As more people express their thoughts on products on various online shopping platforms, the feelings expressed in these opinions are becoming a significant source of information for marketers and buyers. These opinions have a big impact on consumers' decision to buy the best quality product. When there are too many features or a small number of records to analyze, the decision-making process gets difficult. A recent stream of study has used the conventional quantitative star score ratings and textual content reviews in this context. In this research, a decision-making framework is proposed that relies on feature-based opinions to analyze the textual content of reviews and classify buyer's opinions, thereby assisting consumers in making long-term purchases. The framework is proposed in this paper for product purchase decision making based on feature-based opinions and deep learning. Framework consists of four components: i) Pre-processing, ii) Feature extraction, iii) Feature-based opinion classification, and iv) Decision-making. Web scraping is used to obtain the dataset of Smartphone reviews, which is subsequently clean and pre-processed using tokenization and POS tagging. From the tagged dataset, noun labeled words are retrieved, and then the probable product's features are extracted. These feature-based sentences or reviews are processed using a word embedding to generate review vectors that identify contextual information. These word vectors are used to construct hidden vectors at the word and sentence levels using a hierarchical attention method. With respect to each feature, reviews are divided into five classes: extremely positive, positive, extremely negative, negative, and neutral. Word2vec is often used in text sentiment analysis to generate word vector, which maps the same word into the same vector. Although Word2vec plays a very good effect in the initial model training task, it still cannot solve the problems of polysemy and new use of old words, which leads to inaccurate extracted features and affects the final classification results. In this paper, BERT model was used to vectorize the review text of tourist attractions, and fusion attention mechanism and long and short-term memory model were used to extract the emotional features of the text for classification at the feature extraction layer. Human emotions are the mind’s responses to external stimuli, and due to their dynamic and unpredictable nature, research in this field has become increasingly important. There is a growing trend in utilizing deep learning and machine learning techniques for emotion recognition through EEG (electroencephalogram) signals. This paper presents an investigation based on a real-time dataset that comprises 15 subjects, consisting of 7 males and 8 females. The EEG signals of these subjects were recorded during exposure to video stimuli. The collected real-time data underwent preprocessing, followed by the extraction of features using various methods tailored for this purpose. The study includes an evaluation of model performance by comparing the accuracy and loss metrics between models applied to both raw and preprocessed data. The paper introduces the EEGEM (Electroencephalogram Ensemble Model), which represents an ensemble model combining LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory) and CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) to achieve the desired outcomes. Based on the facial expression features of students in a classroom, this paper analyzes the changes in angles between facial expression feature points using Dlib. Additionally, this paper proposes a novel algorithm for extracting variable scale template edge trend features. The algorithm adaptively processes the template based on the edge trend features of expression feature points, and use the proposed template slope normalization algorithm to achieve multi-scale template edge trend extraction. Then, DNN are used to recognize different listening expressions. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has faster recognition speed and better robustness when applied to classroom expression recognition. Recently, with the emergence of many image editing tools (photoshop, Topaz studio, etc.), the authenticity of images has been severely challenged. However, the performance of some existing traditional feature extraction methods and detection methods based on convolutional neural network (CNN) is poor, and the information provided by the features extracted from the network is limited and single. In this paper, an end-to-end ringed residual U-Net is proposed to detect image splicing forgery by blending features of non-natural regions. Some regions with significant differences from the image background are defined as non-natural regions(such as the irregular border at the splicing of images). In this paper, a feature enhancement module for non-natural regions is constructed, which the image through the pooling of four different scales, and these features are then combined with the original image and input to the backbone network for processing, aiming to highlight regions of the image that differ significantly from