Wide deployment of deep neural networks (DNNs) based applications (e.g. , style transfer, cartoonish), stimulating the need for copyright protection of such application's production. Though some traditional visible copyright techniques exist, they often introduce undesired artifacts and compromise the aesthetic quality of the images. In this paper, we propose a novel invisible, robust copyright protection method, which is composed of two networks: the copyright encoder and the copyright decoder. The former projects the copyright information to the invisible perturbation with the drive of both the input of images and copyright information, thereby adding it to the image and yielding encoded images. The copyright decoder extracts copyright information from encoded images. Moreover, a robustness module is integrated to enhance the decoder's ability to decipher images against various distortions encountered on social media platforms. Furthermore, the loss function is elaborately designed, taking into account both feature space and color space, to guarantee the quality of encoded and decoded copyright images. Extensively objective and subjective experiments validate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Additionally, the physical test is conducted by posting the encoded images to social media (e.g. , Weibo and Twitter) and downloading them to verify the feasibility of the proposed method in practice. Adversarial examples have a simple additive structure that the clean sample is added with delicate devised noise. Inspired by such an observation, we find that the prediction of the network on adversarial examples can also be decoupled into a simple additive structure, which is the sum of clean samples and adversarial perturbations in terms of the model prediction (called the decoupling principle). Thus, our findings can be served as a useful tool to gain insight into the underlying relationship between the inputs and the outputs of the model. However, although the adversarial examples generated by existing attack methods can satisfy the decoupling principle, the proportion is small. In this paper, we formulate the above issues as an optimization problem with multi-constrains, and we propose a generative model to generate adversarial examples that satisfy the decoupling principle and simultaneously obtain high attack performance. Specifically, we first adopt the adversarial loss to ensure the attack performance. Then, we devise a decouple loss to guarantee the decoupling principle. Moreover, we treat the Euclidean distances of perturbation as regularization terms to maintain visual quality. Extensive experiments against various networks on ImageNet and CIFAR10 show that the proposed method performs better than comparison methods in the comprehensive metric. N-doped porous carbon nanosheets (N-CNS) were prepared from coal tar pitch with the addition of urea and KOH activation. In the synthesis route, urea plays an important role in constructing the 2D sheet-like structure, which serves as a nitrogen source, chemical blowing agent and the in-situ formation of g-C 3 N 4 self-degraded template. At a low activation temperature (600 °C), the as-prepared N-doped porous carbon nanosheets possess high nitrogen content (7.06 at. %) and high specific surface area (1181 m 2  g −1 ), which offers remarkable capacitive performances due to the unique architecture and pseudocapacitance contribution of the N doping. The N-CNS exhibits high capacitive performance (210 F g −1 at 0.1 A g −1 ), and an excellent cycling stability. Additionally, the assembled symmetric supercapacitor displays an energy density of 7.15 Wh kg −1 , and the capacitance retention remains 91.2% after 5000 cycles at 1 A g −1 . The facile and low-cost route to massively prepare N-doped porous carbon nanosheets from coal tar pitch would be favorable to the applications of carbon materials for high performance supercapacitors. Switchgrass ( Panicum virgatum L.) is a sustainable cellulosic energy crop with high biomass yield on marginal soils. Tillering, an important agronomic characteristic related to biomass production in gramineous plants, is regulated by complex interacting factors, such as plant hormones. Strigolactones (SLs) comprise a novel class of plant hormones that inhibit shoot branching. The MORE AXILLARY GROWTH2 ( MAX2 )/ DWARF 3 ( D3 )/ RAMOSUS ( RMS4 ) genes encode proteins involved in the SL signaling pathway in various plants. The switchgrass tetraploid genome likely contains two high-similarity MAX2 homologs, one of which is 6 bp longer than the other. The longest is named PvMAX2 and is the ortholog of MAX2 in Arabidopsis, D3 in rice, and RMS4 in petunia. PvMAX2 is expressed ubiquitously in switchgrass tissues, with higher expression levels observed in the stem and shoot. PvMAX2 gene expression is upregulated by GR24, a synthetic SL analog. Ectopic expression of PvMAX2 in the Arabidopsis max2 mutant rescued the dwarf and bushy phenotypes and small leaf size in the mutant, suggesting that functions of AtMAX2 in Arabidopsis