Worldwide, the syndromes of paraganglioma (PGL), somatostatinoma (SOM) and early childhood polycythemia are described in only a few patients with somatic mutations in the hypoxia-inducible factor 2 alpha (HIF2A). This study provides detailed information about the clinical aspects and course of 7 patients with this syndrome and brings into perspective these experiences with the pertinent literature. Six females and one male presented at a median age of 28 years (range 11–46). Two were found to have HIF2A somatic mosaicism. No relatives were affected. All patients were diagnosed with polycythemia before age 8 and before PGL/SOM developed. PGLs were found at a median age of 17 years (range 8–38) and SOMs at 29 years (range 22–38). PGLs were multiple, recurrent and metastatic in 100, 100 and 29% of all cases, and SOMs in 40, 40 and 60%, respectively. All PGLs were primarily norepinephrine-producing. All patients had abnormal ophthalmologic findings and those with SOMs had gallbladder disease. Computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging revealed cystic lesions at multiple sites and hemangiomas in 4 patients (57%), previously thought to be pathognomonic for von Hippel–Lindau disease. The most accurate radiopharmaceutical to detect PGL appeared to be [18F]-fluorodihydroxyphenylalanine ([18F]-FDOPA). Therefore, [18F]-FDOPA PET/CT, not [68Ga]-(DOTA)-[Tyr3]-octreotate ([68Ga]-DOTATATE) PET/CT is recommended for tumor localization and aftercare in this syndrome. The long-term prognosis of the syndrome is unknown. However, to date no deaths occurred after 6 years follow-up. Introduction: Seizures are the most common initial symptom in patients with low-grade glioma and their occurrence strongly depends on the tumor location. The majority of low-grade gliomas reveal mutations in the genes encoding isocitrate-dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1) or 2 (IDH2). These mutations are associated with metabolic changes that are potentially epileptogenic. We investigated the correlation between IDH1/2 mutations and tumor localization and seizure as the initial symptom.Materials and Methods: This retrospective study included patients with a diagnosis of WHO grade II astrocytoma and cortical infiltration and in whom initial symptoms were documented and biopsy tissue was available for IDH1/2 analysis. IDH1/2 mutation analysis was performed by direct sequencing or by immunohistochemistry with an antibody which detects mutated protein IDH1 R132H. Sequencing was carried out if immunohistochemistry was negative. IDH1/2 status was defined as mutated if either of these investigations were positive.Results: Seventy-nine patients were included. IDH1 or IDH2 mutation was present in 63 (80%) patients who on average were younger than patients without IDH1/2 mutation (40 vs. 47 years, p=0.0331, t-test). IDH1/2 mutations were associated with frontal tumor location (p=0.0202). All 12 tumors in the insula revealed IDH1/2 mutations. Seizure as the initial symptom was recorded in 57 (72%) patients and was associated with IDH1 or IDH2 mutation by multivariate analysis (OR 22.563, p=0.0019).Conclusion: In WHO grade II astrocytomas, IDH1/2 mutations mostly occur in tumors infiltrating the frontal lobe. The article presents a study which evaluates a screening program for diabetic retinopathy in a community health center serving low-income patients in northern Colorado using single-field nonmydratic retinal photography and primary care clinicians trained to read photographic images. It assesses primary care clinicians' accuracy in reading the single-image retinal photographs and in correctly determining which patients need referral.

