In this paper, we track the motion of multiple targets in sports videos by a machine learning algorithm and study its tracking technique in depth. In terms of moving target detection, the traditional detection algorithms are analysed theoretically as well as implemented algorithmically, based on which a fusion algorithm of four interframe difference method and background averaging method is proposed for the shortcomings of interframe difference method and background difference method. The fusion algorithm uses the learning rate to update the background in real time and combines morphological processing to correct the foreground, which can effectively cope with the slow change of the background. According to the requirements of real time, accuracy, and occupying less video memory space in intelligent video surveillance systems, this paper improves the streamlined version of the algorithm. The experimental results show that the improved multitarget tracking algorithm effectively improves the Kalman filter-based algorithm to meet the real-time and accuracy requirements in intelligent video surveillance scenarios.

Nuclear structural material austenitic stainless steel 316L is a polycrystalline composed of single crystals with a face-centered cubic (FCC) structure, and the intergranular stress corrosion cracking (IGSCC) is closely related to the crystal orientation. A constitutive model is presented to assess the elastic response of anisotropic behavior of single crystals in 316L in this study. With a bicrystal model built by the finite element method, the effects of crystal orientation and grain boundary (GB) inclination on the stress state nearby a symmetric tilt GB were discussed under the constant-displacement condition. The results indicate that when tensile axes are perpendicular to the GB, the stress and strain are equal at the GB and inside the grain, and the crystal misorientation has little effects on the stress and strain distribution. If the GB is not perpendicular to the load direction, the GB inclination angle will change the equivalent elastic modulus along the load direction and result in a larger stress in the grain with larger equivalent elastic modulus, but the stress tends to be equal inside the two grains. The grain size effects verification shows that the conclusions are independent of grain size.

The stress and strain status associated with the material properties is one of the main factors affecting stress corrosion cracking (SCC) of structural components in nuclear power plants (NPPs). In many SCC prediction models, the stress intensity factor calculated with homogeneous materials is used to characterize the crack tip stress state. However, the mechanical and material properties in weld joints are heterogeneous, which will produce the discontinuous distribution of stress and strain nearby crack tip and affect the crack propagation. To understand the material mechanical heterogeneity effects on interface crack propagation, the specimens with ultimate tensile strength mismatch and elastic modulus mismatch were studied by using an extended finite element method (XFEM). The results indicate that the interface crack extension is easy to occur in the specimens with larger ultimate tensile strength mismatch, while the elastic modulus mismatch has little effects on crack extension. The different interface cracks in the dissimilar metal weld joints of the reactor pressure vessel used in NPPs tend to deviate from the initial direction into alloy 182, and the interface crack propagation path fluctuation is small.

The stress state at the crack tip of structural components in nuclear power plants used in the SCC quantitative prediction models is based on the assumption that the polycrystalline material is isotropic and homogeneous at present. However, the crystals in polycrystalline materials are anisotropic with different orientations, which would induce a nonuniform stress to cause the initiation and propagation of SCC. By using a finite element method, the elastic responses of anisotropic behaviors of austenitic stainless steel bicrystals are studied. The results indicate that the stress distribution near GBs depends strongly on the crystal orientation. A larger Mises stress concentration exists on the GB with larger stiffness along the load direction. The Mises stress difference is higher in the bicrystal with bigger elastic modulus difference of two neighboring grains along the tensile axis. In the bicrystal with GB perpendicular to the tensile axis, the grain orientation has little effects on the Mises stress far from the GB in both grains. The strain inconsistency in bicrystals is affected by the mismatch of two neighboring grains. The larger the elastic modulus differences between two neighboring grains caused by misorientation, the larger the strain inconsistency in the bicrystal.

Aim: To assess the efficacy and safety of in vivo electroporation (EP)-mediated dual-plasmid hepatitis B virus (HBV) DNA vaccine vs placebo for sequential combination therapy with lamivudine (LAM) in patients with chronic hepatitis B., Methods: Two hundred and twenty-five patients were randomized to receive either LAM + vaccine (vaccine group, n = 109) or LAM + placebo (control group, n = 116). LAM treatment lasted 72 wk. Patients received the DNA vaccine or placebo by intramuscular injection mediated by EP at weeks 12 (start of treatment with vaccine or placebo, SOT), 16, 24, and 36 (end of treatment with vaccine or placebo, EOT)., Results: In the modified intent-to-treat population, more patients had a decrease in HBV DNA > 2 log 10 IU/mL in the vaccine group at week 12 after EOT compared with the control group. A trend toward a difference in the number of patients with undetectable HBV DNA at week 28 after EOT was obtained. Adverse events were similar. In the dynamic per-protocol set, which excluded adefovir (ADV) add-on cases at each time point instantly after ADV administration due to LAM antiviral failure, more patients had a decrease in HBV DNA > 2 log 10 IU/mL in the vaccine group at week 12 and 28 after EOT compared with the control group. More patients with undetectable HBV DNA at week 28 after EOT in the vaccine group were also observed. Among patients with a viral load < 1000 copies/mL at week 12, more patients achieved HBeAg seroconversion in the vaccine group than among controls at week 36 after EOT, as well as less virological breakthrough and YMDD mutations., Conclusion: The primary endpoint was not achieved using the HBV DNA vaccine.
