In this study, the effects of adding glutamate (Glu), glutamine (Gln), aspartate (Asp), and asparagine (Asn) on the flavor formation of Huangjiu were investigated, and the effect of Gln concentration on the quality, microbial community structure, and flavor development of Huangjiu was further explored. Varied Gln concentrations influenced yeast growth, sugar utilization, microbial communities, and quality attributes. Additional Gln promoted yeast cell counts and sugar depletion. It increased the complexity of bacterial co-occurrence networks and reduced the impact of stochastic processes on assembly. Correlation analysis linked microorganisms to flavor compounds. Isolation experiments verified the role of Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Aspergillus chevalieri, Bacillus altitudinis, and Lactobacillus coryniformis in flavor production under Gln conditions. This research elucidated the microbiological mechanisms by which amino acid supplementation, especially Gln, enhances Huangjiu quality by modulating microbial metabolic functions and community dynamics during fermentation. Blade Tip Timing Technology (BTT) is a new type of blade vibration measurement method with non-contact measurement capabilities, which is associated with high efficiency and convenience. However, due to under-sampling feature of the BTT signal, the method can only measure part of the vibration information. Therefore, various BTT spectral reconstruction algorithms have been developed based on the under-sampling feature and sparsity of the blade vibration spectrum. Because of the harsh working environment of the blades, BTT signal typically contains high-level Gaussian noise in actual measurement, which significantly reduces frequency-domain sparsity and even aliases the vibration modals, resulting in a decrease in the performance of sparse reconstruction algorithms. In this paper, a multi-sequences BTT signal noise reduction method is proposed, which is based on sparse representation to suppress Gaussian noise. Through appropriately modifying the constraint in the ℓ0 optimization problem, the method filters out the noise elements in the sparse vector of the BTT signal. Then, denoising is completed by sparse inverse transformation. Finally, a global average-based singular value decomposition dictionary learning algorithm (GA-K-SVD) is proposed to generate an over-complete sparse dictionary which is adaptable to the original signal, to increase the effectiveness of GA-K-SVD. At last, simulation and experience are carried out to verify the performance optimization effect for sparse reconstruction algorithm and the effectiveness of proposed noise reduction method. Structural modal estimation has consistently remained one of the most crucial areas of research in mechanical vibration analysis and signal processing. It is imperative to accurately monitor the vibration signals of rotor blades and their corresponding structural modal parameters. Blade tip timing (BTT) is a promising approach used to measure vibration and monitor the health of blades. However, most existing BTT methods focus on frequency accuracy, neglecting damping, a key physical quantity that represents the strength of the structure. This research focuses on damping modal estimation of blade vibration and proposes a sparse reconstruction algorithm based on a two-dimensional Laplace wavelet family, which addresses the inherent under-sampled problem of BTT technology while enabling estimations of both the structural modal frequency and modal damping of the blades. Firstly, the proposed algorithm is achieved by designing a Laplace wavelet dictionary based on prior information and using a convex optimization objective function with a regularization term. Secondly, Laplace wavelet dictionary matches the signal better than the traditional Fourier dictionary based on the similarity between the damped vibration signal and the Laplace wavelet, then a sparser representation vector can be obtained. Moreover, the research object is not limited to a single blade, but can be easily expanded to multiple stages and multiple rotating blades monitored simultaneously. Different storage conditions can influence microbial community structure and metabolic functions, affecting rice grains' quality. However, the microbiological mechanisms by which different storage conditions affect the quality of rice grains are not yet well understood. This study monitored the quality (the content of starch, protein, etc.) and microbial community structure of rice grains stored under different storage conditions with nitrogen gas atmosphere (RA: normal temperature, horizontal ventilation, RB: normal temperature, vertical ventilation, RC: quasi-low temperature, horizontal ventilation). The results revealed that the rice grains stored under condition RB exhibited significantly lower quality compared to condition RA and RC. In addition, under this condition, the highest relative abundance of Aspergillus (16.0%) and Penicillium (0.4%) and the highest levels of aflatoxin A (3.77 ± 0.07 μg/kg) and ochratoxin B1 (3.19 ± 0.05 μg/kg) were detected, which suggested a higher risk of fungal toxin contamination. Finally, co-occurrence network analysis was performed, and the results revealed that butyl 1,2-benzenedicarboxylate was negatively correlated (p < 0.05) with Moesziomyces and Alternaria. These findings will contribute to the knowledge base of rice storage management and guide the development of effective control measures against undesirable microbial activities. Flutter design is important for the design of new aircraft types, for which flutter tests are an important verification measure. Atmospheric turbulence excitation is a common form of excitation in flutter flight tests. The modal parameter estimation of the turbulence response is a key aspect to ensure accurate data processing of flutter test results. Atmospheric turbulence excitation acts on the structural system, and the turbulence response thus simultaneously contains both the randomness of the excitation signal and the determinism of the structure system. In view of the turbulence response characteristics, this paper addresses the incoherence of atmospheric turbulence excitation and the orthogonality of the frequency domain from a multichannel response. The turbulence response is used to perform modal parameter identification in the frequency domain. The power spectral density matrix can be calculated from the multichannel turbulence response using the periodogram method. Singular value decomposition is then performed on the power spectral density matrix at each spectral pin based on the orthogonality of the frequency domain. The maximum singular value of each spectral pin forms a curve over the entire frequency band, which is the autopower spectral density function of the system, the system is directly identified at the frequency domain using the polynomial fitting in the frequency domain, and the modal parameters (frequency, damping ratio) are calculated according to the fitted transfer function. This paper verifies the theoretical feasibility of the proposed method using simulation data. The engineering applicability is verified based on the turbulence response from the flutter flight test of a certain aircraft type. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

