One of the pandemics that have caused many deaths is the Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). It first appeared in late 2019, and many deaths are increasing day by day until now. Therefore, the early diagnosis of COVID-19 has become a salient issue. Additionally, the current diagnosis methods have several demerits, and a new investigation is required to enhance the diagnosis performance. In this paper, a set of phases are performed, such as collecting data, filtering and augmenting images, extracting features, and classifying ECG images. The data were obtained from two publicly available ECG image datasets, and one of them contained COVID ECG reports. A set of preprocessing methods are applied to the ECG images, and data augmentation is performed to balance the ECG images based on the classes. A deep learning approach based on a convolutional neural network (CNN) is performed for feature extraction. Four different pre-trained models are applied, such as Vgg16, Vgg19, ResNet-101, and Xception. Moreover, an ensemble of Xception and the temporary convolutional network (TCN), which is named ECGConvnet, is proposed. Finally, the results obtained from the former models are fed to four main classifiers. These classifiers are softmax, random forest (RF), multilayer perception (MLP), and support vector machine (SVM). The former classifiers are used to evaluate the diagnosis ability of the proposed methods. The classification scenario is based on fivefold cross-validation. Seven experiments are presented to evaluate the performance of the ECGConvnet. Three of them are multi-class, and the remaining are binary class diagnosing. Six out of seven experiments diagnose COVID-19 patients. The aforementioned experimental results indicated that ECGConvnet has the highest performance over other pre-trained models, and the SVM classifier showed higher accuracy in comparison with the other classifiers. The resulting accuracies from ECGConvnet based on SVM are (99.74%, 98.6%, 99.1% on the multi-class diagnosis tasks) and (99.8% on one of the binary-class diagnoses, while the remaining achieved 100%). Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), which is caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-COV-2), surprised the world in December 2019 and has threatened the lives of millions of people. Countries all over the world closed worship places and shops, prevented gatherings, and implemented curfews to stand against the spread of COVID-19. Deep Learning (DL) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) can have a great role in detecting and fighting this disease. Deep learning can be used to detect COVID-19 symptoms and signs from different imaging modalities, such as X-Ray, Computed Tomography (CT), and Ultrasound Images (US). This could help in identifying COVID-19 cases as a first step to curing them. In this paper, we reviewed the research studies conducted from January 2020 to September 2022 about deep learning models that were used in COVID-19 detection. This paper clarified the three most common imaging modalities (X-Ray, CT, and US) in addition to the DL approaches that are used in this detection and compared these approaches. An unprecedented pandemic, named COVID-19, impacts the entire world and has been experienced in 2020. Due to the lack of treatment, all the researchers in each and every field concentrated to deal with it. Primarily in computer science, the contribution involves the development of approaches for detection, diagnosis and prediction of COVID-19 scenarios. In this field, Deep Learning (DL) and Data Science are the most extensively exploited approaches. This review outlines 50 research papers and also presents different approaches to identifying COVID-19. Here, these papers are classified and analysed into various categories and this survey presents details, like software tools employed, utilised datasets, published years and performance metrics, exploited in those papers. Moreover, the collected information is reviewed and graphical information regarding the result and analysis is presented. The research gaps and problems raised in conventional COVID-19 approaches are explained. For this review, the future work is on the basis of the research gaps and issues identified from the research strategies. This paper aims to develop Machine Learning algorithms to classify electronic articles related to this phenomenon by retrieving information and topic modelling. The Methodology of this study is categorized into three phases: the Text Classification Approach (TCA), the Proposed Algorithms Interpretation (PAI), and finally, Information Retrieval Approach (IRA). The TCA reflects the text preprocessing pipeline called a clean corpus. The Global Vectors for Word Representation (Glove) pre-trained model, FastText, Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF), and Bag-of-Words (BOW) for extracting the features have been interpreted in this research. The PAI manifests the Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (Bi-LSTM) and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to classify the COVID-19 news. Again, the IRA explains the mathematical interpretation of Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA), obtained for modelling the topic of Information Retrieval (IR). In this study, 99% accuracy was obtained by performing K-fold cross-validation on Bi-LSTM with Glove. A comparative analysis between Deep Learning and Machine Learning based on feature extraction and computational complexity exploration has been performed in this research. Furthermore, some text analyses and the most influential aspects of each document have been explored in this study. Given the pronounced impact COVID-19 continues to have on society—infecting 700 million reported individuals and causing 6.96 million deaths—many deep learning works have recently focused on the virus's diagnosis. However, assessing severity has remained an open and challenging problem due to a lack of large datasets, the large dimensionality of images for which to find weights, and the compute limitations of modern graphics processing units (GPUs). In this paper, a new, iterative application of transfer learning is demonstrated on the understudied field of 3D CT scans for COVID-19 severity analysis. This methodology allows for enhanced performance on the MosMed Dataset, which is a small and challenging dataset containing 1130 images of patients for five levels of COVID-19 severity (Zero, Mild, Moderate, Severe, and Critical). Specifically, given the large dimensionality of the input images, we create several custom shallow convolutional neural network (CNN) architectures and iteratively refine and optimize them, paying attention to learning rates, layer types, normalization types, filter sizes, dropout values, and more. After a preliminary architecture design, the models are systematically trained on a simplified version of the dataset-building models for two-class, then three-class, then four-class, and finally five-class classification. The simplified problem structure allows the model to start learning preliminary features, which can then be further modified for more difficult classification tasks. Our final model CoSev boosts classification accuracies from below 60% at first to 81.57% with the optimizations, reaching similar performance to the state-of-the-art on the dataset, with much simpler setup procedures. In addition to COVID-19 severity diagnosis, the explored methodology can be applied to general image-based disease detection. Overall, this work highlights innovative methodologies that advance current computer vision practices for high-dimension, low-sample data as well as the practicality of data-driven machine learning and the importance of feature design for training, which can then be implemented for improvements in clinical practices. The coronavirus first appeared in China in 2019, and the World Health Organization (WHO) named it COVID-19. Then WHO announced this illness as a worldwide pandemic in March 2020. The number of cases, infections, and fatalities varied considerably worldwide. Because the main characteristic of COVID-19 is its rapid spread, doctors and specialists generally use PCR tests to detect the COVID-19 virus. As an alternative to PCR, X-ray images can help diagnose illness using artificial intelligence (AI). In medicine, AI is commonly employed. Convolutional neural networks (CNN) and deep learning models make it simple to extract information from images. Several options exist when creating a deep CNN. The possibilities include network depth, layer count, layer type, and parameters. In this paper, a novel Xception-based neural network is discovered using the genetic algorithm (GA). GA finds better alternative networks and parameters during iterations. The best network discovered with GA is tested on a COVID-19 X-ray image dataset. The results are compared with other networks and the results of papers in the literature. The novel network of this paper gives more successful results. Deep learning is a highly significant technology in clinical treatment and diagnostics nowadays. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is a new idea in deep learning that is being used in the area of computer vision. The COVID-19 detection is the subject of our medical study. Researchers attempted to increase the detection accuracy but at the cost of high model complexity. In this paper, we desire to achieve better accuracy with little training space and time so that this model easily deployed in edge devices. In this paper, a new CNN design is proposed that has three stages: pre-processing, which removes the black padding on the side initially; convolution, which employs filter banks; and feature extraction, which makes use of deep convolutional layers with skip connections. In order to train the model, chest X-ray images are partitioned into three sets: learning(0.7), validation(0.1), and testing(0.2). The models are then evaluated using the test and training data. The LMNet, CoroNet, CVDNet, and Deep GRU-CNN models are the other four models used in the same experiment. The propose model achieved 99.47% & 98.91% accuracy on training and testing respectively. Additionally, it achieved 97.54%, 98.19%, 99.49%, and 97.86% scores for precision, recall, specificity, and f1-score respectively. The proposed model obtained nearly equivalent accuracy and other similar metrics when compared with other models but greatly reduced the model complexity. COVID-19, also known as the Coronavirus disease-2019, is an transferrable disease that spreads rapidly, affecting countless individuals and leading to fatalities in this worldwide pandemic. The precise and swift detection of COVID-19 plays a crucial role in managing the pandemic's dissemination. Additionally, it is necessary to recognize COVID-19 quickly and accurately by investigating chest x-ray images. This paper proposed a Differential Evolution Chaotic Whale Optimization Algorithm (DECWOA) based Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method for identifying and classifying COVID-19 chest X-ray images. The DECWOA based CNN model improves the accuracy and convergence speed of the algorithm. This method is evaluated by Chest X-Ray (CXR) dataset and attains better results in terms of accuracy, precision, sensitivity, specificity, and F1-score values of about 99.89%, 99.83%, 99.81%, 98.92%, and 99.26% correspondingly. The result shows that the proposed DECWOA based CNN model provides accurate and quick identification and classification of COVID-19 compared to existing techniques like ResNet50, VGG-19, and Multi-Model Fusion of Deep Transfer Learning (MMF-DTL) models. Social networks are popular for advertising, idea sharing, and opinion formation. Due to COVID-19, coronavirus information disseminated on social media affects people's lives directly. Individuals sometimes managed it well, but it often hampered daily activities. As a result, analyzing people's feelings is important. Sentiment analysis identifies opinions or sentiments from text. In this paper, we present an effective model that leverages the benefits of Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (BiLSTM) to categorize Arabic tweets using a stacked ensemble learning model. First, the tweets are represented as vectors using a word embedding model, then the text feature is extracted by CNN, and finally the context information of the text is acquired by BiLSTM. Aravec, FastText, and ArWordVec are employed separately to assess the impact of the word embedding on the our model. We also compare the proposed method to various deep learning models: CNN, LSTM, and BiLSTM. Experiments are performed on three different Arabic datasets related to COVID-19 and vaccines. Empirical findings show that the proposed model outperformed the other models' results by achieving F-measures of 76.76%, 87.%, and 80.5% on the SenWave, AraCOVID19-SSD, and ArCovidVac datasets, respectively. Healthcare data analysis has become essential after epidemic outbreaks. The manual examination of medical images such as X-rays and computed tomography (CT) scans became one of these challenges. This paper introduces a healthcare architecture that tackles the analysis efficiency and accuracy challenges by harnessing artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. This architecture utilizes fog computing and presents a modified convolutional neural network (CNN) designed specifically for image analysis. Different architectures of CNN layers are thoroughly explored and evaluated to optimize overall performance. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach, a dataset of X-ray images is utilized for analysis and evaluation. Comparative assessments are conducted against recent models such as VGG16, VGG19, MobileNet, and related research papers. Notably, the proposed approach achieves an exceptional accuracy rate of 99.88% in classifying normal cases, accompanied by a validation rate of 96.5%, precision and recall rates of 100%, and an F1 score of 100%. These results highlight the immense potential of fog computing and modified CNNs in revolutionizing healthcare image analysis and diagnosis, not only during pandemics but also in the future. COVID-19 analysis from medical imaging is an important task that has been intensively studied in the last years due to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. In fact, medical imaging has often been used as a complementary or main tool to recognize the infected persons. On the other hand, medical imaging has the ability to provide more details about COVID-19 infection, including its severity and spread, which makes it possible to evaluate the infection and follow-up the patient's state. CT scans are the most informative tool for COVID-19 infection, where the evaluation of COVID-19 infection is usually performed through infection segmentation. However, segmentation is a tedious task that requires much effort and time from expert radiologists. To deal with this limitation, an efficient framework for estimating COVID-19 infection as a regression task is proposed. The goal of the Per-COVID-19 challenge is to test the efficiency of modern deep learning methods on COVID-19 infection percentage estimation (CIPE) from CT scans. Participants had to develop an efficient deep learning approach that can learn from noisy data. In addition, participants had to cope with many challenges, including those related to COVID-19 infection complexity and crossdataset scenarios. Recently, the coronavirus disease 2019 has shown excellent attention in the global community regarding health and the economy. World Health Organization (WHO) and many others advised controlling Corona Virus Disease in 2019. The limited treatment resources, medical resources, and unawareness of immunity is an essential horizon to unfold. Among all resources, wearing amask is the primary non-pharmaceutical intervention to stop the spreading of the virus caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) droplets. All countries made masksmandatory to prevent infection. For such enforcement, automatic and effective face detection systems are crucial. This study presents a face mask identification approach for static photos and real-time movies that distinguishes between images with and without masks. To contribute to society, we