Metformin/glipizide tablets are a compound formulation composed of metformin hydrochloride and glipizide. This study aimed to assess the pharmacokinetics and bioequivalence of two fixed-dose combination (FDC) tablets of metformin/glipizide (500 mg/2.5 mg) in healthy Chinese subjects. We conducted a single-center, open-label, randomized, two-way crossover study with a total of 48 subjects enrolled (24 in each dietary group). The test or reference formulations were given to the subjects at random at a ratio of 1 : 1, with a seven-day washout period. Blood samples, collected at prearranged intervals before and up to 24 hours after dosage, were analyzed using validated LC-MS/MS technology to ascertain plasma concentrations of metformin and glipizide. Finally, 23 subjects completed the fasting and fed studies, respectively. In both studies, the 90% confidence intervals for the geometric mean ratios (test/reference) of the C m ax , AUC0-t, and AUC0-∞ were all found to fall within the acceptable range for bioequivalence (80%–125%). The exposure of metformin/glipizide FDC tablets in vivo was not significantly affected by food. No serious adverse events were observed. In conclusion, this study demonstrated that both the test and reference metformin/glipizide tablets exhibited bioequivalence and were well tolerated under both fasting and fed conditions. Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) have been used in many underground coal mines in China with high constructive efficiency, sound equipment integration and low cost. A recent application of TBM in Yuandian No.2 Coal Mine in Huaibei, China, has shown that the surrounding rockmass spalled severely in stratum impacted by multiple joint sets. To analyze this problem, a new 3D ubiquitous-multiple-joint (UMJ) model was proposed in the present research, which comprised a rock matrix and multiple sets of joints according to geological conditions. Then, the yielding and deformation of the roadway excavated by TBM were analyzed. The results showed that the plastic zones, stress states and displacement of surrounding rockmass were significantly affected by the orientation of joint sets. The results could well indicate failure characteristics of the in-situ roadway and showed the advantages of UMJ model to simulate the excavation in jointed rockmass. The key factors influencing the roadway stability were discussed by the UMJ model. Based on the simulation results, suggestions on excavation-support schemes were proposed for TBM excavating roadways. The incidence and mortality of influenza in children had risen, but data are limited on children with severe influenza virus infection in China. We conducted a retrospective case–control study and collected the patients' clinical data. Clinical data including demography, clinical presentation, laboratory findings, radiologic findings, treatment and outcomes were collected. Children were clinically confirmed to have virus infection in Shanghai in three hospitals from June 2014 to June 2019. During the study, 36,047 children were enrolled. Among them, 118 met the criteria for severe flu. Clinical symptoms such as fever, cough, gastrointestinal symptoms, coma and epilepsy were higher in the severe group. Complications such as pneumorrhagia, heart failure, septic shock, acute renal failure and influenza-associated encephalitis were higher in the severe influenza group than the death group. The laboratory findings including decreased hemoglobin, high alanine aminotransferase, high urea nitrogen and high lactate levels were risk factors for death in children with influenza. Influenza-associated encephalopathy (IAE), acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) were the common clinical manifestations and complications for the severe influenza, and delayed use of oseltamivir was found to be associated with fatality. • Application of membrane separation process in China is comprehensively investigated. • Leachate treatment capacity of NF is the highest in landfill and incineration plant. • A combination of NF and RO exhibits the best efficiency for leachates treatment. • Membrane processes are more likely to be adopted in economically developed regions. • Operation costs of membrane process mainly depends on the pre-treatment process. To comprehensively investigate the application of membrane separation technology in the treatment of landfill leachate in China, the performance of nearly 200 waste management enterprises of different sizes in China were analyzed, with an emphasis on their scale, regional features, processes, and economic characteristics. It was found that membrane separation technologies, mainly nanofiltration (NF), reverse osmosis (RO), and NF + RO, have been used in China since 2004. The treatment capacity of the two most dominant membrane separation technologies, i.e., NF and RO, were both almost 60,000 m3/d in 2018, and both technologies are widely used in landfills and incineration plants. Their distribution is mainly concentrated in eastern and southwestern China, where the amount of municipal solid waste (MSW) is relatively high and the economy is developing rapidly. Membrane separation technology is the preferred technique for the advanced treatment of