Cryo-electron micrograph images have various characteristics such as varying sizes, shapes, and distribution densities of individual particles, severe background noise, high levels of impurities, irregular shapes, blurred edges, and similar color to the background. How to demonstrate good adaptability in the field of image vision by picking up single particles from multiple types of cryo-electron micrographs is currently a challenge in the field of cryo-electron micrographs. This paper combines the characteristics of the MixUp hybrid enhancement algorithm, enhances the image feature information in the pre-processing stage, builds a feature perception network based on the channel self-attention mechanism in the forward network of the Swin Transformer model network, achieving adaptive adjustment of self-attention mechanism between different single particles, increasing the network's tolerance to noise, Incorporating PReLU activation function to enhance information exchange between pixel blocks of different single particles, and combining the Cross-Entropy function with the softmax function to construct a classification network based on Swin Transformer suitable for cryo-electron micrograph single particle detection model (Swin-cryoEM), achieving mixed detection of multiple types of single particles. Swin-cryoEM algorithm can better solve the problem of good adaptability in picking single particles of many types of cryo-electron micrographs, improve the accuracy and generalization ability of the single particle picking method, and provide high-quality data support for the three-dimensional reconstruction of a single particle. In this paper, ablation experiments and comparison experiments were designed to evaluate and compare Swin-cryoEM algorithms in detail and comprehensively on multiple datasets. The Average Precision is an important evaluation index of the evaluation model, and the optimal Average Precision reached 95.5% in the training stage Swin-cryoEM, and the single particle picking performance was also superior in the prediction stage. This model inherits the advantages of the Swin Transformer detection model and is superior to mainstream models such as Faster R-CNN and YOLOv5 in terms of the single particle detection capability of cryo-electron micrographs. In industry, the task of defect classification and defect localization is an important part of defect detection system. However, existing studies only focus on one task and it is difficult to ensure the accuracy of both tasks. This paper proposes a defect detection system based on improved Yolo_v4, which greatly improves the detection ability of minor defects. For K_Means algorithm clustering prianchors question with strong subjectivity, the paper proposes the Density Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise (DBSCAN) algorithm to determine the number of Anchors. To solve the problem of low detection rate of small targets caused by insufficient reuse rate of low-level features in CSPDarknet53 feature extraction network, this paper proposes an ECA-DenseNet-BC-121 feature extraction network to improve it. And the Dual Channel Feature Enhancement (DCFE) module is proposed to improve the local information loss and gradient propagation obstruction caused by quad chain convolution in PANet networks to improve the robustness of the model. The experimental results on the fabric surface defect detection datasets show that the mAP of the improved Yolo_v4 is 98.97%, which is 7.67% higher than SSD, 3.75% higher than Faster_RCNN, 10.82% higher than Yolo_v4 tiny, and 5.35% higher than Yolo_v4, and the detection speed reaches 39.4 fps. The algorithm proposed in this paper aims at solving the problem of star map matching in high-limiting-magnitude astronomical images, which is inspired by geometric voting star identification techniques. It is a two-step star map matching algorithm relying only on angular features, and adopts a reasonable matching strategy to overcome the problem of poor real-time performance of the geometric voting algorithm when the number of stars is large. The algorithm focuses on application scenarios where there are a large number of dense stars (limiting magnitude greater than 13, average number of stars per square degree greater than 185) in the image, which is different from the sparse star identification problem of the star tracker, which is more challenging for the robustness and real-time performance of the algorithm. Granular computing (GrC) is a methodology for reducing the complexity of problem solving and includes two basic aspects: granulation and granular-based computing. Strongly connected components (SCCs) are a significant subgraph structure in digraphs. In this paper, two new granulation strategies were devised to improve the efficiency of computing SCCs. Firstly, four SCC correlations between the vertices were found, which can be divided into two classes. Secondly, two granulation strategies were designed based on correlations between two classes of SCCs. Thirdly, according to the characteristics of the granulation results, the parallelization of computing SCCs was realized. Finally, a parallel algorithm based on granulation strategy for computing SCCs of simple digraphs named GPSCC was proposed. The sparse triangular solver (SpTRSV) is mostly used for scientific and engineering applications. The structured-grid triangular solver of regular dependencies (STRSV) is a special kind of SpTRSV. Some general SpTRSVs that disregards the regularity of the matrix are unsuitable for solving this problem. This paper proposes an efficient parallel algorithm for STRSV on the SW26010 (a kind of China independently designed many-core processors), namely swStructTRSV. The algorithm makes full use of the fine-grained and low latency communication characteristics of the SW26010 to reduce the waiting time for synchronization, maximizes the regularity of access to improve memory access bandwidth, and achieves overlap between memory access and computation simultaneously. Moreover, the idea of the algorithm can be extended to incomplete LU factorization (ILU factorization) because of consistent dependencies. The experimental results on a core group(8 * 8 network composed of 64 cores) of SW26010 show that swStructTRSV can achieve an average speedup of over 30 in the sequential version. swStructTRSV on SW26010 achieves solving speedups of 2.2 and 6.3 over the fast STRSV (fSpTRSV) previously implemented on SW26010 and MKL on Intel Xeon Gold 6132, respectively. swStructTRSV significantly outperforms cuSparse on NVIDIA TITAN RTX in terms of overall execution time. With the rapid development of the intelligent driving technology, achieving accurate path planning for unmanned vehicles has become increasingly crucial. However, path planning algorithms face challenges when dealing with complex and ever-changing road conditions. In this paper, aiming at improving the accuracy and robustness of the generated path, a global programming algorithm based on optimization is proposed, while maintaining the efficiency of the traditional A* algorithm. Firstly, turning penalty function and obstacle raster coefficient are integrated into the search cost function to increase the adaptability and directionality of the search path to the map. Secondly, an efficient search strategy is proposed to solve the problem that trajectories will pass through sparse obstacles while reducing spatial complexity. Thirdly, a redundant node elimination strategy based on discrete smoothing optimization effectively reduces the total length of control points and paths, and greatly reduces the difficulty of subsequent trajectory optimization. Finally, the simulation results, based on real map rasterization, highlight the advanced performance of the path planning and the comparison among the baselines and the proposed strategy showcases that the optimized A* algorithm significantly enhances the security and rationality of the planned path. Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) infrared detection has problems such as weak and small targets, complex backgrounds, and poor real-time detection performance. It is difficult for general target detection algorithms to achieve the requirements of a high detection rate, low missed detection rate, and high real-time performance. In order to solve these problems, this paper proposes an improved small target detection method based on Picodet. First, to address the problem of poor real-time performance, an improved lightweight LCNet network was introduced as the backbone network for feature extraction. Secondly, in order to solve the problems of high false detection rate and missed detection rate due to weak targets, the Squeeze-and-Excitation module was added and the feature pyramid structure was improved. Experimental results obtained on the HIT-UAV public dataset show that the improved detection model's real-time frame rate increased by 31 fps and the average accuracy (MAP) increased by 7%, which proves the effectiveness of this method for UAV infrared small target detection. The Manta Ray Foraging Optimization Algorithm (MRFO) is a metaheuristic algorithm for solving real-world problems. However, MRFO suffers from slow convergence precision and is easily trapped in a local optimal. Hence, to overcome these deficiencies, this paper proposes an Improved MRFO algorithm (IMRFO) that employs Tent chaotic mapping, the bidirectional search strategy, and the Levy flight strategy. Among these strategies, Tent chaotic mapping distributes the manta ray more uniformly and improves the quality of the initial solution, while the bidirectional search strategy expands the search area. The Levy flight strategy strengthens the algorithm's ability to escape from local optimal. To verify IMRFO's performance, the algorithm is compared with 10 other algorithms on 23 benchmark functions, the CEC2017 and CEC2022 benchmark suites, and five engineering problems, with statistical analysis illustrating the superiority and significance of the difference between IMRFO and other algorithms. In recent years, many image encryption schemes have adopted Hilbert curves for encryption. In this approach, the Hilbert curve is used to encrypt grayscale images by traversal scrambling. However, the correlation between pixels has not been fully considered and those algorithms are not safe enough. To solve this problem, a new image encryption algorithm based on a new chaotic system of 2D-LICM (Two-Dimensional Linear-Infinite-Collapse Chaotic Map) and an improved Hilbert curve is proposed in this paper. First, we propose a new 2D-chaotic system to address the shortcoming that the commonly used chaotic systems are too simple in scope and complexity. Then, a new image encryption algorithm is proposed using the newly designed 2D-LICM and the improved Hilbert curve. The proposed algorithm uses Hilbert curve to reduce the correlation between adjacent pixels of the image at the pixel and bit levels and increase the scrambling and diffusion effects. The traditional golden jackal optimization algorithm (GJO) has slow convergence speed, insufficient accuracy, and weakened optimization ability in the process of finding the optimal solution. At the same time, it is easy to fall into local extremes and other limitations. In this paper, a novel golden jackal optimization algorithm (SCMGJO) combining sine–cosine and Cauchy mutation is proposed. On one hand, tent mapping reverse learning is introduced in population initialization, and sine and cosine strategies are introduced in the update of prey positions, which enhances the global exploration ability of the algorithm. On the other hand, the introduction of Cauchy mutation for perturbation and update of the optimal solution effectively improves the algorithm's ability to obtain the optimal solution. Through the optimization experiment of 23 benchmark test functions, the results show that the SCMGJO algorithm performs well in convergence speed and accuracy. In addition, the stretching/compression spring design problem, three-bar truss design problem, and unmanned aerial vehicle path planning problem are introduced for verification. The optimal operation of reservoir groups is a strongly constrained, multi-stage, and high-dimensional optimization problem. In response to this issue, this article couples the standard Pelican optimization algorithm with adaptive ε constraint methods, and further improves the optimization performance of the algorithm by initializing the population with a good point set, reverse differential evolution, and optimal individual t-distribution perturbation strategy. Based on this, an improved Pelican algorithm coupled with adaptive ε constraint method is proposed (ε-IPOA). The performance of the algorithm was tested through 24 constraint testing functions to find the optimal ability and solve constraint optimization problems. The results showed that the algorithm has strong optimization ability and stable performance. In this paper, we select Sanmenxia and Xiaolangdi reservoirs as the research objects, establish the maximum peak-cutting model of terrace reservoirs, apply the ε-IPOA algorithm to solve the model, and compare it with the ε-POA (Pelican algorithm coupled with adaptive ε constraint method) and ε-DE (Differential Evolution Algorithm) algorithms, the results indicate that ε. The peak flow rate of the Huayuankou control point solved by the IPOA algorithm is 12,319 m3/s, which is much lower than the safe overflow flow rate of 22,000 m3/s at the Huayuankou control point, with a peak shaving rate of 44%, and other algorithms do not find effective solutions meeting the constraint conditions. Identifying the location of the sensor nodes is a challenging aspect of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) in a distributed environment. It is vital to understand where data and events come from when sensor nodes collect data and report on them. This paper uses a nature-inspired Jaya algorithm to estimate the location coordinates of target nodes in a distributed architecture of WSNs. The Jaya algorithm handles the nonlinear optimization problem of node localization in a randomly distributed sensor