worked on mask detection of an individual to adhere to the rule and provide awareness to the public or organization. The paper aims to get detection accuracy using transfer learning fromResidualNeuralNetwork 50 (ResNet-50) architecture andworks on detection localization. The experiment is tested with other popular pre-trained models such asDeep Convolutional Neural Networks (AlexNet), Residual Neural Networks (ResNet), and Visual Geometry Group Networks (VGGNet) advanced architecture. The proposed system generates an accuracy of 98.4% when modeled using Residual Neural Network 50 (ResNet-50). Nowadays, global public health crises are occurring more frequently, and accurate prediction of these diseases can reduce the burden on the healthcare system. Taking COVID-19 as an example, accurate prediction of infection can assist experts in effectively allocating medical resources and diagnosing diseases. Currently, scholars worldwide use single model approaches or epidemiology models more often to predict the outbreak trend of COVID-19, resulting in poor prediction accuracy. Although a few studies have employed ensemble models, there is still room for improvement in their performance. In addition, there are only a few models that use the laboratory results of patients to predict COVID-19 infection. To address these issues, research efforts should focus on improving disease prediction performance and expanding the use of medical disease prediction models. In this paper, we propose an innovative deep learning model Whale Optimization Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), Long-Short Term Memory (LSTM) and Artificial Neural Network (ANN) called WOCLSA which incorporates three models ANN, CNN and LSTM. The WOCLSA model utilizes the Whale Optimization Algorithm to optimize the neuron number, dropout and batch size parameters in the integrated model of ANN, CNN and LSTM, thereby finding the global optimal solution parameters. WOCLSA employs 18 patient indicators as predictors, and compares its results with three other ensemble deep learning models. All models were validated with train-test split approaches. We evaluate and compare our proposed model and other models using accuracy, F1 score, recall, AUC and precision metrics. Through many studies and tests, our results show that our prediction models can identify patients with COVID-19 infection at the AUC of 91%, 91%, and 93% respectively. Other prediction results achieve a respectable accuracy of 92.82%, 92.79%, and 91.66% respectively, f1-score of 93.41%, 92.79%, and 92.33% respectively, precision of 93.41%, 92.79%, and 92.33% respectively, recall of 93.41%, 92.79%, and 92.33% respectively. All of these exceed 91%, surpassing those of comparable models. The execution time of WOCLSA is also an advantage. Patients with deaths from COVID-19 often have co-morbid cardiovascular disease. Real-time cardiovascular disease monitoring based on wearable medical devices may effectively reduce COVID-19 mortality rates. However, due to technical limitations, there are three main issues. First, the traditional wireless communication technology for wearable medical devices is difficult to satisfy the real-time requirements fully. Second, current monitoring platforms lack efficient streaming data processing mechanisms to cope with the large amount of cardiovascular data generated in real time. Third, the diagnosis of the monitoring platform is usually manual, which is challenging to ensure that enough doctors online to provide a timely, efficient, and accurate diagnosis. To address these issues, this paper proposes a 5G-enabled real-time cardiovascular monitoring system for COVID-19 patients using deep learning. Firstly, we employ 5G to send and receive data from wearable medical devices. Secondly, Flink streaming data processing framework is applied to access electrocardiogram data. Finally, we use convolutional neural networks and long short-term memory networks model to obtain automatically predict the COVID-19 patient's cardiovascular health. Social media has evolved into a platform for the dissemination of information, including fake news. There is a lot of false information about the current situation of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, such as false information regarding vaccination. In this paper, we focus on sentiment analysis for Malaysian COVID-19-related news on social media such as Twitter. Tweets in Malaysia are often a combination of Malay, English, and Chinese with plenty of short forms, symbols, emojis, and emoticons within the maximum length of a tweet. The contributions of this paper are twofold. Firstly, we built a multilingual COVID-19 Twitter dataset, comprising tweets written from 1 September 2021 to 12 December 2021. In particular, we collected 108,246 tweets, with over  67 %  in Malay language,  27 %  in English,  2 %  in Chinese, and  4 %  in other languages. We then manually annotated and assigned the sentiment of 11,568 tweets into three-class sentiments (positive, negative, and neutral) to develop a Malay-language sentiment analysis tool. For this purpose, we applied a data compression method using Byte-Pair Encoding (BPE) on the texts and used two deep learning approaches, i.e., the Multilingual Bidirectional Encoder Representation for Transformer (M-BERT) and convolutional neural network (CNN). BPE tokenization is used to encode rare and unknown words into smaller meaningful subwords. With the CNN, we converted the labeled tweets into image files. Our experiments explored different BPE vocabulary sizes with our BPE-Text-to-Image-CNN and BPE-M-BERT models. The results show that the optimal vocabulary size for BPE is 12,000; any values beyond that would not contribute much to the F1-score. Overall, our results show that BPE-M-BERT slightly outperforms the CNN model, thereby showing that the pre-trained M-BERT network has the advantage for our multilingual dataset. SARS-CoV-2 is a novel virus that has been affecting the global population by spreading rapidly and causing severe complications, which require prompt and elaborate emergency treatment. Automatic tools to diagnose COVID-19 could potentially be an important and useful aid. Radiologists and clinicians could potentially rely on interpretable AI technologies to address the diagnosis and monitoring of COVID-19 patients. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the state-of-the-art deep learning techniques for COVID-19 classification. The previous studies are methodically evaluated, and a summary of the proposed convolutional neural network (CNN)-based classification approaches is presented. The reviewed papers have presented a variety of CNN models and architectures that were developed to provide an accurate and quick automatic tool to diagnose the COVID-19 virus based on presented CT scan or X-ray images. In this systematic review, we focused on the critical components of the deep learning approach, such as network architecture, model complexity, parameter optimization, explainability, and dataset/code availability. The literature search yielded a large number of studies over the past period of the virus spread, and we summarized their past efforts. State-of-the-art CNN architectures, with their strengths and weaknesses, are discussed with respect to diverse technical and clinical evaluation metrics to safely implement current AI studies in medical practice. Objective: COVID‐19 is ravaging the world, but traditional reverse transcription‐polymerase reaction (RT‐PCR) tests are time‐consuming and have a high false‐negative rate and lack of medical equipment. Therefore, lung imaging screening methods are proposed to diagnose COVID‐19 due to its fast test speed. Currently, the commonly used convolutional neural network (CNN) model requires a large number of datasets, and the accuracy of the basic capsule network for multiple classification is limital. For this reason, this paper proposes a novel model based on CNN and CapsNet. Methods: The proposed model integrates CNN and CapsNet. And attention mechanism module and multi‐branch lightweight module are applied to enhance performance. Use the contrast adaptive histogram equalization (CLAHE) algorithm