Rockfall is one of the most serious geological hazards in mountain regions. During the rescue situations after rockfall, the wheel loader, a vital type of modern engineering mechanism, plays an important role in relieving the obstruction of the catastrophic site. Increasing the reliability of the wheel loader during the rescue situation is quite important. This study aims to build a fault diagnosis model based on Bayesian network (BN) to diagnose the probability and path of the fault occurrence in the wheel loader during a rockfall disaster. Meanwhile, to reduce the influence of subjective factors, the fuzzy set theory is introduced into BN. The result showed that the probability of failure of the wheel loader under rockfall disaster is 13.11%. In addition, the key cause of the failure of the wheel loader under the rockfall disaster is the malfunction of mechanical parts. The probability of mechanical component failures in this case is as high as 88%, while the probability of human error is 6%. The research results not only show the ability of the BN to incorporate subjective judgment but also can provide a reference for fault diagnosis and risk assessment of wheel loaders under rockfall disaster conditions. Objective. This study aimed to investigate the effects of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) on biological behavior and magnetic resonance imaging and recurrence rate of patients with bladder cancer. Method. Forty-seven postoperative bladder cancer patients treated in our hospital who met the criteria were selected and randomly divided into the TCM treatment group (observation group) and the group without TCM treatment (control group). In the TCM treatment group, the prescription was slightly adjusted according to the different symptoms, and the main prescription remained unchanged. According to the treatment plan, patients continued to undergo bladder irrigation chemotherapy plus TCM treatment, while the control group was only treated with bladder irrigation chemotherapy. The number of patients with recurrence at 3 and 6 months and 1 year, the effects on patients' clinical symptoms, and quality of life were observed, respectively. The changes in MRI images, blood routine, immune function, and leukocyte level and other related indexes before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results. After the patients in the observation group were treated with traditional Chinese medicine, the patients' quality of life significantly improved. The patients' CD3+, CD4+, and CD4+/CD8+ indexes were significantly higher than those of the control group. The levels of Hb and PLT of the patients in the observation group were significantly lower than those of the patients in the control group. Patients in the observation group had higher leukocyte levels and a lower recurrence rate than patients in the control group. Conclusion. TCM with chemotherapy drugs can effectively improve patients' immune function, increase the level of T-lymphocyte subpopulation, and improve bone marrow hematopoietic function, which has a significant effect on the prevention and treatment of bladder cancer recurrence after surgery. Objective. The aim of this study was to summarize and evaluate the efficacy of acupuncture in hypertension animal study. Methods. Studies were searched from six databases, including Medline, Embase, Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Data, VIP information database, and Chinese Biomedical Literature Database. Study quality of each included study was evaluated according to the Animal Research: Reporting of In Vivo Experiments (ARRIVE) guidelines, and the risk of bias was evaluated by the Systematic Review Centre for Laboratory Animal Experimentation (SYRCLE) tool. Systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), and mean arterial pressure (MAP) were selected as outcomes. Meta-analyses were performed using Stata 12.0 software. The effect size was calculated by combining SBP/DBP/MAP data with the random effects model, respectively. Results. 67 studies containing 1522 animals were included. According to the ARRIVE guideline, 8 items were assessed as poor and 4 items were assessed as excellent. According to the SYRCLE tool, all studies were judged as having high risk of bias. Compared with the hypertension group, the pooled results showed significant antihypertension effects of acupuncture for SBP, DBP, and MAP. Similarly, compared with the sham-acupuncture group, the pooled results showed significant antihypertension effects of acupuncture for SBP, DBP, and MAP. Conclusion. Although pooled data suggested that the acupuncture group was superior to the hypertension group or sham-acupuncture group for SBP/DBP/MAP, the presentation of poor methodological quality, high risk of bias, and heterogeneity deserves cautious interpretation of the results. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Aconiti Radix Cocta (AC) is clinically employed to expel wind, remove dampness, and relieve pain. We evaluated the antirheumatoid arthritis (RA) activities and underlying mechanisms of AC. The chemical constituents of AC were analyzed by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) using three reference compounds (benzoylaconitine, benzoylmesaconine, and benzoylhypacoitine). The anti-RA effects of AC were evaluated in adjuvant-induced arthritis (AIA) rats by hind paw volume and histopathological analysis. The effects of AC on inflammatory cytokines (IL-1β and IL-17A) were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The regulation of cyclooxygenases (COX-1 and/or COX-2) was determined by Western blot and real-time quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction analyses. AC significantly reduced paw swelling, attenuated the inflammation and bone destruction in joint tissues, and reduced IL-1β and IL-17A in the serum. Moreover, AC downregulated the expression of COX-1 and COX-2 in the synovial tissues. We also identified that AC possesses significant anti-RA activities on AIA, which may be ascribed to the regulation of inflammatory cytokines IL-1β and IL-17, as well as to the inhibition of arachidonic acid signaling pathways. The peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) α/γ-adenosine 5 ′ -monophosphate- (AMP-) activated protein kinase- (AMPK-) sirtuin-1 (SIRT1) pathway and fatty acid metabolism are reported to be involved in influenza A virus (IAV) replication and IAV-pneumonia. Through a cell-based peroxisome proliferator responsive element- (PPRE-) driven luciferase bioassay, we have investigated 145 examples of traditional Chinese medicines (TCMs). Several TCMs, such as Polygonum cuspidatum, Rheum officinale Baillon, and Aloe vera var. Chinensis (Haw.) Berg., were found to possess high activity. We have further detected the anti-IAV activities of emodin (EMO) and its analogs, a group of common important compounds of these TCMs. The results showed that emodin and its several analogs possess excellent anti-IAV activities. The pharmacological tests showed that emodin significantly activated PPARα/γ and AMPK, decreased fatty acid biosynthesis, and increased intracellular ATP levels. Pharmaceutical inhibitors, siRNAs for PPARα/γ and AMPKα1, and exogenous palmitate impaired the inhibition of emodin. The in vivo test also showed that emodin significantly protected mice from IAV infection and pneumonia. Pharmacological inhibitors for PPARα/γ and AMPK signal and exogenous palmitate could partially counteract the effects of emodin in vivo. In conclusion, emodin and its analogs are a group of promising anti-IAV drug precursors, and the pharmacological mechanism of emodin is linked to its ability to regulate the PPARα/γ-AMPK pathway and fatty acid metabolism. Objective. Bevacizumab was currently available for nonsquamous non-small-cell lung cancer (NSqNSCLC) patients and has been studied in several randomized controlled trials (RCTs) for treatment of these patients. This meta-analysis summarizes the most up-to-date evidences regarding the