are conserved in PvMAX2 . Ectopic PvMAX2 expression also restored the wild-type primary root and hypocotyl length phenotypes and restored the response to GR24. As for studying the sub-harmonic and super-harmonic periodic motions, eigenvalue dynamics and period-doubling bifurcation tree of the nonlinear rotor system, an implicit discrete mapping method is applied to a nonlinear sliding bearing–rotor system. The nonlinear term of the rotor system is triggered by the oil film forces of the sliding bearing at both ends. In order to accurately reveal the dynamic characteristics of the system, in this paper, a thirteen-parameter polynomial oil film force model is proposed. It considers the effects of displacement and velocity on the oil film force. And, the discrete mapping method used in this paper is a semi-analytical tool for solving equations with high precision. Consequently, continuous eigenvalue diagrams and bifurcation trees of periodic solutions from Period-1 to Period-4 motions of the nonlinear rotor system are obtained. For verification, numerical simulations are completed. Numerical and semi-analytical results are compared in time–history displacement, velocity and trajectories. Dietary composition and rearing regime largely determine the trace elemental composition of pigs, and consequently their concentration in animal products. The present study evaluates thirteen macro- and trace element concentrations in pork from organic and conventional farms. Conventional pigs were given a commercial feed with added minerals; organic pigs were given a feed based on organic feedstuffs. The content of macro-elements (Na, K, Mg and Ca) and some trace elements (Ni, Fe, Zn and Sr) in organic and conventional meat samples showed no significant differences (P > 0.05). Several trace element concentrations in organic pork were significantly higher (P < 0.05) compared to conventional pork: Cr (808 and 500 μg/kg in organic and conventional pork, respectively), Mn (695 and 473 μg/kg) and Cu (1.80 and 1.49 mg/kg). The results showed considerable differences in mineral content between samples from pigs reared in organic and conventional systems. Our results also indicate that authentication of organic pork can be realized by applying multivariate chemometric methods such as discriminant analysis to this multi-element data. • A three-dimensional Ni,Co-embedded CNT-coated N-doped hollow porous carbon (Ni/Co-CNT/NHPC) cathode has been designed and prepared for lithium-sulfur battery. • The Ni/Co-CNT/NHPC-S cathode possesses a high specific capacity of 1352 mA h g-1 and an excellent cycle stability at 1 C with low capacity decay of 0.094% per cycle over 500 cycles. • The mechanism of suppressing the shuttle effect on the cathode materials is discussed by analyzing adsorption experiments and density functional theory（DFT）calculation. Lithium-sulfur (Li-S) batteries have attracted great attentions due to their high specific capacity. However, the poor cycle stability caused by polysulfide shuttles, volume expansion and formation of lithium dendrites limit their practical applications. In the present work, to tackle the poor stability and unstable rate capability, a MOF-doping strategy is developed to construct a hollow porous carbon framework，which consists of Ni, Co particles and CNT on a N-doped shell surface (Ni/Co-CNT/NHPC). This hollow framework increases the load of S, slows down the volume changes, and can physically entrap soluble polysulfide. It is found that the CNT-coated network structure is beneficial for optimizing the conductivity and wettability of the material, which accelerates the reaction kinetics. Moreover, synergistic effect of abundant defects and Ni, Co nanoparticles strengthens the chemisorption of polysulfides, which suppresses the shuttle effect. As a consequence, the Ni/Co-CNT/NHPC-S cathode harvests a high specific capacity (1352 mA h g-1), and shows an excellent cycling stability at 1 C with low capacity decay of 0.094% over 500 cycles. It is highly important to develop high-performance sulfur cathode to solve low areal sulfur loading, shuttling and sluggish conversion of polysulfides for lithium-sulfur batteries. Herein, a three-dimensional (3D) freestanding framework configured with Co nanoparticles and Co-N x codoped carbon nanotubes anchored in a carbon foam is synthesized and investigated as a new type of sulfur host. Such an architecture can serve not only as a conductive carbon networks but also as host scaffold for high sulfur-containing electrodes. The hierarchical porous structures cooperated with high density and dispersion multifunctional Co-N x species can efficiently trap and manipulate catalytic conversion kinetics of polysulfides. Benefiting from above characteristics, the designed cathodes exhibit a high capacity (1259 mA h g−1) at 0.1 C and excellent cycling performance with an ultralow decay of 0.038% per cycle over 500 cycles at a high current density of 3 C. Even with a high sulfur loading (7.0 mg cm−2) and lean electrolyte (E/S = 5 μL mg−1) operation, a high areal