With the rapid deployment of 5G networks in recent years, the characteristics of high bandwidth, low latency, and low energy consumption of 5G networks have enabled the rapid development of IoT (Internet of things) technology. However, 5G networks cannot provide high-quality wireless coverage for many IoT devices in border areas and hotspots with a high signal density that lack fixed infrastructure. Therefore, this paper uses the UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) to carry the communication platform to build the NTN (nonterrestrial network) to provide wireless coverage for terrestrial fixed and mobile IoT devices. Meanwhile, since the NTN needs to provide wireless coverage for many IoT devices, we use deep reinforcement learning to provide path planning for the UAV communication platform to improve the efficiency of wireless coverage. We build a simulation environment to evaluate the performance of the NTN network for wireless coverage of IoT devices in urban hotspot areas. Experimental results show that the method proposed in this paper can provide higher downlink rates for more IoT devices than NB-IoT (narrowband Internet of things). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

As human society develops, the population is growing explosively and water and land resources are gradually being exhausted due to pollution. Smart agriculture is regarded as having an essential role in addressing the above challenges. Smart agriculture can significantly improve the agro-ecological environment and the yield and quality of agricultural products, and it can reduce the usage of pesticides and chemical fertilizers, thus alleviating the pollution of farmland and improving the sustainability of agricultural activities. The key to smart agriculture is in utilizing information and communication technologies to make agricultural cultivation and production automatic and intelligent. Specifically, wireless communications play an active role in the development of agriculture, and every generation of wireless communication technology drives agriculture to a more intelligent stage. In this article, we first review the wireless technologies which have mature applications in agriculture. Moreover, it is of importance to exploit the up-to-date communication technologies to further promote agricultural development. Study Design: Eight cadavers were included in this anatomical study.Objective: This study aimed to confirm the anatomical feasibility of extradural transfer of the contralateral T11 ventral root (VR) to the ipsilateral L2 level and the contralateral L1 VR to the ipsilateral L3 level to restore lower limb function in cases of paraplegia.Summary Of Background Data: Motor dysfunction due to hemiplegia significantly affects the daily life of patients. To date, unlike in cases of upper limb dysfunction, there are few studies on the surgical management of lower limb movement dysfunction.Materials and Methods: Eight cadavers were included in this study to confirm the feasibility of the nerve transfer. After separating the VR and dorsal root at each level, the VRs at the T11 and L1 levels were anastomosed with the VRs of L2 and L3, respectively. The length of the VRs of donor roots and the distance between the donor and recipient nerves were measured. H&E staining was performed to verify the number of axons and the cross-sectional area of the VRs. Lumbar x-rays of 60 healthy adults were used to measure the distance between the donor and recipient nerves.Results: After exposing the bilateral extradural each root, the VRs could be easily isolated from the whole root. The distance between the VRs of T11 and L2, L1, and L3 was significantly longer than the length of the donor nerve. Therefore, the sural nerve was used for grafting. The measurements performed on the lumbar x-rays of the 60 healthy adults confirmed the results. The number of axons and cross-sectional area of the VRs were measured.Conclusion: Our study confirmed the anatomical feasibility of transferring the VRs of T11 to L2 and that of L1 to L3 to restore lower limb function in cases of hemiplegia.Level Of Evidence: 5. Background: Cryoballoon ablation (CBA) is one of the most commonly used technologies designed for pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) for paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (PAF), although the dosing of CBA remains controversial. We evaluated the long‐term efficacy and safety of a novel individualized strategy of CBA compared to radiofrequency ablation (RFA) for patients with PAF. Methods: In this observational study, symptomatic patients with drug‐refractory paroxysmal AF were prospectively consented and enrolled in four centers, being assigned either to the CBA or RFA arm for ablation. In the CBA group, we used a time to isolation (TTI) – based dosing protocol. The primary endpoint was the recurrence of atrial arrhythmia >30 s following a 90‐day blanking period. The secondary endpoint was procedure‐related