Aims: To determine whether the dissociation of tumour cells from neoplastic glands in colorectal carcinomas is caused by disruption of the wnt-signalling pathway and whether the adenomatous polyposis coli (APC) protein is implicated in this. Methods and results: In a series of 99 clinically sporadic colorectal carcinomas, APC exon 15 mutations, loss of heterozygosity (LOH) and promoter methylation were found in 49, 20 and 23 cases, respectively. Singly, these APC aberrations were not associated with the degree of tumour cell dissociation, but dissociation was higher for the cases with combined APC mutation and LOH. Immunohistochemical β-catenin translocation to the nucleus correlated with APC aberrations. Tumour growth pattern (expansive/infiltrative/diffuse) and tumour stroma (desmoplastic common-type versus keloid-like) showed a statistically significant association with tumour cell dissociation and with β-catenin translocation. Of other molecular alterations tested ( p53 mutation; LOH at 17p13, 18q, 9p21; CpG island methylator phenotype), only the highly microsatellite unstable status ( n = 11) was negatively associated. Conclusions: In colorectal carcinomas, wnt dysregulation relates to APC aberrations, but wnt dysregulation and APC aberrations are not strictly required for tumour cell dissociation, and additional and/or alternative factors must play a role. The aim of this study was to investigate the efficacy and safety of chemoradiation using capecitabine and irinotecan as neoadjuvant therapy for patients with rectal cancer. Conventional radiation was given at daily fractions of 1.8 Gy on 5 days a week for a total dose of 55.8 (50.4 + 5.4) Gy. Concurrently, irinotecan 40 mg m(-2) once weekly and capecitabine continuously at dose levels of 500, 650, 750 and 825 mg m(-2) twice daily were administered. Surgery was performed 4-6 weeks following completion of chemoradiation. A total of 28 patients (3 UICC II, 25 UICC III) were enrolled and all received treatment. Dose-limiting toxicity was diarrhoea grade IV and hand-foot syndrome at the 825 mg m(-2) dose level. The maximum tolerated dose of capecitabine was 750 mg m(-2). Diarrhoea was the most common toxicity: grade III in nine patients. Two patients died, one due to pneumonia and one due to sudden cardiac death. A complete response and only microfocal residual tumour disease was achieved in four and three patients (27%). In all, 25 of 28 patients undergoing surgery, 24 (96%) had R0 resection. Preoperative chemoradiation based on continuous daily capecitabine and weekly irinotecan appears to tolerated and effective in patients with rectal cancer. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study aimed to evaluate the feasibility and efficacy of neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy intensified with irinotecan in patients with locally advanced rectal cancer. Eligible patients had nonmetastatic disease at a locally advanced stage that made R0 resection and sphincter preservation uncertain. They received preoperative radiation over 6 weeks to 45 Gy and boost of 5.4 Gy and concurrent continuous infusion 5-fluorouracil 250 mg m(-2) day(-1) and weekly irinotecan 40 mg m(-2). In all, 37 patients entered the study. T stage at baseline as determined by ultrasound was T2/T3/T4 in 2/19/16 patients; 31 patients had lymph node involvement. The predominant toxicity was diarrhoea (grade 3/4 in 10/2 patients). Haematologic toxicity and surgical complications were moderate. Among 36 patients undergoing surgery, 32 (89%) had R0 resection and 23 (64%) sphincter preservation. Pathologic complete response (pCR) was achieved in eight (22%) of 36 patients, and 10 patients (28%) had only microscopic residual disease. At 4 years, overall survival was 66%, disease-free survival 73%, local relapse rate 7%, and distant failure rate 24%. Extent of resection and postoperative nodal status were significant predictors of overall and disease-free survival. The article presents a case study of a 46-year-old woman with an incidental, highly eloquently located cerebral lesion of high-FET uptake that prompted a stereotactic biopsy of a capillary telangiectasia (CTA). It discusses results of her cerebral magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), stereotactic biopsy, and histological examination. The patient was diagnosed of CTA, a sporadic lesion.

The article discusses the case of a 41-year-old woman presented with headache, tinnitus and bilateral panuveities with multiple serous retinal detachments. Following treatment with oral prednisone, the inflammation and serous detachments subsided. Two weeks later, the patient developed large retinal pigment epithelium tears (RPE) due to Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada (VKH) disease, an inflammatory disorder of the choroid. A discussion of the symptoms and diagnosis of the VKH disease is also provided.

