Comprehensive Summary We present a facile synthetic strategy to create mesoporous Cu2O nanocrystals with tunable pore structures and surface functional groups of amine derivatives for efficient and preferable electrochemical conversion of CO2 into ethylene. The structural characteristics of these Cu2O nanocrystals can be manipulated using a set of amine derivatives, such as pyridine, 4,4'‐bipyridine, and hexamethylenetetramine, during the oxidative etching process of Cu nanocrystals by bubbling gaseous oxygen in N,N‐dimethylformamide solution. These amine derivatives not only serve as surface functional groups but also significantly affect the resulting pore structures. The synergistic effect of pore structure confinement and surface amine functionalization leads to the superb Faradaic efficiency (FE) of 51.9% for C2H4, respectively, together with the C2H4 partial current density of –209.4 mA·cm−2 at –0.8 V vs. reversible hydrogen electrode (RHE). The relatively high selectivity towards C2H4 was investigated using DFT simulations, where 4,4'‐bipyridine functionalized Cu2O seemed to favor the C2H4 formation with the low free energy of the intermediates. This study provides a feasible strategy to manipulate the pore structure and surface functionalization of mesoporous Cu2O nanocrystals by regulating the oxidative etching process, which sheds light on the rational preparation of high‐performance CO2RR electrocatalysts. This study examines how platforms within sharing economy-based service triads (SESTs) can improve their social capital through information processing and knowledge management mechanisms, with the objective to provide better platform services to both service suppliers and end customers. Data were collected through multiple case studies, primarily relying on insight gathered from 32 semi-structured interviews with managers from four sharing economy platform companies in the Chinese ride-sharing (DiDi and Uber China) and logistics-sharing (Huo-che-bang and Yun-man-man) industries. Through our analysis we uncover uncertainties faced by sharing economy platforms in SETSs (including task complexity, over-competition, and task coordination), delineating their information processing requirements. Based on our findings we suggest that these requirements can be addressed by enhanced intra-organizational structures that would contribute to the SESTs' information processing capacity. Accomplishing this fit between a platform's information processing requirements and associated information processing capacity carries great promise to not only affect the platform's knowledge management capability (PKMC) but also the social capital created within SESTs. BACKGROUND: Anastatus japonicus Ashmead, a biological control agent utilized in China to control fruit bugs and forest caterpillars, is efficiently raised on large Chinese oak silkworm (Antheraea pernyi) eggs. Here, we investigated the biological parameters of non‐diapaused and diapaused Anastatus japonicus after long‐term storage within eggs of the host, Antheraea pernyi, under laboratory conditions. RESULTS: Diapaused mature larvae of Anastatus japonicus were more cold‐tolerant than non‐diapaused mature larvae, as reflected by a lower supercoiling point, lower freezing point, and higher survival rate at cold temperatures. Diapause induction enhanced the lifespan, fecundity and oviposition period of Anastatus japonicus than non‐diapaused Anastatus japonicus when refrigerated for 6 months. However, after 12 months of refrigeration, the fecundity and oviposition period of Anastatus japonicus were significantly reduced with and without diapause. No difference in the progeny sex ratio of Anastatus japonicus was observed between diapause‐induction treatment and those of non‐diapaused. With the extension of refrigeration period from 6 months to 12 months, the lifespan, fecundity and oviposition period of Anastatus japonicus which were treated with diapause induction showed a sharp decrease. No significantly difference in the lifespan, fecundity and oviposition period of Anastatus japonicus was observed between diapause‐induction treatment and those of non‐diapaused when refrigerated for 12 months. CONCLUSION: These results suggest that the induction of diapause is an applicable technique to achieve mass production of Anastatus japonicus in long‐term storage using eggs of the factitious host Antheraea pernyi, without compromising the quality of the parasitoid.
