In the era of electronic-learning 3.0, existing dimensions related to technologies and learner are not adequately explored while discussing e-learning adoption. In the current study, technology and learner dimensions are converged to overcome this insufficiency in analysing e-learning adoption. Earlier studies have reported less about e-learning adoption in higher education through the users' lens. System parameters and learner attributes were derived from theories of information systems and literature on learning theories. To validate the research model, 704 responses were collected through a questionnaire survey from India, where e-learning is gearing up. The present article utilised Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), which describes the relationship between constructs in the research model. The study identifies technology and learner dimension factors that influence e-learning adoption in developing countries like India. The study also put forward implications and policy recommendations from the findings.

Purpose: This study aims to investigate metaverse elements affecting digital transformation and examine how the metaverses' enabled digital transformation affects Industry 5.0. Design/methodology/approach: This paper adopts intersectional research methodologies to understand how metaverse technologies facilitate digital transformation and contribute to Industry 5.0. The Metaverse literature is bibliometrically analyzed to identify the intersection of digital transformation and components of Industry 5.0. Findings: The conceptualization of the metaverse, its ecosystem and its enabling technologies are consistent with the human-centric, resilient and sustainable vision of the industrial revolution. The findings show that scientific research into digital transformation contributes to refining potential conflicts and tensions that may arise at the intersection of the metaverse and Industry 5.0. Research limitations/implications: Study have significant implications for digital transformation research, as transformation studies help to fine-tune emerging technologies such as the metaverse for the industrial revolution. Based on the findings, the authors have provided a threat model for the Sustainable Metaverse Revolution. Social implications: The utility of metaverse technologies in industrial revolutions necessitates the formulation of business model policies that promote the metaverse-enabled digital transformation. Policy recommendations for integrated development approaches are also provided in this paper. The business world is becoming increasingly complex, disrupted, and uncertain. As Industry 4.0 (I4.0) takes shape, to endure this change and focus on growth, industries must learn to embrace change and move quickly; this is particularly so for the automotive industry, which is a major sector of any economy. Agility is needed to embrace this change and promote sustainability across every industry. To face these contingencies, it is essential to identify and understand the strategies that can aid industries in sustaining real‐time scenarios. In this paper, we aim to assess the agility indicators that bring resilience to the inclusion of I4.0 and sustainability in the automotive sector. The unexpected changes in the environment related to sustainability and technological disruptions of I4.0 require the identification of sustainable agile mitigation strategies to manage such situations. The fuzzy Delphi methodology assesses agility indicators based on a questionnaire for prioritization. Further, the fuzzy technique for order performance by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) is utilized to prioritize these agility indicators with the agility strategies that manufacturing industries can deploy to enhance the sustainability of their operations. The fuzzy extension to the methodologies helps in incorporating vagueness and ambiguity in the decision‐making process. A fuzzy approach to prioritizing agile strategies as the industries are changing is helpful. The decision makers have only a few clear ideas about how best to integrate them. Among the agile strategies, "resilience," "technological capabilities," and "customer‐centric innovation" are the top strategies. By executing the strategies suggested in the study and understanding the agility indicators, practitioners can ensure resilience in the work systems and minimize the impact of the disruptions caused by the industrial revolution. The adoption of emerging technologies in healthcare systems plays a crucial part in anti-obesity initiatives. COVID-19 has intensified the Body Mass Index (BMI) discourses in AI (Artificial Intelligence)-powered social media. However, few studies have reported on the influence of digital content on obesity prevention policies. Understanding the nature and forums of obese metaphors in social media is the first step in policy intervention. The purpose of this paper is to understand the mutual influence between obesity and COVID-19 and determine its policy implications. This paper analyzes the public responses to obesity using Twitter data collected during the COVID-19 pandemic. The emotional nature of tweets is analyzed using the NRC lexicon. The results show that COVID-19 significantly influences perceptions of obesity; this indicates that existing public health policies must be revisited. The study findings delineate prerequisites for obese disease control programs. This study aims to investigate the effect of metaphorical content on e-participation in healthcare. With this objective, the study assesses the awareness and capability of e-participants to navigate through healthcare metaphors during their participation. Healthcare-related e-participation data were collected from the Twitter platform. Data analysis includes (i) awareness measurements by topic modelling and sentiment analysis and (ii) participation abilities by problem-based learning models. Findings show that a lack of effort to validate metaphors harms e-participation levels and awareness, resulting in a problematic health environment. Exploring metaphors in these intricate forums has the potential to enhance service delivery. Most of the countries are heading to Government 3.0 with the advent of information communication technology (ICT). Information integration has to be done with the support of different stakeholders for an effective e-governance ecosystem. