The research on artistic psychological intervention to judge emotional fluctuations by extracting emotional features from interactive vocal signals has become a research topic with great potential for development. Based on the interactive vocal music instruction theory of emotion recognition, this paper studies the design of artistic psychological intervention system. This paper uses the vocal music emotion recognition algorithm to first train the interactive recognition network, in which the input is a row vector composed of different vocal music characteristics, and finally recognizes the vocal music of different emotional categories, which solves the problem of low data coupling in the artistic psychological intervention system. Among them, the vocal music emotion recognition experiment based on the interactive recognition network is mainly carried out from six aspects: the number of iterative training, the vocal music instruction rate, the number of emotion recognition signal nodes in the artistic psychological intervention layer, the number of sample sets, different feature combinations, and the number of emotion types. The input data of the system is a training class learning video, and actions and expressions need to be recognized before scoring. In the simulation process, before the completion of the sample indicators is unbalanced, the R language statistical analysis tool is used to balance the existing unbalanced data based on the artificial data synthesis method, and 279 uniformly classified samples are obtained. The experimental results show that under the guidance of four different interactive vocal music, the vocal emotion recognition rate is between 65.85%-91.00%, which promotes the intervention of music therapy on artistic psychological intervention. Attention is an important mechanism for young adults, whose lives largely involve interacting with media and performing technology multitasking. Nevertheless, the existing studies related to attention are characterized by low accuracy and poor attention levels in terms of attention monitoring and inefficiency during attention training. In this paper, we propose an improved random forest- (IRF-) algorithm-based attention monitoring and training method with closed-loop neurofeedback. For attention monitoring, an IRF classifier that uses grid search optimization and multiple cross-validation to improve monitoring accuracy and performance is utilized, and five attention levels are proposed. For attention training, we develop three training modes with neurofeedback corresponding to sustained attention, selective attention, and focus attention and apply a self-control method with four indicators to validate the resulting training effect. An offline experiment based on the Personal EEG Concentration Tasks dataset and an online experiment involving 10 young adults are conducted. The results show that our proposed IRF-algorithm-based attention monitoring approach achieves an average accuracy of 79.34%, thereby outperforming the current state-of-the-art algorithms. Furthermore, when excluding familiarity with the game environment, statistically significant performance improvements (p < 0.05) are achieved by the 10 young adults after attention training, which demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed serious games. In this paper, we study the effects of the neurofeedback method of surface EMG on electrophysiology and evaluate its effects on postural control, balance, and motor function using relevant scales. We optimize the neurofeedback rehabilitation intervention system based on surface EMG, study the objective assessment of neurofeedback rehabilitation intervention of surface EMG, and initially try to apply mirror therapy to the treatment of surface EMG. According to the different treatment methods, they were divided into the drug-only group, drug combined with electroacupuncture group, drug combined with facial muscle function training group, and drug combined with electroacupuncture combined with facial muscle function training group. Starting from the 10th day of the disease course, a course of 15 days contains three courses of treatment with a 3-day break for each course. Patients were tested on day 10, day 25, and day 40 of the disease course and the results of each test were recorded and analyzed. The results of each test were recorded and analyzed. The efficacy of four different methods for simple neurofeedback rehabilitation was compared according to the mean ratio of the root mean square of the patient's affected and healthy sides. The close relationship between surface EMG neurofeedback rehabilitation intervention and rehabilitation efficacy was also investigated, and the effect of different feedback modes on neurofeedback rehabilitation intervention was explored for the neurofeedback protocol and whether the use of the optimized neurorehabilitation protocol could achieve improved efficacy and have a sustained effect. The study showed that neurofeedback training interventions based on optimized surface EMG can achieve good long-term results, as demonstrated by improved postural control, balance, and motor function of patients; optimized neurofeedback rehabilitation intervention systems; and guiding physicians or nurses to work more effective clinically. Objective. The potential of neurofeedback to alter the M1-cerebellum connectivity was explored using motor imagery-based rt-fMRI. These regions were chosen due to their importance in