effects and adverse reactions of bevacizumab in the treatment of NSqNSCLC patients. Methods. The authors searched for RCTs from electronic database including PubMed, EMBASE, and the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials. Experimental arm was defined as the bevacizumab-containing group and the control arm as the bevacizumab-free group. Data of objective response rate (ORR), disease control rate (DCR), progression-free survival (PFS), overall survival (OS), and adverse reactions were synthetically extracted. A protocol for this meta-analysis has been registered on PROSPERO (http://www.crd.york.ac.uk/prospero). Results. Ten RCTs that involved a total of 3134 patients were included. The experimental group was associated with significant superior ORR (RR 1.63, 95% CI 1.24 to 2.14, P < 0.001), OS (HR 0.90, 95% CI 0.82 to 0.99, P < 0.001), and prolonged PFS (HR 0.68, 95% CI 0.62 to 0.74, P < 0.001) compared to the control. No significant difference was observed regarding DCR (RR 1.13, 95% CI 0.99 to 1.30, P = 0.08). The experimental group showed higher rate of hypertension (RR 6.91, 95% CI 4.62 to 10.35, P < 0.00001) and hemorrhagic events (RR 3.07, 95% CI 1.78 to 5.30, P < 0.0001) than the control group. The experimental group showed lower rate of anemia (RR 0.72, 95% CI 0.55 to 0.96, P = 0.02) than the control group. No significant difference was observed regarding treatment-related adverse event grade 3-5 (TRAE3-5) (RR 1.23, 95% CI 0.99 to 1.53, P = 0.06), thrombocytopenia (RR 1.11, 95% CI 0.92 to 1.33, P = 0.29), and neutropenia (RR 1.11, 95% CI 0.88 to 1.40, P = 0.36). Conclusion. This meta-analysis showed that bevacizumab could increase ORR, OS, and prolonged PFS for treatment of NSqNSCLC patients. However, no significant improvement in DCR was observed and bevacizumab could increase the rate of hypertension and hemorrhagic events. Bevacizumab was an acceptable option for NSqNSCLC patients. Inflammation causes tissue damage and promotes ventricular remodeling after myocardial infarction (MI), and the infiltration and polarization of macrophages play an important role in regulating inflammation post-MI. Here, we investigated the anti-inflammatory function of curcumin after MI and studied its relationship with macrophage polarization. In vivo, curcumin not only attenuated ventricular remodeling 3 months after MI but also suppressed inflammation during the first 7 days post-MI. Importantly, the results of qPCR and immunochemistry showed that curcumin decreased M1 (iNOS, CCL2, and CD86) but increased M2 macrophage (Arg1, CD163, and CD206) marker expression in the myocardium of MI mice during the first 7 days post-MI. And flow cytometry analysis indicated that curcumin suppressed M1 (CD45+Gr-1-CD11b+iNOS+ cells) but enhanced M2 macrophage (CD45+Gr-1-CD11b+Arg+ cells) expansion in the myocardium of MI mice during the first 7 days post-MI. In vitro, curcumin decreased LPS/IFNγ-elevated M1 macrophage marker (iNOS and CD86) expression and the proportion of M1 macrophages (iNOS+F4/80+ cells) but increased LPS/IFNγ-suppressed M2 macrophage marker (Arg1 and CD206) expression and the proportion of M2 macrophages (Arg1+F4/80+ cells). In addition, curcumin modulates M1/M2 macrophage polarization partly via AMPK. Asphalt binder behaves as a viscoelastic material and its inherit performance is dominated by rheological and chemical properties. Aging of asphalt binder is a prominent distress for long-term in-service asphalt pavement. In this work, the effect of aging on base asphalt modified by polyphosphoric acid (PPA) has been investigated. For the objective, virgin asphalt binder was modified by various dosages of PPA, styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS), and PPA/SBS compound modification. The short- and long-term aging processes were simulated by Rolling Thin-Film Oven Test (RTFOT) and Pressure Aging Vessel (PAV) procedure. Rheological property of five aged modified binders was evaluated by the Dynamic Shear Rheometer (DSR). Meanwhile, gel permeation chromatography (GPC) was conducted to measure the molecular weight distribution and dispersion coefficient during the aging process. The high-temperature stiffness of PPA polymer binders is slightly higher than that of SBS and PPA/SBS compound modified asphalts. The aging ratio and molecular weight analysis verify the lower thermal-oxidative susceptibility of PPA/SBS compound modified asphalts. In this article, a new subwavelength element is introduced into the broadband folded reflectarray antenna (FRA). The element comprises a rectangular split‐ring resonator with two slits and a square patch located in the center of the rectangular ring. It can achieve superior cross polarization conversion (CPC) performance from 16.2 to 26.4 GHz with 1 dB bandwidth of 45.4%, and high orthogonal polarization isolation. Furthermore, changing the positions of two splits of the element can achieve two discrete reflection phases (0° and 180°) with the high CPC efficiency and angular stability. To verify the feasibility, an FRA using the digitally quantized phase distribution method is designed and measured at 22 GHz. The measured results show that the 1 dB gain bandwidth of the proposed FRA is 30.8%, and the maximum aperture efficiency is 15.4%. This superior performance is comparable with the existing FRAs. The naringinase, a desirable candidate for citrus juice debittering, consists of α‐L‐rhamnosidase and β‐D‐glucosidase. This study aimed to elucidate the effects of α‐L‐rhamnosidase, β‐D‐glucosidase, and their combination on naringin, polyphenols, antioxidant activity, and aroma quality. The α‐L‐rhamnosidase and the two enzymes combination reduced the naringin concentration from 356.33 to 10.52 and 4.17 mg/L, respectively. The α‐L‐rhamnosidase, β‐D‐glucosidase, and their combination significantly increased the antioxidant activity. The unpleasant cooking note was significantly weakened and the floral note was increased after three treatments. The combinational treatment increased the sweet note greatly. The substrate competition between α‐L‐rhamnosidase and β‐D‐glucosidase may help to explain the inconsistencies of the polyphenols, antioxidant activity, and aroma quality after single enzyme or combined enzymes treatments. The results indicated that taste, antioxidant activity, and aromatic quality were well improved by the combined treatment than either α‐L‐rhamnosidase or β‐D‐glucosidase treatment, providing an attractive reference for debittering orange juice. Practical applications: The work showed that the combined treatment of α‐L‐rhamnosidase and β‐D‐glucosidase was better to remove the bitter taste of citrus juice than the solo treatment with α‐L‐rhamnosidase or β‐D‐glucosidase in regarding with taste, antioxidant activity, and aromatic quality. Background. GA-binding protein A (GABPA), a transcription factor, is broadly involved in physiological and pathological processes. Several studies have investigated the relationship between GABPA expression level and outcomes of various malignancies. However, the function and clinicopathological significance of GABPA in endometrial carcinoma (EC) remain obscure. Methods. The GABPA mRNA expression in EC tissues and adjacent nonneoplastic tissues in the TCGA database was involved in our study. The protein expression of GABPA in 107 EC tissues and 15 normal endometrial tissues was detected by immunohistochemistry. Results. The GABPA expression was significantly downregulated in EC tissues compared with its expression in normal tissues (P < 0.001). The expression of GABPA was markedly correlated with type II EC (P < 0.01) and grade 3 EC (P < 0.05). A tendency has been observed that patients with low GABPA levels had relatively poorer overall survival (OS) (P = 0.036) and disease-free survival (DFS) (P = 0.016) than patients with high GABPA levels. The multivariate Cox proportional hazard model showed that lower expression of GABPA was an independent poor prognostic factor for OS (P = 0.043) and DFS (P = 0.045). Similar correlation between low expression levels of GABPA and unfavorable prognosis has also been found in type II or grade 3 EC. IHC analysis showed EC tissues had low expression of GABPA, which indicated relatively poor prognosis. Moreover, we identified that the GABPA mRNA expression was negatively correlated with its methylation level (R = − 0.2512 , P < 0.001) which is one of the mechanisms for the silencing of GABPA gene. The conventional matrix completion (MC) regularizes each singular value equally, and thus the rank cannot be well approximated, which greatly limits the flexibility and accuracy of MC usage. In this paper, a truncated MC algorithm using prior information to determine the threshold while generating the target rank is proposed for the wind turbine clutter suppression of weather radar. During the singular value shrinking process, an appropriate threshold is selected to obtain the optimal approximation of the sampling matrix. Specifically, the mean value of the diagonal element in the recovered weather matrix is calculated to improve the robustness of the recovery result effectively. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm reduces the computational complexity as well as further improves the MC accuracy and realizes the effective suppression of the wind turbine clutter. Background. GXN tablets are composed of Danshen and Chuanxiong, with the functions of activating blood circulation, removing blood stasis, invigorating the pulse, and nourishing the heart, which are used for CHD patients with stable exertional angina Grade I or II (according to traditional Chinese medicine, it is a syndrome of heart and blood stasis with chest pain and dark purple lips and tongue). Clinical trials have shown satisfactory effects on coronary heart disease (CHD). 90.6% of Chinese patients with CHD use both Western medicine and Chinese medicine with the latter being thought to promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis. Some researchers doubt that the combination of Chinese medicine increases the risk of bleeding. The main objective of this study is to observe the safety of long-term use of Guanxinning (hereafter referred to as GXN) tablets combined with aspirin. Methods. The study population is patients with CHD after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Randomization was performed for patients with stable CHD who received dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) with aspirin plus clopidogrel or ticagrelor for more than 12 months and then switched to the treatment with aspirin alone for 1 month. This study includes a total of 3,595 subjects in 63 hospitals. The experimental group took aspirin orally (100 mg, 1 time/day) + GXN tablets (0–6 months: 4 tablets/time, 3 times/day; 7–12 months, 4 tablets/time, 2 times/day), and the control group received oral aspirin (100 mg, 1 time/day). Major observation indicators are the incidence of bleeding events, adverse events (AEs), and adverse reactions. The primary endpoint indicators are the incidence of major adverse cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events (MACCE) and the MACCE composite endpoint. Results. A total of 31 cases of symptomatic bleeding were found in the two groups, including 21 cases (0.98%) in the experimental group and 10 cases (0.86%) in the control group; the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant. There were 29 cases (1.35%) of bleeding not reaching BARC type 1 in the experimental group. No attention was paid to the laboratory indicators in the control group during the trial process, so the bleeding as a laboratory indicator between the two groups was not comparable. For BARC type 3–5 bleeding events, there were 3 cases in the experimental group (0.139%) and 2 cases in the control group (0.172%); the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant and not clinically significant. During the trial period, there were a total of 255 cases of adverse reactions in 208 subjects with an incidence of 6.57% (141/2146) in the experimental group and 5.77% (67/1161) in the control group, and the P value was 0.5021; the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant. According to the analysis, the adverse reactions with a statistically significant difference between the two groups were gastrointestinal diseases, with the incidence in the experimental group being higher than that in the control group, and the main manifestations were gastrointestinal symptoms. There was no statistical difference in other types of adverse reactions between the two groups. In the trial period, there were 10 cases of serious adverse reactions, including 5 cases in the experimental group (5/2146, 0.23%) and 5 cases in the control group (5/ 1161, 0.43%), the P value was 0.3351; the difference in the incidence between the two groups was not statistically significant. Conclusion. For CHD patients with heart-blood stasis syndrome, the combination of aspirin and GXN tablets in the experimental group did not increase the incidence of bleeding events, nor did it increase the risk of bleeding of types 3–5 defined by BARC. As a traditional Chinese sport, competitive martial arts routines have a long history. The competition rules are the unified norms and standards formulated for sports competitions. They are a yardstick for referees to judge the technical level and competitive ability of athletes and an essential basis for coaches during training. In particular, the new rules increase the difficulty of martial arts routines training and score, improve the balance movement of various groups, highlight the action specifications, increase the proportion of the score, and strengthen the scoring measures for the performance level. Subsequently, this puts higher requirements for the exceptional technical level of routine athletes. Therefore, it is vital to formulate scientific martial arts systematic training methods. This paper considers the above problem and current popular artificial intelligence technology and constructs a neural network algorithm to solve it. In addition, since lactic acid is a good monitoring indicator of the training load intensity and effect of martial arts routine exercises, this article also considers extensive lactate measurement data to construct martial arts systematic training methods. With the rapid development of computer science and information technology, artificial intelligence (AI) has been developed from theory to application. As a key technology in the modern society, AI is increasingly affecting all aspects of people's daily lives, including sports training. AI can be considered as an assistive technology to provide specific support to athletes' physical education training through various means such as data analysis and simulation of training scenarios. Although research on AI is still in the preliminary stage, it is significant to explore how AI can be applied in sports training since this emerging technology could facilitate people's physical training to some extent. This paper first reviews the existing research on AI applications. Then, based on the fundamental concept and related research results of AI, this study explores three specific cases of AI application in sports training and explains the main principles. This research focuses on discussing the strong relationship between AI technology and physical education training and highlights the advantages of AI, including utilization, convenience, and innovation. Accumulating evidence has demonstrated that circular RNAs (circRNAs) play vital roles in cancer progression. However, the underlying molecular mechanisms of circRNAs remain poorly elucidated in gastric cancer (GC). The main purpose of present study is to explore the underlying regulatory mechanism by constructing a circRNA-associated competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA) network and further establish a robust prognostic signature for patients with GC. Based on expression data of circRNA, microRNA, and