to preprocess the image to enhance image contrast. The preprocessed images are input into the network for training, and ReLU was used as the activation function to adjust the parameters to achieve the optimal. Result: The test dataset includes 1200 X‐ray images (400 COVID‐19, 400 viral pneumonia, and 400 normal), and we replace CNN of VGG16, InceptionV3, Xception, Inception‐Resnet‐v2, ResNet50, DenseNet121, and MoblieNetV2 and integrate with CapsNet. Compared with CapsNet, this network improves 6.96%, 7.83%, 9.37%, 10.47%, and 10.38% in accuracy, area under the curve (AUC), recall, and F1 scores, respectively. In the binary classification experiment, compared with CapsNet, the accuracy, AUC, accuracy, recall rate, and F1 score were increased by 5.33%, 5.34%, 2.88%, 8.00%, and 5.56%, respectively. Conclusion: The proposed embedded the advantages of traditional convolutional neural network and capsule network and has a good classification effect on small COVID‐19 X‐ray image dataset. Background: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has become a pandemic since its first appearance in late 2019. Deaths caused by COVID-19 are still increasing day by day and early diagnosis has become crucial. Since current diagnostic methods have many disadvantages, new investigations are needed to improve the performance of diagnosis.Methods: A novel method is proposed to automatically diagnose COVID-19 by using Electrocardiogram (ECG) data with deep learning for the first time. Moreover, a new and effective method called hexaxial feature mapping is proposed to represent 12-lead ECG to 2D colorful images. Gray-Level Co-Occurrence Matrix (GLCM) method is used to extract features and generate hexaxial mapping images. These generated images are then fed into a new Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architecture to diagnose COVID-19.Results: Two different classification scenarios are conducted on a publicly available paper-based ECG image dataset to reveal the diagnostic capability and performance of the proposed approach. In the first scenario, ECG data labeled as COVID-19 and No-Findings (normal) are classified to evaluate COVID-19 classification ability. According to results, the proposed approach provides encouraging COVID-19 detection performance with an accuracy of 96.20% and F1-Score of 96.30%. In the second scenario, ECG data labeled as Negative (normal, abnormal, and myocardial infarction) and Positive (COVID-19) are classified to evaluate COVID-19 diagnostic ability. The experimental results demonstrated that the proposed approach provides satisfactory COVID-19 prediction performance with an accuracy of 93.00% and F1-Score of 93.20%. Furthermore, different experimental studies are conducted to evaluate the robustness of the proposed approach.Conclusion: Automatic detection of cardiovascular changes caused by COVID-19 can be possible with a deep learning framework through ECG data. This not only proves the presence of cardiovascular changes caused by COVID-19 but also reveals that ECG can potentially be used in the diagnosis of COVID-19. The rapid development of artificial intelligence gave motivations to researchers to apply it in information security, biometrics, and medical image encryption. This paper presents an encryption approach for CT images that are used in diagnosing COVID-19 disease. To add more privacy, the proposed encryption mechanism links the CT image and the facial image of a person. Firstly, a simple Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is utilized to extract features from facial images. The architecture of the CNN model includes three convolutional groups, and each group consists of a convolutional layer, a batch normalization layer, a Rectified Linear Unit (ReLU), and a maximum pooling layer. Moreover, the extracted feature vector is utilized to adjust the initial states of a two-dimensional Sine Logistic Modulation Map (2D-SLMM), so as to generate chaotic matrices SLM1 and SLM2, and to adjust the initial states of a Tent Logistic Map (TLM) in order to get two other chaotic matrices, TLM1 and TLM2. Finally, the Chaotic Magic Transform (CMT) confusion operation and the bitwise XOR diffusion operation are used to randomly scramble the pixel locations and change the pixel values, respectively. Only after two rounds of CMT and two bitwise XOR operations with chaotic matrices SLM1, SLM2, TLM1 and TLM2, we get an unrecognizable encrypted CT image with a high security level. In adittion, we study and analyze the performance of the proposed approach in the presence of differential, entropy and key sensitivity attacks. In the experiments, when performing decryption, two cases are discussed; utilization of the correct key and utilization of the correct key with small variation. The robustness of the proposed encryption approach is measured using different metrics like Correlation Coefficient (CC), entropy, histogram analysis, and elapsed time. The novel Coronavirus is still raging around the globe causing catastrophic consequences on the entire health and wealth of humankind. Tests are being conducted in an insane amount on the suspected individuals. Infections that are gained through respiratory course, for example, the lethal SARS-CoV-2, are determined to have the assistance of direct identification of viral parts in respiratory examples. The 2019 new coronavirus illness (COVID-19) is an international public health emergency. Our social and healthcare systems are under a great deal of strain as a result of the daily increase in infection rates and fatalities. Doctors typically perform a chest Xray to identify the diseased areas of the lungs since pneumonia is a common type of infection that spreads in the lungs. In this paper, we propose a Convolution Neural Network via the li regularization model to detect COVID-19 patients using chest X-Ray images. Due to the lack of the COVID-19 benchmark dataset, we use deep learning techniques to identify the best pre-trained CNN model for this job by comparing 15 models. The suggested algorithm was tested on 1316 photos (116 COVID-19 cases, 328 healthy controls, and 872 pneumonia cases), with 66% for training, 17% for validation, and 17% for testing. The classification accuracy, loss, valueaccuracy, and value-loss values obtained by the suggested technique are 0.9912, 0.0187, 0.1119, and 0.9506 respectively. Additionally, the model effectively decreases training loss while boosting accuracy. World's science and technologies have been challenged by the COVID‐19 pandemic. Each and every community across the globe are trying to find a real‐time novel method for accurate treatment and cure of COVID‐19 infected patients. The most important lead to take from this pandemic is to detect the infected patients as soon as possible and provide them an accurate treatment. At present, the worldwide methodology to detect COVID‐19 is reverse transcription‐polymerase chain reaction (RT‐PCR). This technique is costly and time taking. For this reason, the implementation of a novel method is required. This paper includes the use of deep learning analysis to develop a system for identifying COVID‐19 patients. Proposed technique is based on convolution neural network (CNN) and deep neural network (DNN). This paper proposes two models, first is designing DNN on the basis of fractal feature of the images and second is designing CNN using lungs x‐ray images. To find the infected area (tissues) of the lungs image using CNN architecture, segmentation process has been used. Developed CNN architecture gave results of classification with accuracy equal to 94.6% and sensitivity equal to 90.5% which is much better than the proposed DNN method, which gave accuracy 84.11% and sensitivity 84.7%. The outcome of the presented model shows 94.6% accuracy in detecting infected regions. Using this method the growth of the infected regions can be monitored and controlled. With growing demands for diagnosing COVID-19 definite cases, employing radiological images, i.e., the chest X-ray, is becoming challenging. Deep Convolutional Neural Networks (DCNN) propose effective automated models to detect COVID_19 positive cases. In order to improve