus. This study firstly lit up the new clinical application of ZXYF, which might promote the use of ZXYF in AS and CI patients. Periodic floods and ebb tides driven by seawater affect arsenic (As) behavior in coastal wetlands, which is not fully understood. In this study, we combined DGT, high-throughput sequencing, and real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) techniques for the first time to investigate the effects of flood and ebb tide on As transformation and mobility in a typical coastal tidal flat wetland by laboratory experiments. In the flood-tide stage, more As was released into the water solution, and As(III) concentration in water solution was notably higher (51 μg/L) than in the ebb-tide stage, especially in SA (sodium acetate addition) treatment. As-methylation also occurred in this stage. The release of As was attributed to the reductive dissolution of amorphous and crystalline Fe oxides bound As induced by microbes. Fusibacter , Sva1033 , Bradyrhizobium , Ralstonia , and Desulfobacter were primarily involved in the reduction of As, Fe, and S. The copy numbers of arsC were 20–148 times higher than arrA , suggesting that the detoxification reduction pathway was the primary mechanism of direct As-reduction in the flood-tide stage. However, 2-D high-resolution DGT techniques revealed that the concentrations of As(III) and total As in pore water of sediments in the ebb-tide stage were higher than those in the flood-tide stage. The detected aioA gene indicated that As was oxidized in the sediment surface, resulting in As stabilization by crystalline iron minerals, whereas more As(III) were accumulated in pore water. The reduction pathway mediated by arrA may play a prominent role in the ebb-tide stage. This study provides new insights into As release processes in coastal wetlands in seawater environments, which further deepens our understanding of As biogeochemical cycling behavior in different natural environments. Establishing an accurate quality prediction model is an essential prerequisite for quality management in diesel engine manufacturing factories. However, the large production scale and non-linear relationship between features and the diesel engine power significantly aggravate the complexity of establishing a power prediction model. The identification of key features can not only improve the prediction performance but also facilitate the control of product quality. The mainstream feature selection methods estimate features on a whole static sampling space, which ignores dynamic correlation among candidate features, selected features, and the label variable. This paper focuses on the relevance between the candidate features and diesel engine quality, the complementary and redundancy between the candidate features and selected features, proposing a conditional mutual information-based dynamic feature selection method for the prediction of diesel engine quality. Then, a high-accuracy AdaBoost model is proposed with support vector regression-partial swarm optimization (SVR-PSO) as weak learners, showing a satisfactory non-linear fitting ability and a convenient parameter optimization process. Finally, several cases are performed to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed methods. The proposed feature selection method shows a better performance than common feature selection methods on UCI datasets. Results on diesel engine power prediction declare that the proposed AdaBoost-SVR-PSO model is an effective quality prediction method compared with adaptive boosting, multilayer perception, and gradient boosting decision tree. IKBKE (Inhibitor of Nuclear Factor Kappa-B Kinase Subunit Epsilon) is an important oncogenic protein in a variety of tumors, which can promote tumor growth, proliferation, invasion and drug resistance, and plays a critical regulatory role in the occurrence and progression of malignant tumors. HMGA1a (High Mobility Group AT-hook 1a) functions as a cofactor for proper transcriptional regulation and is highly expressed in multiple types of tumors. ZEB2 (Zinc finger E -bo x Binding homeobo x 2) exerts active functions in epithelial mesenchymal transformation (EMT). In our current study, we confirmed that IKBKE can increase the proliferation, invasion and migration of glioblastoma cells. We then found that IKBKE can phosphorylate HMGA1a at Ser 36 and/or Ser 44 sites and inhibit the degradation process of HMGA1a, and regulate the nuclear translocation of HMGA1a. Crucially, we observed that HMGA1a can regulate ZEB2 gene expression by interacting with ZEB2 promoter region. Hence, HMGA1a was found to promote the ZEB2-related metastasis. Consequently, we demonstrated that IKBKE can exert its oncogenic functions via the IKBKE/HMGA1a/ZEB2 signalling axis, and IKBKE may be a prominent biomarker for the treatment of glioblastoma in the future. Nine polyacetylenes, including five new compounds named sadivaethynes E -I (1 – 5), were isolated from the roots of Saposhnikovia divaricata. Structural elucidation of compounds 1 – 5 was established by extensive spectroscopic analysis, quantum chemical calculations and DP4+ probability analysis. Among them, the absolute configuration of compound 1 – 2 , 4 – 5 was unambiguous determined by ECD. Also, all compounds were evaluated for cytotoxicity against two human cancer cell lines (A549, HEPG2) in vitro, compound 9 showed moderate inhibitory effect with an IC 50 value of 11.66 μM against HEPG2. A Janus photocathode of asymmetric wettability with hydrophobic oxygen storage layer and hydrophilic catalyst layer was successfully fabricated by graphite felt (GF) polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)-hydrophobization and a subsequent hollow sphere NiFe 2 O 4 @ZnFe 2 O 4 (NF@ZF) Z-scheme photocatalysts coating on the other side of GF. The designed Janus electrode showed significantly higher H 2 O 2 production than hydrophilic (NF@ZF/GF) and hydrophobic (NF@ZF/PTFE/GF) electrodes, and achieved a higher faradaic efficiency of 72%, as well as a record H 2 O 2 production rate of 255.9 mg·L−1∙h−1, while maintaining a stable photoelectrochemical performance for 9 h at 2.8 mA∙cm−2 in Na 2 SO 4 solution. The two-electrode co-photoelectrolysis system by coupling the ORR with inorganic arsenic/organoarsenic oxidation can simultaneously produce H 2 O 2 at Janus photocathode and As (V) at Fe anode under a low energy consumption (a cell voltage of only 0.7 V), respectively, and then the generated As (V) could be rapidly removed (above 93%) by adsorption onto Fe (III) (hydro)oxides. It is a green and sustainable path to establish cheap solid waste-based catalyst to establish peroxymonosulfate (PMS) catalytic system for the degradation of carbamazepine (CBZ) in