The gap between classical continuity and nanomechanics can be bridged using the concept of nonlocal elasticity. The Voigt viscoelastic model and the generalized dual-phase thermoelastic micropolar framework (DPL) are considered. Also, higher-order time derivatives with a two-phase delay are included in the heat transfer equation to generalize the proposed model. The mechanical and viscoelastic properties of suspensions, colloidal liquids, concretes, etc., can be described by applying the suggested model. As an example of using the proposed model, the effect of the pulsed heat transfer rate on the thermoelastic micropolar half-space was investigated. The analytical formulas for deformation, nonlocal thermal stress, and temperature change were derived after solving the governing equations using the Laplace transform technique. The graphical representation of numerical simulation results has been utilized to illustrate the effects of micropolarity, higher-order phenomena, phase delay, nonlocal index, and viscosity variables on a given distance. In this article, a thermomagnetic viscoelastic nonlocal model has been introduced that incorporating the nonlocal elasticity theory of Eringen and the Kelvin–Voigt type. In the heat conductivity equation, the dual-phase-lag thermoelastic model (DPL) has been used to account for microstructural effects caused by high-rate heat transfer processes. The proposed DPL thermoelastic model illustrates the effects of material deficiencies and the thermomechanical relationship due to the extremely rapid heating. Within the framework of the nonlocal DPL model, a one-dimensional magneto-thermoelastic problem of half-space whose surface is exposed to an instantaneous heat source and magnetic field has been studied. With the eigenvalue approach technique and Laplace transform method, analytical solutions for the studied physical fields are provided. The transformed expressions to the field quantities are reversed into the physical domain by applying Zakian's algorithm. This article presents a new thermoelastic model that incorporates fractional-order derivatives of two-phase heat transfer as well as a two-temperature concept. The objective of this model is to improve comprehension and forecasting of heat transport processes in two-phase-lag systems by employing fractional calculus. This model suggests a new generalized fractional derivative that can make different kinds of singular and non-singular fractional derivatives, depending on the kernels that are used. The non-singular kernels of the normalized sinc function and the Rabotnov fractional–exponential function are used to create the two new fractional derivatives. The thermoelastic responses of a solid cylinder with a restricted surface and exposed to a moving heat flux were examined in order to assess the correctness of the suggested model. It was considered that the cylinder's thermal characteristics are dependent on the linear temperature change and that it is submerged in a continuous magnetic field. To solve the set of equations controlling the suggested issue, Laplace transforms were used. In addition to the reliance of thermal characteristics on temperature change, the influence of derivatives and fractional order was also studied by providing numerical values for the temperature, displacement, and stress components. This study found that the speed of the heat source and variable properties significantly impact the behavior of the variables under investigation. Meanwhile, the fractional parameter has a slight effect on non-dimensional temperature changes but plays a crucial role in altering the peak value of non-dimensional displacement and pressure. Mathematical models and numerical simulations are used to analyse and predict the behaviour of porous materials under coupled mechanical and thermal loading conditions in poroelastic thermoelastic studies. This field is crucial in understanding and designing systems involving porous media where mechanical and thermal factors are important. For this reason, this work aims to provide a theoretical study of porous elastic materials surrounded by a magnetic field using the dual phase lag (DPL) model of thermoelasticity. The significance of this study lies in its diverse range of applications across several engineering, and geophysical disciplines, encompassing soil mechanics, geomechanics, petroleum engineering, and civil engineering. An investigation was conducted on an indefinitely long, porous, solid circular cylinder subjected to a constant magnetic field to demonstrate the proposed theoretical framework. The outer surface of the cylinder was thermally shocked and maintained free from any stress or traction. To solve the problem, Laplace transforms and their inverse methods are used. Numerical examples of excess pore water pressure, temperature, displacement, induced magnetic field, and thermal stresses are given at different medium sites. This work aims to theoretically analyze the nonuniform heat transfer through a micropolar miniature half-space by investigating the magneto-thermo-viscoelastic interactions. To