mRNA derived from Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) and The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) databases, a circRNA-associated ceRNA network, containing 15 cirRNAs, 9 microRNAs, and 35 mRNAs, was constructed using the Starbase database. Functional enrichment analysis showed that the ceRNA network might be involved in many cancer-related pathways, such as regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter, mesodermal cell differentiation, and focal adhesion. A protein-protein interaction network was constructed based on genes within the circRNA-associated ceRNA network. We found that six of ten hub genes within the PPI network were significantly associated with overall survival (OS). Thus, using the LASSO method, we constructed a three-gene prognostic signature based on TCGA-GC cohort, which could classify GC patients into low-risk and high-risk groups with significant difference in OS (HR = 1.9 , 95 % CI = 1.14 ‐ 3.2 , and log-rank p = 0.001). The prognostic performance of the three-gene signature was verified in GSE15459 (HR = 1.9 , 95 % CI = 1.27 ‐ 3.0 , and log − rank p = 2.2 E − 05) and GSE84437 (HR = 1.5 , 95 % CI = 1.17 ‐ 2.0 , and log − rank p = 6.3 E − 04). Multivariate Cox analysis further revealed that the three-gene prognostic signature could serve as an independent risk factor for OS. Taken together, our findings contribute to a better understanding of the underlying mechanisms of circRNAs in GC progression. Salvianolic acid B is the main active ingredient in salvianolate injection, which is produced by extracting danshen, the most commonly used Chinese herbal medicine for cardiovascular treatment. Clinically, salvianolate injection and aspirin are commonly combined to treat coronary heart diseases in patients with stable angina. To support clinical studies on drug-drug interactions (DDIs) between salvianolate injection and aspirin, a rapid and sensitive UPLC-MS/MS method for the simultaneous determination of aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid), its metabolite salicylic acid, and salvianolic acid B in human plasma was developed. The analytes and internal standard were extracted from the acidified plasma by liquid-liquid extraction with ethyl acetate and then separated by gradient elution with acetonitrile/0.5% formic acid in water on a C18 column. Salvianolic acid B, acetylsalicylic acid, and salicylic acid were quantified in multiple-reaction monitoring mode with negative ion electrospray ionization. The method was fully validated according to the current regulatory guidance for bioanalysis. Calibration curves in the range 5–6000 ng/mL, all with correlation coefficients greater than 0.99, were established using linear regression models for salvianolic acid B and acetylsalicylic acid and a quadratic model for salicylic acid. The validated method was successfully used to measure salvianolic acid B, acetylsalicylic acid, and salicylic acid concentrations in human plasma samples from 16 patients to observe the pharmacokinetic changes caused by DDIs. Objective. To explore the possible mechanism of electroacupuncture to improve insulin sensitivity in type 2 diabetes rats. Methods. Fourteen Zucker Diabetic Fatty (ZDF) rats were randomly divided into two groups: a model group and an electroacupuncture group, with 7 rats in each group. Seven Zucker Lean (ZL) rats served as a control group. All rats were fed with Purina #5008 for 4 weeks, and the electroacupuncture group received 4-week electroacupuncture intervention, while the control group and model group received no intervention. We measured fasting blood glucose (FBG) on the fourth weekend. After 4 weeks of intervention, the expression levels of insulin receptor substrate-1 (IRS-1) tyrosine phosphorylation, IRS-1 serine/threonine phosphorylation, and GLUT4 in quadriceps femoris muscles were detected by western Blot. Results. Compared with the model group, the electroacupuncture group had a lower level of fasting blood glucose, serum insulin level, and insulin resistance index (P < 0.05). The electroacupuncture group had lower IRS-1 serine/threonine phosphorylation than the model group, with the difference showing statistical significance (P < 0.05). Furthermore, the mean score (MS) of the control group showed the lowest phosphorylation expression, followed by the electroacupuncture group, while the model group had the highest level of phosphorylated protein expression. The level of IRS-1 tyrosine phosphorylation at Tyr895 sites was compared, and the result showed that there was no significant difference between the electroacupuncture group and the control group (P > 0.05), and the electroacupuncture group had higher phosphorylation expression than the model group (P < 0.05). Compared with the control group and the model group, the expression level of GLUT4 protein in the electroacupuncture group was significantly increased (P < 0.05). Conclusion. Electroacupuncture has the effect to improve the insulin sensitivity of type 2 diabetic ZDF rats by reducing fasting blood glucose, insulin level, and insulin resistance index, effectively up regulating the expression of GLUT4 protein in quadriceps femoris muscle. We report a 15-year-old boy with cat-eye syndrome (CES) without short stature or intellectual disorder. The boy was confirmed by cytogenetic and high-resolution chromosome microarray analysis (CMA). The G-banding karyotype confirmed the de novo of the patient. Also, the CMA result showed 1.76 Mb tetrasomy of proximal 22Q11.1 ⟶ 22Q11.21 consistent with CES {arr22q11.1q11.21 (16,888,899–18,644,241) X4}, a typical small type I CES chromosome. The patient has many of the basic characteristics of CES; however, he is taller than his peers instead of shorter. It is rarely reported in the past since short stature is a common feature of this syndrome. Furthermore, the boy has no intellectual disorder and attends a normal school since he was six-year-old. In order to improve the weeding efficiency and protect farm crops, accurate and fast weeds removal guidance to agricultural mobile robots is an utmost important topic. Based on this motivation, we propose a time-efficient quadratic traversal algorithm for the removal guidance of weeds around the recognized corn in the field. To recognize the weeds and corns, a Faster R-CNN neural network is implemented in real-time recognition. Then, an ultra-green characterization (EXG) hyperparameter is used for grayscale image processing. An improved OTSU (IOTSU) algorithm is proposed to accurately generate and optimize the binary image. Compared to the traditional OTSU algorithm, the improved OTSU algorithm effectively shortens the search speed of the algorithm and reduces the calculation processing time by compressing the range of the search grayscale range. Finally, based on the contour of the target plants and the Canny edge detection operator, the shortest weeding path guidance can be calculated by the proposed quadratic traversal algorithm. The experimental results proved that our search success rate can reach 90.0% on the testing date. This result ensured the accurate selection of the target 2D coordinates in the pixel coordinate system. Transforming the target 2D coordinate point in the pixel coordinate system into the 3D coordinate point in the camera coordinate system as well as using a depth camera can achieve multitarget depth ranging and path planning for an optimized weeding path. The unprecedented COVID‐19 pandemic has affected human lives at all levels. Maps visualizing this pandemic have become a valuable tool for public to retrieve and understand the situation in their areas of interest. Some earlier maps visualize information at the level of country or state in the United States, but viewers could not access information at a finer level such as county. Motivated by the necessity of visualizing information at a finer level, this study designs a thematic map displaying confirmed COVID‐19 cases at the county level in the State of