In this article, a kind of original bamboo-fiber reinforced phosphogypsum composite wall was proposed. The axial compression tests of eight walls and finite element analysis were carried out. The failure modes and mechanical properties of the walls were explored, the influence of parameters on the axial compression performance of the walls was studied, and the calculation methods of the axial compression capacity and stiffness of the composite walls were proposed. The results show that the phosphogypsum cracked first in the composite walls during the loading process, the cracks gradually spreaded through and widened, and the bamboo tubes inside the composite walls were crushed. The buckling failure occurred in the pure original bamboo wall. The bearing capacity of the composite wall control specimen is 140% and 38.46% higher than that of the pure phosphogypsum wall and the pure original bamboo wall, respectively. The number of dovetail nails has no significant effect on the axial compression performance of the composite wall. The bearing capacity and stiffness of composite wall increase with the increase of bamboo number, wall thickness, bamboo wall thickness and phosphogypsum strength. The calculation method of axial bearing capacity and stiffness of composite wall based on bamboo content is proposed. The finite element simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental and theoretical calculation results. The theoretical calculation method has high accuracy. Dew plays an important role as a non-precipitation input to the hydrological cycle and vegetation recovery in semi-arid ecosystems. To clarify the characteristics of dew on plant leaves, typical plants such as Tribulus, Hippophae and Elm were selected in the hilly and gully region of the Loess Plateau in China. The dew amount of typical plant leaves by manual weighing measurement was combined with automatic observation data from leaf wetness sensors (LWS) further to realize the automatic observation of dew on the leaf surface. The results showed that the cumulative dew amount on Tribulus, Hippophae and Elm from May to October in 2022 was in the order of Tribulus (17.46 mm) > Hippophae (11.14 mm) > Elm (5.88 mm), and the difference in the amount was mainly related to the leaf inclination angle and the microstructure of the leaf blade. Dew mainly occurred from 22:00 to 9:00 the next day on a daily scale, and was mainly concentrated in July–October during the year. The dew amount on the leaves of the three plants was less than the amount of rainfall, but the dew frequency was higher than that of rainfall. It was more favorable for the dew formation when the relative humidity is greater than 80.0 %, the difference between air temperature and dewpoint was less than 2 °C, and the wind speed was less than 1.0 m/s. Background and Objective: The study aimed to investigate the alterations of retinal and conjunctival vessels in patients with Behcet's disease (BD). Patients and Methods: In this case-control study, 17 patients (34 eyes) diagnosed with BD and 17 healthy volunteers (34 eyes) matched by age, sex, blood pressure, and intraocular pressure were recruited. Optical coherence tomography angiography examinations were performed to calculate the vessel density of the retina and conjunctiva according to different sizes of vessels and different zones divided by three segmentation methods of the retina: hemispheric segmentation, Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study, and central annulus segmentation. Results: The vessel densities of the superficial macrovascular (P = 0.050), superficial microvascular (P < 0.001), superficial total microvascular (P < 0.001), deep total microvascular (P < 0.001), and deep total microvascular (P < 0.001) were significantly lower in the BD group. The conjunctival vessel density was significantly higher in the BD group (P < 0.001). The receiver operating characteristic curve analysis showed that the area under the curve of vessel density of the superior right (0.993, 95% CI 0.980–1) and right zones (0.996, 95% CI 0.987–1) were the largest in the superficial and deep retina, respectively. Otherwise, the area under the curve of conjunctival vessel density was 0.728 (95% CI 0.607–0.848). Conclusions: In patients with BD, retinal vessel density decreases, while conjunctival vessel density increases. Optical coherence tomography angiography provides a new noninvasive and quantitative assessment for retinal and conjunctival vessels. In situ combustion (ISC), an efficient and economical method for enhancing heavy oil recovery in high-pressure, high-viscosity, and thermally challenged reservoirs, relies on the kinetics of crude oil oxidation. Despite an increased focus on kinetic models, there is a gap in understanding how oxidation kinetic