examine the micromechanical coupling and the influence of thermo-mechanical relaxation, a higher-order two-phase-lag thermoelastic concept and a viscoelastic model of Kelvin–Voigt type are considered. The theoretical framework has been extended to incorporate the Eringen's nonlocal model to include the small-scale effects. The so-called Hall effect occurs in a conductive material when it is subjected to a high magnetic field orthogonal to the direction of the current traveling through it. Without nonlocality and viscoelastic effects, it is possible to achieve different types of generalized theories of thermoelasticity. The governing equations are developed and numerically solved using Laplace transforms. The Laplace transform is then inverted numerically using a method based on Fourier series expansion, and then the numerical values of physical fields are presented. The consequences of variations in nonlocality, viscoelasticity and the Hall effect are finally demonstrated and a comparison between the findings of this study and those for the generalized thermoelastic models are reported. This article introduces a new model that can be used to describe elastic thermal vibrations caused by changes in temperature in elastic nanobeams in response to transverse external excitations. Using the idea of nonlocal elasticity and the dual-phase lagging thermoelastic model (DPL), the coupled equations of motion and heat transfer were derived to explain small-scale effects. Additionally, modified couple stress theory (MCST) and Euler–Bernoulli (EB) beam assumptions were considered. The proposed theory was verified by considering the thermodynamic response of nanobeams moving horizontally at a constant speed while one end is subjected to a periodic thermal load. The system of governing equations has been solved numerically with the help of Laplace transforms and one of the tested evolutionary algorithms. The effects of changing the nonlocal modulus, the magnitude of the external force, and the length scale parameter on the system fields were investigated. It is also shown how the behavior of the thermal nanobeam changes depending on the phase delay factors in addition to the horizontal velocity of the beam. To determine this model's accuracy, its results were compared with the results of the classical continuity model and thermoelastic concepts. The numerical results show that when the nanobeam moves, the length scale can change the studied thermal and mechanical vibration wave patterns and physical fields. Additionally, during thermally stimulated vibrations, thermodynamic effects that have implications for the dynamic design and performance improvement of nanostructures must be considered. In this study, the effects of laser light on the heat transfer of a thin beam heated by an applied current and voltage are investigated. Laser heating pulses are simulated as endogenous heat sources with discrete temporal properties. The heat conduction equation is developed using the energy conservation equation and the modified Moore–Gibson–Thompson (MGT) heat flow vector. Thermal and structural analysis of Euler–Bernoulli microbeams is provided with the support of visco-Pasternak's base with three parameters. Using the Laplace transform method, an approximation of an analytical solution is found for the field variables being examined. A comparison was made of the impacts of laser pulse length, the three foundation coefficients, and the thermal parameters on the responses to changes in measured thermophysical fields, such as deflection and temperature. By laminating piezoelectric and flexible materials, we can increase their performance. Therefore, the electrical and mechanical properties of layered piezoelectric materials subjected to electromechanical loads and heat sources must be analyzed theoretically and mechanically. Since the problem of infinite wave propagation cannot be addressed using classical thermoelasticity, extended thermoelasticity models have been derived. The thermo-mechanical response of a piezoelectric functionally graded (FG) rod due to a moveable axial heat source is considered in this paper, utilizing the dual-phase-lag (DPL) heat transfer model. It was supposed that the physical characteristics of the FG rod varied exponentially along the axis of the body. Both ends hold the rod, and there is no voltage across them. The Laplace transform and decoupling techniques were used to obtain the physical fields that have been analyzed. In this article, a modified Moore–Gibson–Thompson heat transfer equation with a memory-dependent derivative is utilized to investigate the thermoelastic interaction induced by non-Gaussian lasers in an infinitely elastic nonlocal medium. A memory-based derivative is also examined, and it was discovered to be superior at predicting the pattern of real-life challenges. This finding is part of the conviction that is currently analyzed. The idea of a memory-dependent derivative is attractive since it has some peculiarities. These characteristics include remarkable components as the kernel function and time