New York. The thematic map utilizes a choropleth design with defined data classification and colors for symbolization. This study then evaluates this designed thematic map with two other published maps: one from the New York State Department of Health and one from The New York Times. The evaluation collects 147 valid responses from public all over the world. Results show that choropleth design yields higher accuracy of map understanding. In addition, the designed map in this study receives higher preference among participants. This study suggests the importance of understanding the data, readers, and mapping purpose in the decision of data classification and symbolization in map design, as it contributes largely to the effectiveness of map interpretation. High‐resolution range profile (HRRP) has obtained intensive attention in radar target recognition and convolutional neural networks (CNNs) are among predominant approaches to deal with HRRP recognition problems. However, most CNNs are designed by the rule‐of‐thumb and suffer from much more computational complexity. Aiming at enhancing the channels of one‐dimensional CNN (1D‐CNN) for extracting efficient structural information oftargets form HRRP and reducing the computation complexity, we propose a novel framework for HRRP‐based target recognition based on 1D‐CNN with channel attention and channel pruning. By introducing an aggregation‐perception‐recalibration (APR) block for channel attention to the 1D‐CNN backbone, channels in each 1D convolutional layer can adaptively learn to recalibrate the extracted features for enhancing the structural information captured from HRRP. To avoid rule‐of‐thumb design and reduce the computation complexity of 1D‐CNN, we proposed a new method incorporated withthe global best leading artificial bee colony (GBL‐ABC) to prune the original network based on the lottery ticket hypothesis in an automatic and heuristic manner. Memory decline has become an issue of major importance in the aging society. Anodal transcranial direct current stimulation (atDCS) is a viable tool to counteract age-associated episodic memory deterioration. However, the underlying neural mechanisms are unclear. In this single-blind, sham-controlled study, we combined atDCS and functional magnetic resonance imaging to assess the behavioral and neural consequences of multiple-session atDCS in older adults. Forty-nine healthy older adults received either 10 sessions of anodal or sham stimulation over the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex. Before and after stimulation, participants performed a source memory task in the MRI scanner. Compared to sham stimulation, atDCS significantly improved item memory performance. Additionally, atDCS significantly increased regional brain activity around the stimulation area in the prefrontal cortex and extended to the bilateral anterior cingulate cortex. Neural changes in the prefrontal cortex correlated with memory gains. Thaw settlement is one of the common geohazard threats for safe operation of buried pipelines crossing permafrost regions, as pipes need to bear additional bending stress induced by settlement load. In the presented study, a novel coupled data analysis method was proposed for stress state estimation of buried steel pipeline under thawing settlement load. Multisource data including pipe bending strain derived by inertial measurement unit, pipe longitudinal strain derived by strain gauges, and thawing displacement loads derived by soil temperature monitoring were used to estimate the pipe's mechanical states. Based on the derived data, finite element method-based pipe soil interaction model was established to predict pipe's actual stress distribution. A monitored pipe segment of one crude oil pipeline in northeast China operated since 2010 was adopted as a prototype for the investigation, monitoring data derived in the last ten years was employed to predict the settlement loading, and relative accurate stress results was obtained via the established pipe soil interaction model. The mean absolute error (MAE) of the predicted pipe stresses compared with the monitoring results in 2014, 2017, and 2018 are 5.77%, 12.13%, and 13.55%, respectively. Based on the analyzed stress results, it can be found that the investigated pipe was subjected to an increasing settlement load from 2010–2016, made the bending stress increased up to 149.5 MPa. While after 2016, due to the depth of frost soil in this area is no more than 3.5 m, the thawing settlement load almost remained constant after 2016. As the investigated pipe is made by X65 line pipe steel, the von-Mises stress in pipe is much smaller than the allowable one indicating pipe's structural safety status so far. Social networks are new channels for travelers to obtain or share travel information, which has important impacts on their travel decision-making behavior. Therefore, the psychological feelings of travelers and their acceptance intention (AI) of this type of travel information should be explored. In this study, certain psychological latent variables were incorporated into a technology acceptance model to construct an extended model that explores the factors influencing the travelers' AI of travel information on social networks. This model was validated using survey data collected in Chongqing, China. The influence of each factor on the AI and the interaction between factors were quantitatively described using the structural equation modeling method. The results showed that the perceived risk, perceived trust, and perceived usefulness are the most important factors affecting travelers' AI; the subjective norm, hedonic motivation, and perceived ease of use also exert a certain degree of influence; the proposed research model has a good interpretation ability for AI, and the explanatory power has reached 52%. This study confirmed the applicability of the constructed model in this research field on the basis of survey data and provided a theoretical reference for ascertaining the attitude of travelers toward travel information available on social networks. Driverless buses are expected to play a vital role in the future, and better public acceptance will provide a social foundation for its development. In this study, two new variables, personal innovativeness (PI) and perceived risk (PR), were incorporated into the integrated technology acceptance model (UTAUT, unified theory of acceptance and use of technology) to construct an extended model, which was then applied to explore the influencing factors for the public acceptance of driverless buses. The quality of this extended model was verified through survey data collected in Chongqing, China. The structural equation modeling (SEM) method was adopted to quantitatively describe the impact of each factor on acceptance intention (AI) as well as the mutual influence relationships between the factors. The moderating effects of demographic attributes (gender, age, and education level) on each factor in the model were also analyzed. The results showed that PI and PR are the most critical factors that affect the public's acceptance intention; effort expectancy (EE), performance expectancy (PE), social influence (SI), and facilitating condition (FC) can also determine the acceptance intention to a certain extent; gender, age, and education level have exhibited significantly different moderating effects on the influencing factors. The explanatory power of the current research model for acceptance intention has reached 48%. This study has confirmed the applicability of the extended UTAUT model to the research of driverless bus acceptance and the research outcomes can serve as a reference basis for improving the service quality of driverless buses in China. The study aimed to establishing mathematical models which can be used to detect the kiwifruits treated with N‐(2‐chloro‐4‐pyridyl)‐N′‐phenylurea (CPPU) by finding out the characteristic frequencies and sensitive electrical parameters. Related electrical