This study examined the use of past examination question papers (PEQPs) among students and their overall recall rate during examinations. It employed the descriptive survey research design and used all the 255 undergraduate students who visit the library in Private Universities such as Novena University Library Ogume, Western Delta University, Oghara, Michael and Cecilia Ibru University, Library, Agbrha -Otor James Hope University, Edwin Clak University Library, Kaigbodo; Sports University, Library Idumuje, Ugboko, Margaret Lawrence University, Umunede Library, and Admirality University of Nigeria, Library Ibusa Ugwashi-Uku for PEQPs. Data for the study were collected in two phases over a period of two academic semesters with the first phase focusing on respondents' collection of PEQPs, and the second phase requiring them to complete a questionnaire designed to elicit information on why they use PEQPs, what they gain and the overall outcome of their reliance on same. The study found that fresher rely more on (PEQPs), and most students use PEQPs as study guides as against pretesting themselves before an examination, the respondents do not see reliance on PEQPs as a major factor leading to improved academic performance of undergraduate students and this affects their perception of the effect PEQPs on their overall academic outcome. In this paper the author addresses two ethical issues concerning the duplicate submission of a research manuscript for publication to more than one Journal by the same author and he also narrates here his own real story of plagiarism of the results of his Ph.D. thesis and Preprints with a very well known and in a sense, a trivial modification which was very well settled in the research literature beforehand and he suggests some possible measures to curb such highly unethical academic malpractices which are rampant in the present scenario of research. Indian Fern Journal that is a half-yearly publication of Indian Fern Society, Chandigarh (India) is used as a source journal for conducting bibliometric studies on different aspects of its publication. It is continuously being published since 1984. However, its volume 33 (2016) to volume 37 (2020) are considered in the present study that is conducted for ascertaining authorship pattern, degree of collaboration and length of the paper with average range of citations per paper published in five consecutive issues of the Indian Fern Journal. The study aims to present a bibliometric analysis of the journal "Open Journal of Business and Management" towards providing summary of research activities and to characterize the important aspects. The present study is based on the bibliometrics analysis of the papers published during the period 2013-2021. The analysis mainly covers the year-wise distribution, category-wise classification, authorship patterns, degree of collaboration, geographical distribution of articles and the citation analysis. The analysis revealed that during the study period, 703 papers were published. In 2020 (172 articles, 24.46 percent) the maximum number of papers have been published and in 2013 has been the minimum (11 articles, 1.56 percent). The single author (282 papers, 40.02 per cent) followed the two categories of authors was the highest number of papers (31.62 percent). In the presented paper, authors propose a new estimator by combining two already exist ratio estimators and estimate the population mean in simple random sampling. Authors also determine the mean square error (MSE) of this estimator. This paper analyses the articles published from 2004 - 2017 by Mother Theresa Women's University Kodaikanal, Tamilnadu. The data were retrieved from India Citation Index during the period. The study 122 publications were published by the university and the highest numbers of research papers 115 were published in the form of articles. Majority of the articles were contributed by two authors with publication of 33 articles and value of degree of collaboration was 0.992. This paper presents a bibliometric study of the articles and citations given in the KELPRO Bulletin: A Bi-Annual Journal of Kerala Library Professionals’ Organisation published during 1997-2014. This paper includes year-wise distribution of articles, authorship pattern, geographical distribution of articles, subject coverage of articles, rank list of authors of KELPRO Bulletin articles of a particular period, etc. The analysis reveals that the Kelpro Bulletin has published an average of 15 articles per year, the maximum number of contributions are from single authors with 50.00%, and the analysis also shows that the majority of the contributions are from India with 98.89%. The majority of contributions (77= 28.52%) appeared under Computer Applications in library activities and services. The rank wise distribution of authors reveals that S. Humayoon Kabir occupies the top rank by contributing the highest number of articles (10) which has been followed by Manoj Kumar Sinha by contributing seven (7) research papers. The majority of the articles (44.81%) have a length of 6 to 10 pages. Most of the contributors preferred scholarly journals as the main source of information for writing their research papers/articles contributing to the highest number of citations (59.01%). This study has been conducted to measure the collaborative research among the social scientist at Jawaharlal Nehru University, India during the year 1998-2017. The sample of 2128 articles has been collected from the Scopus database during the year 1998-2017 and were analyzed to study the collaborative coefficient, collaborative index, year wise degree of collaboration, modified collaboration coefficient, co-authorship index and language wise distribution of articles. From this study, it is found that the growth rate of publications in the social sciences is rapidly increasing. The collaborative coefficient is below 