complications and procedure parameters. Results: A total of 500 patients were recruited in either the CBA group (n = 247) or the RFA group (n = 253) between January 2017 and July 2018. After a median follow‐up of 778 days, the atrial tachyarrhythmia‐free survival was 71.7% in the CBA group and 67.0% in the RFA group. CBA and RFA displayed similar major or minor complication occurrence, while the former had a significantly shorter procedure duration (82.5 min vs. 141.1 min, p <.001) and left atrial dwell time (60.1 min vs. 109.9 min, p <.001) but longer fluoroscopy exposure (13.8 min vs. 8.1 min, p <.001). Conclusion: Compared to RFA, our TTI‐based CBA dosing protocol showed comparable efficacy and safety, with a significantly reduced procedure duration in patients with PAF. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Tripartite motif (TRIM) proteins play a regulatory function in cancer, cell apoptosis and innate immunity. To understand the role of TRIM39 in Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus), TRIM39 cDNA was isolated. The total length of TRIM39 cDNA was 5025 bp. The deduced OnTRIM39 protein contains 549 amino acids and has conserved domains of the TRIM family, which are the RING, B‐box, coiled‐coil and PRY‐SPRY domains. OnTRIM39 mRNA was widely expressed in various tissues. After challenge with Streptococcus agalactiae and stimulation with polyinosinic polycytidylic acid [poly (I:C)] and lipopolysaccharides (LPS), the amount of OnTRIM39 transcript was changed in various tested tissues. OnTRIM39 overexpression increased NF‐κB activity. OnTRIM39 was present in the cytoplasm. Mass spectrometry of proteins pulled down with recombinant OnTRIM39 showed that 250 proteins potentially interact with OnTRIM39. The authors selected I3K4I3 from the 250 candidate proteins to verify its interaction with TRIM39. They also selected I3KL45, a member of the same 14‐3‐3 protein family, to verify its interaction with TRIM39. The results of pull‐down assays showed that OnTRIM39 interacted with both I3K413 and I3KL45. These results contribute to further study of the innate immune mechanism of tilapia. We have previously reported that adenoviral-mediated delivery of cytochrome P-450 (CYP) 4A2, which catalyzes the synthesis of 20-hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acid (20-HETE), results in endothelial dysfunction and hypertension in Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats (Wang JS, Singh H, Zhang F, Ishizuka T, Deng H, Kemp R, Wolin MS, Hintze TH, Abraham NG, Nasjletti A, Laniado-Schwartzman M. Circ Res 98: 962-969, 2006). In this study, we targeted the vascular endothelium by using a lentivirus construct expressing CYP4A2 under the control of the endothelium-specific promoter VE-cadherin (VECAD-4A2) and examined the effect of long-term CYP4A2 overexpression on blood pressure and kidney function in SD rats. A bolus injection of VECAD-4A2 increased blood pressure (P < 0.001) by 26, 36, and 30 mmHg 10, 20, and 30 days postinjection, respectively. Arteries from VECAD-4A2-transduced rats produced increased levels of 20-HETE (P < 0.01), expressed lower levels of endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) and phosphorylated eNOS (p-eNOS) (P < 0.05), generated higher levels of superoxide anion, and displayed decreased relaxing responsiveness to acetylcholine (P < 0.05). Proteinuria increased by twofold in VECAD-4A2-transduced rats compared with controls. Treatment of VECAD-4A2-transduced rats with HET0016, an inhibitor of 20-HETE biosynthesis, not only attenuated the increase in blood pressure (P < 0.05) but also improved vascular function (acetylcholine-induced relaxations) and reduced plasma creatinine and proteinuria. HET0016 treatment decreased oxidative stress and increased the phosphorylated state of key proteins that regulate endothelial function, including eNOS, AKT, and AMPK. Collectively, these findings demonstrate that augmentation of vascular endothelial 20-HETE levels results in hypertension, endothelial dysfunction, and renal injury, which is offset by HET0016 through a reduction in vascular 20-HETE coupled with a lessening of oxidative stress and the amplification of pAKT, pAMPK, and p-eNOS levels leading to normalization of endothelial responses. Although chimeric antigen receptor T (CAR-T) cell therapy has proven to be effective in treating relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (R/R MM), the severity of cytokine release syndrome (CRS) can affect patient survival and the risk factors for CRS remain an intractable issue. We enrolled 54 patients with R/R MM following combined infusion of anti-CD19 and anti-B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) CAR-T cells. The results showed the overall response rate was 94% (51/54) after CAR-T cell infusion, with a 100% incidence of CRS, including 47 patients with grade 1-2 (mild) CRS and 7 patients with grade 3-5 (severe) CRS. In the mild CRS group, the median progression-free survival (PFS) was 