Background: Molecular heterogeneity of colorectal carcinoma (CRC) is well recognized, forming the rationale for molecular tests required before administration of some of the novel targeted therapies that now are rapidly entering the clinics. For clinical research at least, but possibly even for future individualized tumor treatment on a routine basis, propagation of patients' CRC tissue may be highly desirable for detailed molecular, biochemical or functional analyses. However, complex logistics requiring close liaison between surgery, pathology, laboratory researchers and animal care facilities are a major drawback in this. We here describe and evaluate a very simple cryopreservation procedure for colorectal carcinoma tissue prior to xenografting that will considerably reduce this logistic complexity.Methods: Fourty-eight CRC collected ad hoc were xenografted subcutaneously into immunodeficient mice either fresh from surgery (N = 23) or after cryopreservation (N = 31; up to 643 days).Results: Take rates after cryopreservation were satisfactory (71%) though somewhat lower than with tumor tissues fresh from surgery (74%), but this difference was not statistically significant. Re-transplantation of cryopreserved established xenografts (N = 11) was always successful. Of note, in this series, all of the major molecular types of CRC were xenografted successfully, even after cryopreservation.Conclusions: Our procedure facilitates collection, long-time storage and propagation of clinical CRC specimens (even from different centres) for (pre)clinical studies of novel therapies or for basic research. To test the traditional model of tumor progression, Darwinian-type evolution, against the more recent Big Bang model, we selected 6 microsatellite-stable colorectal standard-type adenocarcinomas and their synchronous lymph node and liver metastases. Somatic genomic variants were identified by whole-exome sequencing (WES) of large tumor fragments from the primaries and 1 liver metastasis each, and used to design targeted resequencing next-generation sequencing (NGS) panels, 1 per case. Targeted deep resequencing (mean coverage, 2725; median, 2222) was performed with DNA from punch samples (1-mm tissue microarrayer needles) obtained from different regions of the primaries and their metastases. In total, 255 genomic variants were interrogated in 108 punch samples. Clonal heterogeneity was infrequent: a pattern of clonal heterogeneity consistent with a role in metastasis formation was observed only in 1 case in a single gene (p. Asp604Tyr of the PTPRT gene). However, when comparing variant allele frequencies (VAFs) of genomic variants in adjacent positions on chromosomes ("matched genomic variant loci") across punch samples, differences that exceeded 2 SD of the NGS assay variations (ad hoc dubbed VAF dysbalance) were observed in 7.1% of the punch samples (2.6%-12.0% per case), which indicates an intricate intermixing of mutated and nonmutated tumor cells ("intrinsic heterogeneity"). Additional OncoScan array analyses on a subset of the punch samples (31 in total) showed gross genomic aberrations as a possible explanation in only some (39.2%) of the matched genomic variant loci with VAF dysbalance. Our study provides a fairly direct (statistical model-free) view of the genomic states of microsatellite-stable colorectal carcinomas and their metastases, and suggests that Darwinian-type tumor evolution is not the key pathway of the metastasizing disease; instead, we recorded an "intrinsic" genomic heterogeneity, which may echo an initial Big Bang-like event., (Copyright © 2023 United States & Canadian Academy of Pathology. Introduction: For pre-clinical drug development and precision oncology research, robust cancer cell models are essential. Patient-derived models in low passages retain more genetic and phenotypic characteristics of their original tumors than conventional cancer cell lines. Subentity, individual genetics, and heterogeneity greatly influence drug sensitivity and clinical outcome., Materials and Methods: Here, we report on the establishment and characterization of three patient-derived cell lines (PDCs) of different subentities of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC): adeno-, squamous cell, and pleomorphic carcinoma. The in-depth characterization of our PDCs included phenotype, proliferation, surface protein expression, invasion, and migration behavior as well as whole-exome and RNA sequencing. Additionally, in vitro drug sensitivity towards standard-of-care chemotherapeutic regimens was evaluated., Results: The pathological and molecular properties of the patients' tumors were preserved in the PDC models HROLu22, HROLu55, and HROBML01. All cell lines expressed HLA I, while none were positive for HLA II. The epithelial cell marker CD326 and the lung tumor markers CCDC59, LYPD3, and DSG3 were also detected. The most frequently mutated genes included TP53, MXRA5, MUC16, and MUC19. Among the most overexpressed genes in tumor cells compared to normal tissue were the transcription factors HOXB9, SIM2, ZIC5, SP8, TFAP2A, FOXE1, HOXB13, and SALL4; the cancer testis antigen CT83; and the cytokine IL23A. The most downregulated genes on the RNA level encode the long non-coding RNA LANCL1-AS1, LINC00670, BANCR, and LOC100652999; the regulator of angiogenesis ANGPT4; the signaling molecules