0.5 which implies that single-authored papers are dominating. The co-authorship index for the single-authored paper is higher, and the degree of collaboration is low as the value is 0. The research articles are the preferred format to publish in the journals. This study was limited to the data collected from the Scopus database during the period 1998-2017. The findings have significant implications for the researchers/scholars to know the growth and trend of collaborative research in the social sciences. The UGC has recognized the department of Chemistry Guru Nanak Dev University as the centre for advanced studies (CAS) in 2008 and has been decorated the university with status of "University with potential of excellence" (UPE) in 2012. This paper brings out the strong positive impact of these UGC research and education promotion programmes on the quantity and quality of research in department of chemistry during the period 2007-2014 in comparison to period 2002- 2006. The number of research papers published during the period of 2007-2014 has been 105/year which is almost double the papers (54 papers/year) published during 2002-2006. The paper brings out the results of a bibliometric analysis of the journal titled "Library Progress (International)" for the period from 2004 to 2015. The data were downloaded from the Indian Citation Index database. This study aims at analyzing the research output performance of Library scientists on library & information science subjects. The paper analyzes a citation study of 260 articles (62 times cited) were published from 2004 to 2015 in the Library Progress (International). The paper covers the bibliometric analyses of year-wise publication of articles, volume-wise, issue-wise, authorship patterns, institutions-wise publication of contributions, country-wise, state wise and city wise publication of articles. The result showed that out of 260 articles multiple authors contributed 72.69%, while the rest of 27.31% articles were contributed by single author. The current study intends to examine trends in authorship patterns and collaborative research in the field of encephalitis. The PubMed database was used as the primary source of data for the study, which considered 19638 papers on encephalitis published between 2013 and 2022. The study investigates several types of collaboration and collaboration measurements such as the Degree of Collaboration, the Collaborative Index, the collaborative coefficient and modified coefficient, and the authorship pattern. According to the study's findings, the year-by-year distribution depicts how scientific production develops year by year, with the highest production in 2021 (14.42%) and the lowest production in 2018 (7.99%). In the topic of Encephalitis, collaborative authorship accounts for over 90% (18708), whereas single-author publication accounts for only 4.74% (930). It has been observed that collaborative research is on the rise in this subject. During the study period from 2013 to 2016, the degree of collaboration ranged from 0.92 to1.01, with an average of 0.97. The average index is now 5.97, up from 5.63 to 6.27. The collaborative and modified coefficients grew from 0.72 to 0.75, resulting in an average CC of 0.75. Finally, the research suggests that collaboration is on the rise in the field of encephalitis. Purpose: This study assessed the use of electronic resources by the faculty members who are currently employed in two government colleges in capital of Sikkim. The purpose of this paper is to explain readers about many kinds of electronic resources, as well as the benefits, frequency, barriers, and of using them. Methodology: Out the 167 questionnaires that were developed for this study, only 157 were completed and returned by a faculty member of two government institutions with a response. The data was analysed using a table and chart. Findings: Since many faculty members are engaged in research programme there has been a noticeable rise in the usage of e-journals. In addition to instructional activities, research activities have also been enhanced. These include conducting literature reviews, writing reports, locating research, and turning in reports on time. Faculty members use these tools mostly from home because it is always available and accessible. Furthermore, it was discovered that two government colleges' faculties are well-versed in e-resources. This study intends to analyse the research trends, growth, and collaboration patterns in the field of Water Resources in India. The source for the data collection is the Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection Database. A total of 797 publications published during the period from 2016 to 2021 satisfying these search criteria were pulled out to perform further analysis. This study revealed that Water Resources Management is the most productive journal with 26 articles (3.26%), followed by Arabian Journal of Geosciences 22 (2.76%), Environmental Earth Sciences 21 (2.63%) publications got 2nd and 3rd rank respectively. the year 2020 highest number of articles 236 (29%) were published on water resources followed by the year 2019 with 149 (18.69%).The Most productive author Malik, Anurag from Punjab Agricultural University is in the top position with 16 (2.007%) published articles. 