the background. Therefore, after adding the feature enhancement module for non-natural regions to the end-to-end ring residual U-Net, more attention will be paid to the tampering regions in the feature extraction stage, image manipulation detection and localization will also become more accurate. With the advancement of modern medical concepts, the beneficial effects of music on human health have gradually become accepted, and the corresponding music therapy has gradually become a new research direction that has received much attention in recent years. However, folk music has certain peculiarities that lead to the fact that there is no efficient way of selecting repertoire that can be carried out directly throughout the repertoire selection. This paper combines deep learning theory with ethnomusic therapy based on previous research and proposes a deep learning-based approach to ethnomusic therapy song selection. Since the feature extraction process in the traditional sense has insufficient information on each frame, excessive redundancy, inability to process multiple frames of continuous music signals containing relevant music features and weak noise immunity, it increases the computational effort and reduces the efficiency of the system. To address the above shortcomings, this paper introduces deep learning methods into the feature extraction process, combining the feature extraction process of the Deep Auto-encoder (DAE) with the music classification process of Gaussian mixture model, which forms a new DAE-GMM music classification model. Finally, in terms of music therapy selection, this paper compares the music selection method based on co-matrix and physiological signal with the one in this paper. From the theoretical and simulation plots, it can be seen that the method proposed in this paper can achieve both good music classifications from a large number of music and further optimize the process of music therapy song selection from both subjective and objective aspects by considering the therapeutic effect of music on patients. Skin lesion segmentation from dermatoscopic images is essential for the diagnosis of skin cancer. However, it is still a challenging task due to the ambiguity of the skin lesions, the irregular shape of the lesions and the presence of various interfering factors. In this paper, we propose a novel Ambiguous Context Enhanced Attention Network (ACEANet) based on the classical encoder-decoder architecture, which is able to accurately and reliably segment a variety of lesions with efficiency. Specifically, a novel Ambiguous Context Enhanced Attention module is embedded in the skip connection to augment the ambiguous boundary information. A Dilated Gated Fusion block is employed in the end of the encoding phase, which effectively reduces the loss of spatial location information due to continuous downsampling. In addition, we propose a novel Cascading Global Context Attention to fuse feature information generated by the encoder with features generated by the decoder of the corresponding layer. In order to verify the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed network, we have performed comparative experiments on ISIC2018 dataset and PH2 dataset. Breast cancer is one of the cancers with high morbidity and mortality in the world, which is a serious threat to the health of women. With the development of deep learning, the recognition about computer-aided diagnosis technology is getting higher and higher. And the traditional data feature extraction technology has been gradually replaced by the feature extraction technology based on convolutional neural network which helps to realize the automatic recognition and classification of pathological images. In this paper, a novel method based on deep learning and wavelet transform is proposed to classify the pathological images of breast cancer. Firstly, the image flip technique is used to expand the data set, then the two-level wavelet decomposition and reconfiguration technology is used to sharpen and enhance the pathological images. Secondly, the processed data set is divided into the training set and the test set according to 8:2 and 7:3, and the YOLOv8 network model is selected to perform the eight classification tasks of breast cancer pathological images. Finally, the classification accuracy of the proposed method is compared with the classification accuracy obtained by YOLOv8 for the original BreaKHis dataset, and it is found that the algorithm can improve the classification accuracy of images with different magnifications, which proves the effectiveness of combining two-level wavelet decomposition and reconfiguration with YOLOv8 network model. Inter-shaft bearings are an essential component of aircraft engines, and their operational status determines the safety of aircraft engine operation. Therefore, to improve the accuracy of fault type prediction and enrich the feature information in vibration signals of aircraft engine inter-shaft bearings, this paper proposes an STFT-CNN model based on the AlexNet architecture, extending its application to the research of aircraft engine inter-shaft bearing fault diagnosis. This