leachate because more contaminants can be effectively removed by the technology than by other advanced processes. However, the membrane retentate that is produced using this technology—commonly known as leachate concentrate—is heavily contaminated due to the enrichment of almost all the inorganic anions, heavy metals, and organic matter that remain after bioprocessing. An economic cost analysis revealed that the operating cost of membrane separation technology has stabilized and is between 1.77 USD/m3 and 4.90 USD/m3; electricity consumption is the most expensive cost component. Power sector is the pillar industry to promote China's rapid economic growth. It is also one of the sectors with the largest carbon emissions and water consumption. The green transformation of the power sector has become the focus of China's provincial economic and environmental policies. However, due to the complex inter-provincial power sector linkage, provincial power policies have spillover and overlapping effects, making it difficult for policies to coordinate and complement each other. Here, we quantify the value-added, CO2 emissions and water consumption driven by inter-provincial power sector linkage in China, and proposes differentiated policies at provincial and sectoral levels for green transformation of power sector. By quantifying the economic and environmental correlation effects among China's provincial power sectors, we found that low-carbon transformation of power sector in industrial provinces have higher economic costs. East and North China's policies committed to emission reduction in power sector can save more water. Commodity trade between regions implies a large amount of energy transfer. As an important economic growth pole of China, the Jing-Jin-Ji area (Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei) is also one of the areas with the largest energy consumption in China. Moreover, the primary energy consumer goods in this area are fossil fuels, such as coal. This has led to serious air pollution in the area. Therefore, the reduction of energy consumption under the premise of maintaining sustained economic growth is an important task of the Jing-Jin-Ji area. In this study, an interprovincial input-output model was applied to quantitatively estimate the embodied energy transfer between Jing-Jin-Ji area and other provinces in China. The results indicated that the Metal and nonmetal mineral processing industry and the Electrical, gas and water industry in the Jing-Jin-Ji area exported a large amount of embodied energy to the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta. However, the embodied energy export of the Jing-Jin-Ji area mainly exported by Hebei province. Beijing and Tianjin even have some net import of embodied energy. The embodied energy transfer between Tianjin, Hebei and other provinces was mainly driven by investment, while the main media of embodied energy transfer between Beijing and other provinces was consumption. Therefore, we suggest that the Jing-Jin-Ji area should further increase the degree of dependence on other provinces' energy-intensive products and reduce the export of energy-intensive products. In addition, there should be difference in the energy and industrial policies among Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, and the problems of high energy consumption and high proportion of heavy industry in Hebei should be first resolved. Water shortages and the uneven distribution of water resources restrict China’s sustainable development. The concepts of virtual water and water footprints provide a new approach to alleviate regional shortages of Chinese water resources by the inter-provincial allocation of commercial water resources. In this study, an interregional input-output model was applied to quantitatively estimate the water footprint of each province in China and to quantify the inter-provincial transfer of virtual water. The results indicated that there was considerable diversity in the water footprints of the various provinces. Provinces with larger populations and greater GDP had larger water footprints, and developed regions had higher proportions of external water footprints. From the perspective of final demand, local consumption was the main factor driving the water footprints of these provinces. From the perspective of sectoral structure, the agricultural water footprint had a larger proportion in these provinces. The transfer of virtual water in China did not occur from regions with abundant water resources to those suffering from water shortages, but it generally occurred from west to east, from inland to coastal areas, and from underdeveloped to developed regions. Many water-deficient regions also had large net virtual water exports. Water shortages in China will be alleviated by the enhancement of industrial water-use efficiency in water-deficient regions, the transfer of water-intensive industries to regions with abundant water resources, and the development of tertiary industries with low water consumption. The Belt and Road Initiative was proposed by China in 2013 to promote the interconnected development and prosperity of all participating countries. In the context of global response to climate