water. In this study, durable copper tailing waste residue-based catalyst (CSWR) was prepared, and efficient CSWR/PMS system was constructed for catalytic degradation of CBZ for first time. The morphology and structure of CSWR changed from clumps to porous and loose amorphous by alkali leaching and medium temperature calcination. The reconstructed surface of the CSWR exposes more active sites promotes the catalytic reaction and increases the degradation rate of CBZ by more than 39.8 times. And the CSWR/PMS achieved a CBZ removal of nearly 99.99 % in 20 min. In particular, perovskite-type iron-calcium compounds were formed, which stimulated the production of more HO• and SO 4 •− in the system. DFT calculation shows that CSWR has stronger adsorption energy and electron transfer ability to PMS molecules, which improved the degradation efficiency of the system. In general, this study proposed a means of high-value waste utilization, which provided a new idea for the preparation of solid waste based environmental functional materials and is expected to be widely used in practical wastewater treatment. An adaptive impedance inner stage matching (AIISM) technique is proposed to extend the bandwidth. Besides, a co-simulating process is established by collaborating Keysight Advance Design System (ADS) and Ansys High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) to improve the circuit simulation accuracy at terahertz frequencies. The result from the experiment shows that a peak small signal gain of 12.8 dB at 220 GHz. The peak output power of 9.8dBm was measured at 220 GHz and the associated large-signal gain is 7.6 dB. Vegetable cultivation is highly profitable and can quickly generate earnings. The demand for vegetables is increasing daily compared with grain crops. However, the inefficient use of water resources and the lack of microelements in soil prevent improvements in vegetable quality and yield. This study conducted indoor pot experiments on spinach (Spinacea oleracea L.), including five concentrations of foliar iron (e.g., 0, 15, 30, 45, and 60 mg/L) under conventional water and magnetoelectric water irrigation conditions. This experiment was conducted to clarify the effect of the combined application of magnetoelectric water and foliar iron fertilizer on the growth characteristics and iron absorption patterns of spinach. The results demonstrated that magnetoelectric water combined with the application of 15 mg/L foliar iron fertilizer was the most effective combination. These results occurred by (1) increasing the available iron content in the soil while promoting the accumulation of total nitrogen in spinach leaves and (2) increasing the chlorophyll content and maximum net photosynthetic rate of spinach leaves. This resulted in a significant increase of 31.91 % in the aboveground fresh weight of spinach and an iron enrichment coefficient of 40.12 %. Additionally, the accuracy of the logistic growth and light response model to simulate the growth and light response process of spinach was greater than 0.98, indicating good fitting effects. The increase in chlorophyll content was the main factor promoting spinach growth and iron absorption, and the prediction model of spinach yield based on chlorophyll content was well fitting. This article presents an overview of prevalent model architectures within this field, critically examining their advantages and drawbacks. Additionally, the paper provides a comprehensive survey of current methodologies, widely used datasets, and standard evaluation metrics in human motion prediction. A novel zero carbon emission combined power and hydrogen system is developed in this paper, which integrates power generation, hydrogen production, and energy storage. The novel combined system is composed of solar power tower subsystem, supercritical carbon dioxide recompression Brayton cycle subsystem, hydrogen gas turbine subsystem, hydrogen production subsystem and thermoelectric generator subsystem. Considering the solar instability, three operating modes are set for the combined system: pure hydrogen mode, solar‑hydrogen hybrid mode and pure solar energy mode. Comprehensive energy, exergy and economic analyses are performed for the combined system. The effects of five key parameters on the system performance are investigated. Taking the maximum exergy efficiency and the minimum levelized cost of energy as the objective function, the key parameters are optimized by the genetic algorithm. Results show that in pure hydrogen mode, the thermal and exergy efficiency of the combined system are 44.79% and 45.49%, respectively. Compared with pure hydrogen mode, the levelized cost of energy is reduced by 44.76% and 75.16% in solar‑hydrogen hybrid and pure solar energy mode. There is an optimal compressor pressure ratio to make the combined system have better thermodynamic and economic performance. Parameter optimization results show that for pure solar mode, the levelized cost of energy of the combined system is 75.4% and 56.3% lower than that of pure hydrogen mode, solar‑hydrogen hybrid mode respectively in the levelized cost of energy optimal design. The derived significant contributions of this work highlight strong potentials for combined system based on solar energy‑hydrogen complementary utilization. Largemouth bass (LMB; Micropterus salmoides) is an economically consequential piscine species spanning North America, Europe, and China. Elevated nitrite concentrations in aquatic environments cause significant physiological changes in fish, including stunted growth, appetite changes, reduced feed intake, and impaired oxygen transport, collectively affecting overall fish health. This study embarked on uncovering the molecular mechanisms underscoring the influence of various nitrite concentrations (0 mg/L, 400 mg/L, 600 mg/L, and 600 mg/L followed by recovery in nitrite-free water) on LMB, leveraging transcriptomics and metabolomics. Our findings revealed that a nitrite exposure of 400/600 mg/L may incite temporary, recoverable damage to the spleen, heart, and gills, but potentially enduring, irreversible hepatic pathologies. The spleen emerged as the most vulnerable organ to nitrite-induced deleterious impacts, causing acute, reversible damage and widespread apoptosis. Nitrite reprogramed splenocyte gene expressions, and prompted apoptosis, autophagy, and changes in metabolic pathways. It also triggered cell-type transitions and promoted adhesion-related gene expressions, as well as inhibited nucleotide metabolism and cell cycle progression. Notably, the immune cell repertoire within the spleen was affected by different nitrite concentrations, possibly linking to nitrite-induced spleen tissue impairment. Following the construction