parameters and quality and physiological indicators including soluble solids content (SSC), vitamin C (VC), titratable acidity (TA), flesh firmness, respiratory rate, and the activity of enzymes of "Qinmei" kiwifruit treated with 20 mg/L CPPU were measured during storage to analyze the correlation between them. Results showed that the characteristic frequencies of "Qinmei" treated with and without CPPU are 0.1 and 3,980 kHz, respectively, and that a sensitive electrical parameter common between groups is the parallel equivalent capacitance (Cp). Nondestructive detection of CPPU‐treated kiwifruit was realized by the obtained mathematical model based on the comparison of Cp. This study provides a feasible method for the nondestructive detection of kiwifruit treated with CPPU which could promote efficiency and cost saving. Practical applications: This study provides a feasible method for the nondestructive detection of kiwifruit treated with CPPU which could be widely applied in enterprises. Objective: Recent studies have focused on the special roles of NADPH-oxidase in multiple autoimmune diseases. Nevertheless, the association of genetic variation in NADPH-oxidase genes with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) was not extensively studied in a Chinese population. We performed this study to examine the association of NCF2, NCF4, and CYBA gene polymorphisms with RA susceptibility in a Chinese population.Methods: Six single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) (NCF2 rs10911363, NCF4 rs1883112, rs4821544, rs729749, CYBA rs3794624, and rs4673) were genotyped in a cohort composed of 593 RA patients and 596 normal controls. Improved multiple ligase detection reaction (iMLDR) was used for genotyping.Results: We observed that NCF4 rs4821544 CT genotype and C allele frequencies in RA patients were significantly decreased when compared to controls (CT vs. TT: P = 0.043; C vs. T: P = 0.031), and rs4821544 polymorphism was significantly associated with an increased RA risk under the dominant model (TT vs. CT+CC: P = 0.031). Our results also indicated that rs729749 CT genotype frequency was significantly lower in RA patients than that in controls (CT vs. CC: P = 0.033). Moreover, the rs729749 CT genotype frequency was also significantly decreased in RA patients in males (CT vs. CC: P = 0.024). No significant association between NCF2 and CYBA gene polymorphisms and RA susceptibility was observed. There were significant associations between rs4821544 TT genotype and T allele frequencies and anti-CCP in male RA patients.Conclusions: In summary, NCF4 rs4821544 and rs729749 polymorphisms might contribute to RA susceptibility, while NCF2 and CYBA gene polymorphisms were not associated with RA susceptibility. Objective. To understand how to implement proactive prevention measures among healthcare professionals for preventing potential nosocomial infection. Methods. 91 healthcare professionals confirmed with the COVID-19 infection were collected, and clinical characteristics and epidemiological data were evaluated. Results. Among the cases, 77 cases (84.6%) were confirmed by the viral nucleic acid test, and the other 14 cases were diagnosed by the clinical investigation. Ground glass opacity and bilateral shadows distribution were observed in 78 cases (85.6%). 56 cases (61.5%) were admitted into Zhongnan Hospital and subjected to antiviral treatment. 73 of a total of 91 cases (80.2%) with a median incubation period of 3 days (IQR, 2 to 6) reported close contact history with patients with the COVID-19 infection. The most common symptoms at the onset of illness were fever (66 cases, 72.5%) and cough (54 cases, 59.3%). The initial positive rate of the CT scan and RT-PCR assay were 84.6% and 48.4%, respectively (P < 0.01). There were 50 cases occurred during the early stage (before Jan 20, 2020), whereas 41 cases occurred at a late stage (after Jan 20, 2020). In the early stage, the most common route of exposure to COVID-19 was via direct care in the absence of any invasive procedure. By contrast, 37 healthcare professionals infected with COVID-19 in the late stage were confirmed to have been exposed via aerosol-generating procedures. Conclusion. Identification of the asymptomatic individuals in healthcare settings and prompt response when a suspicious case is considered may render effective control of the nosocomial infection during this pandemic. To preserve the existing asphalt pavement and extend its service life, various preventive maintenance methods, such as chip seal, slurry seal, fog seal, and microsurfacing, have been commonly applied. Sand fog seal is one of such maintenance methods, which is based on the application of bitumen emulsion and sand. Thus, its performance is largely dependent on the properties of the bitumen emulsion and sand. This study aims to develop an improved sand fog seal method by using waterborne epoxy resin as an emulsion modifier. To this end, both laboratory tests and field trials were conducted. In the laboratory, the wet track abrasion and British pendulum test were performed to determine the optimum sand size for the sand fog seal, and the rubbing test was carried out to evaluate the wearing resistance of the sealing material. In the field, pavement surface regularity before and after the sand fog seal application was measured using the 3 m straightedge method, and the surface macrotexture and skid resistance were evaluated with the sand patch method and British pendulum test, respectively. The laboratory test results indicated that the optimum sand size range is 0.45–0.9 mm, and the sand fog seal with waterborne epoxy resin showed good wearing resistance and skid resistance. Bistatic radar imaging can overcome limitations of monostatic radar imaging and obtain abundant target feature information; thus, it is followed with interest. Different from bistatic inverse synthetic aperture radar (Bi-ISAR) imaging, bistatic radar coincidence imaging (Bi-RCI) provides a new tack on the bistatic radar imaging technique. In this paper, a Bi-RCI based on multiple measurement vectors (MMV) for rotating cone-shaped targets is proposed to realize Bi-RCI coherent processing and improve imaging performance. Based on the mixed mode signals, a MMV parametric model is established and measurement number coarse selection is proposed. Finally, a modified sparse Bayesian learning (MSBL) algorithm is introduced to reconstruct the target image. Simulation results demonstrate the validity and the superiority of the proposed method. Emodin is an active monomer extracted from rhubarb root, which has many biological functions, including anti-inflammation, antioxidation, anticancer, and neuroprotection. However, the protective effect of emodin on nerve injury needs to be further elucidated. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of emodin on the neuroprotection and the special molecular mechanism. Here, the protective activity of emodin inhibiting H2O2-induced apoptosis and neuroinflammation as well as its molecular mechanisms was examined using human neuroblastoma cells (SH-SY5Y cells). The results showed that emodin significantly enhanced cell viability, reduced cell apoptosis and LDH release. Simultaneously, emodin downregulated H2O2-induced inflammatory factors, including IL-6, NO, and TNF-α, and alleviated H2O2-induced oxidative stress and mitochondrial dysfunction in SH-SY5Y cells. In addition, emodin inhibited the activation of the PI3K/mTOR/GSK3β signaling pathway. What is more, the PI3K/mTOR/GSK3β pathway participated in the protective mechanism of emodin on H2O2-induced cell damage. Phosphate (Pi) deficiency in soil can have severe impacts on the growth, development, and production of maize worldwide. In this study, a cDNA-sequence-related amplified polymorphism (cDNA-SRAP) transcript profiling technique was used to evaluate the gene expression in leaves and roots of maize under Pi stress for seven days. A total of 2494 differentially expressed fragments (DEFs) were