change, understanding the embodied carbon transfer change along economic trade before and after the Belt and Road Initiative is essential to reduce carbon overall emission. In this paper, we used a multi-regional input-output model to study the embodied carbon transfer in trade between the Belt and Road countries that have signed cooperation documents with China from 2004 to 2017. The results showed that from 2004 to 2017, the growth rate that China's carbon emissions imported from other Belt and Road Initiative countries was about 1.9 times that of its exports. From 2004 to 2017, the proportion of China's carbon imports from other Belt and Road countries in China's total carbon imports increased from 3.41% to 3.73%, and exports decreased from 6.52% to 6.03%. In both 2004 and 2017, Electricity, Gas and Water sector, Heavy Industry sector, Transport sector were the three largest carbon transfer sectors in China's multilateral trade. In 2017, the embodied carbon transfer by multilateral trade among other Belt and Road countries except China increased by 15.53% compared with 2004. Food waste valorization to hydrogen is a viable energy source with potential economic benefits. The current study examines the economic viability and environmental effect of producing hydrogen from food waste in China using biogas steam reforming for power generation. The key findings show that the steam reforming of biogas from food waste could produce 221.12 billion kg of hydrogen gas. The quantity of hydrogen gas yield could generate 661.97 TWh of electricity. It was found that the consumption of the available electricity from the hydrogen gas could displace 15,482.26 M liters of diesel fuel combustion. The amount of diesel fuel consumption avoided can reduce global warming by 42,041.90 kt CO 2 e. It was also discovered that hydrogen has an appealing ecological efficiency of 94.64% when used as a source of energy generation. According to the outcomes of the economic analysis, the food waste to hydrogen project is economically feasible in all of China's provinces. The average hydrogen production cost, return on investment, the payback period is $0.814/kWh, 29.8%, and 7.2 years. • Environmental changes that are exclusively associated with changes in China's inter-provincial trade structure are quantified. • The inter-provincial trade structure changes contributed to the decrease of China's average carbon intensity. • The inter-provincial trade structure change aggravates the uneven distribution of water resources in China. • The market mechanism of inter-provincial trade has not worked more effectively for land resources. Interprovincial trade structure keeps changing during the development of domestic market economy in China. As the internal circulation and environmental protection become the theme of China's future development, a shift towards more environment-friendly interprovincial trade structure should be advocated to achieve sustainable economic and environmental development. Previous studies rarely paid attention to the comprehensive influences of interprovincial trade structure change on multiple environmental impacts. Here, we constructed an analytical framework to quantify the influences of trade structure change on national and provincial CO2 emissions, land use and water consumption during 1997–2012 based on the multi-regional input-output analysis. The results showed that inter-provincial trade structure change contributed to the decline in national average carbon intensity and water use intensity, resulting in an overall decrease of CO2 emissions and water use by 313.6 million tons and 2.9 billion m3. However, interprovincial trade structure change made some water-scarce provinces (e.g., Xinjiang, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Jiangsu) undertake water-intensive industries, further exacerbating the uneven distribution of water resources in China. On the contrary, interprovincial trade structure change led to the increase of national average land use intensity, which increased 6.3 million hectares of land use. We suggested that the environment costs of carbon emissions should be further embodied into the commodity prices through carbon tax or carbon market, facilitating the development of low-carbon interprovincial trade structure. Besides, water-intensive industries should be transferred to water-abundant provinces by adjusting the water price in water-scarce provinces. The trade-offs between land and water resources should be made for these eastern regions that took more and more land-intensive industries, as they had high land use efficiency but scarce water resources. • Provincial CO 2 emissions of China are investigated from different perspectives. • Embodied emission flows driven by final demands and primary inputs are quantified. • Income-based emissions are relatively higher in energy resource-abundant province. • Tertiary industries are the major contributors to China's income-based emissions. Emission accounting can help to identify main CO 2 emitters and inform emission mitigation policymaking. Previous studies have proved that the application of different accounting principles results in different emission levels, thus bring different policy