This project dealt with the freeway traffic system in Houston, Texas. Given the flow, meaning vehicles per hour, a model was made to determine where traffic jams occur. Then the model was compared to the real world to see how precisely the traffic jams were located based on the model. Then potential solutions to the traffic jams were discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