of a LMB protein–protein interaction (PPI) network, several pivotal genes uniquely expressed in distinct nitrite concentrations were identified, such as hdac4 , hdac5 , and brg1 in the N2 group (400 mg/L), hdac1 , hells , and nccrp1 in the N3 group (600 mg/L), and Actr1 , brd4 , atf7a , and kat2b in the N4 group (600 mg/L recovery). The LMB spleen transcriptome was most profoundly influenced in the N3 group. Applying the MCODE algorithm for network module segmentation, we discerned eight MCODE subnetworks. Detailed analyses of these subnetworks shed light on their core functional pathways and pivotal genes. In particular, the MCODE1 core network implicated mainly Notch-HLH transcription, histone deacetylation, and protein deacetylation pathways, with pivotal genes such as ESRRGB , ATF7A , JDP2A , BRD4 , and THRB. Metabolomic analysis results paralleled those of transcriptomic examination, corroborating analogous metabolic pathway alterations. In this paper, a series of novel self-supported membranes were prepared based on PDMS- b -PI- b -PDMS triblock copolymers by solution casting method. The composition and structure of the copolymers were confirmed by FTIR, GPC and 1HNMR. The self-supported dehydrated membranes showed good thermal, chemical, and mechanical stability. Their water contact angle decreased obviously from 96° to 61° with the increasing PI contents from 50% to 100% in the triblock copolymers. The clear microphase separation with continuous PI domains of PDMS- b -PI- b -PDMS based membranes were observed in the TEM image. The microphase domain size increased with the increasing of molecular weight and content of PDMS. The higher domain size resulted in lower flux and higher separation factor of these membranes. The membrane M3, which has 70 wt% of PI content in the triblock copolymer, exhibit excellent ethanol dehydration performance with flux of 3.96 kg·m−2·h−1, separation factor of 255 and maintained 120 h with barely decreasing in separation performance, for 95 wt% ethanol solution at 20 °C. When elevated the feed temperature upto 60 °C, the dehydration flux increased to 16.90 kg·m−2·h−1, and the separation factor decreased to 37. This study first constructs an evaluation index system based on the pressure state response model, and assigns weights through entropy method and coefficient of variation method, providing theoretical and methodological support for comprehensive measurement and evaluation. Pyrolae herba (PH), a kind of Chinese herb, has been identified to have an anti-inflammatory effect, while the potential for treating cognitive impairment (CI), as well as the underlying mechanisms, is unclear. Currently, the interaction between neuroinflammation and neural function play a critical role in pathophysiology of CI. To elucidate therapeutic effect of PH for CI as well as its underlying mechanisms with LPS-treated mice model. In this study, male C57BL6/J mice received lipopolysaccharide (LPS) injection for 10 days to establish CI model and were administrated with PH for 14 days. We used piracetam as a positive control. Memory and spatial function was tested by Morris water maze (MWM). The level of inflammation-related cytokines (TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-10, IL-6) were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) in serum and western blot in hippocampus. Immunofluorescence (IF) was used to measure the levels of ionized calcium binding linker molecule 1 (IBA-1), glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP), BrdU, Ki67 and doublecortin (DCX) in hippocampus. The mRNA sequencing was used to screen the potential target of PH with therapeutic CI. Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was used to determine the gene alteration of triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 2 (TREM2) in hippocampus. We used western blot to determine protein expressions of TREM2 and its related signaling, as well as synaptic proteins in hippocampus. The results revealed that LPS contributed to CI, and PH or piracetam treatment significantly ameliorated CI in MWM test. LPS contributed to increasing expressions of TNF-α and IL-1β in serum and hippocampus, which both reversed by PH or piracetam. PH or piracetam could inhibit the activation of glial cells including microglia and astrocyte in the hippocampus in LPS-induced CI model. The mRNA sequencing and RT-PCR results showed that LPS significantly increased the gene expression of TREM2, which was reversed by PH. The alteration of TREM2 expression was the most significant among the 10 genes (TREM2, Slc24a2, Ptch2, Gck, Il1rapl1, Cadps2, Btbd11, Secisbp2l, Tenm3 and Prepl) in hippocampus. Protein results showed that LPS upregulated the expressions of TREM2 and its related proteins including DAP12, spleen tyrosine kinase (SYK) phosphorylation and ADAM 10, which were all reversed by PH or piracetam in hippocampus. Furthermore, LPS was capable of reducing the expression of BrdU and DCX co-labeled positive cells in hippocampal dentate gyrus (DG), which was reversed only by PH. Moreover, PH or piracetam treatment significantly increased the expression of Ki67 and DCX co-labeled positive cells in hippocampal DG. The expression of synapsin1 was obviously decreased by LPS and was significantly reversed by PH or piracetam. PH could alleviate CI by suppressing the secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines and mitigating astrocyte activity by restraining microglia's activation in hippocampus, further facilitating neurogenesis and proliferation, thereby enhancing pre-synaptic protein. Jiawei-Xiaoyao pill (JWX), a traditional Chinese medicine, was recorded in ancient Chinese medicine pharmacopoeia using for treatment of various diseases, including mood disorders. Current mainstream antidepressants have a disadvantage in delayed onset of action. The rapid antidepressant potential of JWX and the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. We aimed to assess the rapid antidepressant potential of JWX, within the prescription dose range, and the distinct underlying neuroplasticity signaling mechanism. The rapid antidepressant response of JWX were determined using various behavioral paradigms, and in a corticosterone (CORT)-induced depression model in mice. The molecular neuroplasticity signaling and the expression of BDNF in the hippocampus was evaluated using immunoblotting and immunostaining. The contribution of specific signaling was investigated using pharmacological interventions. A single dose of JWX induced rapid and persistent antidepressant effects in both the normal and chronic CORT-exposed mice. The phosphorylation of CaMKII, mTOR, ERK and the expressions of BDNF, synapsin1 and PSD95 increased at 30 min