The presence of Diaphorina citri Kuwayama (Hemiptera: Psyllidae) and Tamarixia radiata (Waterston) (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae) was recorded in citrus crops of Cundinamarca, Colombia. This work is to know the geographic distribution of D. citri and an initial record of the parasitoid T. radiata in citrus producing areas of this department.

Several insect pests are related to the cultivation of conilon coffee, Coffea canephora (Rubiaceae), including (Hemiptera: Coccomorpha). Coccoids damage plants by sucking their sap, producing honeydew, and transmitting viruses. Parasitoids and predators are natural enemies that regulate the insect population and can be used in mealybug biological control. This study aimed to survey scale insects and natural enemies associated with C. canephora in the city of Jaboticabal, São Paulo State, Brazil. Two species of mealybugs from the family Coccidae and three from the family Pseudococcidae were collected in different plant structures. Natural enemies collected comprised hymenopteran parasitoids from the families Aphelinidae, Eulophidae, Encyrtidae, and Perilampidae; predator beetles of the family Coccinellidae; dipterans from the family Cecidomyiidae; and thrips of the family Aeolothripidae. This is the first report of the mealybug species Coccus brasiliensis, Pseudococcus longispinus, and Pseudococcus cryptus; of the parasitoids Coccophagus rusti, Aprostocetus sp., Aenasius advena, Aenasius fusciventris, Aenasius pseudococci, and Perilampus sp.; and of the predators Cycloneda conjugata, Pseudoazya nana, Diadiplosis coccidivora, Diadiplosis sp., and Franklinothrips vespiformis, associated with C. canephora. Knowledge of mealybug species and their respective natural enemies will contribute to biological control strategies in planning the integrated management of mealybugs associated with conilon coffee. Aspects of the natural history of the black widow spider Latrodectus thoracicus (Nicolet, 1849) are poorly known. Psyllaephagus trioziphagus (Howard, 1885) was first observed feeding from Mastigimas anjosi Burckhardt et al., 2011 immatures, with just one parasitoid on each insect. Bactrocera carambolae Drew & Hancock (Diptera: Tephritidae), the carambola fruit fly, is a quarantine pest present in Brazil, restricted to the states of Amapá, Pará, and Roraima. Its dispersion to other regions of the country could cause serious socioeconomic damage. Fruits were collected from urban trees, residential backyards, and small orchards in rural and urban areas of the municipality of Oiapoque, Amapá, Brazil. A total of 240 samples (11,126 fruits; 288.8 kg) of 33 plant species (16 native and 17 introduced species) from 19 families were collected. Bactrocera carambolae was isolated from the fruits of 13 plant species. In addition, specimens of 8 Anastrepha species were collected in this study. Moreover, 5 parasitoid species (Hymenoptera; 3 Braconidae and 2 Figitidae species) associated with Anastrepha spp. were identified. Overall, this study adds 3 new records to the list of host plants for B. carambolae in Brazil (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam.; Moraceae, Passiflora quadrangularis L.; Passifloraceae, and Ziziphus mauritiana Lam.; Rhamnaceae), two of them (A. heterophyllus and P. quadrangularis) new records for South America, and demonstrates new interactions between Anastrepha species and host plants in the extreme north of the state of Amapá. Notably, this is the first report of the figitid species, Aganaspis nordlanderi Wharton, in the state of Amapá. Os frutos foram coletados em árvores urbanas, quintais residenciais e pequenos pomares nas áreas rurais e urbanas do município de Oiapoque, Amapá, Brasil. Um total de 240 amostras (11.126 frutos; 288,8 kg) de 33 espécies vegetais (16 nativas e 17 introduzidas) de 19 famílias foram coletadas. Bactrocera carambolae foi isolada dos frutos de 13 espécies vegetais. Além de B. carambolae, foram coletados neste estudo espécimes de 8 espécies de Anastrepha. Além disso, 5 espécies de parasitoides (Hymenoptera; 3 espécies de Braconidae e 2 de Figitidae) associadas a Anastrepha spp. foram identificadas. The hymenopteran parasitoids of pest species of Tephritidae in Brazil are best known by their most prominent species, members of Braconidae and Figitidae. Species in the less-studied families Diapriidae, Eulophidae and Pteromalidae, which are mostly pupal parasitoids, have been largely neglected and the literature on these groups is sparse and scattered. Therefore, their importance as natural enemies of fruit flies is likely underestimated. Here, we present a parasitoid-host-plant checklist of all diapriids, eulophids and pteromalids that parasitize fruit flies of economic importance in Brazil, namely Anastrepha species and Ceratitis capitata. A compilation of information of the seven species of these parasitoids occurring in Brazil-Coptera haywardi Loiácono and Trichopria anastrephae Lima (Diapriidae), Tetrastichus giffardianus Silvestri (Eulophidae), Pachycrepoideus vindemmiae (Rondani), Spalangia endius Walker, S. gemina Bouček and S. simplex Perkins (Pteromalidae)-including their taxonomic status, general biology, and potential as biocontrol agents, is presented. Additionally, we provide an illustrated key to species, aiming to highlight key morphological features and facilitate identification at species level, stimulating future research on these groups.