the total accuracy, this paper proposes using the novel Trigonometric Function (TF) instead of the existing gradient descendent-based training method for training fully connected layers to have a COVID-19 detector with parallel implementation ability. The designed model gets then benchmarked on a verified dataset denominated COVID-Xray-5k. The results get investigated by qualified research with classic DCNN, BWC, and MSAD. The results confirm that the produced detector can present competitive results compared to the benchmark detection models. The paper also examines the class activation map theory to detect the areas probably infected by the Covid-19 virus. The spread and severity of COVID-19 are alarming. The economy and life of countries worldwide have been greatly affected. The rapid and accurate diagnosis of COVID-19 directly affects the spread of the virus and the degree of harm. Currently, the classification of chest X-ray or CT images based on artificial intelligence is an important method for COVID-19 diagnosis. It can assist doctors in making judgments and reduce the misdiagnosis rate. The convolutional neural network (CNN) is very popular in computer vision applications, such as applied to biological image segmentation, traffic sign recognition, face recognition, and other fields. It is one of the most widely used machine learning methods. This paper mainly introduces the latest deep learning methods and techniques for diagnosing COVID-19 using chest X-ray or CT images based on the convolutional neural network. It reviews the technology of CNN at various stages, such as rectified linear units, batch normalization, data augmentation, dropout, and so on. Several well-performing network architectures are explained in detail, such as AlexNet, ResNet, DenseNet, VGG, GoogleNet, etc. We analyzed and discussed the existing CNN automatic COVID-19 diagnosis systems from sensitivity, accuracy, precision, specificity, and F1 score. With the emergence of COVID-19 disease in 2019, machine learning (ML) techniques, specifically deep learning networks (DNNs), played a key role in diagnosing the disease in the medical industry due to their superior performance. However, the computational cost of deep learning networks (DNNs) can be quite high, making it necessary to often outsource the training process to third-party providers, such as machine learning as a service (MLaaS). Therefore, careful consideration is required to achieve robustness in DNN-based systems against cyber-security attacks. In this paper, we propose a method called the dropout-bagging (DB-COVIDNet) algorithm, which works as a robust defense mechanism against poisoning backdoor attacks. In this model, the trigger-related features will be removed by the modified dropout algorithm, and then we will use the new voting method in the bagging algorithm to achieve the final results. We considered AC-COVIDNet as the main inducer of the bagging algorithm, which is an attention-guided contrastive convolutional neural network (CNN), and evaluated the performance of the proposed method with the malicious COVIDx dataset. The results demonstrated that DB-COVIDNet has strong robustness and can significantly reduce the effect of the backdoor attack. The proposed DB-COVIDNet nullifies backdoors before the attack has been activated, resulting in a tremendous reduction in the attack success rate from  99.5 %  to  3 %  with high accuracy on the clean data. The COVID-19 pandemic has posed significant challenges in accurately diagnosing the disease, as severe cases may present symptoms similar to pneumonia. Real-Time Reverse Transcriptase Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) is the conventional diagnostic technique; however, it has limitations in terms of time-consuming laboratory procedures and kit availability. Radiological chest images, such as X-rays and Computed Tomography (CT) scans, have been essential in aiding the diagnosis process. In this research paper, we propose a deep learning (DL) approach based on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) to enhance the detection of COVID-19 and its variants from chest X-ray images. Building upon the existing research in SARS and COVID-19 identification using AI and machine learning techniques, our DL model aims to extract the most significant features from the X-ray scans of affected individuals. By employing an explanatory CNN-based technique, we achieved a promising accuracy of up to 97 % in detecting COVID-19 cases, which can assist physicians in effectively screening and identifying probable COVID-19 patients. In recent years, advances in deep learning (DL) techniques for video analysis have developed to solve the problem of real-time processing. Automated face recognition in the runtime environment has become necessary in video surveillance systems for urban security. This is a difficult task due to face occlusion, which makes it hard to capture effective features. Existing work focuses on improving performance while ignoring issues like a small dataset, high computational complexity, and a lack of lightweight and efficient feature descriptors. In this paper, face recognition (FR) using a Convolutional mixer (AFR-Conv) algorithm is developed to handle face occlusion problems. A novel AFR-Conv architecture is designed by assigning priority-based weight to the different face patches along with residual connections and an AdaBoost classifier for automatically recognizing human faces. The AFR-Conv also leverages the strengths of pre-trained CNNs by extracting features using ResNet-50, Inception-v3, and DenseNet-161. The AdaBoost classifier combines these features' weighted votes to predict labels for testing images. To develop this system, we use the data augmentation method to enhance the number of datasets using human face images. The AFR-Conv method is then used to extract robust features from images. Finally, to recognize human identity, an AdaBoost classifier is utilized. For the training and evaluation of the AFR-Conv model, a set of face images is collected from online data sources. The experimental results of the AFR-Conv approach are presented in terms of precision (PR), recall (RE), detection accuracy (DA), and F1-score metrics. Particularly, the proposed approach attains 95.5% PR, 97.6% RE, 97.5% DA, and 98.5% of F1-score on 8500 face images. The COVID-19 is still spreading today, and it has caused great harm to human beings. The system at the entrance of public places such as shopping malls and stations should check whether pedestrians are wearing masks. However, pedestrians often pass the system inspection by wearing cotton masks, scarves, etc. Therefore, the detection system not only needs to check whether pedestrians are wearing masks, but also needs to detect the type of masks. Based on the lightweight network architecture MobilenetV3, this paper proposes a cascaded deep learning network based on transfer learning, and then designs a mask recognition system based on the cascaded deep learning network. By modifying the activation function of the MobilenetV3 output layer and the structure of the model, two MobilenetV3 networks suitable for cascading are obtained. By introducing transfer learning into the training process of two modified MobilenetV3 networks and a multi-task convolutional neural network, the ImagNet underlying parameters of the network models are obtained in advance, which reduces the computational load of the models. The cascaded deep learning network consists of a multi-task convolutional neural network cascaded with these two modified MobilenetV3 networks. A multi-task convolutional neural network is used to detect faces in images, and two modified MobilenetV3 networks are used as the backbone network to extract the features of masks. After comparing with the classification results of the modified MobilenetV3 neural network before cascading, the classification accuracy of the cascading learning network is improved by 7%, and the excellent performance of the cascading network can be seen. X-ray diagnostics are widely used to detect various diseases, such as bone fracture, pneumonia, or intracranial hemorrhage. This method is simple and