approach addresses the common reliance on personnel experience for fault type diagnosis in traditional aircraft engine inter-shaft bearing fault diagnosis. Firstly, real vibration fault signals from inter-shaft bearings are collected through experiments to enrich feature information in non-stationary signals using STFT time-frequency methods. Secondly, utilizing the high interpretability of the STFT-CNN model, fault feature data from inter-shaft bearings under various operating conditions are extracted to refine our understanding of fault feature information. Finally, leveraging the robustness of the STFT-CNN model, fault types are classified and predicted. The training process involves comparative analysis using different pooling algorithms, time-frequency analysis methods, and various deep learning network models. In order to solve the problem of low accuracy of time dimension feature extraction and classification of high-dimensional large data streams, this paper proposes a time dimension feature extraction and classification algorithm of high-dimensional large data streams based on unsupervised learning. Analyze the trend of high-dimensional data flow changes under machine learning, and achieve dimensionality reduction of high-dimensional large traffic time dimensional data through local save projection. Analyze the spatial relationship between feature attributes and feature space, segment and fit high-dimensional big data streams and time dimensional feature data streams, further segment time dimensional sequences using sliding windows, and complete feature extraction through discrete dyadic wavelet transform. According to the clustering algorithm, cluster the time dimension feature data stream, calculate the cosine similarity of the feature data, model the time dimension feature stream of training samples, use the feature classification function to minimize the classification loss, and use unsupervised learning to achieve the final classification task. It is still a challenging problem to detect small defects for eddy current array probes, which requires the probes to possess excellent sensitivity, as well as high spatial resolution. This paper presents a novel high-resolution magnetic field imaging probe with two rows of tunneling magnetoresistance (TMR) array sensors. The bare die sensors are integrated on a printed circuit board by golden wire bonding technology. The two rows of sensors are placed staggered with each other. The data of the two arrays are merged into a matrix, in which way the image pixel pitch is increased to 0.25 mm. The probe employs a differential scheme to suppress the noise, so as to detect the weak signal of small defects. To highlight the weak defect indications, feature extraction and segmentation algorithms are developed. The experimental results confirm that the proposed method can inspect a small defect with dimensions 1 mm (length) × 0.1 mm (width) × 0.1 mm (depth) on a stainless-steel sample. Adverse weather conditions, such as snow-covered roads, represent a challenge for autonomous vehicle research. This is particularly challenging as it might cause misalignment between the longitudinal axis of the vehicle and the actual direction of travel. In this paper, we extend previous work in the field of autonomous vehicles on snow-covered roads and present a novel approach for side-slip angle estimation that combines perception with a hybrid artificial neural network pushing the prediction horizon beyond existing approaches. We exploited the feature extraction capabilities of convolutional neural networks and the dynamic time series relationship learning capabilities of gated recurrent units and combined them with a motion model to estimate the side-slip angle. Subsequently, we evaluated the model using the 3DCoAutoSim simulation platform, where we designed a suitable simulation environment with snowfall, friction, and car tracks in snow. The results revealed that our approach outperforms the baseline model for prediction horizons ⩾ 2 seconds. This extended prediction horizon has practical implications, by providing drivers and autonomous systems with more time to make informed decisions, thereby enhancing road safety. News text is an important branch of natural language processing. Compared to ordinary texts, news text has significant economic and scientific value. The characteristics of news text include structural hierarchy, diverse label categories, and limited high-quality annotation samples. Many machine learning and deep learning methods exist to analyze various forms of news text. However, due to label imbalance, hierarchical semantics, and confusing labels, current methods have limitations. Therefore, this paper proposes a news text classification framework based on hierarchical semantics and prior correction (HSPC). Firstly, data augmentation is used to enhance the diversity of the training set and adversarial learning is employed to improve the resistance of the model with its robustness. Then, a hierarchical feature extraction approach is employed to extract semantic features from different levels of news texts. Consequentially, a feature fusion method