lag, both of which can be freely selected according to the specifications of the problem. In addition, the non-local concept of Eringen was utilized in the research project so that the small-scale influence could be understood. Using the Laplace transform as a method, analytical–numerical solutions to problems involving thermo-physical fields, such as dimensionless temperature and deformation, as well as nonlocal physical stress, can be analyzed and compared. The term "optical thermoelasticity" is used to describe how the optical properties of a material change when it is heated or deformed mechanically. The issues of effective elastic and heat transfer symmetry are given particular focus. This study gives a new nonlocal theoretical formulation for a thermo-optical elastic material that can be used to describe how thermomechanical waves and plasma waves relate to the symmetry of semiconductor materials such as silicon or germanium. The suggested model includes the idea of nonlocal elasticity and a modified Moore–Gibson–Thompson (MGT) heat conduction equation with nonsingular fractional derivative operators. The heat transfer equation has been converted and generalized into a nonsingular fractional form based on the concepts of Atangana and Baleanu (AB) using the Mittag–Leffler kernel. On the basis of the analysis of thermoelastic motion, the current research develops a novel model of modified thermoelasticity. The rotating long hollow cylinders with fixed surfaces are considered in a generalized Moore–Gibson–Thompson thermoelastic model (MGTTE) framework, including the modified Ohm's law. The cylinders are made of a thermoelastic material that rotates at a uniform rotational speed and is elastic in the transverse direction. The set of equations for the MGT heat conduction in the new model is built under the influence of the electromagnetic field by including a delay time in the context of Green–Naghdi of the third kind (GN-III). The inner boundary of the hollow cylinder is not only restricted but also sensitive to heat loading. The outer surface, on the other hand, is also restricted but insulates the heat. The Laplace transform method is utilized to deal with the differential equations produced in the new domain and transfer the problem to the space domain. The Dubner and Abate method is used to compute dynamically and graphically depict the theoretical findings for an isotropic transverse material. This paper gives a mathematical formulation for the transverse resonance of thermoelastic nanobeams that are simply supported and compressed with an initial axial force. The nonlocal elasticity concept is used to analyze the influence of length scale with the dual-phase-lag (DPL) heat transfer theory. The nanobeam is due to a changing thermal load and moves in one direction at a constant speed. The governing motion equation for the nonlocal Euler-Bernoulli (EB) beam hypothesis can also be derived with the help of Hamilton's principle and then solved by means of the Laplace transform technique. The small size and clever design of nanoparticles can result in large surface areas. This gives nanoparticles enhanced properties such as greater sensitivity, strength, surface area, responsiveness, and stability. This research delves into the phenomenon of a nanobeam vibrating under the influence of a time-varying heat flow. The nanobeam is hypothesized to have material properties that vary throughout its thickness according to a unique exponential distribution law based on the volume fractions of metal and ceramic components. The top of the FG nanobeam is made entirely of ceramic, while the bottom is made of metal. To address this issue, we employ a nonlocal modified thermoelasticity theory based on a Moore–Gibson–Thompson (MGT) thermoelastic framework. By combining the Euler–Bernoulli beam idea with nonlocal Eringen's theory, the fundamental equations that govern the proposed model have been constructed based on the extended variation principle. The fractional integral form, utilizing Atangana–Baleanu fractional operators, is also used to formulate the heat transfer equation in the suggested model. The strength of a thermoelastic nanobeam is improved by performing detailed parametric studies to determine the effect of many physical factors, such as the fractional order, the small-scale parameter, the volume fraction indicator, and the periodic frequency of the heat flow. In this research, two alternative approaches to fractional derivatives, namely Caputo–Fabrizio (CF) and Atangana–Baleanu (AB) fractional operators, are used to propose a generalized model of thermoelastic heat transfer of a rigid cylinder with thermal characteristics. The proposed model can be constructed by combining the DPL model with phase delays and the two temperature theories. It will be taken into account that the solid cylinder has variable physical properties. It was also assumed that the surface of the cylinder is penetrated by a continuous magnetic field and is regularly exposed to thermal loading from a continuous heat source. Long hollow cylinders are commonly utilized in