post JWX. JWX restored the expression of BDNF in the hippocampal dentate gyrus reduced by CORT-exposure. The rapid antidepressant effect and upregulation of BDNF expression by JWX was blunted by a mTOR antagonist, rapamycin, or a CaMKII antagonist, KN-93. CaMKII signaling blockade blunted mTOR signaling activated by JWX, but not vice versa. JWX elicits a rapid antidepressant effect, via quickly stimulating CaMKII signaling, subsequently activating mTOR-BDNF signaling pathway, and thus enhancing hippocampal neuroplasticity. However, dynamic changes due to disturbances and drifts pose some potential risks for continuous processes during long-term operation. In this study, a model-based approach was used to describe the changes in breakthrough curves with feedstock variations in target proteins and impurities. The performances of continuous capture of three-column periodic counter-current chromatography under ΔUV dynamic control were systematically evaluated with modeling to assess the risks under different feedstock variations. As the concentration of target protein decreased rapidly, the protein might not breakthrough from the first column, resulting in the failure of ΔUV control. Small reductions in the concentrations of target proteins or impurities would cause protein losses, which could be predicted by the modeling. The combination of target protein and impurity variations showed complicated effects on the process performance of continuous capture. A contour map was proposed to describe the comprehensive impacts under different situations, and nonoperation areas could be identified due to control failure or protein loss. With the model-based approach, after the model parameters are estimated from the breakthrough curves, it can rapidly predict the process stability under dynamic control and assess the risks under feedstock variations or UV signal drifts. Five new biflavonoids, diphybiflavonoids A − E (1 – 5), were isolated from the roots and rhizomes of Diphylleia sinensis. Their structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic data, including UV, IR, HR-ESI-MS and 2D NMR. Their absolute configurations were determined by ECD spectra. All isolated compounds were evaluated for acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitory activity. Compounds 1 – 4 exhibited the potent AChE inhibitory activities with IC 50 values of 1.62, 2.10, 2.08, and 5.15 μM, respectively. The preliminary structure-activity relationship study indicated that the connection mode (C2-O-C4′′′/C3-O-C3′′′ or C2-O-C3′′′/C3-O-C4′′′) of biflavonoid subunits, and 3-hydroxy group of flavonol subunit were important structural factors for AChE inhibitory activity. Biflavonoids, containing a C2-O-C4′′′/C3-O-C3′′′ or C2-O-C3′′′/C3-O-C4′′′ linkage, can be a potentially useful platform for development of cholinesterase inhibitors. Frequency diverse array (FDA) multiple-input multiple-out (MIMO) radar has an inherent higher-dimensional data structure that can be exploited in temporal, spatial, and range-dependent dimensions for space–time-range adaptive processing (STRAP). This paper addresses the problem of tensor filters in application to space–time-range clutter suppression for FDA-MIMO radar. The characteristics of space–time-range clutter are discussed to establish the multidimensional signal models. FDA-MIMO radar can divide the secondary range cell within the range resolution cell of MIMO radar when they have the same matching filter bandwidth in the receive channel. Specifically, the target-free covariance information can be estimated from more secondary training cells for FDA-MIMO radar. According to the discussed properties of space–time-range clutter, namely secondary clutter rings, clutter degrees of freedom (DOFs), and the range-dimensional non-stationary characteristic, a tensor-based STRAP approach with range compensation is proposed to suppress clutter for FDA-MIMO radar. Numerical results verify the mentioned clutter characteristics and illustrate the importance of the samples number and range compensation operation for the proposed tensor filter. Nitrofurazone (NFZ), a nitroimidazole antibiotic, can cause serious toxicity when overused, its quantification is crucial for human health. Herein, crab shell waste is converted into porous biochar at a high temperature, which can be employed for the establishment of an electrochemical sensor for the quantitative detection of NFZ. The morphological and structural properties of the crab shell carbon at different temperatures were characterized by SEM, XRD, FT-IR and N 2 adsorption-desorption analyses. The crab shell carbon prepared at 500 °C (C-CS-500) and 700 °C (C-CS-700) is calcite-based and contains micro-fibrillar similar to chitin structure, while the crab shell carbon prepared at 900 °C (C-CS-900) is lime-based and lacks the similar structure. And the synergistic influence of calcite-based composition and micro-fibrillar structure of crab shell carbon offered strong electron-transport properties and a large electrode active at a higher carbonized temperature. The electrochemical signals demonstrated that the crab shell carbon prepared at 700 °C provided enhanced sensing capability for rapid NFZ detection with a wide linear range of 0.40–80 μM, a high sensitivity of 0.55 μA μM−1 and a low detection limit of 0.11 μM (S/N = 3), as compared to the crab shell carbon prepared at 500 °C and 900 °C. In addition, the sensor can also be utilized to quantify nitrofurazone in the real drug (compound cod liver oil ointment) with satisfactory recovery. Multifunctional agents with therapeutic and diagnostic capabilities are imperative to the prevention of Alzheimer's disease (AD), which is considered due to abnormal aggregation and deposition of β-amyloid protein (Aβ) as well as oxidative stress. Herein, quercetin (Que)- and p-phenylenediamine (p-PD)-derived red emission carbon dots (CDs) synthesized via a one-step hydrothermal method were designed as a novel theranostic nano-agent for the multi-target treatment of AD. R-CD-75 with an optimized composition exhibited significant inhibition of Aβ aggregation and rapid depolymerization of mature Aβ fibrils (<4 h) at micromolar concentrations (2 and 5 μg/mL, respectively). Moreover, R-CD-75 potently scavenged reactive oxygen species and showed turned-on red fluorescence imaging of Aβ plaques both in vitro and in vivo. In vitro assays proved that R-CD-75 significantly mitigated the Aβ-induced cytotoxicity and enhanced the cultured cell viability from 74.9 % to 98.0 %, while in vivo studies demonstrated that R-CD-75 prolonged the lifespan of AD nematodes by over 50 % (from 13 to 20 d). Compared to the precursors Que and p-PD, R-CD-75 inherited some of their structures and