Our aim was to develop a new class of bi starlike functions by utilizing the concept of subordination, driven by the idea of multiplicative calculus, specifically multiplicative derivatives. Several restrictions were imposed, which were indeed strict constraints, because we have tried to work within the current framework or the design of analytic functions. To make the study more versatile, we redefined our new class of function with Miller-Ross Poisson distribution (MRPD), in order to increase the study's adaptability. We derived the first coefficient estimates and Fekete-Szegő inequalities for functions in this new class. To demonstrate the characteristics, we have provided a few examples. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The main object of this paper is to study Fekete-Szegö problem for a certain subclass of p - valent analytic functions. Fekete-Szegö inequality of several classes are obtained as special cases from our results. Applications of the result are also obtained on the class defined by convolution.

In this article, using the principle of subordination we introduce a new class of F-like functions associated with a vertical strip domain and provided some interesting deviations or adaptation which are helpful in unification and extension of various studies of analytic functions. Furthermore, we illustrated the impact of vertical strip domain on various conic region. Inclusion relations, geometrical interpretation, coefficient estimates, inverse function coefficient estimates and solution to the Fekete-Szego problem of the defined class are discussed. In this paper, we introduce and study a new subclass of starlike functions with respect to (2 ȷ , ℓ) -symmetric conjugate points using the principle of subordination. Several relationship with the well-known classes have been established. We have focussed on conic regions when it pertained to applications of our main results. Inclusion results, subordination property and coefficient inequality of the defined class are the main results of this paper. In this paper, we obtain the coefficient inequalities for functions in certain subclasses of Janowski starlike functions of complex order which are related starlike functions associated with a hyperbolic domain. We introduce and we study the classes ST q (g; λ; γ; α; β) and KVq (g; λ; γ; α; β) of analytic functions which are defined by making use of the q-derivative operator. Introduction The success of surgical procedures is becoming more threatened by the advent of multi-drug resistant (MDR) bacterial strains, sometimes known as superbugs. These resistant microorganisms frequently cause post-surgical infections, which raise morbidity, death, and medical expenses. With an emphasis on resistant strains, this seeks to create an antibiogram and a thorough microbiological profile of surgical infections in order to help choose the most effective antimicrobial therapy. The outcomes will lessen the effects of resistant microbial superbugs in surgical settings, optimize the use of antibiotics in turn, and improve infection control techniques. Objectives To identify and isolate the bacterial microbes that trigger post-surgical infections in patients. To determine the antibiotic resistance profiles of these bacterial isolates. To construct a local antibiogram for post-surgical infections, aiding in the appropriate selection of antibiotics. Method A prospective cross-sectional study was carried out in Government General Hospital, Nellore. Based on the sample size, 738 patients were taken. Patients were recruited based on eligibility criteria. A questionnaire was prepared, and details were collected. Gram-staining techniques were used to identify organisms. Biochemical tests were done to confirm the bacteria. Culture sensitivity tests were carried out by disk diffusion method to know the zone of inhibition. A structured antibiogram was developed. Results Of the 738 patients, 324 were found to have Surgical Site Infections (SSI). One-hundredand seventy two females were prone to SSI, which is a high number. Three-hudred and thirty eight organisms were identified among 324 SSI patients, mostly comprised of staphylococcus (28.6%) followed by Escherichia coli ( E.coli ) (21.3%). The gynecology department comprises more SSI followed by surgical (31.7%). Cephalosporins are commonly used antibiotics before and after surgery. It is found to be resistant to most organisms, whereas Gentamicin is found to be sensitive. Discussion It was evident that the more contaminated the wounds being operated on, the higher the SSI. Compared to scheduled elective surgeries, the infection rate for emergency procedures was nearly twice as high. There was no bacterial growth in 404 patients out of 738. Conclusion This study emphasizes the increasing difficulty in treating surgical infections caused by antibiotic-resistant organisms and the urgent need for accurate, data-driven methods of infection management. It is advised to employ an antibiogram to reduce the spread of resistant organisms because a significant percentage of samples are resistant to the most commonly used medications. A cross-sectional study on five organized pig farms was conducted to assess the faecal carriage of ESBL and blaNDM carbapenemase-producing E. coli in piglets and pig farmworkers. Faecal samples from piglets (n = 155) and pig farmworkers (n = 21) were processed for isolation and characterization of E. coli. A total of 124 E. coli isolates from piglets and 21 E. coli isolates pig farmworkers were recovered and screening for ESBL production showed that 44.4 % (55/124) of the isolates from piglets and 42.9 % (9/21) of the isolates from farmworkers were ESBL positive. The ESBL positive isolates from piglets and farmworkers harbored blaCTX-M and also co-harbored other beta-lactams, sulphonamide, quinolone and tetracycline resistance genes. Diarrhoeic (50%, 49/98) and crossbred piglets (52.7%, 39/74) harbored a significantly higher number of ESBL producing isolates than non-diarrhoeic (23.1 %, 6/26) and purebred piglets (32%, 16/50) (p < 0.05). Piglets and pig farmworkers harbored nine and two carbapenem-resistant isolates, respectively. Interestingly, two isolates from piglets and one isolate from farmworkers harbored the blaNDM gene. The blaNDM positive E. coli isolated from piglets and farmworkers of the same farm revealed similar antibacterial resistance patterns, resistant genes, sequence (ST-167) and plasmid type (IncX3). In India, carbapenems are not used in food animal treatment, hence carbapenem resistant E. coli in piglets possibly originated from the human contact or common environment and is of public health importance., (Copyright © 2020 Elsevier Ltd.