implications, while the emissions enabled by primary inputs (or income-based emission) have been overlooked in studies for carbon mitigation in China. Understanding the role of primary inputs in CO 2 emissions is a prerequisite to create efficient supply-side mitigation policies. Here, we conduct a quantitative study of China's provincial production-, consumption-, and income-based CO 2 emissions in a unified multi-regional input-output analysis framework. The results are compared from the three perspectives for 30 provinces in China to help the government identify the main policy targets from production, demand, and supply sides. We found that 64% and 35% of China's emissions are transferred among provinces driven by final demands and primary inputs, respectively. Mitigation policies in heavily industrialized provinces, such as Hebei, Liaoning, and Henan, where the production-based emissions are higher than the consumption- and income-based emissions, should be focused on production side. Similarly, policies in eastern coastal developed provinces and resource-abundant provinces should be focused on demand- and supply-side, respectively. Moreover, we found that tertiary industries, which previous studies generally regard as low-carbon industries, are the major contributors to China's income-based CO 2 emissions with a total of 2026 Mt or 31% of China's total income-based CO 2 emissions. The aggravation of the global warming crisis, due to excessive consumption of traditional energy, urgently calls for the strategic goal of sustainable development. This study addresses endogeneity concerns by employing panel fixed effect and DID models, employing panel data from China's provincial green finance index spanning from 2016 to 2021. The empirical findings indicate that: (1) the impact of the new energy industry on environmental and economic benefits is more pronounced in inland areas characterized by lower GDP and smaller population size; (2) this effect is driven by green technological innovation, government incentive policies, and job creation. Sugarcane leaves have been extensively consumed as a herbal tea for centuries in China, which is an economically important crop containing multiple health benefits. Here we report the structure and in vitro antitumor activity of a purified sugarcane leaf polysaccharide (SLP70–1). SLP70–1 is a homogeneous heteropolysaccharide made up of mannose, glucose, and galactose with a molar ratio of 1.00: 1.89: 2.83. Additionally, the molecular weight of SLP70–1 was 3.23 kDa. Linkage together with NMR examination demonstrated the structural foundation of SLP70–1 were consisted of →4)- α -D-Gal p -(1→, →4)- α -D-Glc p -(1→, →2)- β -D-Man p -(1→, →3)- β -D-Gal p -(1→, →4,6)- β -D-Gal p -(1→, →6)- α -D-Gal p -(1→, →3,6)- α -D-Glc p -(1→ and α -D-Glc p -(1→，and the side chain was confirmed to be →4)- α -D-Glc p -(1→ and →6)- α -D-Gal p -(1→. According to an in vitro cell experiment, SLP70–1 could markedly decrease the survival ability of cancer cells exhibiting concentration dependence, including the survival rate of cancer cells in the lungs, colon, cervix, kidney, and breast, implying potent antitumor activity. As water scarcity intensifies worldwide, the equitable allocation of water resources has emerged as a critical challenge. This research investigates the intricate issue of allocating responsibility for virtual water, a concept that quantifies the water embedded in traded commodities. In pursuit of an effective allocation mechanism, we refine an innovative accounting scheme grounded in economic welfare gains arising from externalities. The results show that water-stressed areas in China, such as Xinjiang, significantly contribute to exporting virtual water and is responsible for 70%–85% of the virtual water outflow. Furthermore, more than 50% of virtual water imported from water-rich regions is attributed to these water-stressed areas while their trade partners bear the rest water responsibility. In contrast, southern China's abundant water resources reduce dependence on virtual water trade, leading to fewer responsibilities. Globally, the allocated responsibility for the new accounting mechanism reaches up to 7.5 times higher than for production-based accounting (PBA) and consumption-based accounting (CBA). Our study also reveals that the degree of dependency (price elasticities) plays a pivotal role in shaping the allocation outcomes. The implications of this research are significant for establishing a transparent and accountable framework for sustainable water resource management and facilitating seamless transitions toward sustainability. Blonanserin is a novel oral antischizophrenic drug. Under fasting (n = 50) and fed (n = 60) conditions, this study compared the bioequivalence of the generic blonanserin tablet with the reference blonanserin tablet. In this single-center, randomized, open-label, 2-period, 2-sequence, crossover study, 110 patients were randomly given a 4-mg dose of either the test or reference blonanserin tablet with a 14-day washout period. Blood samples were taken before performing and up to 72 hours following. A validated high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry technique was used to measure the levels