Over recent decades, the common understanding of hearing impairment has improved. People are more concerned with hearing impairment and have come to a consensus that care and positivity must be addressed. Therefore, recent trends in children with hearing disabilities inclusion have started in regular schools. The holistic training program provides opportunities for everyday people to learn about their abilities and special skills. The teacher needs to take care of the locomotive and object control skills of the child through the development of necessarymotor skills to meet life requirements, such as walking, running, throwing, etc. The current study explores the ability of primary school children with hearing loss to incorporate an exergame to improve fundamental motor skills within an inclusive physical education classroom in Saudi Arabia. The study used a Qualitative Method and carried out a content analysis together with a Systematic Literature Review to understand the research carried out in this field. A detailed analysis was carried out of secondary data from articles indexed in Scopus and the websites of the scientific databases and other related documents in the field of study. The Paralympic Games is the largest sporting competition for athletes with an impairment. This competition has, however, had limited news coverage in the past particularly compared to the Olympic Games. This study analyzes newspaper coverage of the 2016 Paralympic Games by two newspapers in 11 countries (China, Iran, Japan, Malaysia, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom). The coverage period spanned 7-19 September 2016. Text and pictures were coded according to page number, content, gender, sport, and nationality of person. Media content analysis was used to extract coverage of themes. Results are presented using descriptive statistics and frequency counts. Of the 623 articles and 541 photographs analysed, a small percentage (7.3%) were on the front pages of newspapers. Most articles and photographs (78.7%) were about athletes or teams. There was more coverage of male athletes (53.2%) and local athletes (71.6%). The Paralympic Games has historically received less newspaper coverage than the Olympic Games. This study examined newspaper coverage of the 2016 Paralympic Games from 11 countries. For the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games, newspaper coverage in most countries was good, lasting nearly the whole duration, and this also included a number of front page reports. The type of coverage and number of reports differ between countries. Generally, the highest medal winning countries gave more media attention to the Games. The societal perception of the hearing impairment has changed in the past few decades. People show more concern on hearing impairment and have reached a consensus that the case needs to be dealt with care and positivity. Thus, the recent trends towards the integration of children with hearing disabilities in ordinary schools have begun. The integrated physical education program offers opportunities for normal people to learn about the talents and their special skills. The teacher must take care of the child’s locomotor and object control skills by paying attention to the development of basic motor skills through which the child can fulfill the necessary needs in life such as walking, running, throwing, etc. In this article, a systematic literature review (SLR) is presented to discuss the possibility of embedding an exergame to improve fundamental motor skills among elementary school children with hearing impairment in an inclusive physical education classroom in Saudi Arabia. The study uses a qualitative method and conducted a content analysis along with the systematic literature review to understand the research done in this field and to set the agenda of future research in this area.
