The implementation of the circular economy in companies undoubtedly requires a transition of their business systems towards more environmentally oriented ones. However, there is a lack of empirical research on the topic in the micro-level. Based on a sample of 404 managers with positions of responsibility in SMEs that are in transition towards a circular economy, this paper analyses at the micro level, through the use of structural equation modelling, how internal and external drivers contribute to this transition process and, at the same time, how the process itself impacts the resilience of the company and, consequently, its transformation process. The obtained results contribute to the literature by observing that internal factors carry more weight than external factors when implementing the CE transition. They illustrate how resilience derived from the CE transition can foster transformative change and demonstrate the CE's impact beyond environmental sustainability, extending its influence into strategic management and organizational fields. Enhanced awareness about plastic cutlery pollution has brought a green transition in consumers' intentions. Through the lens of green offers by the food aggregators, this research investigates the relationship of the antecedents to green consumption intention. A conceptual model extending the stimulus-organism-response (S-O-R) theory is tested by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) on the primary data of 622 green consumers. The significant relations between perceived consumer effectiveness to green brand trust, influencing green consumption intentions were established. Social Image partially mediates the relation of green brand trust to green consumption intention. The identified relationships among the variables provide practical and theoretical implications. This article examines the moderating influence of environmental consciousness and recycling intentions on green purchase behavior (GPB) in an emerging economy. Through this study, we attempt to significantly contribute to the existing body of knowledge on green marketing by ascertaining the role of those ethical constructs, on GPB. A hypo-deductive research design was adopted and a theoretical model was conceptualized by linking the moderating effects of environmental consciousness and recycling intentions to GPB. To collect the data for the study, a self-administered questionnaire was run with 312 consumers from India. The data were analyzed for assessment of the measurement and structural models via structural equation modeling. The findings indicate that environmental consciousness and recycling intentions significantly moderate the impact of perceived consumer effectiveness (PCE) and willingness to be environmentally friendly (WEF) on GPB. The study offers managerial insights for green marketers to operate in fast growing emerging markets. The present study is significant as it is the first of its kind which links the moderating effects of environmental consciousness and recycling intentions in light of the theory of planned behavior (TPB) on GPB in such a context. Abstract This study is focused on the investigation of the main sustainability drivers that may improve production performances for Asian firms. The main objective of the paper is to unfold the potential tangible and intangible sustainability resources that can act as strategic assets in improving production performances, with the Resource-Based View as the main framework used in the study. As a further investigation, the research explores how these resources may vary under the contingency perspective by considering two different stages of implementation of Quality Management Systems within the respondents. These issues are examined through a wide survey of textile firms in India and Pakistan, using Structural Equation Modelling as the main tool of investigation. Some of the main outcomes show that Environmental Management and Safety Management result in the strategic use of resources to improve production performances. It emerges from the contingency analysis that increasing importance is given to intangible assets by those firms that are at an advanced stage of implementation of their Quality Management System. Food sustainability has been a growing focus in an attempt to limit climate change; as a result, the sustainable food market and an onset of social behaviors, such as shopping local and eating plant-based, is increasing. Limited however, is the understanding of how these sustainable food options are perceived among individuals who have different motivations for eating the way that they do. The situated identity enactment model and food neophobia literature are used to conceptualize the development of a model outlining how physical health, culture, and sustainability driven motivations of food patterns influence one's fear of sustainable food-moving beyond attitude as a suitable measurement in this context due to the complexity in the way select situational ques are cognitively processed. Data were collected among a representative U.S sample (n = 414) and analyzed through structural equation modeling using plant-based meat as the product of focus. Individuals whose food choices are culturally driven showed greater sustainable food neophobia and as motivations were more sustainability driven, the less fear they had of such foods. Contrary to what existing literature suggests, those driven by physical health showed no significance in the effects of their food patterns on neophobia even when considering a food option often positioned as healthier. Results also provided evidence of high local identity being a positive predictor of neophobia among those whose choices were culturally and sustainably driven. This study highlights the sensitivity of sustainable food and the importance of considering context, norms, and identity on food behaviors, regardless of one's underlying motives for food choices. This paper develops a theoretical integration and estimates an associated structural equation model of the ecological footprints of nations. The ecological footprint is an approximation of environmental pressure on natural resources that stems from production, consumption, and the resultant disposal of waste. We use structural equation modeling techniques to test an integrative perspective based on direct and indirect effects, taken from human ecology, ecological economics, modernization, and political economy approaches, as well as from the natural sciences. We find evidence for the conjuncture of many of the theories investigated and for contextualizing the footprint in a global network of causes. The model raises questions about conclusions reached in prior analyses based on direct effects only. The significant roles played by natural and economic forces suggest a need to attend to multidisciplinary dynamics. Microfinance has been addressed as a mechanism to increase financial access to the poor as one of the sustainable development goals. Accordingly, a more comprehensive understanding of the determinant factors of microfinance sustainability is necessary to implement further these financial institutions in rural areas. This research seeks to develop sustainability microfinance models and policy formulation to alleviate poverty in rural communities in East Sumba. We collect the data by distributing questionnaires to 148 stakeholders of the Tapa Walla Badi microfinance group in Mbatakapidu and the Rinjung Pahamu microfinance group in Wangga village. Focus group discussions in those locations supplement the data from the questionnaires. The endogenous and mediating variables of this study are microfinance sustainability and governance factors, respectively. Meanwhile, the exogenous variables are social, economic, and environmental factors. We then quantitatively analyze the data by using structural equation modeling (SEM) through the analysis of moment structures (AMOS). The findings show the mediating role of governance factors in microfinance sustainability. To do so, the MFIs need to maintain their positive attitudes towards the environment and implement green practices to achieve sustainability. The last but not least, this study provides empirical evidence regarding the level of adaptation of small-scale MFIs to green MFIs. Thus, the transformation process towards a green MFI can survive in the long-run through good governance support. This study primarily assesses a conceptual model that links green logistics management practices with social, environmental, market and financial performances to examine its capability in achieving sustainable performance. The study examines the direct influence of green logistics management practices on environmental, social, market and financial performances. Further, the mediating effects of environmental performance, social performance and market performance between green logistics management practices and financial performance are examined. The study uses dataset gathered from 240 firms across three industries (entertainment, manufacturing and logistics) using structured questionnaires. The structural equation modelling partial least square (Smartpls software 3.2.8) is used to simultaneously test both the direct and indirect relationships between the variables. The results indicate that green logistics management practices has significant positive influence on environmental performance while it insignificantly influences social, market and financial performances. Besides, environmental performance mediates green logistics management practices and financial, social and market performances, while social performance fails to mediate the influence of both green logistics management practices and environmental performance on financial performance. This study expands literature by obtaining the results for the conceptual model and dealing with the implication from the Ghanaian perspective, which is a lower middle-income economy to strike a balance between knowledge. The study reveals that the adoption of green logistics management practices has little influence on improving the social welfare and health of the society and employees while it improves financial performance through environmental and market performances.