of blonanserin in plasma. Safety was evaluated throughout the study. The study found no significant differences in the maximum observed drug concentration in the plasma (C max ), the area under the plasma concentration-time curve from time 0 to the last sampling time (AUC 0-t ), and the area under the plasma concentration-time curve from time 0 to infinity (AUC 0-∞ ) between the 2 blonanserin formulations. The 90% confidence intervals of the geometric mean ratio of the test/reference formulations for C max , AUC 0-t , and AUC 0-∞ were within the 80%-125% limit. Food dramatically raised blonanserin exposure, and also significantly prolonged the lag time of absorption. No serious adverse events occurred. These results indicate that the 2 blonanserin formulations were bioequivalent and well tolerated in healthy Chinese subjects. To achieve carbon neutrality (i.e., net zero carbon emissions) by 2060, China must make significant changes in its socioeconomic systems, including appropriately allocating emissions responsibility. Traditional methods of delineating responsibilities (such as production-based and consumption-based accounting) can lead to double counting when applied simultaneously and therefore difficulty in determining responsibilities of different agents. An alternative approach based on economic welfare gains from environmental externalities has been refined, ensuring that the responsibilities of consumers and producers add up to the total emissions. The application of this approach to 48 countries and 31 Chinese provinces reveals that regions with less elastic supply and demand, such as Hebei in China and Russia, have higher responsibilities. Furthermore, larger externalities associated with unitary product value shift the burden of obligations from producers to consumers. Regions with high levels of wealth and carbon-intensive imports, such as Zhejiang and Guangdong in China, as well as the United States, typically have higher consumer-based accounting (CBA) emissions than production-based accounting (PBA) emissions and, as a result, redistributed responsibilities between PBA and CBA emissions. The new distribution results vary significantly from PBA or CBA emissions, indicating opportunities for more comprehensive and accessible policy goals.

Objective: The number of children on prolonged mechanical ventilation (PMV) in pediatric intensive care units (PICU) has increased markedly, but little is known about the situation in mainland China. We carried out a multicenter retrospective investigation to describe the clinical characteristics and prognosis of Chinese children receiving long-term ventilation in the PICU., Methods: A retrospective study was performed in 11 PICUs. All participating patients with prolonged mechanical ventilation in the study were retrospectively identified and included from cases admitted to PICUs between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2019., Results: A total of 346 children diagnosed with prolonged mechanical ventilation were included in the study. Overall, 240 survived and were discharged from PICU, 55 died in hospital, and 51 withdrew from mechanical ventilation support with 41 died after discharge. Lower airway diseases were the most common underlying causes (41.6%), followed by central nervous system diseases (29.5%), and neuromuscular diseases (13.3%). Most children (327, 94.5%) received invasive mechanical ventilation (IMV) and only 19 (5.5%) children received noninvasive ventilation (NIV). The median time of tracheostomy after ventilation was 21 days (15-35). Children with tracheostomy had lower mortality with longer PICU stay compared with patients without tracheostomy. Children who underwent tracheostomy were more likely to have central nervous system diseases and neuromuscular diseases., Conclusion: This study showed a steady increase in the number of children receiving prolonged mechanical ventilation during the study period in Chinese PICUs with distinct clinical characteristics and outcomes. Objectives: To explore if SOCS1 is regulated by plasma HDL and its subcomponents HDL2b and HDL3 to affect inflammatory reaction then to influence the severity degree and prognosis of sepsis., Methods: One hundred sepsis patients in ICU and 85 normal control persons from October 2018 to October 2019 in our hospital were enrolled. Adult male C57BL/6 mice were used to establish sepsis model by CLP method. HDL, CRP, and WBC count of human were measured using an auto-analyzer. Plasma HDL, IL-1β, and TNF-α proteins levels of mice were measured with ELISA. Microfluidic chip was used for plasma HDL2b and HDL3 detections. SOCS1 in liver and spleen of mice were measured by qRT-PCR. The relationship between plasma HDL//HDL2b and inflammatory indices/SOCS1 in liver/spleen was analyzed with spearman correlation coefficient method. The sepsis patients/mice were divided into non-survival and survival groups. The sepsis patients were divided into severe and mild sepsis patients based on the SOFA score or divided into high and low score groups according to the APACHE II score. The sepsis mice were divided into high and low score group based on the modified sepsis severity score criterion., Results: Plasma HDL and HDL2b levels were significantly declined (P < 0.01), while HDL3 was normal in both sepsis patients and mice (P > 0.05). Plasma HDL and HDL2b were negatively associated with the serum CRP concentration and positively correlated with the prognosis and severity in sepsis patients (P < 0.05). Moreover, the downregulated plasma HDL but not HDL2b was negatively related to increased SOCS1 mRNA levels in liver and spleen of mice, which were positively connected with TNF-α and IL-1β protein levels (P < 0.05)., Conclusions: Plasma HDL is downregulated in sepsis, which may facilitate inflammatory reaction then activate the SOCS1 signaling to regulate the severity and affect prognosis of sepsis. Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the genetic aetiology in Chinese children diagnosed with status epilepticus (SE)., Methods: Next-generation sequencing, copy number variation (CNV) analysis, and other genetic testing methods were conducted for children with SE lacking an identifiable non-genetic aetiology. Furthermore, the phenotype and molecular data of patients with SE were retrospectively analysed., Results: Among children with SE lacking an identifiable non-genetic aetiology, 73 out of 163 children (44.8 %) were found to have causative variants associated with SE including 66 monogenic mutations in 22 genes and 7 CNVs. Based on the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics scoring system, the monogenic variants included 64 pathogenic/likely pathogenic and 2 uncertain significance variants. SCN1A gene mutations (n = 32) were the most common cause, followed by TSC2 (n = 5), CACNA1A (n = 5), SCN2A (n = 4), SCN9A (n = 2) and DEPDC5 (n = 2) gene mutations. Sixteen mutations were identified in single genes. Furthermore, 51 (77.3 %) monogenic mutations were de novo. Age at SE onset < 1 year (odds ratio [OR] = 2.70, 95 % confidence interval [CI]: 1.25-5.83, p = 0.012) and co-morbidity of intellectual disability (OR = 3.36, 95 %CI: 1.61-6.99, p = 0.001) were independently associated with pathogenic genetic variants., Conclusion: This study identified genetic aetiology in 44.8 % of patients with SE, which indicates a high burden of genetic aetiology among children with SE in China. In response to the emergent public health event of COVID-19, the efficiency of transport of medical waste from hospitals to disposal stations is a worthwhile issue to study. In this paper, based on the actual situation of COVID-19 and environmental impact assessment guidelines, an immune algorithm is used to establish a location model of urban medical waste storage sites. In view of the selection of temporary storage stations and realistic transportation demand, an efficiency-of-transport model of medical waste between hospitals and temporary storage stations is established by using an ant colony-tabu hybrid algorithm. In order to specify such status, Wuhan city in Hubei Province, China-considered the first city to suffer from COVID-19-was chosen as an example of verification; the two-level model and the immune algorithm-ant colony optimization-tabu search (IA-ACO-TS) algorithm were used for simulation and testing, which achieved good verification. To a certain extent, the model and the algorithm are proposed to solve the problem of medical waste disposal, based on transit temporary storage stations, which we are convinced will have far-reaching significance for China and other countries to dispatch medical waste in response to such public health emergencies.

Recently, China has attached great importance to promoting immunization, prompting the media, scholars, and public to focus on its coverage and efficacy. This study aimed to understand the factors influencing parental willingness to have their school-aged children vaccinated with quadrivalent influenza vaccines (QIVs). A cross-sectional study through face-to-face interviews was conducted between September and December 2018. Forty-four kindergartens and primary and junior high schools were randomly selected via stratified three-stage cluster sampling. Of 4,430 participants, 24.6% reported having heard of QIV and 24.2% reported having previously received information on QIV. Of these, 42.8% expressed willingness to obtain the QIV for their children. A junior college degree (adjusted odds ratio [aOR] = 1.447; 95% confidence interval [95% CI]: 1.202-1.742), higher influenza knowledge level (medium level, aOR = 1.150, 95% CI, 1.006-1.314; high level, aOR = 1.332, 95% CI, 1.045-1.697), and previous influenza information (aOR = 2.241; 95% CI, 1.604-3.130) were positively correlated with vaccination willingness. In contrast, no previous QIV-related information (aOR = 0.490; 95% CI, 0.418-0.575), no perceived susceptibility of children to influenza (aOR = 0.576; 95% CI, 0.489-0.680), fear of side effects (aOR = 0.599; 95% CI, 0.488-0.735), concern that vaccines need to be carefully administered (aOR = 0.728; 95% CI, 0.593-0.894), and mistrust of new vaccines (aOR = 0.730; 95% CI, 0.628-0.849) were pivotal barriers hindering parents from having their children vaccinated. This study provides baseline information for future immunization programs and delivery, with the ultimate goal of increasing vaccine uptake and minimizing school-wide influenza outbreaks.