accessible in most hospitals, but requires an expert who is sometimes unavailable. Today, some diagnoses are made with the help of deep learning algorithms based on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), but these algorithms show limitations. Recently, Capsule Networks (CapsNet) have been proposed to overcome these problems. In our work, CapsNet is used to detect whether a chest X-ray image has disease (COVID or pneumonia) or is healthy. An improved model called DRCaps is proposed, which combines the advantage of CapsNet and the dilation rate (dr) parameter to manage images with 226 × 226 resolution. We performed experiments with 16,669 chest images, in which our model achieved an accuracy of 90%. Furthermore, the model size is 11M with a reconstruction stage, which helps to avoid overfitting. Experiments show how the reconstruction stage works and how we can avoid the max-pooling operation for networks with a stride and dilation rate to downsampling the convolution layers. In this paper, DRCaps is superior to other comparable models in terms of accuracy, parameters, and image size handling. The coronavirus (COVID-19) is a disease declared a global pandemic that threatens the whole world. Since then, research has accelerated and varied to find practical solutions for the early detection and correct identification of this disease. Several researchers have focused on using the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques in disease diagnosis to diagnose and detect the coronavirus. This paper developed deep learning (DL) and machine learning (ML) -based models using laboratory findings to diagnose COVID-19. Six different methods are used in this study: Knearest neighbor (KNN), Decision Tree (DT) and Naive Bayes (NB) as a machine learning method, and Deep Neural Network (DNN), Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), and Long-term memory (LSTM) as DL methods. These approaches are evaluated using a dataset obtained from the Israelita Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This data consists of 5644 laboratory results from different patients, with 10% being Covid-19 positive cases. The dataset includes 18 attributes that characterizeCOVID-19. We used accuracy, f1-score, recall and precision to evaluate the different developed systems. The obtained results confirmed these approaches' effectiveness in identifying COVID-19, However, ML-based classifiers couldn't performup to the standards achieved byDL-basedmodels. Among all, NB performed worst by hardly achieving accuracy above 76%,Whereas KNN and DT compete by securing 84.56% and 85% accuracies, respectively. Besides these, DL models attained better performance as CNN, DNN and LSTM secured more than 90% accuracies. The LTSM outperformed all by achieving an accuracy of 96.78% and an F1-score of 96.58%. In 2019, the infectious coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) was first reported in Wuhan, China. It has then become a public health problem in the world. Therefore, we propose a model capable of distinguishing between masked and nonmasked faces using a convolutional neural network (CNN) based on deep learning (DL)—MobileNetV2 in this paper. Personal protective equipment (PPE) donning detection for medical staff is a key link of medical operation safety guarantee and is of great significance to combat COVID-19. However, the lack of dedicated datasets makes the scarce research on intelligence monitoring of workers’ PPE use in the field of healthcare. In this paper, we construct a dress codes dataset for medical staff under the epidemic. And based on this, we propose a PPE donning automatic detection approach using deep learning. With the participation of health care personnel, we organize 6 volunteers dressed in different combinations of PPE to simulate more dress situations in the preset structured environment, and an effective and robust dataset is constructed with a total of 5233 preprocessed images. Starting from the task’s dual requirements for speed and accuracy, we use the YOLOv4 convolutional neural network as our learning model to judge whether the donning of different PPE classes corresponds to the body parts of the medical staff meets the dress codes to ensure their self-protection safety. Experimental results show that compared with three typical deep-learning-based detection models, our method achieves a relatively optimal balance while ensuring high detection accuracy (84.14%), with faster processing time (42.02ms) after the average analysis of 17 classes of PPE donning situation. Overall, this research focuses on the automatic detection of worker safety protection for the first time in healthcare, which will help to improve its technical level of risk management and the ability to respond to potentially hazardous events. The COVID-19 infection is the greatest danger to humankind right now because of the devastation it causes to the lives of its victims. Respiratory diseases indicate severe medical problems. They cause death for more than three million people annually according to the World Health Organization (WHO). Recently, with coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19) spreading the situation has become extremely serious. Thus, early detection of infected people is very vital in limiting the spread of respiratory diseases and COVID-19. In this paper, we have examined two different models using convolution neural networks. Firstly, we proposed and build a convolution neural network (CNN) model from scratch for classification the lung breath sounds. Secondly, we employed transfer learning using the pre-trained network AlexNet applying on the similar dataset. This paper aims to address the detection of COVID-19 by developing an accurate and efficient diagnostic system using chest X-ray images. The research utilizes open-source Kaggle data comprising four categories: COVID-19, Lung-Opacity, Normal, and Viral Pneumonia. The proposed system employs convolutional neural networks (CNNs), including VGG19, RNN-LSTM, and inceptionv3. Results vary among the methodologies, with VGG19 achieving 26% accuracy, RNN-LSTM attaining 25% accuracy (28% with preprocessing), and inceptionv3 with histogram equalization achieving 83% accuracy. A CNN designed from scratch demonstrates the highest performance, with an accuracy of 93% (96% with histogram equalization). Since the unexpected upsurge of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (COVID-19) in 2019, it has rapidly spread all over the world. This viral pandemic has dramatically affected human health and daily life. Recent advances in artificial intelligence (AI) techniques are considered key enablers to expediting COVID-19 detection issues. In particular, the development of high-performance deep learning (DL) models with high levels of accuracy is a significant step towards a fast and high-precision method for the detection and diagnosis of COVID-19 infected patients. This paper proposes a convolutional neural network (CNN) model for the classification of COVID-19 positive infected and negative/normal patients. This model is applied to a dataset consisting of 3,000 chest X-ray images in 2 classes of diagnoses– COVID-19 and normal. The CNN is implemented via a Keras framework with a hyperparameter tuning technique, and a data augmentation technique is performed to achieve the best accuracy. Experimentally, the confusion matrix, precision-recall curve, and receiver operating characteristic curve (ROCC) are utilized to analyze the performance of the CNN model. Experimental results demonstrate that the CNN provides a high-performance classification of COVID-19 patients with a testing accuracy of 99% and a testing loss rate of 0.034. The Precision, Recall, F1-score, and the area under the ROCC for this model are 99.02%, 98.97%, 99%, and 100%, respectively. This model applied to X-ray images provides a quick and accurate approach to distinguishing between normal negative cases and COVID-19 infected patients, and should aid doctors and radiologists in the screening of COVID-19 patients. Prediction of Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) has been an important aspect of Pharmacovigilance because