177 (22.2%) of the total publication have two authored contributions taking the first position. Indian Institute of Technology Bombay published the highest number of articles i.e., 48 (6.02%) occupy 1st rank. The paper examined the emergence and important role of blended librarianship as a fulcrum of relevance for librarians in Nigerian universities. It x-rayed the global trends in blended librarianship vis-à-vis the Nigerian situation. Furthermore, the study considered perceived challenges libraries may be confronted with in deploying relevant ICT infrastructure geared towards transitioning from traditional to hybrid services provision for the successful implementation of blended librarianship. A structured questionnaire was used for the data collection and data have been analyzed using Google form. Print resources were used majority with 81.02% and e-resources was 76.4%.Majority of faculty and students were visit the library to read newspaper, to read subject books, to update knowledge and to take question paper sequentially. The study has demonstrated the high use of print resource (81.02%). Most of them used print and electronic resources on daily basis for various academic purposes. The results of the study have clear implications for computer literacy instruction in the context of accessing electronic resources. The study recommends that there is a need to conduct intensive training to acquire the essential search strategies for effective information retrieval. The findings of the study will be helpful to the librarians and authorities of the college to enhance the Internet bandwidth to increase the internet speed for effective and efficient use of electronic resources among the students. This paper is titled adoption of alternative funding sources for Nigerian Academic Libraries outside Government Sources in the Post-Recession Economy. The paper dwelt on alternative funding of academic libraries in Nigeria and why it has become imperative in the post-recession economy of Nigeria. It has been reported in this paper that funding allocation to tertiary education and particularly academic libraries in Nigeria as a result of economic recession has been notoriously weak. This paper highlighted key funding alternative sources that can bring out the academic libraries in Nigeria from the wood, these include: call for library grants, call for alumni intervention, donations from philanthropists, gifts and fundraising and so on. The paper also stressed the reasons why it is important for library schools in Nigeria to encourage grant proposal writing to training librarians. In conclusion, this paper is going to be an eye opener in generating fund for the survival of academic libraries for practicing librarians in academic libraries in Nigeria and beyond. Nowadays, great effort has been focused on various kinds of batteries commonly referred to as electric energy storage systems (EESS), such as lithium-related batteries, sodium-related batteries, zinc-related batteries, aluminum-related batteries and so on. Some cathodes can be used for these batteries, such as sulfur, oxygen, layered compounds. In the present article, let us consider the basic battery configuration, i.e. they are mostly composed of cathode and anode metals. Such a classic System can be considered as "Two elements" model. Based on Neutrosophic Logic as developed by one of us (FS), we consider in this paper that actually we can extend it further to become a Neutrosophic battery system, consists of three-elements (or may be more), i.e. cathode-anode-catalyst system. Bibliometrics is a branch of Information science which contributes the quantitative evaluation of publication patterns of all macro and micro communication along with their authorships by mathematical and statistical calculation. The term Bibliometrics first used by Alan Pritchard, he discussed the very new discipline by which quantitative methods were employed to search scientific communication process by measuring and analyzing the diverse aspects of written document. Bibliometrics analysis is a process to establish the relationship between one works to other research works by mathematical and statistical calculations. The study covers the total numbers of articles, authorship pattern, subject wise classification of the contributions, degree of collaboration, subject wise distribution of articles, country wise classification, distribution of citations by volume, institute wise distribution of articles, length of the articles, author wise citations in the articles, compositions of citations etc. The study founded that each year the journal has distinguished of papers except the year 2010, In the context of authorship pattern the result shows that two-authored papers are in highest with 37% (77 papers) in the whole period (2005-2014), Average rate of degree of collaboration is 2.8, The journal information technology and people is enriched with the scholarly contribution of 25.6% countries across the world among these 25.6% countries like USA, UK, Australia, Finland, Canada, etc, The result shows that documentary materials are cited in maximum number (3881, [31%]) than non-documentary materials (8437[68%]) during the period of 2006 to 2015. Scientometric is defined as a technique for analysing and calculating different parameters which specify researcher's quantitative research output. This study examines scientometric analysis on Annona muricata (medicinal plant) by measuring and analysing the distribution of articles, year-wise, annual growth rate, authorship pattern, author productivity, relative growth rates, doubling time, degree of collaboration, ranked list of authors, and distribution of publications output. In this period of 31 years only 1236 publications were found. Publication of research in this field is not so much productive and only we have found that a maximum of 159 publications were published in 2020. Most prolific author is Hocquemiller, R. and at 1st rank in this field of Annona medicate. Brazil is at top position by publishing 269 publications followed by India (136). Universiti Putra Malaysia has taken lead by publishing 39 research papers. Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Cientafico e Tecnolagico funded 39 research publications only and at top position. 