motor performance and motor rehabilitation. Methods. Four right-handed individuals were recruited to examine the potential to change the M1-cerebellum neurofeedback link. The University of Glasgow Cognitive Neuroimaging Centre used a 3T MRI scanner from January 2019 to January 2020 to conduct this prospective study. Everyone participated in each fMRI session, which included six NF training runs. Participants were instructed to imagine complicated hand motions during the NF training to raise a thermometer bar's height. To contrast the correlation coefficients between the initial and last NF runs, a t-test was performed post hoc. Results. The neurofeedback connection between M1 and the cerebellum was strengthened in each participant. Motor imagery strategy was a significant task in training M1-cerebellum connectivity as participants used it successfully to enhance the activation level between these regions during M1-cerebellum modulation using real-time fMRI. The t-test and linear regression, on the other hand, showed this increase to be insignificant. Conclusion. A novel technique to manipulate M1-cerebellum connectivity was discovered using real-time fMRI NF. This study showed that each participant's neurofeedback connectivity between M1 and cerebellum was enhanced. This increase, on the other hand, was insignificant statistically. The results showed that the connectivity between both areas increased positively. Through the integration of fMRI and neurofeedback, M1-cerebellum connectivity can be positively affected. Objective. The purpose of the systematic review is to verify the effect of biofeedback therapy on limb motor rehabilitation in patients with acute stroke and to provide evidence-based medicine for the promotion and use of biofeedback therapy. Methods. The randomized controlled trials (RCT) of biofeedback therapy in the treatment of cerebral palsy were searched in PubMed, EMBASE, ScienceDirect, Cochrane Library, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), China VIP Database, Wanfang Database, and Chinese Biomedical Literature Database (CBM). The starting time and ending time of this study are from the time of building the database of the number of pieces to October 31, 2018. The data included in this study were extracted by two independent researchers and evaluated the bias risk of all the literature included in the study according to the Cochrane manual 5.1.0 criteria. RevMan5.4 statistical software was used to analyze the collected data by meta. Results. This systematic review included 9 RCT studies with a total of 1410 patients. The results of meta-analysis showed that there were significant differences in the improvement of lower limb muscle tension, comprehensive spasm scale score, EMG score, and passive range of motion of ankle joint between biofeedback therapy and routine rehabilitation therapy. Conclusion. Biofeedback therapy can improve lower limb muscle tension, spasticity, EMG integral value, and passive range of motion of ankle joint in children with cerebral palsy and provide better conditions for improving the motor ability of lower extremities in children with cerebral palsy. In order to study the quality of life of patients with functional constipation based on dynamic magnetic resonance defecation, the biofeedback therapy combined with comprehensive nursing intervention was used to diagnose and treat the patients, so as to explore its clinical efficacy and its impact on patients' quality of life. The obstructed defecation surgical treatment carries frequent recurrences, and dynamic magnetic resonance imaging defecography evaluated and elucidated the underlying anatomic features. This research selected 80 patients who came to our hospital for treatment of functional constipation and evaluated and recorded various clinical indicators before and after treatment in the form of questionnaire survey. The results showed that the clinical symptom scores of patients with functional constipation before and after treatment were greatly different P < 0.05 . Thus, the biofeedback therapy combined with comprehensive nursing intervention showed a good clinical effect in the treatment of patients with functional constipation and significantly improved the quality of life of patients, showing high clinical application and promotion value. Neurofeedback training has shown benefits in clinical treatment and behavioral performance enhancement. Despite the wide range of applications, no consensus has been reached about the optimal training schedule. In this work, an EEG neurofeedback practical experiment was conducted aimed at investigating the effects of training intensity on the enhancement of the amplitude in the individual upper alpha band. We designed INTENSIVE and SPARSE training modalities, which differed regarding three essential aspects of training intensity: the number of sessions, the duration of a session, and the interval between sessions. Nine participants in the INTENSIVE group completed 4 sessions with 37.5 minutes each during consecutive days, while nine participants in the SPARSE group performed 6 sessions of 25 minutes spread over approximately 3 weeks. As a result, regarding the short-term effects, the upper alpha band amplitude change within sessions did not significantly differ between the two groups. Nonetheless, only the INTENSIVE group showed a significant increase in the upper alpha band amplitude. However, for the sustained effects across sessions, none of the groups showed significant changes in the upper alpha band amplitude across the whole course of training. The findings suggest that the progression within session is favored by the intensive design. Therefore, based on these findings, it is proposed that training intensity influences EEG self-regulation within sessions. Further investigations are needed to isolate different aspects of training intensity and effectively confirm if one modality globally outperforms the other. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This article is aimed at showing the current level of evidence for the usage of biofeedback and neurofeedback to treat depression along with a detailed review of the studies in the field and a discussion of rationale for utilizing each protocol. La Vaque et al. criteria endorsed by the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback and International Society for Neuroregulation & Research were accepted as a means of study evaluation. Heart rate variability (HRV) biofeedback was found to be moderately supportable as a treatment of MDD while outcome measure was a subjective questionnaire like Beck Depression Inventory (level 3/5, "probably efficacious"). Electroencephalographic (EEG) neurofeedback protocols, namely, alpha-theta, alpha, and sensorimotor rhythm upregulation, all qualify for level 2/5, "possibly efficacious." Frontal alpha asymmetry protocol also received limited evidence of effect in depression (level 2/5, "possibly efficacious"). Finally, the two most influential real-time functional magnetic resonance imaging (rt-fMRI) neurofeedback protocols targeting the amygdala and the frontal cortices both demonstrate some effectiveness, though lack replications (level 2/5, "possibly efficacious"). Thus, neurofeedback specifically targeting depression is moderately supported by existing studies (all fit level 2/5, "possibly efficacious"). The greatest complication preventing certain protocols from reaching higher evidence levels is a relatively high number of uncontrolled studies and an absence of accurate replications arising from the heterogeneity in protocol details, course lengths, measures of improvement, control conditions, and sample characteristics. Analysis of visually guided tracking movements is an important component of understanding human visuomotor control system. The aim of our study was to investigate the effects of different target speeds and different circular tracking planes, which provide different visual feedback of depth information, on temporal and spatial tracking accuracy. In this study, we analyze motor control characteristic of circular tracking movements during monocular vision in three-dimensional space using a virtual reality system. Three parameters in polar coordinates were analyzed: ΔR, the difference in the distance from the fixed pole; Δθ, the difference in the position angle; and Δω, the difference in the angular velocity. We compare the accuracy of visually guided circular tracking movements during monocular vision in two conditions: (1) movement in the frontal plane relative to the subject that requires less depth information and (2) movement in the sagittal plane relative to the subject that requires more depth information. We also examine differences in motor control at four different target speeds. The results show that depth information affects both spatial and temporal accuracy of circular tracking movement, whereas target speed only affects temporal accuracy of circular tracking movement. First attempts have demonstrated that the application of alpha/delta neurofeedback in the treatment of chronic tinnitus leads to a reduction of symptoms at the group level. However, recent research also suggests that chronic tinnitus is a decidedly heterogeneous phenomenon, one that requires treatment of distinct subgroups or even on an individual level. Thus, the purpose of this study was to evaluate an individually adjusted alpha/delta neurofeedback protocol. Following previous studies, the delta band fixed between 3 and 4 Hz was chosen as the frequency for inhibition. However, unlike the previous studies, the frequency range for the rewarded alpha band was not fixed between 8 and 12 Hz but rather individually determined according to each patient's specific alpha peak frequency (IAF). Twenty-six chronic tinnitus patients participated in 15 weekly neurofeedback training sessions and extensive pre- and post-tests, as well as follow-up testing 3 and 6 months after training. The main outcome measures were tinnitus-related distress measured with the Tinnitus Handicap Inventory (THI) and Tinnitus Questionnaire (TQ), tinnitus loudness, and pre- and post-training resting-state EEG activity in trained frequency bands. In Results, the neurofeedback protocol led to a significant reduction of tinnitus-related distress and tinnitus loudness. While distress remained on a low level even 6 months after the completion of training, loudness returned to baseline levels in the follow-up period. In addition, resting-state EEG activity showed an increase in the trained alpha/delta ratio over the course of the training. This ratio increase was related to training-induced changes of tinnitus-related distress as measured with TQ, mainly due to increases in the alpha frequency range. In sum, this study confirms the alpha/delta neurofeedback as a suitable option for the treatment of chronic tinnitus and represents a first step towards the development of individual neurofeedback protocols.