node configuration. The range-based, Received Signal Strength Indicator method is used for the distance estimation. MATLAB software is used to assess the proposed work, and a comparison is made with the Particle Swarm Optimization, Krill Herd Optimization, and Salp Swarm Algorithm based node localization algorithms in terms of localization error and computation time. The mathematical side of applied problems in multiple subject areas (biology, pattern recognition, etc.) is reduced to the problem of discrete optimization in the following mathematical method. We were provided a network and graphs in its leaves, for which we needed to find a rearrangement of graphs by non-leaf nodes, in which the given functional reached its minimum. Such a problem, even in the simplest case, is NP-hard, which means unavoidable restrictions on the network, on graphs, or on the functional. In this publication, this problem is addressed in the case of all graphs being so-called "structures", meaning directed-loaded graphs consisting of paths and cycles, and the functional as the sum (over all edges in the network) of distances between structures at the endpoints of every edge. The distance itself is equal to the minimal length of sequence from the fixed list of operations, the composition of which transforms the structure at one endpoint of the edge into the structure at its other endpoint. The list of operations (and their costs) on such a graph is fixed. Under these conditions, the given discrete optimization problem is called the reconstruction problem. This paper presents novel algorithms for solving the reconstruction problem, along with full proofs of their low error and low polynomial complexity. For example, for the network, the problem is solved with a zero error algorithm that has a linear polynomial computational complexity; and for the tree the problem is solved using an algorithm with a multiplicative error of at most two, which has a second order polynomial computational complexity. The problem of the interferometric phase unwrapping in radar remote sensing of Earth systems is considered. Such interferograms are widely used in the problems of creating and updating maps of the relief of the Earth's surface in geodesy, cartography, environmental monitoring, geological, hydrological and glaciological studies, and for monitoring transport communications. Modern radar systems have ultra-high spatial resolution and a wide band, which leads to the need to unwrap large interferograms from several tens of millions of elements. The implementation of calculations by these methods requires a processing time of several days. In this paper, an effective method for equalizing the inverse vortex field for phase unwrapping is proposed, which allows solving a problem with quasi-linear computational complexity depending on the interferogram size and the number of singular points on it. To implement the method, a parallel algorithm for solving the problem on a multi-core processor using OpenMP technology was developed. Numerical experiments on radar data models were carried out to investigate the effectiveness of the algorithm depending on the size of the source data, the density of singular points and the number of processor cores. Visual-inertial odometry (VIO) algorithms, fusing various features such as points and lines, are able to improve their performance in challenging scenes while the running time severely increases. In this paper, we propose a novel lightweight point–line visual–inertial odometry algorithm to solve this problem, called LRPL-VIO. Firstly, a fast line matching method is proposed based on the assumption that the photometric values of endpoints and midpoints are invariant between consecutive frames, which greatly reduces the time consumption of the front end. Then, an efficient filter-based state estimation framework is designed to finish information fusion (point, line, and inertial). Fresh measurements of line features with good tracking quality are selected for state estimation using a unique feature selection scheme, which improves the efficiency of the proposed algorithm. Finally, validation experiments are conducted on public datasets and in real-world tests to evaluate the performance of LRPL-VIO and the results show that we outperform other state-of-the-art algorithms especially in terms of speed and robustness. Metaheuristic algorithms, widely applied across various domains due to their simplicity and strong optimization capabilities, play a crucial role in problem-solving. While the Aquila Optimizer is recognized for its effectiveness, it often exhibits slow convergence rates and susceptibility to local optima in certain scenarios. To address these concerns, this paper introduces an enhanced version, termed Tent-enhanced Aquila Optimizer (TEAO). TEAO incorporates the Tent chaotic map to initialize the Aquila population, promoting a more uniform distribution within the solution space. To balance exploration and exploitation, novel formulas are proposed, accelerating convergence while ensuring precision. The effectiveness of the TEAO algorithm is validated through a comprehensive comparison with 14 state-of-the-art algorithms using 23 classical benchmark test functions. Additionally, to assess the practical feasibility of the approach, TEAO is applied to six constrained engineering problems and benchmarked against the performance of the same 14 algorithms. All experimental results consistently demonstrate that TEAO outperforms other advanced algorithms in terms of solution quality and stability, establishing it as a more competitive choice for optimization tasks. In recent years, solar photovoltaic (PV) energy, as a clean energy source, has received widespread attention and experienced rapid growth worldwide. However, the rapid growth of PV power deployment also brings important challenges to the maintenance of PV panels, and in order to solve this problem, this paper proposes an innovative algorithm based on PA-YOLO. First, we propose to use PA-YOLO's asymptotic feature pyramid network (AFPN) instead of YOLOv7's backbone network to support direct interactions of nonadjacent layers and avoid large semantic gaps between nonadjacent layers. For the occlusion problem of dense targets in the dataset, we introduce a repulsive loss function, which successfully reduces the occurrence of false detection situations. Finally, we propose a customized convolutional block equipped with an EMA mechanism to enhance the perceptual and expressive capabilities of the model. Experimental results on the dataset show that our proposed model achieves excellent performance with an average accuracy (mAP) of 94.5%, which is 6.8% higher than YOLOv7. There are a lot of multi-objective optimization problems (MOPs) in the real world, and many multi-objective evolutionary algorithms (MOEAs) have been presented to solve MOPs. However, obtaining non-dominated solutions that trade off convergence and diversity remains a major challenge for a MOEA. To solve this problem, this paper designs an efficient multi-objective sine cosine