The article reports on research which was conducted in an effort to investigate the risk of iatrogenic injury during minimally invasive forefoot surgery. Researchers evaluated ten cadaveric feet that underwent the procedure. They found that minimally invasive forefoot surgery was associated with a minimal risk of neurovascular and tendon injury.