identified in response to Pi starvation with 1202 and 1292 DEFs in leaves and roots, respectively, using a total of 60 primer pairs in the cDNA-SRAP analysis. These DEFs were categorized into 13 differential gene expression patterns. Results of sequencing and functional analysis showed that 63 DEFs (33 in leaves and 30 in roots) were annotated to a total of 54 genes involved in diverse groups of biological pathways, including metabolism, photosynthesis, signal transduction, transcription, transport, cellular processes, genetic information, and organismal system. This study demonstrated that (1) the cDNA-SRAP transcriptomic profiling technique is a powerful method to analyze differential gene expression in maize showing advantageous features among several transcriptomic methods; (2) maize undergoes a complex adaptive process in response to low Pi stress; and (3) a total of seven differentially expressed genes were identified in response to low Pi stress in leaves or roots of maize and could be used in the genetic modification of maize. The initial alignment is one of the difficult problems of the strapdown inertial navigation system based on the microelectromechanical systems (MEMS-SINS) applied to the navigation of boom-type roadheader under a coalmine. To overcome the complex environment of the underground coalmine and the large noise of the MEMS gyroscope, the laser spot perception system (LSPS) was developed to provide the heading information of the roadheader to aid the initial alignment of the MEMS-SINS. During the process of initial alignment, the differential equation of heading error is derived, the heading error is extended as a state variable, and a nonlinear initial alignment model aided by heading error is built up. To cope with the time-varying noise statistics of MEMS-SINS in the working face of the coal mine roadway, a simplified strong tracking Unscented Kalman Filter (SST-UKF) algorithm is proposed by combining covariance matching technology with UKF. In the calculation of the measurement prediction covariance and the cross covariance, the fading factor is introduced, respectively, to avoid the contradiction between the residuals before and after the introduction; according to the characteristics of the observation equation being a linear equation, it proves that the state prediction covariance matrix change does not affect the observation measurement and uses unscented transform (UT) only once in the state estimation and variance prediction; thus, the computational burden of the algorithm is reduced and the real-time performance is improved. The simulation and onboard experiment results show that the proposed scheme can achieve horizontal alignment within 40 s and convergence azimuth misalignment angle to 0.9° within 450 s, which fully meets the requirements of MEMS-SINS initial alignment for underground coalmine roadheader. YuPingFeng (YPF) granules are a classic herbal formula extensively used in clinical practice in China for the treatment of COPD. However, the pathological mechanisms of YPF in COPD remain undefined. In the present research, a network pharmacology-based strategy was implemented to elucidate the underlying multicomponent, multitarget, and multipathway modes of action of YPF against COPD. First, we identified putative YPF targets based on TCMSP databases and constructed a network containing interactions between putative YPF targets and known therapeutic targets of COPD. Next, two topological parameters, "degree" and "closeness," were calculated to identify target genes in the network. The major hubs were imported to the MetaCore database for pathway enrichment analysis. In total, 23 YPF active ingredients and 83 target genes associated with COPD were identified. Through protein interaction network analysis, 26 genes were identified as major hubs due to their topological importance. GO and KEGG enrichment analysis results revealed YPF to be mainly associated with the response to glucocorticoids and steroid hormones, with apoptotic and HIF-1 signalling pathways being dominant and correlative pathways. Background. Recently, a novel systemic immune-inflammation index (SII) based on peripheral lymphocytes, neutrophils, and platelets has been reported to be correlated with patient prognosis in several malignancies, including gastric cancer. However, the prognostic value of the SII for gastric cancer patients with a signet-ring cell (SRC) component has not yet been reported. In this study, we aimed to assess the prognostic value of the SII in gastric cancer patients with an SRC component after curative resection. Methods. This study was a retrospective analysis of 512 GC patients with an SRC component who underwent curative resection. The prognostic value of the SII was analyzed by the Kaplan-Meier method and Cox proportional hazards regression model. Results. In our study cohort, an optimal cut-off value for the SII of 527 was used to stratify patients with gastric cancer (GC) into low (<527) and high SII (≥527) groups. Our study indicated that a high SII (≥527) was significantly correlated with a large tumor size (p < 0.001), infiltration of serosa (p < 0.001), lymph node metastasis (p < 0.001), and advanced TNM stage (p < 0.001). Univariate and multivariate analyses further demonstrated that a low SII was correlated with better clinical outcome and was an independent prognostic predictor in GC patients with an SRC component. Furthermore, the SII retained prognostic value in the subgroup analysis, including subgroup of different TNM stages and pure or mixed signet-ring cell carcinomas (SRCCs). Conclusion. The SII is a simple, promising, and practical prognostic biomarker for patients with surgically resected mixed SRCC and pure SRCC. Objective. To investigate the temporal trends in mortality and disease burden of injuries in Anhui province from 2008 to 2017, so as to provide reference for injury control and prevention. Methods. Data of mortality were collected from 9 national surveillance points in Anhui province during 2008-2017 in the Information System for Death Cause Register and Management. The surveillance data were analyzed by using crude mortality, standardized mortality rate (SMR), potential year of life lost (PYLL), PYLL rate (PYLLR), and average of year life lost (AYLL). Results. There were a total of 44855 people died from injury, accounted for 9.44% of the all-cause mortality, ranked as the fifth leading cause of deaths in the whole population, and denoted the first leading cause of deaths in the 0-44 year's group. The leading causes of injury deaths were road traffic accidents, suicide, accidental falls, drowning, and poisoning. Road traffic accidents was the primary cause of injury deaths among the male population, while suicide was the dominate cause of injury deaths among the female population. Drowning, traffic accidents, and suicide accounted for the most injury deaths among the population aged 0-14 years, 15-64 years, and above 60 years, respectively. The road traffic accidents accounted for the largest proportion of injury PYLL and PYLLR, and drowning caused the highest AYLL among injury deaths. Conclusion. In Anhui province, road traffic accidents, suicide, accidental falls, drowning, and poisoning were the top five causes of injury deaths that harm the health of local residents; corresponding injury prevention strategies should be formulated. A pincer nail is a common nail deformity of toenails and is characterized by nail thickening and nail plate deformation. It often causes severe pain for patients. We perform a thorough literature review and an additional review of pertinent clinical cases, aiming to provide a comprehensive review of the etiology, pathogenesis, clinical classification, differential diagnosis, and treatment of pincer nail deformity (PND). Understanding the clinical characteristics and treatment progress of a pincer nail will provide clinicians with comprehensive and evidence-based information about PND, thus allowing the selection