• Optimizing the design and operating of a B-ASHP system is numerically studied. • The operating/design parameters did impact indoor thermal environment. • A surface temperature of around 35 °C was recommended for high energy efficiency. • A higher emissivity was preferred when a lower surface temperature was to be used. Both air source heat pumps (ASHPs) and traditional Chinese-Kangs heating systems are widely used. However, they have their pros and cons. By combining the merits from both an ASHP and a Chinese-Kang heating system, a prototype bed-based ASHP (B-ASHP) system has been proposed, and its operating characteristics experimentally obtained under a fix set of design/operating parameters for the bed-based heating terminal. Therefore, a follow-up numerical study was carried out to numerically evaluate the impacts of optimizing these design/operating parameters, including the location, dimension, surface temperature and surface emissivity of the bed-based heating terminal, on the indoor thermal environment and the operating efficiency of the B-ASHP system. The numerical study results suggested that the variation in these parameters did impact both indoor thermal environment and the operating efficiency of the B-ASHP system, in terms of the uniformity of indoor thermal environment, indoor air velocity distribution and the output heating capacity, as well as the installation space requirement and cost implication. Therefore, care must be exercised in properly balancing all influencing parameters. Also, to both maintain an acceptable indoor thermal environment that can meet the Chinese National Standard, and achieve the best possible operating efficiency of the B-ASHP system, the bed surface temperature of its bed-based heating terminal may be set at around 35 °C. Furthermore, although the changes in surface emissivity did not significantly impact on indoor thermal environment, a higher surface emissivity should be preferred when a lower bed surface temperature was used, so as to further improve potentially the operating efficiency of the B-ASHP system. • A novel bed-based air source heat pump (B-ASHP) system was proposed. • A prototype experimental B-ASHP system was established and tested. • The B-ASHP system can be operated at both nighttime and daytime modes. • Better thermal comfort and bed surface temperature distribution can be achieved. • A number of issues requiring further considerations were identified. Air source heat pumps (ASHPs) have been increasingly used for space heating due to their high energy efficiency and installation flexibility. On the other hand, in many rural areas in northern Chinese provinces, Kangs, a kind of traditional heating systems based on burning biofuels, are still being used for space heating in winter. Based on the pros and cons of both ASHPs and Kang-based heating systems, a novel bed-based ASHP (B-ASHP) system has been proposed to combine the advantages from both an ASHP and a Kang heating system. In this paper, a prototype experimental B-ASHP system was designed and established, and its dynamic and steady-state operating performances tested in four test cases. The test results from the four test cases demonstrated that the prototype experimental B-ASHP system can achieve quicker increases in indoor air temperatures and bed-surface temperatures than Kang-based heating systems. The use of experimental B-ASHP system can lead to a more uniformed vertical indoor air temperature gradient, thus a better occupants' thermal comfort, than the use of a conventional convection-based ASHP system. Furthermore, compared to using a Kang-based heating system, a more uniformed bed surface temperature may be obtained when using a B-ASHP system. Nonetheless, although currently the prototype experimental B-ASHP system can be satisfactorily operated, a number of issues related to the designs of a B-ASHP system such as choices of refrigerant, refrigerant tube layout optimizations, and the use of variable speed compressors for capacity control, should be carefully considered to further improve its operational safety and energy efficiency. Background: N6-methyladenosine (m6A) methylation is involved in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis (AS). Limited studies have examined the role of the m6A methyltransferase METTL5 in AS pathogenesis., Methods: This study subjected the AS dataset to differential analysis and weighted gene co-expression network analysis to identify m6A methylation-associated differentially expressed genes (DEGs). Next, the m6A methylation-related DEGs were subjected to consensus clustering to categorize AS samples into distinct m6A subtypes. Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) analysis was performed to investigate the proportions of each cell type in AS and adjacent healthy tissues and the expression levels of key m6A regulators. The mRNA expression levels of METTL5 in AS and healthy tissues were determined using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) analysis., Results: AS samples were classified into two subtypes based on a five-m6A regulator-based model. scRNA-seq analysis revealed that the proportions of T cells, monocytes, and macrophages in AS tissues were significantly higher than those in healthy tissues. Additionally, the levels of m6A methylation were significantly different between AS and healthy tissues. METTL5 expression was upregulated in macrophages, smooth muscle cells (SMCs), and endothelial cells (ECs). qRT-PCR analysis demonstrated that the METTL5 mRNA level in AS tissues was downregulated when compared with that in healthy tissues., Conclusions: METTL5 is a potential diagnostic marker for AS subtypes. Macrophages, SMCs, and ECs, which exhibit METTL5 upregulation, may modulate AS progression by regulating m6A methylation levels.