functional groups, such as aromatic structures, phenolic hydroxyl and amino groups, which were considered to interact with Aβ species through hydrogen bonding, electrostatic interactions, hydrophobic interactions, and π-π stacking, thus contributing to its effectiveness in its theranostic functions. The urban agglomeration on the Northern Slope of the Tianshan Mountains (UATM) is located in a typical arid region with extremely fragile ecological environment. However, the impact of LUT on the spatial pattern of ESs in the region over the past 20 years is not clear. This study aimed to explore LUT characteristics of the urban agglomeration on the UATM using a land transfer matrix, information entropy, land utilization intensity, and land utilization dynamic degree. Various ESs indexes were quantitatively measured using the Integrated Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Trade-offs (InVEST) model, and the effect of LUT on ESs was revealed through a geographic detector and spatial auto-correlation analyses. The results of this study led to the following conclusions: First, between 2000 and 2020, the primary land utilization types in UATM were arable land, grassland, and bare land, with significant cross-transformations occurring among these types. Meanwhile, LUT showed marked differences among different regions. LUT changed rapidly and significantly in the central region; in contrast, slower and slight changes were observed in the northern and southern regions. Second, during the research period, habitat maintenance, water yield and carbon sequestration decreased, and the soil retention function increased. The accelerated urban development in the second decade led to more rapid changes in ESs. Finally, both the structure and intensity of land utilization showed the strongest explanatory capability for changes in ESs. Different dimensions of LUT showed significant interactions with ESs. Therefore, it is advisable to guide LUT scientifically, promote vegetation restoration projects, alleviate the impacts of human activities and climate change on ESs, and enhance the ecological safety and environmental sustainability of UATM and even arid regions in Central Asia. Hydrogen leakage has become the biggest bottleneck restricting the development of hydrogen energy. Accurately locating the leakage is conducive to improving the hydrogen energy safety technology system. In this paper, a deep belief network pre-training and fine-tuning (DBN-PF) leakage source positioning coordinate method based on the fully confined space hydrogen Gaussian distribution model is proposed. Firstly, a fully confined space hydrogen Gaussian distribution model is established, and then a pre-training dataset is generated. The Gaussian-Gaussian Restricted Boltzmann Machine (GGRBM) in Deep Belief Network (DBN) is unsupervised pre-trained layer by layer, and the back propagation (BP) neural network in DBN is supervised pre-trained. Secondly, the hydrogen leakage experiment in the fully confined space was carried out, in which 8 hydrogen concentration sensors (HCSs) were placed on the top of the fully confined space, and the leakage experiment was carried out in sequence at 25 leakage locations. Finally, the HCS experimental data of one leakage location is extracted to fine-tune DBN. The experimental data at the other leakage locations were used to verify the positioning results. The results show that the positioning results average error of the proposed method is 20.62 mm. The average error accounts for 2.97% of the diagonal length of the closed model XY plane. Compared with BP neural network trained directly with the same fine-tuning dataset, the positioning error is reduced by at least 82.37%. Compared with the BP neural network with the same pre-training and fine tuning, the positioning error is reduced by at least 39.31%. In this study, the roles of Fe 2 O 3 and TiO 2 nanoparticles (NPs) on the microbial mediated As mobilization from As contaminated soil were investigated. The addition of Fe 2 O 3 and TiO 2 NPs restrained As(V) release, and stimulated As(III) release. As(V) concentration decreased by 94% and 93% after Fe 2 O 3 addition, and decreased by 89% and 45% after TiO 2 addition compared to the Biotic and Biotic+Acetate (amended with sodium acetate) controls, respectively. The maximum values of As(III) were 20.5 and 27.1 µg/L at 48 d after Fe 2 O 3 and TiO 2 NPs addition, respectively, and were higher than that in Biotic+Acetate control (12.9 µg/L). The released As co-precipitated with Fe in soils in the presence of Fe 2 O 3 NPs, but adsorbed on TiO 2 NPs in the presence of TiO 2 NPs. Moreover, the addition of NPs amended with sodium acetate as the electron donor clearly promoted As(V) reduction induced by microbes. The NPs addition changed the relative abundance of soil bacterial community, while Proteobacteria (42.8%-70.4%), Planctomycetes (2.6%-14.3%), and Firmicutes (3.5%-25.4%) were the dominant microorganisms in soils. Several potential As/Fe reducing bacteria were related to Pseudomonas, Geobacter, Desulfuromonas , and Thiobacillus. The addition of Fe 2 O 3 and TiO 2 NPs induced to the decrease of arrA gene. The results indicated that the addition of NPs had a negative impact on soil microbial population in a long term. Integrated energy system (IES) plays a vital role in achieving energy revolution and the goals of carbon peak and carbon neutrality. The optimal planning of IES is of great significance for improving the overall efficiency of the system and promoting its sustainable development. Focusing on this issue, this paper proposes a planning framework integrating multi-objective optimization with fuzzy multi-criteria decision making (MCDM). In this framework, IES planning is modeled as a multi-objective optimization problem that, for the first time, simultaneously minimizes energy consumption, carbon emissions, and economic costs. Thereafter, the optimization problem is solved by a multi-objective state transition algorithm based on decomposition (MOSTA/D), which generates a Pareto set that realizes multiple conflicting objective tradeoffs. Furthermore, to comprehensively evaluate the Pareto optimal solutions, an evaluation criteria system is established from various perspectives, and a novel MCDM approach is proposed. This approach combines the analytic network process-entropy weighting technique, which takes into account the correlation between criteria as well as subjective preference and objective information, with fuzzy TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution) for scientifically ranking and selecting solutions under uncertainty. The simulation results of an IES planning case study demonstrate that the optimal scheme determined