[EN] The global shampoo market size is valued at nearly $30 billion. This, in the environmental context, means billions of tons of wasted water, an incalculable number of other resources used for transport and manufacture, and loads of plastic packaging, of which very little is recycled or even recyclable. That is why the solid shampoo bar might become the ambassador of the circular economy. Moreover, it supports 11 of 17 goals set in the EU 2030 agenda. But despite growing awareness regarding sustainability and the harmful impact of plastics on the environment, solid shampoos still have some major drawbacks. Along with other cons, the storage and transportation issues are the most common ones, together with the fact that the customers do not notice the effects of its use. And this gap is exactly the one that FO/ME would fill ¿ an ergonomic container designed for solid shampoo, making it both easy to use and transport. Providing an improved customer experience to those, who are not yet convinced.
