Recycling and remanufacturing logistics network affects the scale and efficiency of sustainable development of the manufacturing industry. This paper designs a multi-level closed-loop supply chain network with supplier, manufacturer, recycling centers, preprocessing centers and processing centers. An improved nonlinear grey Bernoulli-Markov model is developed to predict the recycled quantity. The capacity of recycling center and preprocessing center, the demand of manufacturer and the inventory of preprocessing center are formulated as constraints. A dynamic multi-objective model, which is based on scalable logistics facilities, takes into account the minimization of system operating costs and minimization of time costs related to the out-of-stock and inventory in each operating cycle. This model realizes the dynamic selection of the scale of facilities. Objective weighted genetic algorithm is adopted to transform multi-objective optimization problem into a single-objective. Considering the quality of recycled products, we develop a game model of a multi-level competitive recycling and remanufacturing supply chain with two manufacturers and multiple recyclers. Being focus on two mainstream game models, namely the manufacturer-recycler cooperation game model and the manufacturer-led Stackelberg game model, we explore the connection between optimal pricing decisions and performance levels of the supply chain members. Although researches indicate that the quality of recycled products will not affect the pricing decisions in the forward supply chain, it is positively related to the recycling price, the repurchase price, and the overall profit in the reverse supply chain, and the intensity of competition among manufacturers or recycled products will affect the pricing decisions and the performance levels of the two models. In the manufacturer-led Stackelberg game model, the supply chain does not reach the Pareto optimum, which uses the recycling cost sharing contract to achieve the coordination. Afterwards, the profits of the two manufacturers and multiple recyclers in the supply chain are increased, and the overall profit of the supply chain system is higher than that of the manufacturer-led Stackelberg game model. LiNixCoyMn1−x−yO2 (x ≥ 0.6, NCM) has attracted much attention due to its high specific capacity and energy density. However, capacity attenuation caused by Li+/Ni2+ mixing and structural instability inhibit its development and application. In order to solve these problems, we report a simple method to synthesize NCM cathodes via a one-step Ce4+-doping and CeO2-coating technique, which can reduce the degree of Li+/Ni2+ mixing and improve the structural stability. The Ce4+-doping not only effectively reduces the degree of Li+/Ni2+ mixing, but also enhances the (001) interplanar distance of NCM and improves Li+ diffusion. Furthermore, the CeO2-coating can reduce the direct contact between the NCM particles and electrolyte, which can reduce the harmful interface reaction, thus making the impedance increase more slowly. The Ce4+-doping and CeO2-coating of NCM particles led to a capacity retention of 96.3% at 1C (1C = 280 mA g−1) after 100 cycles. Therefore, the synthesis of NCM cathodes via a one-step Ce4+-doping and CeO2-coating technique is a superb way to improve the electrochemical properties of the NCM cathode in lithium-ion batteries. Inflammation plays an important role in stroke. Many inflammatory markers in peripheral blood are proved to be associated with stroke severity or prognosis. But few comprehensive models or scales to evaluate the severity of stroke have been reported. Systemic immune-inflammation index (SII) and platelet-albumin-bilirubin (PALBI) grade as new markers of inflammation have shown their positive association with liver cancer. The relation between SII, or PALBI and stroke remains uncertain. To investigate the relationship between SII, PALBI grade and stroke severity. Patients with ischemic stroke with hospital admission <24 h after symptom onset were prospectively included in a stroke registry. Demographic, clinical, and laboratory data were collected immediately after admission in all patients. The National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) was used to assess stroke severity upon admission. Minor stroke was defined as NIHSS score < =5, moderate-to-severe stroke as NIHSS score >5. SII, calculated as platelet × neutrophil/lymphocyte was divided into four groups according to interquartile range: lowest SII (SII < 353.9 × 109/L), low SII (353.9–532.8 × 109/L), high SII (532.8–783.9 × 109/L), and highest SII (>783.9 × 109/L) group. A total of 362 patients with ischemic stroke were included, and between minor and moderate-to-severe stroke significant difference was found in SII (p < 0.0001), NLR (p < 0.0001), and PLR (p = 0.001), respectively. After multivariate regression analyses, SII groups (Odd ratio = 1.351, 95% confidence interval 1.084–1.684, p = 0.007) not PALBI was an independent risk factor for stroke severity. Currently, most high-performance tributyltin (TBT)-free antifouling paints contain cuprous oxide (Cu2O) in their formulations, leading to a serious challenge to the marine environment and ecosystem. In this study, non-metal acrylate boron polymers (ABPs) were synthesized using acrylate acid polymers (AAPs) as the backbone and a pyridine-phenyl borane compound as the side chain with hydrolyzable functional groups. The antifouling mechanism of ABPs researched by XPS and EDS indicated that the antifouling performance of ABPs was realized by the hydrolysis of hydrophobic diphenyl borane pyridine side groups. The results of diatom anti-setting test showed that fewer or no algae cells were attached on the surfaces of ABPs with higher contents of hydrophobic diphenyl borane pyridine side groups. The growth rates of algae suspension solutions containing ABPs were close to that of the blank solution without ABPs. Antifouling paints made of ABPs showed excellent antifouling performances in the Yellow Sea of China. Emphasis is placed on the performance of a two-stage pump equipped with an eroded impeller. Non-contact reverse engineering technique is utilized to acquire the point data constituting the three-dimensional geometrical model of the eroded impeller. With computational fluid dynamics, both the operation performance of the pump and flow patterns adjacent to the eroded blade surface are obtained. For comparison, the corresponding undamaged impeller is investigated as well. Preferable fidelity of the approach of constructing geometrical model of the damaged impeller is substantiated. The mechanism underlying performance degradation of the pump with the eroded impeller is evidenced. Local flow patterns near the eroded area are featured by explicit irregularity. A binuclear terbium(III) complex of N- (2-pyridinyl)ketoacetamide (HL) was synthesized and its crystal structure determined. Each terbium(III) binds to one N , O -bidentate HL, one O , O -bidentate L and two N ,μ- O , O -tridentate bridging L ligands; the coordination polyhedron is a distorted square antiprism. The pyridine N and keto O atoms of the binucleating ligand are coordinated to each Tb with the amide O acting as a bridging atom. The adjacent [Tb 2 (HL) 2 L 4 ] 2+ units are bridged by double C(R)NH…ONO 2 …HN(R)C hydrogen bonds to form an infinite 1-D chain, and a 2-D layer structure results from a rare near face-to-face π,π-stacking interaction between the pyridine rings of the adjacent chains. The crystal structure analysis reveals that the ligands completely shield the Ln(III) ions. Excited by the absorption band at 370 nm, the Tb(III) complex displays characteristic metal-centered fluorescence while the ligand fluorescence is completely quenched, showing that efficient ligand-to-metal energy transfer (antenna effect) occurs. Herein, we have reviewed the regulatory role of miR-144/451 in inflammation., Methods: Papers on miR-144, miR-451, and inflammation were retrieved from PubMed and Web of Science to be analysed and summarised., Results: miR-144/451 plays a significant role in modulating inflammatory responses. Pro- and anti-inflammatory gene transcription is regulated by miR-144/451 binding to the 3' untranslated regions. Studies have shown that miR-451 inhibits the activation of various inflammatory cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and T lymphocytes, thereby reducing the release of inflammatory mediators. However, miR-144 expression varies in different inflammatory diseases. miR-144 expression is downregulated in macrophages after induction by lipopolysaccharide, cysteine, or Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which promotes the secretion of inflammatory mediators; nonetheless, miR-144-3p overexpression in macrophages can aggravate atherosclerosis. Objective: Severe pneumonia in children represents a significant clinical challenge due to its high incidence and associated mortality. This study aimed to assess the distribution of pathogens and patterns of infection in pediatric patients with severe pneumonia., Methods: This study included 110 pediatric patients diagnosed with severe pneumonia, who were admitted to Guangxi Maternal and Child Health Hospital between July 2021 and November 2023. Pathogen-targeted next-generation sequencing (tNGS) was employed to identify respiratory pathogens in these cases., Results: Pathogens were detected in 109 out of 110 cases, yielding a positive detection rate of 99.09%. Among these cases, 25 (22.72%) involved single-pathogen infections, while 84 (76.36%) were characterized by mixed infections. The infection pattern in children with severe pneumonia was relatively common with bacterial-viral coinfection (28.2%, 31/110). A total of 39 pathogens were identified from the 110 children with severe pneumonia, with the top three pathogens being Mycoplasma pneumoniae (30.91%, 34/110), Human Respiratory Syncytial Virus Type A (26.36%, 29/110), and Human Herpesvirus (18.18%, 20/110). Notably, 38.2% (13/34) of the cases were found to have macrolide-resistant Mycoplasma pneumoniae (MRMP). Additionally, 40% (44/110) of the children required admission to the intensive care unit (ICU)., Conclusion: The application of tNGS demonstrates significant utility in the detection of pathogens in pediatric patients with severe pneumonia. The predominant pathogens identified in this study are Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Human Respiratory Syncytial Virus, and Human Herpesvirus. Background: Alzheimer's Disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease with insidious onset, which is difficult to be reversed and cured. Therefore, discovering more precise biological information from neuroimaging biomarkers is crucial for accurate and automatic detection of AD., Methods: We innovatively used a Visibility Graph (VG) to construct the time-dependent brain networks as well as functional connectivity network to investigate the underlying dynamics of AD brain based on functional magnetic resonance imaging. There were 32 AD patients and 29 Normal Controls (NCs) from the Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) database. First, the VG method mapped the time series of single brain region into networks. By extracting topological properties of the networks, the most significant features were selected as discriminant features into a supporting vector machine for classification. Furthermore, in order to detect abnormalities of these brain regions in the whole AD brain, functional connectivity among different brain regions was calculated based on the correlation of regional degree sequences., Results: According to the topology abnormalities exploration of local complex networks, we found several abnormal brain regions, including left insular, right posterior cingulate gyrus and other cortical regions. The accuracy of characteristics of the brain regions extracted from local complex networks was 88.52%. Objective: a network meta-analysis was performed to compare the strength and weakness of negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) with ultrasound debridement (UD) as for diabetic foot ulcers (DFU)., Methods: PubMed, Ovid EMBASE, Web of Science, Cochrane library databases, and Chinese Biomedical Literature Database were searched till February 2015. Clinical compared studies of negative pressure wound therapy and ultrasound debridement were enrolled. The primary efficacy outcomes included healed ulcers, reduction of ulcer areas and time to closure. Secondary amputation including major and minor amputations was used to assess the safety profile., Results: Out of 715 studies, 32 were selected which enrolled 2880 diabetic patients. The pooled analysis revealed that NPWT including vacuum assisted closure (VAC) and vacuum sealing drainage (VSD) were as efficacious as ultrasound debridement improving healed ulcers, odds ratio, 0.86; 95% CI 0.28 to 2.6 and 1.2; 95% CI 0.38 to 4, respectively. However, both were better to standard wound care in wound healing patients. Compared with the standard wound care treated diabetic foot ulcers, NPWT and UD resulted in a significantly superior efficacy in time to wound closure and decrement in area of wound. No significances were observed between NPWT and UD groups in both indicators. Fewer patients tended to receive amputation in NPWT and UD groups compared to standard wound care group., Conclusions: The results of the network meta-analysis indicated that negative pressure wound therapy was similar to ultrasound debridement for diabetic foot ulcers, but better than standard wound care both in efficacy and safety profile.