by the proposed method achieves the best overall benefit for IES, with significant annual economic cost savings, primary energy savings, and carbon dioxide emission reduction rates of 2.27%, 40.36%, and 56.25%, respectively, proving the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method. Co-abatement strategies that can reduce both CO 2 and air pollutants emissions are essential for the green and low-carbon transition of China's iron and steel industry. Most previous studies analyzed CO 2 and air pollutants reduction policies independently, but the synergies and tradeoffs between the two types of policies have rarely been investigated. By establishing a bottom-up simulation model that considers combinations of different policy objectives, crude steel demand and technology development options, this study couples air pollutants reduction into the carbon neutrality pathways to evaluate the synergistic effects of different abatement strategies in China's iron and steel industry. The study also incorporates the indirect CO 2 and air pollutants emissions from the upstream energy production sectors into pathway analysis, in order to avoid cross-sectoral carbon and air pollution leakages. The results show that the current emissions reduction policies in the iron and steel industry are far from achieving the carbon neutrality goals. To achieve synergistic reduction in CO 2 and air pollutants emissions, the short term policies should mainly rely on increasing the share of the scrap-electric arc furnace (EAF), while reducing crude steel demand and promoting breakthrough technologies, particularly hydrogen-based direct reduction, should play a major role in the long term. Elongated nanoparticles show distinct advantages over spherical nanoparticles in bioimaging because of surface area-to-volume, rate of clearance from the body and elimination mechanism. In this work, we investigated the fluorescence emission properties of the hybrid system by decorating silver sulfide quantum dots (Ag 2 S QDs) in situ on the surface of cellulose nanocrystal (CNC) with unique rod shape, modifiability and biocompatibility. This water-dispersible fluorescent probe has both absorption and fluorescence in near-infrared (NIR) region. By varying the amount of surface ligands, uniformly dispersed Ag 2 S QDs with different crystalline states but similar sizes were prepared due to the anchoring effect of CNC. The fluorescence quantum yield of fluorescent probes can be improved up to 109-fold (from 0.04 % to 4.36 %). In addition, the CNC-restricted interparticle spacing of Ag 2 S QDs (< 10 nm), in combination with the overlap of wide fluorescence emission and ultraviolet absorption, significantly enhanced the 1070 nm emission in the NIR-II region via fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET). Further conjugation of these CNC probes with folic acid-polyethylene glycol-amino (FA-PEG-NH 2) enables in vitro bioimaging of Hela cells, which are potentially applicable for in vivo cancer detection system. Iron accumulation is one of the most essential pathological events after subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH). Ferroportin1 (FPN1) is the only transmembrane protein responsible for exporting iron. Hepcidin, as the major regulator of FPN1, is responsible for its degradation. Our study investigated how the interaction between FPN1 and hepcidin contributes to iron accumulation after SAH. We found that iron accumulation aggravated after SAH, along with decreased FPN1 in neurons and increased hepcidin in astrocytes. After knocking down hepcidin in astrocytes, the neuronal FPN1 significantly elevated, thus attenuating iron accumulation. After SAH, p -Smad1/5 and Smad4 tended to translocate into the nucleus. Moreover, Smad4 combined more fragments of the promoter region of Hamp after OxyHb stimulation. By knocking down Smad1/5 or Smad4 in astrocytes, FPN1 level restored and iron overload attenuated, leading to alleviated neuronal cell death and improved neurological function. However, the protective role disappeared after recombinant hepcidin administration. Therefore, our study suggests that owing to the nuclear translocation of transcription factors p -Smad1/5 and Smad4, astrocyte-derived hepcidin increased significantly after SAH, leading to a decreased level of neuronal FPN1, aggravation of iron accumulation, and worse neurological outcome. MnO 2 is a promising catalyst due to its abundant metal valence and good redox ability. Different crystal phases of MnO 2 have different oxygen species, but the relationship between their catalytic activity and crystal structures is unclear. In this study, four MnO 2 catalysts with crystal structures (α -, β -, γ -, and δ -MnO 2) were selected to unveil the roles of terminal-type (Mn O), superoxide-type Mn(-O-) 2 Mn, and bridge-type (Mn-O-Mn) oxygen species in CO oxidation. γ -MnO 2 has the best CO oxidation performance. Density functional theory calculation results show that Mn O on γ- MnO 2 can adsorb CO easier than other two types of oxygen species. Operando TPR-DRIFTS-MS results show that Mn O on the surface of γ- MnO 2 can react with CO to form terminal-type oxygen vacancies (M2+=□2–) at low temperatures. Meanwhiles, Mn(-□-)(-O-)Mn and Mn-□-Mn can dissociate O 2 to form Mn O under certain conditions to promote CO oxidation. • A metal-free Se-based ternary porous carbon has been developed. • The tri-doping and porous structure promotes the CO 2 RR activity. • It achieves a faraday efficiency of 94.8% for CO with good stability. Herein, a series of metal-free N, P, and Se ternary-doped porous carbon electrocatalysts, referred as "SePNC" as metal-free electrocatalysts, was prepared. This study shows that, the optimal electrocatalyst of SePNC-1050, which prepared at 1050 ℃, has high CO selectivity with Faraday efficiency of 94.8% for CO, and a byproduct of 5.2% H 2. After continuous electrolysis for 12 h, the Faraday efficiency and current density remained relatively high, around 95.9% and 80.2% of the initial values, respectively, indicating it has long-term operation stability. Full utilization of biomass after fractionation of its components is an effective way to maximize the value of biomass. Herein, in this study, a new acetal-mediated deep eutectic solvent (DES) was explored and its excellent performance in separating lignin from biomass as well as retarding lignin condensation has been observed. Subsequently, the separated lignin and cellulose-rich residue were used to prepare sunscreen and transparent food indicator films, respectively. The results showed that the acetal-mediated DES pretreatment can reduce the recalcitrance of bagasse, stabilize lignin (β-O-4 content of 68.6% in the lignin), and retain