algorithm based on a competitive mechanism (CMOSCA). In the CMOSCA, the ranking relies on non-dominated sorting, and the crowding distance rank is utilized to choose the outstanding agents, which are employed to guide the evolution of the SCA. Furthermore, a competitive mechanism stemming from the shift-based density estimation approach is adopted to devise a new position updating operator for creating offspring agents. In each competition, two agents are randomly selected from the outstanding agents, and the winner of the competition is integrated into the position update scheme of the SCA. The performance of our proposed CMOSCA was first verified on three benchmark suites (i.e., DTLZ, WFG, and ZDT) with diversity characteristics and compared with several MOEAs. The experimental results indicated that the CMOSCA can obtain a Pareto-optimal front with better convergence and diversity. Finally, the CMOSCA was applied to deal with several engineering design problems taken from the literature, and the statistical results demonstrated that the CMOSCA is an efficient and effective approach for engineering design problems. At present, there are many semantic segmentation algorithms with excellent performance for intelligent driving vehicles, but most of them only work well on scenes with good illumination. In order to solve the problem of scene segmentation under low illumination, this paper proposes a novel semantic segmentation algorithm that combines visible and infrared images. In this algorithm, two parallel encoders are designed as the input of the images, and the decoder divides the fused images output from the encoder. The model is based on ResNet algorithm, and the residual attention module is used in each branch to mine and enhance the spatial features of multilevel channels to extract images information. Experiments are carried out on publicly available thermal infrared and visible datasets. This paper proposes a road crack detection algorithm based on an improved SparseInst network, called the SparseInst-CDSM algorithm, aimed at solving the problems of low recognition accuracy and poor real-time detection of existing algorithms. The algorithm introduces the CBAM module, DCNv2 convolution, SPM strip pooling module, MPM mixed pooling module, etc., effectively improving the integrity and accuracy of crack recognition. At the same time, the central axis skeleton of the crack is extracted using the central axis method, and the length and maximum width of the crack are calculated. In the experimental comparison under the self-built crack dataset, SparseInst-CDSM has an accuracy of 93.66%, a precision of 67.35%, a recall of 66.72%, and an IoU of 84.74%, all higher than mainstream segmentation models such as Mask-RCNN and SOLO that were compared, reflecting the superiority of the algorithm proposed in this paper. The cryptographic system is the foundation of blockchain security mechanisms. This paper constructs a blockchain security mechanism based on the Chinese national cryptographic SM2 algorithm, involving the generation of public–private key pairs and the signing of block information using key pairs. However, the original SM2 algorithm has a high computational complexity, which cannot meet the requirements of low on-chain delay in blockchain applications. To solve this problem, this paper optimizes the SM2 digital signature algorithm. The scalar multiplication operation in the digital signature algorithm has a large computational complexity, which affects the efficiency of a digital signature. To reduce its computational complexity, this paper improves the traditional window non-adjacent form (w-NAF) algorithm for the scalar multiplication operation and proposes a low computational complexity Fw-NAF algorithm based on the prime number precomputation window, which greatly reduces its computational complexity. The paper proposes a topology-free specification of distributed control systems by means of a process-oriented programming paradigm. The proposed approach was characterized, on the one hand, by a topologically independent specification of the control algorithm and, on the other hand, by the possibility of using existing formal verification methods by preserving the semantics of a centralized process-oriented program. The paper discusses the advantages of a topologically independent specification of distributed control systems, outlines the features of control software, argues why the use of a process-oriented approach to the development of the automation of cyber-physical systems is suitable for solving these problems, describes a general scheme for implementing a distributed control system according to a process-oriented specification, and proposes a formal heuristic algorithm for partitioning a sequential process-oriented program into independent clusters. The objective is to guarantee a load balancing of the workload in the time of blocks. The proposed problem is an NP-hard one. To face the hardness of the studied problem, the challenge is to develop algorithms that solve the problem approximately. Finding an approximate solution is a real challenge. In this paper, nine algorithms are proposed. These algorithms are based on the dispatching-rules method, randomization approach, clustering algorithms, and iterative method. The proposed algorithms return approximate solutions in a remarkable time. In addition, in this paper, a novel architecture composed of blocks is proposed. This architecture adds the component "Balancer". This component is responsible to call the best-proposed algorithm and solve the scheduling problem in a polynomial time. In addition, the proposed work helps users to solve the problem of big data concurrency. These algorithms are coded and compared. The performance of these algorithms is tested over three classes of instances. These classes are generated based on uniform distribution. The total number of instances tested is 1350. The average gap, execution time, and the percentage of the best-reached value are used as metrics to measure the performance of the proposed algorithms. Experimental results show the performance of these algorithms and a comparison between them is discussed. Aiming at the problems of low recognition accuracy and large calculation amount of age estimation, this paper proposes a staged single aggregation backbone network VoVNetv4. In order to improve the feature extraction ability of the network, the Regional One-Shot Aggregation (ROSA) module is proposed in the network for regional encapsulation of the feature module. The classifier adopts the COnsistent RAnk Logits (CORAL) framework, which can solve the problem of inconsistency of classifiers in ordered regression CNNs for multiple binary classification tasks. This paper conducts experimental verification on the Asian Face Age Dataset (AFAD) and compares it with other research methods. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles are useful tools for many applications. However, autonomous path planning for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles in unfamiliar environments is a challenging problem when facing a series of problems such as poor consistency, high influence by the native controller of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. In this paper, we investigate reinforcement learning-based autonomous local path planning methods for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles with high autonomous decision-making capability and locally high portability. We propose an autonomous local path planning algorithm based on the TD3 strategy to solve the problem of local obstacle avoidance and path planning in unfamiliar environments using autonomous decision-making of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. The simulation results on Gazebo show that our method can effectively realize the autonomous local path planning task for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, the success rate of path planning with our method can reach 93% under the interference of no obstacles, and 92% in the environment with obstacles. In this paper, a novel spectral method is presented and studied for the fourth order problem with mixed boundary in a cylindrical domain. The basic idea of our approach is to reduce the original problem into a series of decoupled two-dimensional fourth-order problems first, by using the cylindrical coordinate transformation and Fourier expansion, and then adopt the standard spectral method to solve the decoupled problems. A new essential pole condition is proposed to overcome the difficulty caused by the introduction of singularity and variable coefficients in cylindrical coordinate transformation. Existence and uniqueness of the weak solution and the discrete numerical solution are proved, and error estimates of the spectral method are derived. Furthermore, the efficient implementation of our algorithm is discussed, where a set of effective basis functions are constructed to ensure the sparsity of the mass matrix and stiffness matrix. Close-range photogrammetry methods are widely used for non-contact and accurate measurements of surface shapes. These methods are based on calculating the three-dimensional coordinates of an object from two-dimensional images using special digital processing algorithms. Due to the relatively complex measurement principle, the accurate estimation of the photogrammetric measurement error is a non-trivial task. Typically, theoretical estimations or computer modelling are used to solve this problem. However, these approaches cannot provide an accurate estimate because it is impossible to consider all factors that influence the measurement results. To solve this problem, we propose the use of physical modelling. The measurement results from the photogrammetric system under test were compared with the results of a more accurate reference measurement method. This comparison allowed the error to be estimated under controlled conditions. The test object was a flexible surface whose shape could vary smoothly over a wide range. The estimation of the measurement accuracy for a large number of different surface shapes allows us to obtain new results that are difficult to obtain using standard approaches. To implement the proposed approach, a laboratory system for the error estimation of close-range photogrammetric measurements was developed. The paper contains a detailed description of the developed system and the proposed technique for a comparison of the measurement results. The error in the reference method, which was chosen to be phasogrammetry, was evaluated experimentally. Experimental testing of the stereo photogrammetric system was performed according to the proposed technique. Machine learning (ML) is evolving rapidly and has made many theoretical breakthroughs while widely applied in various fields. ML allows systems the ability to access data and use it to enable computers to execute cognitive processes such as learning and improving from previous experiences and solving complicated issues. Many first-order stochastic optimization methods have been used to solve the optimization model of ML. These algorithms adopt Barzilai-Borwein (BB) step size instead of fixed or diminishing step size to improve performance. However, the BB step size format involves fractional calculation, which inevitably leads to a zero denominator, especially when the objective function is non-convex. The BB technique will be violated if the denominator is near 0 or even negative. To improve the computation of the step size, a Positive Defined Stabilized Barzilai-Borwein (PDSBB) approach is introduced in this paper. Integrating PDSBB with the stochastic variance reduced gradient (SVRG) approach, a new method SVRG-PDSBB is proposed. Numerical experiments have shown that the new algorithm has stabilized the performance of the new step size, which successfully avoiding zero denominators and effectively solving the common problems in machine learning. This paper provides a real application of a popular swarm-intelligence optimisation method. The aim is to analyse the efficiency of various settings of the marine predator algorithm (MPA). Four crucial numerical parameters of the MPA are statistically analysed to propose the most efficient setting for solving engineering problems. Besides population size, particle velocity parameter P, Lévy flight parameter β , and fish aggregating device (FAD) probabilities are studied. Finally, 193 various settings, including fixed values and dynamic changes of the MPA parameters, are experimentally compared when solving 13 engineering problems. Standard statistical approaches are employed to highlight significant differences in various MPA settings. The setting of two MPA parameters (P, FADs) significantly influences MPA performance. Three newly proposed MPA settings outperform the original variant significantly. The best results provide the MPA variant with the dynamic linear change of P from 0.5 to 0. These parameters influence the velocity of prey and predator individuals in all three stages of the MPA search process. Decreasing the value of P showed that decreasing the velocity of individuals during the search provides good performance. Further, lower efficiency of the MPA with higher FAD values was detected. It means that more occasional use of fish aggregating devices (FADs) can increase the solvability of engineering problems. In software-defined networking (SDN), the traffic forwarding delay highly depends on the latency associated with updating the forwarding rules in flow tables. With the increase in fine-grained flow control requirements, due to the flexible control capabilities of SDN, more rules are being inserted and removed from flow tables. Moreover, the matching fields of these rules might overlap since multiple control domains might generate different rules for similar flows. This overlap implies dependency relationships among the rules, imposing various restrictions on forwarding entries during updates, e.g., by following update orders or storing entries at specified locations, especially in flow tables implemented using ternary content addressable memory (TCAM); otherwise, mismatching