is designed to allow the model to focus on relevant hierarchical semantics for label classification. Finally, highly confusing label predictions are corrected to optimize the label prediction of the model and improve confidence. Multiple experiments are performed on four widely used public datasets. The experimental results indicate that HSPC achieves higher classification accuracy compared to other models. On the FCT, AGNews, THUCNews, and Ohsumed datasets, HSPC improves the accuracy by 1.03%, 1.38%, 2.55%, and 1.15%, respectively, compared to state-of-the-art methods. Neuroimaging technology is considered a non-invasive method research the structure and function of the brain which have been widely used in neuroscience, psychiatry, psychology, and other fields. The development of Deep Learning Neural Network (DLNN), based on the deep learning algorithms of neural imaging techniques in brain disease diagnosis plays a more and more important role. In this paper, a deep neural network imaging technology based on Stack Auto-Encoder (SAE) feature extraction is constructed, and then Support Vector Machine (SVM) was used to solve binary classification problems (Alzheimer's disease [AD] and Mild Cognitive Impairment [MCI]). Four sets of experimental data were employed to perform the training and testing stages of DLNN. The number of neurons in each of the DLNNs was determined using the grid search technique. In order to enhance the accuracy and reliability of fault diagnosis in chemical processes, this paper proposes a methodology for chemical process fault diagnosis based on an improved SE-ResNet-BiGRU neural network. Initially, the ResNet model is enhanced by incorporating the SENet mechanism, enabling the extraction of features from input data and selectively enhancing them, thereby strengthening the model's ability to capture crucial features. Subsequently, the BiGRU model is employed to perform temporal modeling on the extracted features, allowing for better capture of dynamic changes in fault signals. In order to validate the effectiveness of this approach, experiments are conducted using the TE chemical process dataset. The results are analyzed using methods such as ROC-AUC, confusion matrix, and t-SNE visualization. The improved SE-ResNet-BiGRU model achieves a testing accuracy of 97.78% and an average fault diagnosis rate of 97.24%. Compared to other deep learning methods, this methodology exhibits significant improvements in fault diagnosis rate and reliability. Efficient feature representation is the key to improving crowd counting performance. CNN and Transformer are the two commonly used feature extraction frameworks in the field of crowd counting. CNN excels at hierarchically extracting local features to obtain a multi-scale feature representation of the image, but it struggles with capturing global features. Transformer, on the other hand, could capture global feature representation by utilizing cascaded self-attention to capture remote dependency relationships, but it often overlooks local detail information. Therefore, relying solely on CNN or Transformer for crowd counting has certain limitations. In this paper, we propose the TCHNet crowd counting model by combining the CNN and Transformer frameworks. The model employs the CMT (CNNs Meet Vision Transformers) backbone network as the Feature Extraction Module (FEM) to hierarchically extract local and global features of the crowd using a combination of convolution and self-attention mechanisms. To obtain more comprehensive spatial local information, an improved Progressive Multi-scale Learning Process (PMLP) is introduced into the FEM, guiding the network to learn at different granularity levels. The features from these three different granularity levels are then fed into the Multi-scale Feature Aggregation Module (MFAM) for fusion. Finally, a Multi-Scale Regression Module (MSRM) is designed to handle the multi-scale fused features, resulting in crowd features rich in high-level semantics and low-level detail. Pedestrian detection plays a crucial role in ensuring traffic safety within the domain of computer vision. However, accurately detecting pedestrians in complex environments proves to be a challenge due to issues such as occlusion. To address this issue, this paper presents an end-to-end pedestrian detection model founded on the DEtection TRansformer (DETR) architecture, effectively managing occlusion scenarios. The proposed model comprises a backbone Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and a Transformer network. The backbone CNN incorporates variable convolution and U-Net design principles to enhance feature extraction capabilities, particularly for occluded pedestrians. Additionally, our innovative Adaptive Occlusion-Aware Attention Mechanism (AOAM) is embedded within the Transformer network, allowing the model to dynamically adjust attention weights and enhance the localization and identification of occluded pedestrians. Military object military object detection technology serves as the foundation and critical component for reconnaissance and command decision-making, playing a significant role in information-based