capacity of 4.34 mA h cm−2 is still achieved after 100 cycles at 0.1 C. Background: We previously established a clinically relevant strategy to abrogate recurrent autoimmunity and enable long-term islet graft survival, involving antilymphocyte serum (ALS)-depletion of recipient T cells and intraportal administration of donor pancreatic lymph node cells (PLNCs) along with islet grafts. In this study, we investigated whether Th2 cytokines were required for the tolerizing ability of ALS/PLNC treatment in islet transplantation. Methods: ALS-treated diabetic NOD recipient mice, and NOD recipient mice deficient in interleukin 4 (IL-4-/-) or 10 (IL-4/10-/-) were transplanted with NOR or NOD.scid islets intraportally along with donor PLNC. Blood glucose levels were monitored to access graft function, sections of graft-bearing livers were histologically examined, and ELISPOT assays were used to assess cytokine profile and frequency of islet-reactive CD4 T cells. Results: We found that ALS/PLNC was not effective in prolonging islet graft survival in diabetic NOD hosts deficient in either IL-4 (NOD.IL-4-/-) or in IL-4 and IL-10 (NOD.IL4-/-/10-/-) (mean survival time, 36 days), contrasting the long-term survival of islet grafts in wild-type NOD mice (mean survival time, > 80 days). In contrast, PLNC deficient in IL-4 promoted long-term graft survival in wild-type NOD hosts similar to that in wild-type PLNC. In wild-type NOD recipients of either wild-type PLNC or IL-4-/- PLNC, the host autoantigen–specific CD4 T cells produced predominately IL-4 coincident with long-term graft survival, whereas, in NOD.IL-4-/- recipients with rejected grafts, the autoreactive T cells produced interferon γ and low amounts of IL-4. Conclusions: These data demonstrate that abrogation of recurrent autoimmunity requires host IL-4 and that manipulation of the autoreactive cytokine profile in long-term diabetes may be an effective strategy for islet transplant therapies. Additionally, the stability of Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ9-THC) and cannabinol (CBN) and the in vitro digestion of hemp seed oil (HSO) were evaluated. The half-life of CBN in the Og/W emulsion was found to be 131.82 days, with a degradation rate of 0.00527. The in vitro simulation results indicated that the Og/W emulsion effectively delayed the intestinal digestion of HSO, and the bioaccessibility of Δ9-THC and CBN reached 56.0 % and 58.0 %, respectively. Sn -Glycerol-3 - phosphatidylcholine (GPC) was prepared by hydrolysis of phosphatidylcholine (PC) catalyzed by phospholipase A 1 (PLA 1). Nitrogen flow assisted the esterification of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) and GPC to produce conjugated linoleic acid lysophosphatidylcholine (LPC − CLA). The effects of different reaction conditions on the PC conversion and acyl migration rates were investigated, and the acyl migration mechanism under acidic and alkaline conditions was studied. In addition, the optimum conditions for the esterification of CLA and GPC were selected. The optimal condition for the hydrolysis of PC was an enzyme loading of 5 %, pH of 5, reaction temperature of 50 ℃, and reaction time of 3 h. The results also showed that the maximum esterification rate reached 82.37 % at an enzyme loading of 15 %, CLA/GPC molar ratio of 50:1, and vacuum pressure of 13.3 kPa. Deep neural network-based object detectors are vulnerable to adversarial examples. Among existing works to fool object detectors, the camouflage-based method is more often adopted due to its adaptation to multi-view scenarios and non-planar objects. However, most of them can still be easily observed by human eyes, which limits their application in the real world. To fool human eyes and object detectors simultaneously, we propose a differential evolution based dual adversarial camouflage method. Specifically, we try to obtain the camouflage texture by the two-stage training, which can be wrapped over the surface of the object. In the first stage, we optimize the global texture to minimize the discrepancy between the rendered object and the scene background, making human eyes difficult to distinguish. In the second stage, we design three loss functions to optimize the local texture, which is selected from the global texture, making object detectors ineffective. In addition, we introduce the differential evolution algorithm to search for the near-optimal areas of the object to attack, improving the adversarial performance under certain attack area limitations. This paper aims to investigate the seismic behavior and failure mechanism of novel type of blind bolted concrete-filled steel tubular (CFST) composite frames under seismic loading. The composite frames are composed of square or circular CFST columns and steel-concrete composite beams with steel-bars truss deck (SBTD); the steel beams and the CFST columns are assembled by blind bolts and end plates. The failure modes, hysteretic behavior, strength and rigidity degradation, ductility and energy-dissipating performance of all specimens were