With the progress of society and the development of information technology, there are more and more resources that can be used for teaching in colleges and universities. Among them, image resources as a kind of high-quality teaching resource, and how to use it to help improve teaching in colleges and universities has become a problem that more and more teachers study. Based on the ADDIE instructional design model, this paper proposes an improved method of college teaching based on the ADDIE model using image resources by studying the problems in college teaching and the use of teaching images. Through the practice of the experimental class, it was found that the average satisfaction of students reached 61.46% compared to the control class, which increased by about 5 percentage points compared to 55.11% in the control class. The average teacher satisfaction also increased from 67.39% to 70.14%, a relative increase of 4.08%. This indicates that both students and teachers perceive the ADDIE model-based imaging instruction to be better than the original classroom. The comparison of student assignment ratings between the experimental and control classes shows that the percentage of students who received an excellent grade increased by 2.6%, those who received a good grade increased by 4.5% from the original, those who rated the assignment as fair decreased by 4.1%, and those who failed decreased by 3%, a decrease of 28.57% from the previous year. This indicates that the improved teaching classroom based on the ADDIE model can improve students’ attention to the classroom, enhance students’ willingness to learn actively and improve the teaching effectiveness of the college classroom. In conclusion, the improved teaching method based on the ADDIE model using video resources proposed in this paper is feasible and can help promote the innovation and optimization of teaching modes in colleges and universities.

Chinese yam (Dioscorea polystachya Turczaninow) is widely cultivated in East Asia, whose edible stem is a common vegetable and herb in traditional Chinese medicine. In fruit and vegetable processing, browning is estimated to be a major reason of waste. Browning lowers the nutrition value and brings undesired characteristics in food processing. To develop a secure and low-cost browning inhibiting protocol in yam processing, different thermal treatment conditions and color protectants were tested for their color-protecting ability. Color difference ΔE was calculated to evaluate the browning with a colorimeter. To ensure that the color-protecting treatment does not influence the quality of yam, texture properties and nutrition compositions were quantified. The optimal treatment is as follows: deactivate yam in water bath of 60°C for 10 min and then incubate in 2 g/L citric acid and 1 g/L ascorbic acid for 1 hour. The treatment led to significant decrease of the color difference, with no obvious changes in the texture properties and nutrition value. BACKGROUND: Sclerotinia stem rot caused by Sclerotinia sclerotiorum seriously endangers oilseed rape production worldwide, and the occurrence of fungicide‐resistant mutants of S. sclerotiorum leads to control decline. Thus, it is critical to explore new green substitutes with different action mechanisms and high antifungal activity. Herein, the activity and the action mechanism of natamycin against S. sclerotiorum were evaluated. RESULTS: Natamycin showed potent inhibition on the mycelial growth of S. sclerotiorum, and half‐maximal effective concentration (EC50) values against 103 S. sclerotiorum strains ranged from 0.53 to 4.04 μg/mL (mean 1.44 μg/mL). Natamycin also exhibited high efficacy against both carbendazim‐ and dimethachlone‐resistant strains of S. sclerotiorum on detached oilseed rape leaves. No cross‐resistance was detected between natamycin and carbendazim. Natamycin markedly disrupted hyphal form, sclerotia formation, integrity of the cell membrane, and reduced the content of oxalic acid and ergosterol, whereas it increased the reactive oxygen species (ROS) and malondialdehyde content. Interestingly, exogenous addition of ergosterol could reduce the inhibition of natamycin against S. sclerotiorum. Importantly, natamycin significantly inhibited expression of the Cyp51 gene, which is contrary to results for the triazole fungicide flusilazole, indicating a different action mechanism from triazole fungicides. The hydrogenation of carbon dioxide (CO2) to produce light olefins is one of the most promising ways to utilize CO2 in power plant flue gas. However, the low concentration of CO2 (~10%) and the existence of water steam in the flue gas pose great challenges for the catalyst design. To address these problems, we introduced a Mg promoter and hydrophobic component into the Fe-based catalyst to improve the CO2 adsorption capacity and weaken the negative effects of water. The yield of light olefins on an optimized multifunctional Fe-based catalyst increased by 37% in low-concentration CO2 hydrogenation with water steam. A variety of characterizations proved that the Mg promoter played critical roles in regulating the adsorption capacity of CO2, increasing the surface electron density of Fe species, and promoting the formation of iron carbide active sites. The hydrophobic component mainly contributed to constraining the oxidation of iron carbides via water steam. It benefited from the rational design of the catalyst, showing how our multifunctional Fe-based catalyst has great potential for practical application in CO2 utilization. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Erosion of solid particles in a pipe elbow containing a 90° angle is investigated by simulation methods. In the process of shale gas exploitation, the impact of solid particles carried by fluid on the inner surface wall of pipes, as well as the turbulent flow, cause the erosion of pipes, which brings about heavy economic losses for the oil and gas industry. In the impact erosion of the inner surface wall of the pipe, the worst erosion occurs at the elbow. In this study, the erosion of a pipe elbow which has been widely used in actual production is analyzed, and the influence of the fluid velocity, the solid particle size, and the wall roughness on the erosion is investigated. Additionally, the simulation results of the erosion with the rebound and freeze boundary conditions are compared, indicating that setting the freeze boundary condition could significantly improve the computational efficiency by 74% with the acceptable accuracy. In order to reduce the impact erosion in the pipe elbow containing a 90° angle, an optimal design is proposed that can reduce the maximum erosion rate by 52.4%. The soil dielectric constant model is essential for retrieving soil properties based on microwave remote sensing. However, the existing saline soil dielectric constant models perform poorly in simulating the dielectric constant of soil with high water content and salinity. In this study, the Wang Yueru (WYR) saline soil dielectric constant model, which was demonstrated to perform well in describing the effect of salinity and moisture on the dielectric constant, was validated based on experimental measurements of soil samples under different water content and salinity degrees. Furthermore, we adjusted the model form, refitted the empirical coefficient in the model, and finally acquired a two-stage model for simulating the soil dielectric constant. The enhanced model was validated under different soil moisture and salinity ranges using experimental measurements of soil samples. Compared to the original model, the proposed model exhibits a larger improvement in simulating the soil dielectric constant, and the RMSE of the simulated results dramatically decreased from 7.3 to 1.6, especially for soil with high salinity and water content. On this basis, a model suitable for L-band microwave was established. This model is of great significance for studying soil dielectric characteristics and retrieving soil parameters based on L-band data. Furthermore, this model can be used to retrieve soil salinity and water content using microwave remote sensing under a broadened application situation, such as in saline-alkali soils, wetlands, and salt marshes. The passive microwave land surface emissivity (MLSE) plays a crucial role in retrieving various land surface and atmospheric parameters and in Numerical Weather Prediction models. The retrieval accuracy of MLSE depends on many factors, including the consistency of the input data acquisition time. The FengYun-3D (FY-3D) polar-orbiting meteorological satellite, equipped with passive microwave and infrared bands, offers time-consistent data crucial for MLSE retrieval. This study proposes a physics-based MLSE retrieval algorithm using all the input data from the FY-3D satellite. Based on the retrieved MLSE, the spatial distribution of the MLSE is closely correlated with the land cover types and topography. Lower emissivities prevailed over barren or sparsely vegetated regions, river basins, and coastal areas. Higher emissivities dominated densely vegetated regions and mountainous areas. Moderate emissivities dominated grasslands and croplands. Lower-frequency channels showed larger emissivity differences with different polarizations than those of higher-frequency channels in barren or sparsely vegetated regions. The MLSE across densely vegetated land areas, mountainous areas, and deserts showed small seasonal variations. However, woody savannas, grasslands, croplands, and seasonal snow-covered areas showed noticeable seasonal variations. For most land cover types, the differences between vertically and horizontally polarized emissivities remained relatively constant across seasons. However, certain grasslands in eastern Inner Mongolia and southern Mongolia showed clear seasonal variations. It is very difficult to verify the MLSE on a large scale. Consequently, the possible error sources in the retrieved MLSE were analyzed, including the brightness temperature errors (correlation coefficient ranging from 0.92 to 0.99) and the retrieved land surface temperature errors (Root Mean Square Error was 3.34 K and relation coefficient was 0.958).