and intelligent warfare. However, many existing military object detection models focus on exploring deeper and more complex architectures, which results in models with a large number of parameters. This makes them unsuitable for inference on mobile or resource-constrained combat equipment, such as combat helmets and reconnaissance Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). To tackle this problem, this paper proposes a lightweight detection framework. A CSP-GhostnetV2 module is proposed in our method to make the feature extraction network more lightweight while extracting more effective information. Furthermore, to fuse multiscale information in low-computational scenarios, GSConv and the proposed CSP-RepGhost are used to form a lightweight feature aggregation network. Ageing and its related health conditions bring many challenges not only to individuals but also to society. Various MRI techniques are defined for the early detection of age-related diseases. Researchers continue the prediction with the involvement of different strategies. In that manner, this research intends to propose a new brain age prediction model under the processing of certain steps like preprocessing, feature extraction, feature selection, and prediction. The initial step is preprocessing, where improved median filtering is proposed to reduce the noise in the image. After this, feature extraction takes place, where shape-based features, statistical features, and texture features are extracted. Particularly, Improved LGTrP features are extracted. However, the curse of dimensionality becomes a serious issue in this aspect that shrinks the efficiency of the prediction level. According to the "curse of dimensionality," the number of samples required to estimate any function accurately increases exponentially as the number of input variables increases. Hence, a feature selection model with improvement has been introduced in this paper termed an improved Chi-square. Finally, for prediction purposes, a Hybrid classifier is introduced by combining the models like Bi-GRU and DBN, respectively. Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most prevalent brain disorder which affects millions of people worldwide. Early detection is crucial for possible treatment. In this regard, machine learning (ML) approaches are widely utilized for AD detection. In this paper, we propose an ML-based method that drastically reduces the dimensionality of features while maintaining the relevant features and boosting the overall performance. To remove irrelevant features, first statistical feature extraction method is applied, and then further reduction among remaining features is applied by utilizing the harmony search method (HSM). The selected features are the most informative features that are fed to the different classifiers. To test the effectiveness of the proposed method, we deployed three classification techniques including support vector machine (SVM), k-nearest neighbor (k-NN), and decision tree (DT). The experimental results show that the proposed method has a higher performance while decreasing the dimensionality of feature space. To guarantee that the performance of the proposed method is accurate, we applied an ensemble of three classifiers (SVM, KNN, and DT) for classification. The results of the proposed method verify that this method can be successfully deployed for AD detection, due to its high performance and low dimensional features, and can help improve the accuracy and efficiency of Alzheimer's disease diagnosis. The proposed method demonstrated a significant improvement, achieving high performance in AD/HC classification, with accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, F1-score, MCC, and Cohen's Kappa rates reaching 95.5%, 97%, 94%, 95.56%, 0.9104, and 0.9109, respectively. AD/HC classification displayed the highest performance. In order to accurately estimate the disparity of ill-posed regions, such as weak texture and occlusion regions, we propose DSPANet, a stereo matching network that incorporates a dual-stream pyramid module and a channel and spatial attention module. The dual-stream pyramid module captures numerous complementary features from different layers by utilizing multi-resolution inputs and feature extraction blocks. This approach enables the learning of local detailed features at various scales. These features at various scales are then combined to calculate the stereo matching cost. By incorporating channel and spatial attention module into the feature extraction process to obtain richer and more concise contextual information, the matching cost can be constructed more accurately, which provides powerful conditions for subsequent cost aggregation. In the cost aggregation stage, we utilize the stacked hourglass module for both encoding and decoding. Additionally, we incorporate 3D global attention upsampling during the decoding stage, which enables high-level features to provide guidance information to low-level features in a simple way. We evaluate our proposed method on the Scene Flow dataset, as well as the KITTI2012 and KITTI2015 datasets. Breast cancer poses a significant health