In the intricate network of factors that influence teacher engagement within the classroom, educational aspirations stand as potential critical predictors. These aspirations, which could be defined as the goals and objectives set by educational institutions or by the teachers themselves, could serve as a guiding force, steering the level and quality of engagement teachers display in the class. This essay explores the hypothesis that educational aspirations could indeed be potent predictors of teacher engagement, delineating the pathways through which aspirations mold teachers' dedication, enthusiasm, and proactive involvement in the educational process. Initially, it is fundamental to understand that educational aspirations are a two-pronged entity - encompassing the macro-level aspirations set forth by educational boards and policies, and the micro-level aspirations nurtured by individual teachers for their personal growth and the academic progression of their students. These aspirations, when clearly articulated and aligned, can act as a catalyst, propelling teachers towards higher levels of engagement in class. From one perspective, aspirations can foster engagement by instilling a sense of purpose and direction. When teachers are driven by well-defined goals - be it enhancing student literacy levels, fostering critical thinking skills, or nurturing holistic development - their engagement in class is naturally heightened. They are more likely to invest time and effort in devising innovative teaching strategies, engaging in continuous learning, and fostering an environment that is conducive to achieving these aspirations. Furthermore, educational aspirations often encapsulate the ideals of inclusive and equitable education. Teachers working towards these aspirations are likely to be more engaged, as they strive to create classrooms where every student is given an opportunity to thrive. This inclusive approach not only fosters positive student outcomes but also enriches the teacher's experience, as they find fulfillment and satisfaction in witnessing the growth and development of their students. Moreover, educational aspirations can foster a collaborative spirit among teachers. As they work towards common goals, there is an enhanced sense of community and collaboration. Purpose: Environmental protection has become a national issue as well as international issue in recent years. Creating a sustainable development must be implemented as a reactive plan. A society's health could suffer as a result of rising air pollution brought on by increased energy use. The main goal of this study is to examine the relationship between energy consumption and health problems (such as tracheal, bronchial, and lung cancer, respiratory diseases, the prevalence of undernourishment, and the death ratio due to exposure to both outdoor and household air pollution) for data from 18 Asian countries between 2000 and 2022. Methodology: In a panel-gravity framework for analysing energy consumption, environmental pollution, and health problems among the 20 Asia-based developing countries that were chosen, the generalised method of moments (GMM) is used. Findings: CO2 emissions are observed to have a favourable impact on lung and respiratory illness prevalence in developing Asian countries. The results show that the risk of lung and respiratory disorders is increased by the consumption of fossil fuels. The findings also show how significantly CO2 emissions and fossil fuel use affect the rate of undernourishment and mortality. Additionally, we find that health care spending and gross domestic product per capita may contribute to a decrease in the ratio of deaths and undernourishment. In order to boost developing Asian nations' national health security, the study suggests implementing quick energy transition programmes, enhancing energy efficiency, and lowering energy intensity. Originality: There are tremendous studies on energy consumption and use of sustainable solutions for reducing health impacts including the constructs of GMM but in the times of Covid-19, where it has become mandatory for all nations to use sustainable solutions to attain SDGs for survival of the green planet. The study is original and is an attempt to understand developing nations’ perspective towards usage of sustainable technologies and its effectiveness in creating sustainable environment. Sustainable solutions to overcome the environmental problems are put forth in the research paper. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Slow tourism is looked upon as a means of achieving green & sustainable tourism and is seen as an alternative to mass tourism. It is becoming popular amongst tourists, destination managers and tourism service providers. Slow tourism is an integrative concept that promotes sustainability in all aspects of a travelling journey. Advertisers and tourism service providers are marketing different features of slow tourism. Local Government bodies and state tourism development corporations are also promoting slow tourism through various social media and promotional campaign. The present research tries to explore the perception and preferences of Indian travellers regarding the concept of slow tourism. Methodology: This an exploratory research intending to study the perception and preferences of Indian travellers towards slow tourism. Semi structured interviews of tourists, destination managers and tourism service providers from India will be used to collect the data. Thematic apperception test will be used to evaluate the respondents' patterns of thoughts, emotional responses & attitudes towards slow tourism. Principal of saturation will be used to determine the sample size. Findings/Outcomes/Results: As an outcome of this paper the researchers propose to develop a model framework through which slow tourism can be embedded in the existing tourism practices of tourists, destination managers and tourism service providers. Implication: Through this research the researchers intend to create awareness about slow tourism and help to reduce the increasing environmental threats of fast tourism. It is also proposed to understand the perceived challenges in adapting slow tourism and to provide probable solutions to overcome this perception of the tourist. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