various technological applications, including liquid and gas transmission. As a result, its value is growing, becoming increasingly important to many research efforts. Compared with thermal isotropic homogeneous cylinders, thermo-viscoelastic orthotropic cylinders have less relevant data. In this paper, a thermoelastic fractional heat conduction model was developed based on the Moore-Gibson-Thompson equation to examine the axial symmetry problem of a viscoelastic orthotropic hollow cylinder. Atangana and Baleanu derivative operators with nonsingular and nonlocal kernels were used in constructing the fractional model. The thermal properties of the cylinder materials are assumed to be temperature-dependent. The Laplace transform is applied to solve the system of governing equations. The numerical calculations for temperature, displacement, and stress components are performed by the effect of fractional order, rotation, and changing thermal properties of the cylinder. The results showed that due to the presence of fractional derivatives, some properties of the physical fields of the medium change according to the value of the fractional order. In the current work, a new generalized model of heat conduction has been constructed taking into account the influence of the microscopic structure into the on non-simple thermoelastic materials. The new model was established on the basis of the system of equations that includes three-phase lags of higher-order and two different temperatures, namely thermodynamic and conductive temperature. The two-temperature thermoelastic model presented by Chen and Gurtin (Z Angew Math Phys 19(4):614–627, 1968) and some other previous models have been introduced as special cases from the proposed model. As an application of the new model, we studied the thermoelastic interactions resulting from sudden heating in an isotropic solid subjected to external body force. The influence of the discrepancy parameter and higher-order of the time-derivative has been discussed. This method is used to investigate the influence of heat generation through heat treatment on a skin tumor a spherical layered structure. The present model can explain the effect of different therapeutic approaches such as cryotherapy sessions, laser therapy, and physical occurrences including transfer, metabolism support, blood perfusion, and other similar treatments. Hyperthermia therapy is now being used to treat cancer. However, understanding the pattern of temperature increase in biological tissues during hyperthermia treatment is essential. In recent years, many physicians and engineers have studied the use of computational and mathematical models of heat transfer in biological systems. The rapid progress in computing technology has intrigued many researchers. Many medical procedures also use engineering techniques and mathematical modeling to ensure their safety and assess the risks involved. This paper provides an analytical solution to the modified Pennes bioheat conduction equation with a single relaxation time by incorporating in it the (MGT) equation. The current study investigates thermophotovoltaic interactions using a new mathematical model of thermoelasticity established on a modification of the Green–Naghdi model of type III (GN-III). The basic equations, in which the heat transfer is in the form of the Moore–Gibson–Thompson (MGT) equation, are derived by adding a single delay factor to the GN-III model. The impact of temperature and electrical elastic displacement of semiconductors throughout the excited thermoelectric mechanism can be studied theoretically using this model. The proposed model was used to investigate the interactions between the processes of thermoelastic plasma in a rotating semiconductor solid sphere that was subjected to a thermal shock and crossed to an externally applied magnetic field. Memory-dependent derivative (MDD) has become a new hot spot in many fields, including vibration mechanics, particle physics and thermoelasticity due to its simple formulation and high expressive force. In this study, a new generalized mathematical thermoelastic model that includes a high-order heat transfer law with different phase delays is developed based on the MD derivatives. The time delay in this new concept represents the duration of the memory influence, while the kernel function represents the dependent weight. A problem of an infinite thermoelastic half-space whose surface is stress-free and periodically heated by a laser-pulse is described in order to validate the proposed model. The system of equations is solved using Laplace transforms technique as well as its inversion is applied based on an appropriate numerical technique. Changes in thermophysical fields are obtained with several values of higher-order time derivatives. The effects of kernel function, time delay parameters and laser pulse duration are also investigated and explained by giving some graphs and tables. Moreover, certain comparisons are made taking into account the various unique features of the current model as well as when the memory effect is ignored.