of its impact in the pharma industry. The standard process of introduction of a new drug into a market involves a lot of clinical trials and tests. This is a tedious and time consuming process and also involves a lot of monetary resources. The faster approval of a drug helps the patients who are in need of the drug. The in silico prediction of Adverse Drug Reactions can help speed up the aforementioned process. The challenges involved are lack of negative data present and predicting ADR from just the chemical structure. Although many models are already available to predict ADR, most of the models use biological activities identifiers, chemical and physical properties in addition to chemical structures of the drugs. But for most of the new drugs to be tested, only chemical structures will be available. The performance of the existing models predicting ADR only using chemical structures is not efficient. Therefore, an efficient prediction of ADRs from just the chemical structure has been proposed in this paper. The proposed method involves a separate model for each ADR, making it a binary classification problem. This paper presents a novel CNN model called Drug Convolutional Neural Network (DCNN) to predict ADRs using chemical structures of the drugs. The performance is measured using the metrics such as Accuracy, Recall, Precision, Specificity, F1 score, AUROC and MCC. The results obtained by the proposed DCNN model outperform the competing models on the SIDER4.1 database in terms of all the metrics. A case study has been performed on a COVID-19 recommended drugs, where the proposed model predicted the ADRs that are well aligned with the observations made by medical professionals using conventional methods. Background: Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) first appeared in December 2019, and spread rapidly around the world. COVID-19 is a pneumonia caused by novel coronavirus infection in 2019. COVID-19 is highly infectious and transmissible. By 7 May 2021, the total number of cumulative number of deaths is 3,259,033. In order to diagnose the infected person in time to prevent the spread of the virus, the diagnosis method for COVID-19 is extremely important. To solve the above problems, this paper introduces a Multi-Level Enhanced Sensation module (MLES), and proposes a new convolutional neural network model, MLES-Net, based on this module. Methods: Attention has the ability to automatically focus on the key points in various information, and Attention can realize parallelism, which can replace some recurrent neural networks to a certain extent and improve the efficiency of the model. We used the correlation between global and local features to generate the attention mask. First, the feature map was divided into multiple groups, and the initial attention mask was obtained by the dot product of each feature group and the feature after the global pooling. Then the attention masks were normalized. At the same time, there were two scaling and translating parameters in each group so that the normalize operation could be restored. Then, the final attention mask was obtained through the sigmoid function, and the feature of each location in the original feature group was scaled. Meanwhile, we use different classifiers on the network models with different network layers. Results: The network uses three classifiers, FC module (fully connected layer), GAP module (global average pooling layer) and GAPFC module (global average pooling layer and fully connected layer), to improve recognition efficiency. GAPFC as a classifier can obtain the best comprehensive effect by comparing the number of parameters, the amount of calculation and the detection accuracy. The experimental results show that the MLES-Net56-GAPFC achieves the best overall accuracy rate (95.27%) and the best recognition rate for COVID-19 category (100%). Conclusions: MLES-Net56-GAPFC has good classification ability for the characteristics of high similarity between categories of COVID-19 X-Ray images and low intra-category variability. Considering the factors such as accuracy rate, number of network model parameters and calculation amount, we believe that the MLES-Net56-GAPFC network model has better practicability. Recently, the whole world was hit by COVID‐19 pandemic that led to health emergency everywhere. During the peak of the early waves of the pandemic, medical and healthcare departments were overwhelmed by the number of COVID‐19 cases that exceeds their capacity. Machine‐learning can be very helpful in carrying out this task. In this paper, we tackle the problem of COVID‐19 diagnostics following a data‐centric approach. For this purpose, we construct a diversified dataset of chest X‐ray images from publicly available datasets and by applying data augmentation techniques. Then, we employ a transfer learning approach based on a pre‐trained convolutional neural network (DenseNet‐169) to detect COVID‐19 in chest X‐ray images. In addition to that, we employ Gradient‐weighted Class Activation Mapping (GradCAM) to provide visual inspection and explanation of the predictions made by our deep learning model. The results were evaluated against various metrics such as sensitivity, specificity, Positive Predictive Value (PPV), Negative Predictive Value (NPV) and the confusion matrix. Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) is a life-threatening infectious disease caused by a newly discovered strain of the coronaviruses. As by the end of 2020, Covid-19 is still not fully understood, but like other similar viruses, the main mode of transmission or spread is believed to be through droplets from coughs and sneezes of infected persons. The accurate detection of Covid-19 cases poses some questions to scientists and physicians. The two main kinds of tests available for Covid-19 are viral tests, which tells you whether you are currently infected and antibody test, which tells if you had been infected previously. Routine Covid-19 test can take up to 2 days to complete; in reducing chances of false negative results, serial testing is used. Medical image processing by means of using Chest X-ray images and Computed Tomography (CT) can help radiologists detect the virus. This imaging approach can detect certain characteristic changes in the lung associated with Covid-19. In this paper, a deep learning model or technique based on the Convolutional Neural Network is proposed to improve the accuracy and precisely detect Covid-19 from Chest Xray scans by identifying structural abnormalities in scans or X-ray images. The outbreak of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) has created a disaster worldwide and it became a very severe and acute disease. COVID-19 prevalence is rapidly increasing around the world. Deep learning (DL) technology had become a hot topic in the context of computing and is widely applied in various medical applications. These techniques have proven to be one of the effective tools for clinicians in the automatic diagnoses of COVID-19. The goal of the present paper is to provide an overview of recently developed systems based on DL techniques that use various medical imaging modalities such as Computer Tomography (CT) and Chest X-Rays (CXR). This review focuses on systems that had been developed for the diagnosis of COVID-19 with the use of the DL methods, as well as the well-known datasets that are utilized for the training of those networks. Finally, the researcher reviewed 58 research papers based on different medical images. Overall, this article aims to assist experts (medical or otherwise) and technicians to understand how the DL approaches are utilized in this context and the way that they can potentially be expanded to combat COVID-19 outbreaks. Corona Virus continues to harms its effects on the people lives across the globe. The screening of infected persons has to be identified is a vital step because it is a fast and low-cost way. Here radiological chest X-rays are easily available with low cost only. In this survey paper, Convolutional Neural Network(CNN) based solution that will benefit in detection of the Covid-19 positive patients using radiography chest X-Ray images. To test the