The article presents the author's insight on the new series of the journal "National Geographic Magazine" as an American monthly publication. The author states that the editors struggle to identify the precise scope of the journal with the mutuality between sciences and geographic, as geography also deals physical, political and commercial aspects of the New World. The author notes that various works from the members of the National Geographic Society will be regularly published in the journal.