risk for women, demanding early detection to mitigate its mortality impact. Leveraging the power of Deep Learning (DL) in medical imaging, this paper introduces a hybrid model that integrates YOLOv7 and Half UNet for feature extraction. YOLOv7 identifies and localizes potential cancerous regions, while Half UNet focuses on extracting pertinent features with its encoder-decoder structure. The fusion of these discriminative features, coupled with feature selection via Coati Optimization, ensures a comprehensive and optimized dataset. The selected features then feed into the CatBoost classification algorithm, refining parameters iteratively for precise predictions and minimizing the loss function. Evaluation metrics, including precision, recall, specificity, and accuracy, demonstrate the model's superior performance. Notably, the proposed model surpasses existing methods in early-stage breast cancer detection. Beyond numerical metrics, its significance lies in the potential to positively impact patient outcomes and increase survival rates. Unusual crowd activity detection is a challenging problem in surveillance video applications because feature extraction is difficult process in crowded scenes. The main objective of this research work is to detect unusual crowd activities and to detect unusual splits of moving objects. Various methods have been employed to address these challenges. However, there is still a lack of appropriate handling of this problem due to frames having occlusion, noise, and congestion. This paper proposes a novel clustering approach to detect unusual crowd activities. The proposed method consists of five phases including foreground extraction, foreground enhancement, foreground estimation, clustering crowds, and the Unusual Crowd Activities (UCA) model. The UCA model can find unusual crowd activities and unusual splits of moving objects using the Laplacian Matrix formulation. Two public datasets viz. PETS 2009 and UMN dataset are used for evaluating the proposed methodology. To estimate the effectiveness of the proposed work, several unusual event detection methods are compared with the proposed work results. In recent years, 3D object detection based on LiDAR point clouds is a key component of autonomous driving. In pursuit of enhancing the accuracy of 3D point cloud feature extraction and point cloud detection, this paper introduces a novel 3D object detection model, termed as Graph Self-Attention-RCNN (GA-RCNN). This model is designed to integrate voxel information and point location information, enhancing the quality of 3D object proposals while maintaining contextual accuracy. The first stage rectifies the previous approach that relied on local features for preselected boxes, overlooking crucial global contextual information. An improved method is suggested in this work, utilizing BEV to capture long-range dependencies via a cross-attention mechanism. The second stage addresses the overreliance on local neighborhood point feature extraction. The Graph Self-Attention Pooling method is proposed, characterized by its dynamic computation of contribution weights for inputs. This enhances the model's flexibility and generalization performance. Conducted electromagnetic emissions from interconnecting cables in computer systems can lead to internal information leakage and cause information security problems. However, unintentionally leaked EM signals are characterized by low signal-to-noise ratio and random noise, making it difficult to recover the original signal. In this paper, we propose a denoising model (S-DnCNN) based on an improved DnCNN to better recover the original signal. The network structure consists of three parts: feature mapping generation, low-dimensional feature extraction, and original reconstruction. To improve the noise extraction capability, we use Leaky ReLU as the activation function of the CNN, and introduce a residual structure and a convolutional attention module. The residual structure uses residual hopping to implicitly remove potentially clean images by hidden layer operations, thus training noisy data to recover clean data. We construct a one-dimensional selective convolution kernel (SKConv1d) and fuse it with local paths to form a feature extraction network, which improves the performance of the network. Temporal link prediction based on graph neural networks has become a hot spot in the field of complex networks. To solve the problems of the existing temporal link prediction methods based on graph neural networks do not consider the future time-domain features and spatial-domain features are limited used, this paper proposes a novel temporal link prediction method based on two streams adaptive graph neural networks. Firstly, the network topology features are extracted from the micro, meso, and middle perspectives. Combined with the adaptive mechanism of convolution and self-attention, the preprocessing of the feature extraction is more effective; Secondly, an extended bi-directional long short-term memory network is proposed, which uses graph convolution to process topological features, and recursively learns the state vectors of the target snapshot