most of the cellulose (ie. 83.43%). Besides, the pretreatment enhanced the subsequent hydrogenolysis of lignin, and the higher β-O-4 content of the lignin contributed to the high yield of aromatic monomers (40.94%). In addition, regenerated lignin was attractive for sunscreen applications due to its lighter color and excellent UV-blocking properties. Furthermore, cellulose smart indicator film was highly sensitive, biodegradable, has excellent physical properties, and allows visual real-time monitoring of seafood spoilage using smartphones. Meanwhile, the yield of the removed hemicellulose converted to xylose in the pretreatment process reached 99.24%. Due to the outstanding performance, composite materials are widely used and analyzing their properties and designing them based on performance has become a crucial task in the field of many manufacturing industries. Composite materials possess complex multiscale structures, and traditional fine-scale finite element modeling and analysis may lead to severe computational resource challenges. To overcome this difficulty, breakthroughs in key technologies of multiscale accelerated analysis algorithms are required. In this study, an innovative approach based on artificial intelligence and multiscale finite element method is presented. This approach involves partitioning the entire composite material structure into coarse grids that resemble homogenous structures of similar size, providing results consistent to fine-grid finite element analysis. By utilizing CNN for image feature recognition and employing the CGAN adversarial method, coarse-grid equivalent stiffness matrices and multiscale shape functions from completely random microstructures of composite materials can be obtained. Consequently, this enables a rapid response process from microstructure to low-resolution grid to high-resolution physical field, with remarkably accurate physical field results. Moreover, compared to traditional fine-grid finite element methods, this approach significantly reduces memory usage and computation time. This method is applicable to composite materials with varying shaped inclusions, different component properties, and diverse geometric distributions, allowing these materials to perform high-fidelity finite element calculations on coarse grids and predict their mechanical behavior. Currently, the hidden risk of microplastics in the coagulation process has attracted much attention. However, previous studies aimed at improving the removal efficiency of microplastics and ignored the importance of interactions between microplastics and natural organic matter (NOM). This study investigated how polystyrene micro/nano particles impact the release of NOM during the aging of flocs formed by aluminum-based coagulants Al 13 and AlCl 3. The results elucidated that nano-particles with small particle sizes and agglomerative states are more likely to interact with coagulants. After 7 years of floc aging, the DOC content of the nano system decreased by more than 40%, while the micron system did not change significantly. During coagulation, the benzene rings in polystyrene particles form complexes with electrophilic aluminum ions through π-bonding, creating new Al-O bonds. NOM tends to adsorb at micro/nano plastic interfaces due to hydrophobic interactions and conformational entropy. In the aging process, the structure of PS-Al 13 or PS-AlCl 3 flocs and the functional groups on the surface of micro/nano plastics control the absorption and release of organic matter through hydrophobic, van der Waals forces, hydration, and polymer bridging. In the system with the addition of nano plastics, several DBPs such as TCAA, DCAA, TBM, DBCM and nitrosamines were reduced by more than 50%. The reaction order of different morphological structures and surface functional groups of microplastics to Al 13 and AlCl 3 systems is aromatic C-H > C-OH > C-O > NH 2 > aromatic C C > aliphatic C-H and C-O>H-C O> NH 2 >C-OH> aliphatic C-H. Silkworm cocoon, a source of design inspiration from nature, comprises a multilayer structure with composition change in the thickness direction, thereby endowing the cocoon with relatively high porosity and outstanding mechanical strength. Therefore, a silkworm cocoon-like structured nanofibrous separator (GPS) is fabricated in this work by initially preparing several polyacrylonitrile (PAN) nanofibrous membranes with varied content of carboxyl styrene butadiene latex (SBR) and then laminating them in a concentration gradient sequence. Compared with the pristine PAN membrane, the GPS exhibits comparable porosity, thermal stability and electrolyte wettability due to the existence of PAN nanofibers, while the tensile strength and puncture resistance of the GPS are greatly raised by 5.5 times and 1.5 times, respectively. On account of the structure design, GPS also shows better mechanical strength than PAN/SBR separators without concentration gradient, and the strengthening mechanism has been verified by the finite element analysis. Meanwhile, such gradient structure of GPS renders the battery with desirable ion transport ability and stable cycle properties. Caper spurge (Euphorbia lathyris L.), known for its high content of oleic acid-enriched seed oils, has gained recognition as a valuable non-edible feedstock for biodiesel production. However, there is limited understanding of the biosynthesis and regulation of these desirable seed oils. In this study, an omics-based approach and genetic transformation were employed to investigate the glycerol-3-phosphate acyltransferase (GPAT) enzyme, which catalyzes the initial acylation reaction in triacylglycerol (TAG) biosynthesis, in caper spurge. Ten genes encoding ElGPAT , identified from the E. lathyris genome, were classified into three phylogenetic groups, exhibiting similar protein motifs and gene structures. RNA-seq data revealed distinct expression patterns of these ElGPAT genes in various tissues and different stages of seed development. Notably, ElGPAT9 showed the highest expression in flowers and developing seeds, with its encoded protein localized in the endoplasmic reticulum. Experiments using a yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) expression system demonstrated that ElGPAT9 exhibited strong GPAT enzyme activity, crucial for TAG assembly, and preference for oleic acid (C18:1), as confirmed by feeding tests with exogenous fatty acids (FA). Similarly, stable transgenic lines of Nicotiana tabacum over-expressing ElGPAT9 showed increased levels of total oil and oleic acid, as well as improved pollen viability, without any growth penalty compared to wild-type and empty-vector controls. The transcriptome based WGCNA also identified genes related to lipid synthesis