Abstract
The article reports that a 2013 study compared reading effort on three different media, including paper, a tablet, and an e-reader with an E Ink screen, studying eye movement, brain activity, and reading speed. It adds that Norwegian students who read texts on paper understood subjects better than those who read the same text on a computer screen. Abstract
In this article, the author discusses the efficiency of the design of audiovisual (AV). The author states that in AV three R's are applied including reduce the use of paper and equipment, reuse the equipment and hardware and recycled the old equipment. He states that the three R's could only be applied if it will be proven that using AV had environmental benefits that using papers. He says that power usage must be measured, recalled and reported to know the impact of using AV on the environment.