or packet dropping will occur. It usually takes a while to resolve and maintain dependencies during updates, which hinders high forwarding efficiency. To reduce the delay associated with updating dependent rules, in this paper, we propose an updating algorithm for TCAM-based flow tables. We formulate the TCAM maintenance process as an NP-hard problem and analyze the inefficiency of existing moving approaches. To solve the problem, we propose an optimal moving chain for single rule updates and provide theoretical proof for its minimum moving steps. For multiple rules arriving at a switch simultaneously, we designed a dynamic approach to update concurrent entries; it is able to update multiple rules heuristically within a restricted TCAM region. As the update efficiency concerns dependencies among rules, we evaluate our flow table by updating algorithms with different dependency complexities. The results show that our approach achieves about 6% fewer moving steps than existing approaches. This paper proposes a blockchain-based identity authentication (BA) scheme for IoT devices to solve the authentication security problem of IoT devices. The BA scheme uses hashing and digital signature algorithms to achieve integrity and nonrepudiation of authentication messages. Blockchain technology is used to achieve decentralised and distributed storage and management of authentication data. Besides, the BA scheme uses the idea of trust domains and trust credentials to establish a master-slave connection between IoT devices. The BA scheme is then compared with the existing four schemes and analysed from six perspectives to show that the BA scheme has better security. Also, the results show that the BA scheme has reasonable computational and storage overhead. Finally, the advantages of the BA scheme over traditional centralised and existing blockchain-based authentication schemes are compared and analysed. In order to improve tracking accuracy of time-varying sparse signals, a sparse state Kalman filter algorithm based on Kalman gain matrix is proposed in this paper. Under the constraint of sparse state, minimizing the mean square error and solving the optimization problem by using the symmetrical alternating direction multiplier method (symmetrical ADMM), while keeping the update expression of state estimation unchanged, a Kalman gain matrix is obtained which can make the state estimation sparse. In addition, this paper also discusses two different sparse constraints which are L1 norm constraint and cardinality function constraint. The proposed algorithm can be implemented under the framework of conventional Kalman filter algorithm, no need to introduce additional frameworks. Two groups of dynamic signal models, a slow change of signal and a random walk of nonzero elements, are simulated. Algorithms have evolved from machine code to low-code-no-code (LCNC) in the past 20 years. Observing the growth of LCNC-based algorithm development, the CEO of GitHub mentioned that the future of coding is no coding at all. This paper systematically reviewed several of the recent studies using mainstream LCNC platforms to understand the area of research, the LCNC platforms used within these studies, and the features of LCNC used for solving individual research questions. We identified 23 research works using LCNC platforms, such as SetXRM, the vf-OS platform, Aure-BPM, CRISP-DM, and Microsoft Power Platform (MPP). About 61% of these existing studies resorted to MPP as their primary choice. The critical research problems solved by these research works were within the area of global news analysis, social media analysis, landslides, tornadoes, COVID-19, digitization of process, manufacturing, logistics, and software/app development. The main reasons identified for solving research problems with LCNC algorithms were as follows: (1) obtaining research data from multiple sources in complete automation; (2) generating artificial intelligence-driven insights without having to manually code them. This paper deals with fuzzy multi-depot bus scheduling (FMDBS) problem in which the objective function and constraints are defined with fuzzy attributes. Credibility relation is used to formulate the problem as an integer multicommodity flow problem. A novel combination of branch-and-price and heuristic algorithms, is proposed to efficiently solve FMDBS problem. In the proposed algorithm, the heuristic algorithm is applied to generate initial columns for the column generation method. Also, a heuristic algorithm is used to improve the generated solutions in each node of the branch-and-price tree. Two sets of benchmark examples are applied to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed algorithm for large-scale instances. Also, the algorithm is applied to solve the classical multi-depot bus scheduling problem. The results show that the proposed algorithm decreases integrality gap and computational time in comparison with the state-of-the-art algorithms and normal branch-and-price algorithm. The feature graph (Q-H graph) is the best way to intuitively and quantitatively reflect all features of the ventilation network. In this paper, an optimized adaptive genetic algorithm is proposed to solve the problem that rectangular blocks are cut in the process of drawing a Q-H diagram of a three-dimensional ventilation network. The algorithm adopts binary coding based on node sorting and mixed genetic coding based on integer coding. The formulas for calculating the adaptive crossover rate and mutation rate are designed, which can effectively generate new individuals and get rid of the search for local optimal values, ensuring the global optimal solution. In this paper the step by step descent algorithm is extended to continuous optimization problems and applied to the optimal sizing of truss structures. The step by step descent method, recently developed, was applied to the discrete optimization of rigid structures. To solve continuous problems, a multi-stage optimization algorithm is proposed, which involves implementing the step by step descent method in multiple stages. In each stage, the continuous areas of the variables are progressively divided into a finite number of points. The algorithm is based on the search for the steepest gradient descent direction that minimizes the cost function and employs a wise heuristic approach to bypassing local optima. To evaluate the algorithm's performance, a study was carried out on ten mathematical and four truss optimization problems. For unconstrained mathematical problems, the algorithm demonstrates quick converges to optimum solution from any starting point. For truss structures, the starting design point is selected based on structural knowledge to enhance convergence speed. Products with complex free-form surfaces, such as aerospace impellers and automotive engines, are typically manufactured with ball-end milling. The machined surface topography is critical to these key components' performance in harsh environments. Accurate prediction of the machined surface topography is essential to obtaining