by using the future time-domain information and the past historical information; Thirdly, the location coding is replaced by the time-coding for the transformer mechanism, so that past information and future information can be learned from each other, and the time-domain information of the network can be further mined; Finally, a novel two-stream network framework is proposed, which combines the processing results of point features and edge features. With the medical internet of things, many automated diagnostic models related to eye diseases are easier. The doctors could quickly contrast and compare retina fundus images. The retina image contains a lot of information in the image. The task of detecting diabetic macular edema from retinal images in the healthcare system is difficult because the details in these images are very small. This paper proposed the new model based on the medical internet of things for predicting diabetic macular edema in retina fundus images. The method called DMER (Diabetic Macular Edema in Retina fundus images) to detect diabetic macular edema in retina fundus images based on improving deep residual network being combined with feature pyramid network in the context of the medical internet of things. The DMER method includes the following stages: (i) ResNet101 improved combining with feature pyramid network is used to extract features of the image and obtain the map of these features; (ii) a region proposal network to look for potential anomalies; and (iii) the predicted bounding boxes against the true bounding box by the regression method to certify the capability of macular edema. The MESSIDOR and DIARETDB1 datasets are used for testing with evaluation criteria such as sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy. The accuracy of the DMER method is about 98.08% with MESSIDOR dataset and 98.92% with DIARETDB1 dataset. Accurate identification and monitoring of aircraft on the airport surface can assist managers in rational scheduling and reduce the probability of aircraft conflicts, an important application value for constructing a "smart airport." For the airport surface video monitoring, there are small aircraft targets, aircraft obscuring each other, and affected by different weather, the aircraft target clarity is low, and other complex monitoring problems. In this paper, a lightweight model network for video aircraft recognition in airport field video in complex environments is proposed based on SSD network incorporating coordinate attention mechanism. First, the model designs a lightweight feature extraction network with five feature extraction layers. Each feature extraction layer consists of two modules, Block_A and Block_I. The Block_A module incorporates the coordinate attention mechanism and the channel attention mechanism to improve the detection of obscured aircraft and to enhance the detection of small targets. The Block_I module uses multi-scale feature fusion to extract feature information with rich semantic meaning to enhance the feature extraction capability of the network in complex environments. Then, the designed feature extraction network is applied to the improved SSD detection algorithm, which enhances the recognition accuracy of airport field aircraft in complex environments. It was tested and subjected to ablation experiments under different complex weather conditions. The results show that compared with the Faster R-CNN, SSD, and YOLOv3 models, the detection accuracy of the improved model has been increased by 3.2%, 14.3%, and 10.9%, respectively, and the model parameters have been reduced by 83.9%, 73.1%, and 78.2% respectively. Compared with the YOLOv5 model, the model parameters are reduced by 38.9% when the detection accuracy is close, and the detection speed is increased by 24.4%, reaching 38.2fps, which can well meet the demand for real-time detection of aircraft on airport surfaces. Semantic segmentation has made tremendous progress in recent years. The development of large datasets and the regression of convolutional models have enabled effective training of very large semantic model. Nevertheless, higher capacity indicates a higher computational problem, thus preventing real-time operation. Yet, due to the limited annotations, the models may have relied heavily on the available contexts in the training data, resulting in poor generalization to previously unseen scenes. Therefore, to resolve these issues, Enhanced Gated Pyramid network (GPNet) with Lightweight Attention Module (LAM) is proposed in this paper. GPNet is used for semantic feature extraction and GPNet is enhanced by the pre-trained dilated DetNet and Dense Connection Block (DCB). LAM approach is applied to habitually rescale the different feature channels weights. LAM module can increase the accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed methodology. The performance of proposed method is validated using Google Colab environment with different datasets such as Cityscapes, CamVid and ADE20K. The experimental results are compared with various methods like GPNet-ResNet-101 and GPNet-ResNet-50 in terms of IoU, precision, accuracy, F1 score and recall.