that are co-expressed with ElGPAT9. Flower-like Bi 2 WO 6 microspheres and TiO 2 spherical particles were prepared by a facile hydrothermal method without any surfactant or template. A unique Z-Scheme Bi 2 WO 6 /TiO 2 heterojunction was successfully synthesized via a simple physical mixing method. The effect of mass ratio on the structure, morphology, optical properties, BET surface area and photocatalytic performance evaluated by degradation of organic dyes including Rhodamine B (RhB), methylene blue (MB) and methyl orange (MO) under solar irradiation was systemically investigated. When the mass ratio of Bi 2 WO 6 to TiO 2 was 1:4, the Bi 2 WO 6 /TiO 2 composites exhibited the highest photocatalytic degradation efficiency, the highest degradation efficiency of RhB and MB reached 95.2 % and 89.3 %, which could be attributed to the construction of heterojunction structure between TiO 2 and Bi 2 WO 6. The optical absorption capacity of Bi 2 WO 6 /TiO 2 composites was stronger than pure TiO 2. Furthermore, the radicalquenching experiments proved that ·O 2 – and h+ played crucial roles in the photocatalytic reaction. The suitable band structure of Bi 2 WO 6 and TiO 2 revealed the Z-Scheme pathway and possible photocatalytic mechanism of Bi 2 WO 6 /TiO 2 composites for organic dyes degradation. The basic leucine zipper (bZIP) transcription factors (TFs) function importantly in numerous life processes in plants. However, bZIP members and their biological roles remain unknown in Camelina sativa , a worldwide promising oil crop. Here, 220 CsbZIP proteins were identified in camelina and classified into thirteen groups. Two and 347 pairs of tandem and segmental duplication genes were detected to be underwent purification selection, with segmental duplication as the main driven-force of CsbZIP gene family expansion. Most CsbZIP genes displayed a tissue-specific expression pattern. Particularly, CsbZIP-A12 significantly positively correlated with many FA/oil biosynthesis-related genes, indicating CsbZIP-A12 may regulate lipid biosynthesis. Notably, yeast one-hybrid (Y1H), β-Glucuronidase (GUS), dual-luciferase (LUC) and EMSA assays evidenced that CsbZIP-A12 located in nucleus interacted with the promoters of CsSAD2–3 and CsFAD3–3 genes responsible for unsaturated fatty acid (UFA) synthesis, thus activating their transcriptions. Overexpression of CsbZIP-A12 led to an increase of total lipid by 3.275 % compared to the control, followed with oleic and α-linolenic acid levels enhanced by 3.4 % and 5.195 %, and up-regulated the expressions of CsSAD2–3 , CsFAD3–3 and CsPDAT2–3 in camelina seeds. Furthermore, heterogeneous expression of CsbZIP-A12 significantly up-regulated the expressions of NtSAD2 , NtFAD3 and NtPDAT genes in tobacco plants, thereby improving the levels of total lipids and UFAs in both leaves and seeds without negative effects on other agronomic traits. Together, our findings suggest that CsbZIP-A12 upregulates FA/oil biosynthesis by activating CsSAD2–3 and CsFAD3–3 as well as possible other related genes. • A carbon-based electrocatalyst (BN-NLC) was developed. • Produced-syngas composition can be easily regulated on BN-NLC. • A wide tunable syngas of 0.2 ∼ 3.2 (H2 / CO) was achieved. Syngas generation by cost-effective carbons through CO 2 reduction reaction contributes greatly to environmental CO 2 mitigation. Herein, a series of B, N co-doping nanolayered carbon (BN-NLC) electrocatalysts are developed by molten-salt pyrolysis. The results show that, the products of CO 2 electroreduction on as-prepared BN-NLC are CO and H 2 with no liquid phase product. And the optimal BN-NLC (900 °C, n (C6H5)4BNa : n melamine =1:200) exhibits high selectivity (the faradaic efficiency of CO and H 2 is 83.45 % and 16.54 %, respectively) with the syngas ratio from 0.2 to 3.2 (H 2 / CO), easily regulated by controlling the applied potential during the CO 2 reduction process. Viscum coloratum (Kom.) Nakai has been traditionally used in China for nearly a thousand years to treat rheumatic diseases. However, its efficacy and mechanisms in treating rheumatoid arthritis (RA) have not been demonstrated. To investigate the anti-arthritic effects and molecular mechanisms of Viscum coloratum (Kom.) Nakai on collagen-induced arthritic mice through network pharmacology technology and experimental validation. First, the main ingredients of the extract of Viscum coloratum (Kom.) Nakai (EVC) were identified through chemical composition characterization using Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry (UPLC-MS). Then, the collagen-induced arthritis (CIA) model was established in DBA/1 J mice and the ameliorative effects of EVC on the progression of CIA mice were evaluated by oral treatment with different doses of the EVC for 28 days. After that, cytokine antibody microarray assay was used to detect the levels of multiple inflammation-related cytokines and chemokines in each group, and performed Gene ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genome (KEGG) enrichment analysis. Subsequently, the potential target for the effective chemical components of EVC in treating RA was identified using various databases. Additionally, a drug-disease target protein-protein interaction network (PPI) was conducted using Cytoscape for visualization and clustering, while GO and KEGG enrichment analyses were performed with the Metascape database. Finally, identified phenotypes and targets by network pharmacology analysis were experimentally validated in vivo. Treatment with EVC significantly suppressed the severity of CIA with a dramatic reduction of paw swelling, arthritis index, levels of IgGs (IgG, IgG1, IgG2a, and IgG2b), multi-inflammation-related cytokines and chemokines on the progression of CIA. Histopathological examinations showed EVC could markedly inhibit inflammatory cell infiltration, tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase (TRAP) activity of osteoclast, and bone destruction. Furthermore, GO and KEGG enrichment analyses revealed that EVC could ameliorate RA by inhibiting osteoclast differentiation and regulating multiple signaling pathways including Osteoclast differentiation, IL-17, and TNF. PPI network analysis demonstrated that AKT1, MMP9, MAPK3, and other genes were highly related to EVC in treating RA. Finally, we proved that EVC could inhibit the expression of NFTAc1, MMP9, Cathepsin K, and AKT which were closely related to osteoclast activity. EVC could treat RA through multiple components, multiple targets, and multiple pathways. The present study demonstrated the therapeutic efficacy of EVC and its molecular mechanisms in treating RA, indicating that it would be a potent candidate as a novel botanical drug for further investigation.