the optimized process parameters to achieve the best possible surface quality. An improved Z-MAP method based on the sequential quadratic programming (SQP) algorithm is proposed for efficient ball-end milling surface topography simulation in this paper. Compared to the traditional Z-MAP method, this improved method does not discretize the cutter edge and does not require a strict time-step limit. At each simulation time interval, the workpiece surface grid points falling into the cutting-edge instantaneous sweep polygon are searched to reduce the computation scale. An optimization problem, which combines these grid points' coordinates with the cutting-edge trajectory model, is established for the accurate cutting time and cutting-edge element. The SQP algorithm is used to solve this optimization problem due to its global search capability. The surface topography is then updated by comparing the height of the cutting-edge element with the corresponding grid point. Experimental results indicate that the simulated surface topography is consistent with the measured surface topography. The proposed method achieves the same level of accuracy as the traditional method while requiring less computing time. In this paper, we present a new highly efficient numerical algorithm for nonlinear variable-order space fractional reaction–diffusion equations. The algorithm is based on a new method developed by using the Gaussian quadrature pole rational approximation. A splitting technique is used to address the issues related to computational efficiency and the stability of the method. Two linear systems need to be solved using the same real-valued discretization matrix. The stability and convergence of the method are discussed analytically and demonstrated through numerical experiments by solving test problems from the literature. The variable-order diffusion effects on the solution profiles are illustrated through graphs. Optimization algorithms are popular to solve different problems in many fields, and are inspired by natural principles, animal living habits, plant pollinations, chemistry principles, and physic principles. Optimization algorithm performances will directly impact on solving accuracy. The Crow Search Algorithm (CSA) is a simple and efficient algorithm inspired by the natural behaviors of crows. However, the flight length of CSA is a fixed value, which makes the algorithm fall into the local optimum, severely limiting the algorithm solving ability. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a Variable Step Crow Search Algorithm (VSCSA). The proposed algorithm uses the cosine function to enhance CSA searching abilities, which greatly improves both the solution quality of the population and the convergence speed. In the update phase, the VSCSA increases population diversities and enhances the global searching ability of the basic CSA. The experiment used 14 test functions,2017 CEC functions, and engineering application problems to compare VSCSA with different algorithms. The experiment results showed that VSCSA performs better in fitness values, iteration curves, box plots, searching paths, and the Wilcoxon test results, which indicates that VSCSA has strong competitiveness and sufficient superiority. Community structure is crucial for understanding network characteristics, and the local expansion method has performed well in detecting community structures. However, there are two problems with this method. Firstly, it can only add nodes or edges on the basis of existing clusters, and secondly, it can produce a large number of small communities. In this paper, we extend the local expansion method based on ordinary graph to hypergraph, and propose an effective hypernetwork community detection algorithm based on local expansion (LE) and global fusion (GF), which is referred to as HLEGF. The LE process obtains multiple small sub-hypergraphs by deleting and adding hyperedges, while the GF process optimizes the sub-hypergraphs generated by the local expansion process. To solve the first problem, the HLEGF algorithm introduces the concepts of community neighborhood and community boundary to delete some nodes and hyperedges in hypergraphs. To solve the second problem, the HLEGF algorithm establishes correlations between adjacent sub-hypergraphs through global fusion. We evaluated the performance of the HLEGF algorithm in the real hypernetwork and six synthetic random hypernetworks with different probabilities. Because the HLEGF algorithm introduces the concepts of community boundary and neighborhood, and the concept of a series of similarities, the algorithm has superiority. In the real hypernetwork, the HLEGF algorithm is consistent with the classical Spectral algorithm, while in the random hypernetwork, when the probability is not less than 0.95, the NMI value of the HLEGF algorithm is always greater than 0.92, and the RI value is always greater than 0.97. When the probability is 0.95, the HLEGF algorithm achieves a 2.3% improvement in the NMI value, compared to the Spectral algorithm. The accurate identification of highly similar sheet metal parts remains a challenging issue in sheet metal production. To solve this problem, this paper proposes an effective mean square differences (EMSD) algorithm that can effectively distinguish highly similar parts with high accuracy. First, multi-level downsampling and rotation searching are adopted to construct an image pyramid. Then, non-maximum suppression is utilised to determine the optimal rotation for each layer. In the matching, by re-evaluating the contribution of the difference between the corresponding pixels, the matching weight is determined according to the correlation between the grey value information of the matching pixels, and then the effective matching coefficient is determined. Finally, the proposed effective matching coefficient is adopted to obtain the final matching result. The results illustrate that this algorithm exhibits a strong discriminative ability for highly similar parts, with an accuracy of 97.1%, which is 11.5% higher than that of the traditional methods. The application of mulching film has significantly contributed to improving agricultural output and benefits, but residual film has caused severe impacts on agricultural production and the environment. In order to realize the accurate recycling of agricultural residual film, the detection of residual film is the first problem to be solved. The difference in color and texture between residual film and bare soil is not obvious, and residual film is of various sizes and morphologies. To solve these problems, the paper proposes a method for detecting residual film in agricultural fields that uses the attention mechanism. First, a two-stage pre-training approach with strengthened memory is proposed to enable the model to better understand the residual film features with limited data. Second, a multi-scale feature fusion module with adaptive weights is proposed to enhance the recognition of small targets of residual film by using attention. Finally, an inter-feature cross-attention mechanism