analyzed and discussed. The influence of composite action of the floor slab on the performance of blind bolted CFST composite frames were also explored under seismic loading. The experimental results showed that the blind bolted CFST composite frames with the SBTD concrete slabs exhibited good hysteretic behavior, large ductility and high energy dissipation. The stiffness and strength of the frame increased greatly with the presence of the SBTD concrete slab. In this paper, an improved slope-based method (ISBM) based on empirical mode decomposition (EMD) and feed-forward neural network (FNN) method, namely, the EMD-ISBM-FNN method is introduced to decompose and forecast the crude oil prices. Firstly, the ISBM-based EMD method is used to decompose the time series of Brent crude oil prices into several IMFs (intrinsic mode functions) and residuals r n (t). Then IMFs and residuals r n (t) are inputted into the FNN model as input layer neurons, which are trained and integrated by the FNN model to study the relationship between the output values of the FNN and actual values. In order to verify the forecasting results of the EMD-ISBM-FNN model, two research frameworks and three strategies are designed, and the EMD-FNN model and the FNN model as the benchmark models are constructed to compare their forecasting results. The research shows that the EMD-ISBM-FNN model proposed in this paper has the best forecasting effect under the three strategies, and the research framework of this paper is better than the previous scholars' research frameworks, too. • A novel data envelope method (ISBM) is proposed based on EMD algorithm and neural network. • The Fixed window iterative strategy created the best results in the three strategies. • A new research plan is designed by the EMD-ISBM-FNN model. Oils are susceptible to oxidation, so encapsulation of them with small molecule gels and proteins through dynamic high-pressure microfluidization is an effective method of protection. In this study, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA)-rich oil-in-water oleogel emulsions (CLA-Og/W) was prepared by dynamic high-pressure microfluidization. By results, when dynamic high-pressure microfluidization pressure was 80 MPa, zeta potential of CLA-Og/W was −38 mV, the droplet size decreased to 91.3 nm. The surface roughness of the CLA-Og/W reduced to a minimum of 2.75 nm at 80 MPa. The surface tension decreased to 38.36 mN/m. The rheological properties showed that the microfluidized CLA-Og/W had favorable viscoelasticity and increased apparent viscosity. In addition, the fatty acid composition of CLA-Og/W did not change significantly compared to CLA-safflower seed oil. After 14 d of storage at 60 °C, the CLA content of CLA-Og/W was 40.19%. In this paper, a fracture failure of a marine diesel engine timing gear in a chemical tanker was investigated in detail using both experimental analysis and numerical analysis. The experimental analysis includes macroscopical inspection, Scanning Electron Microscope analysis, Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy analysis, metallographic investigation and mechanical property investigation. The numerical analysis includes torsional vibration analysis and finite element method (FEM) simulations. In the torsional vibration analysis, the coupling influence of the associated structures on the timing gear system was taken into account, not only analyzing the fault gear itself. In the FEM simulations, two models, one is with inclusion and the other is non-inclusion, were constructed. Both investigations indicate that the fracture is a fatigue fracture and the initial cracks are caused by the inclusion. Abstract In this paper, a two-stage planetary gear (TSPG) system with sliding friction and elastic continuum ring gear is presented to investigate the modal properties and avoid resonance through employing the lumped parameter method. For this purpose, this study addresses a new elastic-discrete model of the planetary gear, in which the sliding friction and elastic continuum ring gear are considered simultaneously. Compared with the present literature, the majority of previous works modeled ring gear as a rigid body and completely ignored the sliding friction. Additionally, the previous studies published are mainly about single-stage planetary gear. In this study, the translational-torsional motion equations of the new elastic-discrete model with sliding friction are derived theoretically. Afterwards, the effect of sliding friction on the time varying mesh stiffness is carried out. In order to clearly show the effect of the elasticity of ring gear, the modal properties for the TSPG system with different planet number, ring bending stiffness and sliding friction coefficient are investigated. The natural frequencies calculated by the elastic-discrete model are compared with the results obtained by lumped parameter model. Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a common malignancy, and radioresistance limits the effectiveness of radiotherapy for rectal cancer. This study is performed to investigate the role and regulatory mechanism of Potassium Voltage-Gated Channel Subfamily E Regulatory Subunit 4 (KCNE4) in the radioresistance of CRC cells. Immunohistochemical staining results of KCNE4 in normal tissues and CRC tissues were obtained from the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) database. The UALCAN database was used for analyzing KCNE4 mRNA expression in normal tissue samples and CRC tissue samples and its relationship with tumor stage. The relationship of KCNE4 expression with prognosis was analyzed utilizing the data of GEPIA database. LinkedOmics database was searched to analyze the co-expressed gene sets of KCNE4 in CRC, and to analyze the signaling pathways related with KCNE4 in CRC. GO and KEGG enrichment analyses were carried out on the co-expressed genes of KCNE4 with DAVID database. Ionizing radiation (IR)-resistant cell lines (HCT116/IR and HT29/IR) were established; cell viability was assessed via cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) and EdU assays, and terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUTP nick-end labeling (TUNEL) assay was performed for detecting cell apoptosis. Western blotting was carried out to detect the expressions of p-p85 and p-AKT. KCNE4 was highly expressed in CRC tissues and linked to advanced tumor stage, lymph node metastasis and poor prognosis of CRC patients. KCNE4 overexpression promoted HCT116/IR cell proliferation and inhibited the apoptosis, while KCNE4 knockdown suppressed HT29/IR cell proliferation and facilitated the apoptosis. Furthermore, high KCNE4 expression was associated with the activation of the PI3K/AKT signal pathway. KCNE4 is associated with the clinicopathological characteristics of CRC patients, and its high expression level contributes to the radioresistance of cancer cells via activating the PI3K/AKT signal pathway. The effects of mineral salts on pullulan production by bioconversion using whole cells of Aureobasidium pullulans CCTCC M 2012259 as the catalyst were investigated. Copper sulfate (CuSO 4 ) improved pullulan production by 36.2% and 42.3% when added at the optimum concentration of 0.2 mg/L to the bioconversion broth or seed medium, respectively, as compared with controls without CuSO 4 addition. Pullulan production was further enhanced when CuSO 4 was added to both seed medium and bioconversion broth simultaneously. In order to probe the mechanism of CuSO 4 improvement, cell viability, membrane integrity, intracellular adenosine triphosphate (ATP) levels and the activities of key enzymes involved in pullulan biosynthesis were determined. As a result, CuSO 4 increased the activities of key biosynthetic enzymes, maintained intracellular ATP at a higher level, and accelerated the rate of pullulan secretion, all of which contributed to improved pullulan production by bioconversion. The temporal and spatial dynamics of biodiversity and its future trends are of great significance for maintaining biodiversity pattern and ensuring regional ecological security in the Nanliu River Basin of Beibu Gulf. At present, most studies are concerned with the assessment of biodiversity in historical period, but few studies focused on the prediction of biodiversity under several scenarios in future years, and the history and future spatial simulation of habitat quality has not been carried out. Therefore, the establishment of biodiversity simulation studies under different scenarios in the future plays a crucial role in the sustainable development of regional social economy. This study takes Nanliu River Basin, which only flows into the sea in the Beibu Gulf, as the research object. Based on land use data and social and economic data interpreted from remote sensing data in 2000, 2010 and 2020, Conversion of Land Use and its Effects at Small Region Extent (CLUE-S) model was used to simulate and predict land use patterns for ecological protection scenarios, natural growth scenarios and food security scenarios in 2030. The Integrated Valuation of Ecosystem Service and Tradeoff (InVEST) model was used to evaluate the biodiversity of different scenarios in the past and future and discuss the habitat quality and degradation degree of biodiversity in the watershed. Results were presented as follows. In 2000–2020, an increasing trend of construction land, shrub land and water area was found in the Nanliu River basin of Beibu Gulf. The largest increase was observed in construction land, and the largest decrease was noted in cultivated land and woodland. The best habitat quality will be under the ecological protection scenario in 2030. The biodiversity in the upstream and downstream of the three scenarios showed varying degrees of improvement, and the midstream exhibited a degradation trend. The research results of this paper can make up for the vacancy of biodiversity habitat evaluation system in Nanliu River Basin at home and abroad, and have important theoretical and practical significance for promoting ecological protection and ecological planning of watershed.