parameters impact ISC effectiveness in heavy oil reservoirs. This study addresses this by selecting heavy oil samples from the G Block in the Liaohe oilfield and the M Block in the Huabei oilfield and conducting ramped temperature oxidation (RTO), pressure differential scanning calorimetry (PDSC), and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) experiments. RTO detailed the thermal conversion process, categorizing oxidation into low-temperature oxidation (LTO), fuel deposition (FD), and high-temperature oxidation (HTO) stages. PDSC and TGA provided thermal characteristics and kinetic parameters. The feasibility of fire flooding was evaluated. Using CMG-STARS, an ISC model was established to analyze the impact of kinetic parameter changes. Activation energy significantly affected coke combustion, while the pre-exponential factor had a notable impact on cracking reactions. The recommended values for activation energy and the pre-exponential factor are provided. As a non-precipitation water source, dew is important for plant and animal survival and crop production in arid and water-scarce areas. This study assessed the amount of dew in a dry zone in a long-term (2016 to 2022) field observation experiment at the Ansai Experimental Station, a typical loess hilly area in China. Dew primarily occurred in summer and autumn, with a frequency of >50%. The average annual dew amount was 29.20 mm, with an average annual rainfall of 641.8 mm. The average annual dew-to-rain ratio was 4.58%, and the average annual number of dew days was 143.6 d/a. The surface soil moisture content increased by approximately 1.02% with increasing dew amounts. The change in the soil moisture at a 5 cm depth was 0.14% on average and lagged substantially by 1 h. Using the Beysens model, the annual estimated and measured dew amounts in 2022 were 25.27 and 29.84 mm, respectively, and the annual normalized root mean square deviation (NRMSD) was 0.17. Thus, the Beysens model evaluated the dew amount in the study area well at the monthly and annual scales. The quantification of dew resources can provide support for the development, utilization, and management of limited water resources in arid areas, promoting more accurate decision-making for the sustainable development of water resources in the future. Phase change heat storage presents a promising solution to address challenges related to new energy intermittency and waste heat recovery. However, for it to function as an effective energy hub, heat storage becomes crucial. Among the available options, the direct contact heat accumulator stands out due to its simple structure, substantial heat transfer area, and minimal heat transfer resistance, making it a favorable choice for enhancing energy storage rates. Although a great deal of research has been done on phase change materials and heat accumulators over the years, a systematic review of direct‐contact heat accumulators is lacking. This article reviews the related research on direct contact heat storage, aiming to summarize the research work on direct contact phase change heat storage systems. Various phase change materials (PCMs) for direct contact systems are analyzed, and the study of PCM melting crystallization behavior, heat transfer coefficients and system performance in direct contact systems is summarized, as well as the improvement methods for direct contact vessels and PCMs. It provides a useful reference for future research on direct‐contact heat storage systems. As the internet data centers are mushrooming, the energy consumption and carbon emission of data centers are increasing rapidly. To cut down the electricity cost and carbon emission of the data centers, we proposed an optimization method to reduce the electricity cost and carbon emission in geo-distributed multiple data centers. In the proposed method, the carbon tax is considered in the overall operation cost to optimize the carbon emission. The spatial and temporal flexibility of computational workload is fully utilized by considering the difference in renewable energy power output, local electricity and carbon emission of multiple geo-distributed data centers to achieve a better performance. Furthermore, the nonlinear characteristics of the power loss of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) are considered in the optimization. To verify the proposed optimization method, simulation of six cases is carried out with realistic data, and results have proved the proposed method can reduce the operational costs by 4.93%-12.7% and decrease carbon emissions by up to 10%. Petroleum production forecasting involves the anticipation of fluid production from wells based on historical data. Compared to traditional empirical, statistical, or reservoir simulation-based models, machine learning techniques