Let X be a complex Banach space, and denote by \mathcal {B}(X) the algebra of all bounded linear operators on X. Let C,D\in \mathcal {B} \left (X\right) be fixed operators. In this paper, we characterize linear, continuous and bijective maps \varphi and \psi on \mathcal {B}\left (X\right) for which there exist invertible operators T_0, W_0 \in \mathcal { B}(X) such that \varphi (T_0), \psi (W_0) \in \mathcal {B}(X) are both invertible, having the property that \varphi \left (A\right) \psi \left (B\right) =D in \mathcal {B}(X) whenever AB=C in \mathcal {B}(X). As a corollary, we deduce the form of linear, bijective and continuous maps \varphi on \mathcal {B}(X) having the property that \varphi \left (A\right) \varphi \left (B\right) =D in \mathcal {B}(X) whenever AB=C. In this paper, we introduce a strongly quasi-local version of the coarse Novikov conjecture, which states that a certain assembly map from the coarse Khomology of a metric space to the K-theory of its strongly quasi-local algebra is injective. We prove that the conjecture holds for metric spaces with bounded geometry which can be coarsely embedded into Banach spaces with Property (H), as introduced by Kasparov and Yu. We also generalize the notion of strong quasi-locality to proper metric spaces and provide a (strongly) quasi-local picture for K-homology. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper, we consider a supersymmetric version of block-symmetric polynomials on a Banach space of two-sided absolutely summing series of vectors in C s for some positive integer s > 1. We describe some sequences of generators of the algebra of block-supersymmetric polynomials and algebraic relations between the generators for the finite-dimensional case and construct algebraic bases of block-supersymmetric polynomials in the infinite-dimensional case. Furthermore, we propose some consequences for algebras of block-supersymmetric analytic functions of bounded type and their spectra. Finally, we consider some special derivatives in algebras of block-symmetric and block-supersymmetric analytic functions and find related Appell-type sequences of polynomials. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