of an appropriate treatment according to the patient's request and the clinical manifestations of PND, which should maximize patient satisfaction. Cold recycling technology is a widely applied asphalt pavement rehabilitation technology. The properties of emulsified asphalt residues after water evaporates play an important role in the performance of the asphalt pavement. This paper investigates the rheological and fatigue properties of emulsified asphalt residues under different evaporation methods. Two different matrix asphalt binders and emulsifiers were selected to prepare the emulsified asphalt. Moreover, the direct heating method (DHM) and the EN13074 and ASTM D7497-09 evaporation methods were used to obtain emulsified asphalt residues. Furthermore, the linear viscoelasticity, the permanent deformation resistance, and the fatigue resistance were evaluated by the temperature sweep and frequency sweep tests, the multiple stress creep recovery (MSCR) test, and the linear amplitude sweep (LAS) test, respectively. The test results show that under the three evaporation conditions, the growth amplitude order of the rutting factor, recovery percent, complex modulus, and fatigue life of emulsified asphalt residues is ASTM D7497-09 > EN13074 > DHM, and as is the attenuation amplitude order of the nonrecoverable creep compliance and phase angle. The results reveal that the evaporation process leads to oxidation and hardening of the residues. The hardening degree of the ASTM D7497-09 evaporation method is higher than that of the EN13074 evaporation method, and the hardening degree of the EN13074 evaporation method is higher than that of the direct heating method. The rheological and fatigue performances of the emulsified asphalt residues depend on the matrix asphalt. Moreover, the residue that was prepared from 70# asphalt has good high-temperature and fatigue properties, but it has higher temperature sensitivity and stress sensitivity. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Ketogenic diet (KD), the "High‐fat, low‐carbohydrate, adequate‐protein" diet strategy, replacing glucose with ketone bodies, is effective against several diseases, from intractable epileptic seizures, metabolic disorders, tumors, autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease, and neurodegeneration to skeletal muscle atrophy and peripheral neuropathy. Key mechanisms include augmented mitochondrial efficiency, reduced oxidative stress, and regulated phospho‐AMP‐activated protein kinase, gamma‐aminobutyric acid‐glutamate, Na+/K+ pump, leptin and adiponectin levels, ghrelin levels, lipogenesis, ketogenesis, lipolysis, and gluconeogenesis. In cancer cells, KD targets glucose metabolism, suppresses insulin‐like growth factor‐1 and PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathways, and reduces cancer cachexia and muscle waste and fatigue. An associated increased skeletal proliferator‐activated receptor‐γ coactivator‐1α activity alters systemic ketone body homeostasis, contributing toward attenuated diabetic hyperketonemia. Antioxidative and anti‐inflammatory properties enable KD enhance endurance and sports performances while preventing exercise‐induced muscle and organ debility. KD reduces metabolic syndromes‐associated allodynia and promotes peripheral axonal and sensory regeneration. This review enlightens effects of KD on various disease conditions. In this article, we provide a comprehensive analysis of the benefits of KD against many diseases and discuss the underlying biochemical mechanisms. We hope that our write‐up will stimulate further research on KD and help generate an interest for the populations to adopt this healthy diet. In order to prevent the overfitting and improve the generalization performance of Extreme Learning Machine (ELM), a new regularization method, Biased DropConnect, and a new regularized ELM using the Biased DropConnect and Biased Dropout (BD-ELM) are both proposed in this paper. Like the Biased Dropout to hidden nodes, the Biased DropConnect can utilize the difference of connection weights to keep more information of network after dropping. The regular Dropout and DropConnect set the connection weights and output of the hidden layer to 0 with a single fixed probability. But the Biased DropConnect and Biased Dropout divide the connection weights and hidden nodes into high and low groups by threshold, and set different groups to 0 with different probabilities. Connection weights with high value and hidden nodes with a high-activated value, which make more contribution to network performance, will be kept by a lower drop probability, while the weights and hidden nodes with a low value will be given a higher drop probability to keep the drop probability of the whole network to a fixed constant. Using Biased DropConnect and Biased Dropout regularization, in BD-ELM, the sparsity of parameters is enhanced and the structural complexity is reduced. Experiments on various benchmark datasets show that Biased DropConnect and Biased Dropout can effectively address the overfitting, and BD-ELM can provide higher classification accuracy than ELM, R-ELM, and Drop-ELM. Background. Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a serious public health problem worldwide. Accumulating evidence has shown that β-cell dysfunction is an important mechanism underlying diabetes mellitus. The changes in the physiological state of islet stellate cells (ISCs) and the effects of these cells on β cell function play an important role in the development of diabetes. This study aimed at elucidating the mechanism by which ISCs regulate insulin secretion from Min6 cells via the Wnt5a protein. Methods. Glucose-stimulated insulin secretion (GSIS) from Min6 cells was examined by estimating the insulin levels in response to high glucose challenge after culture with ISC supernatant or exogenous Wnt5a. Western blotting and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) analyses were used to observe changes in the β-catenin, receptor tyrosine kinase-like orphan receptor 2 (Ror2), Ca (2+)/calmodulin (CaM)-dependent protein kinase II (CamKII), forkhead box O1 (FoxO1), pancreatic and duodenal homeobox 1 (PDX1), glucose transporter 2 (Glut2), insulin, and Cask mRNA and protein levels in the Wnt and insulin secretory pathways. Flow cytometry was used to confirm the intracellular Ca2+ concentration in Min6 cells. Results. We observed a significant increase in insulin secretion from Min6 cells cocultured in vitro with supernatant from db/m mouse ISCs compared to that from Min6 cells cocultured with supernatant from db/db mouse ISCs; The intracellular Ca2+ concentration in Min6 cells increased in cultured in vitro with supernatant from db/m mouse ISCs and exogenous Wnt5a compared to that from control Min6 cells. Culture of Min6 cells with exogenous Wnt5a caused a significant increase in pCamKII, pFoxO1, PDX-1, and Glut2 levels compared to those in Min6 cells cultured alone; this treatment further decreased Ror2 and Cask expression but did not affect β-catenin expression. Conclusion. ISCs regulate insulin secretion from Min6 cells through the Wnt5a protein-induced Wnt-calcium and FoxO1-PDX1-GLUT2-insulin signalling cascades. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The finite element numerical simulation method was used to study the stretch-bending process of asymmetric L-section aluminum alloy profiles. The geometrical parameters of the multipoint dies (MPDs) are studied to influence the shape accuracy and springback of the L-section profile after bending. The results show that the profile curvature of the MPD after the profile is bent has a great influence on the stress-strain distribution, springback value, and shape accuracy. In order to obtain uniform stress-strain of the profile and reduce the springback and shape error, the MPD is optimized by numerical simulation analysis, which has a certain reference value of providing a theoretical basis for the rational design of the flexible stretch-bending.