efficiency of the solution, using data sets of publicly available X-Ray images of Corona virus positive cases and negative cases. Images of positive Corona Virus patients and pictures of healthy person images are divided into testing images and trainable images. The solution which are providing the good results with classification accuracy within the test set-up. Then GUI based application supports for medical examination areas. This GUI application can be used on any computer and performed by any medical examiner or technician to determine Corona Virus positive patients using radiography X-ray images. The early diagnosis and the accurate separation of COVID-19 from non-COVID-19 cases based on pulmonary diffuse airspace opacities is one of the challenges facing researchers. Recently, researchers try to exploit the Deep Learning (DL) method's capability to assist clinicians and radiologists in diagnosing positive COVID-19 cases from chest X-ray images. In this approach, DL models, especially Deep Convolutional Neural Networks (DCNN), propose real-time, automated effective models to detect COVID-19 cases. However, conventional DCNNs usually use Gradient Descent-based approaches for training fully connected layers. Although GD-based Training (GBT) methods are easy to implement and fast in the process, they demand numerous manual parameter tuning to make them optimal. Besides, the GBT's procedure is inherently sequential, thereby parallelizing them with Graphics Processing Units is very difficult. Therefore, for the sake of having a real-time COVID-19 detector with parallel implementation capability, this paper proposes the use of the Whale Optimization Algorithm for training fully connected layers. The designed detector is then benchmarked on a verified dataset called COVID-Xray-5k, and the results are verified by a comparative study with classic DCNN, DUICM, and Matched Subspace classifier with Adaptive Dictionaries. The results show that the proposed model with an average accuracy of 99.06% provides 1.87% better performance than the best comparison model. The paper also considers the concept of Class Activation Map to detect the regions potentially infected by the virus. This was found to correlate with clinical results, as confirmed by experts. In this paper, two novel, powerful, and robust convolutional neural network (CNN) architectures are designed and proposed for two different classification tasks using publicly available data sets. The first architecture is able to decide whether a given chest X-ray image of a patient contains COVID-19 or not with 98.92% average accuracy. The second CNN architecture is able to divide a given chest X-ray image of a patient into three classes (COVID-19 versus normal versus pneumonia) with 98.27% average accuracy. The hyperparameters of both CNN models are automatically determined using Grid Search. Experimental results on large clinical data sets show the effectiveness of the proposed architectures and demonstrate that the proposed algorithms can overcome the disadvantages mentioned above. Moreover, the proposed CNN models are fully automatic in terms of not requiring the extraction of diseased tissue, which is a great improvement of available automatic methods in the literature. To the best of the author's knowledge, this study is the first study to detect COVID-19 disease from given chest X-ray images, using CNN, whose hyperparameters are automatically determined by the Grid Search. Another important contribution of this study is that it is the first CNN-based COVID-19 chest X-ray image classification study that uses the largest possible clinical data set. A total of 1,524 COVID-19, 1,527 pneumonia, and 1524 normal Xray images are collected. The 2019 coronavirus disease, or SARS-CoV-2, is a rapidly spreading viral infection that has affected millions of people around the world. Due to its rapid spread and increasing numbers, it becomes overwhelming for health professionals to quickly diagnose the disease and prevent its spread. Therefore, automation of the diagnostic procedure has become essential. This improves work efficiency and keeps healthcare workers protected from exposure to viruses. Medical image analysis is one of the emerging fields of research where this problem can be addressed even more precisely. This paper presents the prediction of SARS-CoV-2 using chest roentgen rays images and the implementation of an image processing system using deep learning and neural networks. This study presents a methodology that utilises deep learning techniques, including machine learning and convolutional neural networks, to predict the presence of SARS-CoV-2 infection in patients based on the analysis of chest radiographs. The utilisation of deep architectures is essential in the categorization of roentgen rays images due to the intricate nature of their structures. In light of this, we present a neural network including a sequential arrangement of ResNet50 and Res Net152V2 networks. The network demonstrated superior accuracy by employing various features derived from two robust networks. In order to assess the performance of our network, a comprehensive evaluation was conducted on a dataset consisting of 15,602 images. This evaluation aimed to determine the accuracy achieved by the network under real-world conditions. The network under consideration has an average accuracy of 93% in detecting both SARS-CoV-2 and normal cases, rendering it a potentially valuable tool inside the radiology department. The 2019 coronavirus (COVID‐19), started in China, spreads rapidly around the entire world. In automated medical imagery diagnostic technique, due to presence of noise in medical images and use of single pre‐trained model on low quality images, the existing deep network models cannot provide the optimal results with better accuracy. Hence, hybrid deep learning model of Xception model & Resnet50V2 model is proposed in this paper. This study suggests classifying X‐ray images into three categories namely, normal, bacterial/viral infections and Covid positive. It utilizes CLAHE & BM3D techniques to improve visual clarity and reduce noise. Transfer learning method with variety of pre‐trained models such as ResNet‐50, Inception V3, VGG‐16, VGG‐19, ResNet50V2, and Xception are used for better feature extraction and Chest X‐ray image classification. The overfitting issue were resolved using K‐fold cross validation. The proposed hybrid deep learning model results high accuracy of 97.8% which is better than existing techniques. This paper presents a control system for indoor safety measures using a Faster R-CNN (Region-based Convolutional Neural Network) architecture. The proposed system aims to ensure the safety of occupants in indoor environments by detecting and recognizing potential safety hazards in real time, such as capacity control, social distancing, or mask use. Using deep learning techniques, the system detects these situations to be controlled, notifying the person in charge of the company if any of these are violated. The proposed system was tested in a real teaching environment at Rey Juan Carlos University, using Raspberry Pi 4 as a hardware platform together with an Intel Neural Stick board and a pair of PiCamera RGB (Red Green Blue) cameras to capture images of the environment and a Faster R-CNN architecture to detect and classify objects within the images. To evaluate the performance of the system, a dataset of indoor images was collected and annotated for object detection and classification. The system was trained using this dataset, and its performance was evaluated based on precision, recall, and F1 score. The results show that the proposed system achieved a high level of accuracy in detecting and classifying potential safety hazards in indoor environments. The proposed system includes an efficiently implemented software infrastructure to be launched on a low-cost hardware platform, which is affordable for any company, regardless of size or revenue, and it has the potential to be integrated into existing safety systems in indoor environments such as hospitals, warehouses, and factories, to provide real-time monitoring and alerts for safety hazards.