1194 publication are published in English language only. As an extension of the ongoing long term research work of the first author on the detailed mathematical and statistical analysis of the budget of the Bangalore Municipal Corporation (see, A. Sathyavathi https://ssrn.com/abstract=4461494), in the present paper we propose two possible regression models - the first one a polynomial regression model and the other one a nonlinear regression model to explain the observed trends of the revenue receipts and the revenue expenditures of the municipal corporations of the various Indian States including the Union Territory of Chandigarh for the 2017-18 Accounts Category, which pertains to the data of finances of municipal corporations of the various Indian States during the financial year 2017-2018. The present study is to identify the authorship patterns and the degree of collaboration in dental sciences research in India during 1997-2016. For this study, the required data have been collected from Web of Science database. Scientometric tools such as degree of collaboration, collaboration index have been used. Further, authors' productivity and impact has been analyzed. The study reveals that, total 3098 papers published by 12737 authors, the average number of authors per article is 4.12. The mean value of the degree of collaboration is 0.95 and collaborative index is3.90 during the study period. Pradeep. Following our previous article which recommends physicists to build models in the light of principle of parsimony, and also a review on A. Yefremov's research in the past few years (PSTJ, 2021), here we discuss a data-driven approach to astrophysics. Part of inspiration for this article came from a paper by Brunton, Proctor & Kutz (PNAS, April 12, 2016) and also lecture by the late Hannes Alfven. We begin with a review on how Newton's recipe to interpret Kepler's elliptical orbit law, actually led to a number of problematic questions. While we agree with Alfven that one should not infer the history of solar system just from the nature of planetary orbits (or deviations from that), and not from other present astronomy data, because those present data may be of little value to reveal the past history; instead from the data and improving Titius-Bode law, therefore we suggest to come up with a new hypothesis: "quantum matter inside a Newtonian universe." This paper brings up some important points about logic, e.g., mathematical logic, and also an inconsistence in logic as per Gödel's incompleteness theorems which state that there are mathematical truths that are not decidable or provable. These incompleteness theorems have shaken the solid foundation of mathematics where innumerable proofs and theorems have a place of pride. The great mathematician David Hilbert had been much disturbed by them. There are much long unsolved famous conjectures in mathematics, e.g., the twin primes conjecture, the Goldbach conjecture, the Riemann hypothesis, etc. Perhaps, by Gödel's incompleteness theorems the proofs for these famous conjectures will not be possible and the numerous mathematicians attempting to find the solutions for these conjectures are simply banging their heads against the metaphorical wall. Besides mathematics, Gödel's incompleteness theorems will have ramifications in other areas involving logic. This paper looks at the ramifications of the incompleteness theorems, which pose the serious problem of inconsistency, and offers a solution to this dilemma. This study aims to present the bibliometric characteristics of the Journal, Library Progress (International). The study is based on research articles appeared in the journal during the period from 2010 to 2015. It illustrates various important aspects like-growth of articles and authors, authorship patterns, author productivity, single-and multi-authored papers by year geographical distribution of articles and most prolific authors and trend of research collaborations among authors etc. The findings of the study revealed that majority of the articles are authored by two authors. It constitutes alone 70 (53.44%). It is followed by single author 41 (31.30%). The average number of authors per paper of this journal is 1.85 and the average productivity per author is 0.54. India since being the host country, as such proved to be the sole major contributors of the journal in every respect. Individual contribution of authors to the journal has been tabulated as per articles contributed, highlighted in their standing order. Researchers from 3 countries and 17 states from India have contributed articles to the journal during the period of study. Collaborative Index, Degree of Collaboration and Collaborative Coefficient were calculated from the data and the following mean values were found 0.54, 0.69 and 0.37 respectively. A substantial amount of research has focused on the persistence or availability of Web citations. The present study analyzes Web citation distributions. Web citations are defined as the mentions of the URLs of Web pages (Web resources) as references in academic papers. The present paper primarily focuses on the analysis of the URLs of Web citations. Initially, all issues of the Journal of Travel Research published during 2012 to 2021 were downloaded directly from their publisher websites. Afterwards, all the journals' citations in either print or Web formats were calculated manually. Then, availability and/or decay of individual cited URLs were examined in the Web environments. Research findings indicated that, a total of 2939 URLs cited in the 740 articles were examined. The percentage of URLs increased from 58 percent in 2012 to 90 percent in 2021. The study found that 40 percent of URLs were not accessible at the time of testing and the remaining 60 per-cent of URLs were accessible. The HTTP 404 error message - "file not found" was the overwhelming message encountered and represented 53.29 percent of all HTTP error messages. The study also noticed that the average half-life of URLs of missing URLs was estimated to be 4.94 years. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
