The issue of international trade is undoubtedly one of the most important foundations of the contemporary processes of internationalization and globalization. However, before they appeared, other events had to take place, the cumulative effects of which led to the formation of today's structure of the world economy understood as a specific system of connections between the main actors of international economic relations, i.e. international organizations, states and enterprises/corporations. It is worth, therefore, before proceeding with the analysis of current problems, to make a synthetic indication of the most important issues from modern economic history relating to the issues of international trade. Man as a farming being, motivated to act by his needs, constantly strives to satisfy them. Streszczenie Problematyka handlu międzynarodowego jest jednym z najważniejszych fundamentów współczesnych procesów internacjonalizacji i globalizacji gospodarki światowej. Zanim jednak one się pojawiły, musiały nastąpić inne zdarzenia, których skumulowane skutki doprowadziły do ukształtowania się dzisiejszej struktury gospodarki światowej rozumianej jako specyficzny system powiązań pomiędzy głównymi aktorami międzynarodowych stosunków gospodarczych, tj. organizacjami międzynarodowymi, państwami oraz korporacjami. Warto zatem syntetycznego wskazania najważniejszych zagadnień współczesnej historii gospodarczej, odnoszących się do problematyki handlu międzynarodowego. W artykule wykorzystano analityczne i syntetyczne metody badawcze.

Innowacje są niewątpliwie jedną z głównych sił napędowych wzrostu gospodarczego. Zdolność do kreowania i implementowania rozwiązań innowacyjnych jest aktualnie podstawowym miernikiem sprawności funkcjonowania przedsiębiorstwa na rynku. Celem artykułu było zidentyfikowanie kluczowych czynników wewnątrz organizacji w największym stopniu sprzyjających ich innowacyjności oraz elastyczności. Badaniem objęto 620 respondentów z różnych małych i mikroprzedsiębiorstw. W trakcie badań przeprowadzono następujące prace: deskresearch, indywidualny wywiad pogłębiony oraz badania ankietowe. Na podstawie uzyskanych wyników stwierdzono, że większość ankietowanych członków organizacji dostrzega ścisłą zależność pomiędzy innowacyjnością a kreatywnością. Badani menedżerowie doceniają wspólnotę norm, wartości oraz wzorców zachowań w organizacji jako istotny czynnik innowacyjności. Autorzy uważają, że przeprowadzone badania mogą urozmaicić i wzbogacić literaturę dotyczącą innowacji i adaptowania, wdrażania, a także stymulować współpracę organizacji w zakresie wdrażania innowacji.

The lifespan prediction of the bus body of the load-bearing structure has been made and compared to the results of real operation. The maximum approximation of the simulation modelling results in Matlab Simulink to real operation is explained by taking into account a sufficient number of factors influencing durability. This research has the particularity that it allows determining the durability of the bus body even at the design stage, which was not possible with accelerated tests or during the operation of the bus on real routes. The obtained results can be used by bus manufacturers at the design stage, allowing them to change the construction and technology of anticorrosion protection, thereby influencing the durability. In addition, operating organizations will be interested in the obtained results when using the developed methodology in various operating conditions.

Today’s company has to operate in a turbulent market environment, where the policy of sustainable development is still gaining importance. Therefore, it has been forced to look for a strategic orientation that would allow it to face the growing demands of the changing reality. Each organization must therefore adapt to the changes in the environment. These changes include the need to implement sustainable energy usage practices. This article presents determinants that build such an attitude in a company and thus contribute to the sustainable development of the organization. This article is based on the results of an empirical study conducted in December 2021 on a sample of 690 respondents (later, due to the purpose of the study, the sample was narrowed to 578 working people) using a survey questionnaire. A structural model was estimated using the maximum likelihood method. It allowed us to determine the variables that influence the degree to which companies use energy saving practices, as well as to illustrate the strength of influence between endogenous variables. Establishing these relationships will allow us to determine the factors that are determinants of the implementation of the idea of sustainable development in the company.

The growing demand for energy is accelerating the process of consuming non-renewable energy sources, so special attention should be paid to the development of renewable energy as the energy obtained from renewable energy sources (RES) will reduce the consumption of primary raw materials and reduce emissions of harmful substances entering the atmosphere. The aim of this article is thus to investigate the attitude of Polish consumers towards renewable energy sources and to discover the relationship between the level of awareness and other factors such as age and education. The results of the research revealed that there was a correlation between the age and level of education of the respondents and their willingness to consider the issues related to renewable energy sources and implement solutions in their households that take into account the consumption of natural energy sources (p-value of the significance test for age is 0.0001227, and p-values of independence test for the level of education are 0.00013). The discovery of such correlations will allow knowing in which direction the efforts should be intensified in order to reach the largest part of society.

The article is a literature review and concerns the issue of tendencies of changes noticed in market behaviours of both healthy and physically disabled consumers. It is essential to notice that the way of making decisions and making choices is possibly a result of growing consumer awareness of disabled people but also generation changes undergoing on the market. Such generation changes are resulting in modifications both in a system of values and in the way that market participants communicate. Additionally, continuous globalization and digitization determining the process of consumer behaviours are also important. Internet is more frequently chosen as an alternative method of a barrier-free cybernetic communication channel where consumers from different groups can interact in the marketplace. A medical condition of a customer is becoming completely irrelevant and extraneous as the interactivity and dynamics of market changes let everyone adjust the market offer to own requirements and wants. Globalization means that customers with motor disorders are no longer limited to local communities and therefore the interest of young disabled consumers in virtual communities is growing.

Artykuł ma na celu przedstawienie zauważonych zmian w zachowaniach rynkowych konsumentów niepełnosprawnych ruchowo. W grę wchodzi tu sposób podejmowania decyzji i dokonywania wyborów, będący wypadkową po pierwsze rosnącej świadomości osób niepełnosprawnych, pod drugie dużych zmian pokoleniowych na rynku. Zmiany pokoleniowe pociągają za sobą znaczące przeobrażania w systemie wartości oraz w sposobie komunikowania się uczestników rynku. Nie bez znaczenia pozostają również czynniki decydujące o przebiegu zachowania konsumentów, z których najbardziej kluczowymi mogą być procesy globalizacji i kultury konsumpcjonizmu oraz postępująca digitalizacja wszystkich aspektów codziennej egzystencji – bez względu na stan zdrowia.
