Abstract
A recent study from Harvard University explores the economic implications of social distancing and vaccination in the context of infectious diseases. The research suggests that while social distancing and vaccination can be substitutes for each other, vaccination is more socially efficient due to its long-term risk reduction benefits. Policies that promote vaccination are found to increase vaccination rates and reduce future infection rates, while policies that promote social distancing may inadvertently discourage vaccine adoption and lead to increased infection rates. This peer-reviewed research provides valuable insights into the complex interplay between public health interventions. [Extracted from the article]