leverage inherent relationships among historical dynamic data to predict future production. These methods are characterized by readily available parameters, fast computational speeds, high precision, and time–cost advantages, making them widely applicable in oilfield production. In this study, time series forecast models utilizing robust and efficient machine learning techniques are formulated for the prediction of production. We have fused the two-stage data preprocessing methods and the attention mechanism into the temporal convolutional network-gated recurrent unit (TCN-GRU) model. Firstly, the random forest (RF) algorithm is employed to extract key dynamic production features that influence output, serving to reduce data dimensionality and mitigate overfitting. Next, the mode decomposition algorithm, complete ensemble empirical mode decomposition with adaptive noise (CEEMDAN), is introduced. It employs a decomposition–reconstruction approach to segment production data into high-frequency noise components, low-frequency regular components and trend components. These segments are then individually subjected to prediction tasks, facilitating the model's ability to capture more accurate intrinsic relationships among the data. Finally, the TCN-GRU-MA model, which integrates a multi-head attention (MA) mechanism, is utilized for production forecasting. In this model, the TCN module is employed to capture temporal data features, while the attention mechanism assigns varying weights to highlight the most critical influencing factors. The experimental results indicate that the proposed model achieves outstanding predictive performance. Compared to the best-performing comparative model, it exhibits a reduction in RMSE by 3%, MAE by 1.6%, MAPE by 12.7%, and an increase in R2 by 2.6% in Case 1. Similarly, in Case 2, there is a 7.7% decrease in RMSE, 7.7% in MAE, 11.6% in MAPE, and a 4.7% improvement in R2. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

OVATE family proteins (OFPs) are a kind of plant-specific transcription factor, which play important roles in the growth and development of plants. Here, we performed a genome-wide investigation of the OFP gene family members in the wild diploid strawberry (Fragaria vesca, 2n = 14), and analyzed their physical and chemical properties, gene structure, phylogeny, expression patterns, and the subcellular localizations of these genes. Fourteen OFP genes from F.vesca were identified. Collinearity analysis showed ten pairs of collinearity between F. vesca and Arabidopsis. Phylogenetic analysis divided FvOFP genes into five different clades. The expression patterns of the FvOFP genes assayed in different tissues of F. vesca by Reverse Transcription Quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-qPCR) showed that FvOFP1, FvOFP11, FvOFP12, and FvOFP14 were highly expressed in achene and their expression was further verified in the fruits at different developmental stages. Additionally, the subcellular localizations of FvOFP1, FvOFP11, FvOFP12, and FvOFP14 were preliminarily analyzed in tobacco leaves. The results showed clear fluorescent signals in the nucleus. Calcium (Ca2+) is a versatile intracellular second messenger that regulates several signaling pathways involved in growth, development, stress tolerance, and immune response in plants. Autoinhibited Ca2+-ATPases (ACAs) play an important role in the regulation of cellular Ca2+ homeostasis. Here, we systematically analyzed the putative OsACA family members in rice, and according to the phylogenetic tree of OsACAs, OsACA9 was clustered into a separated branch in which its homologous gene in Arabidopsis thaliana was reported to be involved in defense response. When the OsACA9 gene was knocked out by CRISPR/Cas9, significant accumulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) was detected in the mutant lines. Meanwhile, the OsACA9 knock out lines showed enhanced disease resistance to both rice bacterial blight (BB) and bacterial leaf streak (BLS). In addition, compared to the wild-type (WT), the mutant lines displayed an early leaf senescence phenotype, and the agronomy traits of their plant height, panicle length, and grain yield were significantly decreased. Transcriptome analysis by RNA-Seq showed that the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between WT and the Osaca9 mutant were mainly enriched in basal immune pathways and antibacterial metabolite synthesis pathways. Among them, multiple genes related to rice disease resistance, receptor-like cytoplasmic kinases (RLCKs) and cell wall-associated kinases (WAKs) genes were upregulated. Our results suggest that the Ca2+-ATPase OsACA9 may trigger oxidative burst in response to various pathogens and synergically regulate disease resistance and leaf senescence in rice.