that can realize full interaction between shallow and deep feature information to reduce the useless noise extracted from residual film images is designed. The experimental results on a self-made residual film dataset show that the improved model improves precision, recall, and mAP by 5.39%, 2.02%, and 3.95%, respectively, compared with the original model, and it also outperforms other recent detection models. The method provides strong technical support for accurately identifying farmland residual film and has the potential to be applied to mechanical equipment for the recycling of residual film. Observation task planning is a key issue and the first step in the development of automated Satellite Laser Ranging (SLR) systems. Aiming at the problem of dynamic change of cloud cover during SLR operation, this paper proposes an autonomous mission planning algorithm for SLR based on the Rolling Horizon Optimization (RHO) framework. A hybrid event- and cycle-driven replanning mechanism is adopted, and four functional modules, rolling, planning, information acquisition and decision-making, are established to decompose the SLR observation task planning process into a series of static planning intervals. An improved ant colony algorithm is proposed and utilized to realize the autonomous planning of SLR system observation tasks, and the above autonomous planning algorithm is verified and analyzed based on the SLR system at station 7237. The results show that the above algorithm can effectively increase the number of observation satellites and revenue under cloud disturbance, solve the problems of low efficiency and poor interference resistance of conventional static algorithms, and provide a new research idea for the establishment of an unattended SLR system. In this paper, a new multi-parameter iterative algorithm is proposed to address the PageRank problem based on the multi-splitting iteration method. The proposed method solves two linear subsystems at each iteration by splitting the coefficient matrix, considering therefore inner and outer iteration to find the approximate solutions of these linear subsystems. It can be shown that the iterative sequence generated by the multi-parameter iterative algorithm finally converges to the PageRank vector when the parameters satisfy certain conditions. As an infrastructure of biochemical laboratories, EP tube label plays a significant role in information extraction to meet the limitations of computing power in offline devices and solve the problem that the EP tube label cannot be accurately identified before identification because the label belongs to multi-angle random placement. This paper proposes a light-weight neural network YOLOv4-tiny-ECA to position tubes and a tilt correction method based on Hough transform. First, the EP tube rack is roughly positioned based on the diffuse filling algorithm combined with digital morphological corrosion, and then the EP tubes in the rack are precisely positioned using the light-weight YOLO target detection algorithm combined with the attention mechanism. Next, the baseline is added to the label as the basis for determining the tilt angle. For the valid target, the baseline is extracted using the Hough transform and the tilt angle is calculated by vector fork multiplication. Finally, baseline is removed using image processing algorithm for better recognition results. Our results show that the light-weight YOLO algorithm reduces the network parameters by 56% and computation by 55% while keeping the accuracy rate largely unchanged, the offline positioning tilt correction method can achieve 98.8% accuracy and 0.076 s processing speed for a single test tube on average, which meets the real-time requirement. The application of 3D digital models to high-throughput plant phenotypic analysis is a research hotspot nowadays. Traditional methods, such as manual measurement and laser scanning, have high costs, and multi-view, unsupervised reconstruction methods are still blank in the field of crop research. It is challenging to obtain a high-quality 3D crop surface feature composition for 3D reconstruction. In this paper, we propose a wheat point cloud generation and 3D reconstruction method based on SfM and MVS using sequential wheat crop images. Firstly, the camera intrinsics and camera extrinsics of wheat were estimated using a structure-from-motion system with feature maps, which effectively solved the problem of camera point location design. Secondly, we proposed the ReC-MVSNet, which integrates the heavy parametric structure into the point cloud 3D reconstruction network, overcoming the difficulty of capturing complex features via the traditional MVS model. Through experiments, it was shown that this research method achieves non-invasive reconstruction of the 3D phenotypic structure of realistic objects, the accuracy of the proposed model was improved by nearly 43.3%, and the overall value was improved by nearly 14.3%, which provided a new idea for the development of virtual 3D digitization. The ideal gas molecular movement (IGMM) as a metaheuristic optimization method is a prominent option for solving optimization problems. However, in some complex cases, IGMM may possess premature convergence or get trapped in local optima. Therefore, to tackle these issues, this paper indicates a new modified IGMM algorithm named opposition‐based IGMM, which has been incorporated with opposition based learning (OBL), Cauchy mutation (CM), velocity clamping (VC), and mirror operator (MO) to enhance its performance. OBL, VC, and MO improve the convergence of IGMM, whereas CM assists IGMM to escape local optima. The effect of each strategy, OBL, CM, VC, and MO, on IGMM, is confirmed through 30 low and high‐dimensional benchmarks, including 23 well‐known mathematical problems and CEC2017 as complex test functions and three engineering problems. Analysis results represent that integration IGMM with OBL, CM, VC, and MO has the best performance among other IGMM variants and eventually improved IGMM in exploration, exploitation, accelerating convergence, and local optima avoidance. Set similarity query is a primitive for many applications, such as data integration, data cleaning, and gene sequence alignment. Most of the existing algorithms are inverted index based, they usually filter unqualified sets one by one and do not have sufficient support for duplicated sets, thus leading to low efficiency. To solve this problem, this paper designs T-starTrie, an efficient trie based index for set similarity query, which can naturally group sets with the same prefix into one node, and can filter all sets corresponding to the node at a time, thereby significantly improving the candidates generation efficiency. In this paper, we find that the set similarity query problem can be transformed into matching nodes of the first-layer (FMNodes) detecting problem on T-starTrie. Therefore, an efficient FLMNode detection algorithm is designed. Based on this, an efficient set similarity query algorithm, TT-SSQ, is implemented by developing a variety of filtering techniques.
