The success of treatment of acute leukemia in children isdetermined by the biological type of the disdorder, the volumeof the tumor mass, extramedullary manifestations and toxiccomplications resulting from chemotherapy. Analysis of riskfactors, clinical data and neuroimaging may help to clarify thecause of the pathology of the central nervous system and to selectthe optimal method of treatment.