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) and high-end processors solved the issues to some extent. But the socio-political intervention is making the government inter-organizational information integration (GIII) difficult when information turns into misinformation. Misinformation in social network sites (SNS) is increasing alarmingly and is also affecting the healthcare sector. The study is focused on the trends in decreasing vaccination rates in India during the vaccination drive. Twitter data, news reports, and social media posts during the MR vaccination program in India are taken into consideration for the analysis. The vaccine hesitancy is also associated with political, religious, psychological, and economic factors. Government 3.0 has got its power to overcome the misinformation in the healthcare programs. Purpose: The purpose of this study were to identify stakeholder perspective for achieving affordable and cost-effective system outcomes and what describes success associated with mHealth systems in India. This study identifies stakeholder views on (a) fundamental conditions for initiating mobile health (mHealth) systems and (b) desirable outcomes regarding affordable and cost-effectiveness of successful mHealth systems. Design/Methodology/Approach: This qualitative study uses existing models of affordability and used an inductive approach to organise emerging codes as per a priori themes. Data were collected from direct observations and 17 in-depth interviews both online and offline involving stakeholder, namely healthcare professionals, technology entrepreneurs and software developers working on health information and mHealth systems. Findings: Findings illustrated people's need and unwillingness, lack of application infrastructure, ecosystem development, governmental policies, and training and support as factors influencing successful mHealth systems in India. Originality/Value: Earlier studies were less adequate in explaining mHealth systems affordability and cost-effectiveness from the perspective of stakeholder. The current study attempts to provide fundamental conditions and desirable outcomes that are considered to be valuable for developing mHealth systems. • This study aims to determine the level of awareness and use of mobile phones for health service delivery by the people of India. • Comparative data analysis has been performed for the data collected from technical and medical staff/professionals including students of these courses. • Result indicates that most of the responses are female and however, respondents have largely used mobile phones for managing menstrual cycles and chronic/lifestyle diseases. • Statistical analysis also showed that there exists a significant difference between awareness levels for using mobile phones for health service delivery. The purpose of this study is to determine the awareness and use of mobile phones and applications for health service delivery among technical students, working staff, medical students, and health professionals of India. A cross-sectional study was conducted with a sample size of 386 students, working staff, and health professionals of engineering and medicine using structured questionnaires and the data were analyzed. Most of the responses are female (50.25%) of age 18–25 (48.44%). However, respondents have used mobile phones for managing menstrual cycles and chronic/lifestyle diseases. Moreover, the degree of awareness and familiarity about the term "mobile health" was found to be more among technical students and working staff (55.17%) than medical students and health professionals (44.82%). Statistical results also revealed that awareness about the use of mobile phone for health-related components was found to be significant except for health awareness and education, and medication adherence and refilling. Further, about mobile health applications use, there exists a significant association between the study groups for the self-management applications of cancer, cholesterol, heart diseases, and stroke. The study recommends to improve peoples' awareness and familiarity about the use of mobile phone for managing health and service delivery. This can be achieved with the help of health professionals as most of the people prefer personal visits than through mobile interventions. Moreover, peoples' socio-demographic factors, perception about the device, and health information also play an important role in using mobile health applications for health service delivery. Purpose – The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of electronization in improving the effectiveness of citizens' democratic participation in the context of e-petitioning. With this aim, the current study worked to ascertain what influences citizens' offline and online petitioning and the extent to which electronization empowers citizens for effective e-petitioning. Design/methodology/approach – The paper uses a case study from Sutharyakeralam meaning "Transparent Keralam" to determine the extent to which e-petitioning worked for protecting a public irrigation canal in Kerala (India). Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with relevant government officials, journalists and petitioners who reside near the canal. Secondary data used for the case analysis consist of petitioners' documents. Using a content analysis, this paper assesses citizens' ability to participate and influence decision making. Findings – Findings illustrate adequate citizen participation before and after the electronization of the grievance redress mechanism. Results also show if there are adequate publicizing facilities, e-petitions can empower citizens to engage effectively in efforts to fight for their human rights. Research limitations/implications – The scope of the study is limited to exploring the determining parameters that may improve democratic participation in an issue of environmental pollution. Results imply that adequate policies to ensure the involvement of participants are essential to enable e-government initiatives to deliver on the ideals of e-democracy for equity and justice. Originality/value – Earlier studies on e-participation were less adequate in explaining the influence of electronization on citizens' capability for effective e-petitioning. The current study attempts to explore the enablers of effective e-petitioning. To investigate factors that influence mobile health technology and application acceptance for health service delivery in India. The paper identifies a technology acceptance model that can be limited to the Indian rural populations. The data is collected from 60 semi-structured interviews with rural populations, including doctors. Contents of these phases were transcribed, and quotes are presented constituting a proposed technology acceptance model. Findings indicate that people in the rural community have mobile phones and are mainly used to communicate by phone calls their relatives, friends, and family members. The study also revealed that a lack of knowledge, mobile literacy, trust, social influence, individual cognitive factors, and technical infrastructure were found to influence mobile phone use for health activities. Triangulating the findings from the literature and interview, the study has identified a set of interrelated acceptance factors that the authors proposed as mobile health technology acceptance model for the rural community of India.