18.2 months (95% CI, 6.5 to 30.1) and the median overall survival (OS) was not reached yet. In the severe CRS group, median PFS and median OS were 1.9 months (95% CI, 0.2 to 3.8). Further analysis demonstrated that severe CRS had a shorter median PFS and OS than mild CRS (p =0.029, p =0.020). Bone marrow tumor burden was found to be independently associated with CRS. The grade of CRS was positively correlated with six serum cytokines levels including G-CSF, IL-6, IL-8, IP-10, MIP-1a and RANTES. In conclusion, early detection and management of CRS are imperative for the prevention of life-threatening complications and improvement in the survival of patients of CAR-T cell therapy. Objectives : This study was aimed to investigate the gender-related differences of regional cerebral glucose metabolism in healthy people along the age using 18F-FDG PET/CT. Methods : We recruited 344 healthy volunteers, including 217 males and 127 females (age range: 40–89 years old). All subjects underwent fluorine-18 fluorodeoxyglucose(18F-FDG) positron emission tomography (PET). All the data were divided into four groups for every 10 years old. Each participant was carefully screened from PET, MR, and other examinations in order to exclude the abnormalities, such as neurodegenerative or psychiatric disorders, alcohol/abuse, cerebral vascular disorders, metabolic diseases like diabetes mellitus and hyperthyroidism, and other systemic malignancies. The 40–50 years old group was set as the baseline group. Statistical parametric mapping (SPM) analysis was employed to illustrate the differences among groups. Results : Compared to the baseline group, whether in a cohort or different gender groups, the decrease of brain glucose metabolism was shown in the bilateral frontal lobe, anterior cingulate gyrus, and the bilateral temporal lobe. In males, the regions of decreased metabolism were bilateral frontal lobe, caudate nucleus, and cingulate gyrus, whereas that of females were left occipital lobe, cerebellum, and the thalamus. However, the overall decrease of brain metabolism in men and women began from the age of 60s, an aggravated decrease from 70s was only observed in males. Conclusion : (1) An obviously decreased brain metabolism was found from 60 years old, especially in the bilateral frontal lobe, bilateral temporal lobe, and inferior cingulate gyrus; (2) We found specific brain metabolic differences between genders, including the caudate nucleus region in males and the occipital lobe region in females; and (3) The aging trend is different between genders. Due to the variations of aircraft types, sizes, orientations, and complexity of remote sensing images, it is still difficult to effectively obtain accurate position and type by aircraft detection, which plays an important role in intelligent air transportation and digital battlefield. Current aircraft detection methods often use horizontal detectors, which produce significant redundancy, nesting, and overlap of detection areas and negatively affect the detection performance. To address these difficulties, a framework based on RetinaNet that combines a multi-feature fusion module and a rotating anchors generation mechanism is proposed. Firstly, the multi-feature fusion module mainly realizes feature fusion in two ways. One is to extract multi-scale features by the feature pyramid, and the other is to obtain corner features for each layer of feature map, thereby enriching the feature expression of aircraft. Then, we add a rotating anchor generation mechanism in the middle of the framework to realize the arbitrary orientation detection of aircraft. In the last, the framework connects two sub-networks, one for classifying anchor boxes and the other for regressing anchor boxes to ground-truth aircraft boxes. Compared with state-of-the-art methods by conducting comprehensive experiments on a publicly available dataset to validate the proposed method performance of aircraft detection. Conventional silicon-based transistor downscaling is approaching its physical limits, and thus additional novel solutions are urgently desired to address this issue. Herein, we show that 2-D antimonene with heavy effective mass and high density of state (DOS) via strain engineering presents reliable transistor performance with the channel length (${L}_{\text {ch}}$) shrinking below 5 nm. As the biaxial tensile strain increases to 7%, the band switching gives rise to a heavy hole effective mass of $12.6{m}_{{0}}$ and a Van Hoff singularity-like DOS. This unique electronic structure can effectively suppress the tunneling current, resulting in steep subthreshold swings (SSs) and ideal ON-current (${I}_{ \mathrm{ON}}$). Especially, as ${L}_{\text {ch}}$ downscales to 2.2 nm, the OFF-current can be easily reduced to 0.1 $\mu \text{A}/\mu \text{m}$ with SS of 120 mV/dec (310 mV/dec for pristine antimonene) and ${I}_{ \mathrm{ON}}$ exceeds 900 $\mu \text{A}/\mu \text{m}$ , fulfilling the requirements for high-performance applications.