PLA2G1B and RS1; and the immune modulator SFTPD. Furthermore, neither pre-existing therapy resistances nor drug antagonistic effects could be observed., Conclusion: In summary, we successfully established three novel NSCLC PDC models from an adeno-, a squamous cell, and a pleomorphic carcinoma. Of note, NSCLC cell models of the pleomorphic subentity are very rare. The detailed characterization including molecular, morphological, and drug-sensitivity profiling makes these models valuable pre-clinical tools for drug development applications and research on precision cancer therapy. Introduction: Medullary pancreatic carcinoma (MPC) is a rare subtype of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. MPCs represent less than 1% of all pancreatic cancers, and, with only 26 cases in the literature, knowledge regarding drug response and treatment outcome is very limited., Material and Methods: We present the case of a 64-year-old male patient with MPC who was treated by left pancreatic resection and adjuvant chemotherapy. Due to local recurrence, the patient underwent intended curative reoperation. From both surgical specimens, patient-derived xenografts (PDXs) and, from the recurrence, a patient-derived cell line (PDCL) were established. We subsequently performed an in-depth characterization of this cell line including phenotypic characterization, surface protein expression, growth, and migratory performance as well as mutational analysis using whole-exome sequencing (WES). Additionally, in vitro drug sensitivity toward the standard-of-care chemotherapeutic regimen and selected targeted therapies was evaluated., Results: The pathological and molecular properties of this rare MPC case observed in the patient's tumors are preserved in the corresponding PDX and the PDCL of HROP68Tu2. Despite displaying an "immunogenic phenotype" with marked T-cell infiltration and a high-level expression of HLA II and Programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1), molecular analysis revealed microsatellite stability but a multitude of mutations affecting KRAS, TP53, KAT6B, FOXG1, RUNX1, and GRIK2 among others. Furthermore, HROP68Tu2 cells were susceptible toward 5-FU, irinotecan, oxaliplatin, gemcitabine, paclitaxel, and erlotinib as single agents, but only a moderate synergistic response was seen to the drugs of the FOLFIRINOX regimen. Even worse, the drugs of the two combinations gemcitabine plus paclitaxel and gemcitabine plus erlotinib showed antagonistic effects. Moreover, lapatinib, PRIMA-Met1, and olaparib selected as targeted therapeutics according to the mutational profiles and protein expression inhibited HROP68Tu2 cells' growth., Conclusion: This study illustrates the establishment of the first preclinical MPC models as well as the first in-depth characterization of an MPC PDCL. Based on our research group's large biobank of colorectal cancers (CRC), we here describe the ongoing activity of establishing a high quality assured PDX biobank for more than 100 individual CRC cases. This includes sufficient numbers of vitally frozen ( n > 30 aliquots) and snap frozen ( n > 5) backups, "ready to use". Additionally, PDX tumor pieces were paraffin embedded. At the current time, we have completed 125 cases. This resource allows histopathological examinations, molecular characterizations, and gene expression analysis. Due to its size, different issues of interest can be addressed. Most importantly, the application of low-passage, cryopreserved, and well-characterized PDX for in vivo studies guarantees the reliability of results due to the largely preserved tumor microenvironment. All cases described were molecularly subtyped and genetic identity, in comparison to the original tumor tissue, was confirmed by fingerprint analysis. The latter excludes ambiguity errors between the PDX and the original patient tumor. A cancer hot spot mutation analysis was performed for n = 113 of the 125 cases entities. All relevant CRC molecular subtypes identified so far are represented in the Hansestadt Rostock CRC (HROC)-Xenobank. Notably, all models are available for cooperative research approaches.

The prognosis of metastatic colorectal cancer (CRC) remains poor. Patients and physicians are in need of individual therapies and precise response predictions. We investigated the predictive capacity of primary tumour material for treatment response of metastases. Mutational landscapes of primary tumours and corresponding metastases of 10 CRC patients were compared. Cell line characteristics and chemosensitivity were investigated pairwise for primary and metastatic tumours of four patients. PDX models of one patient were treated in vivo for proof of concept. Driver mutations did not differ between primaries and metastases, while the latter accumulated additional mutations. In vitro chemosensitivity testing revealed no differences for responses to 5-FU and oxaliplatin between primary and metastatic cell lines. However, irinotecan response differed significantly: the majority of metastases-derived cell lines was less sensitive to irinotecan than their matching primary counterpart. Therapy recommendations based on these findings were compared to clinical treatment response and mostly in line with the predicted outcome. Therefore, primary tumour cell models seem to be a good tool for drug response testing and conclusion drawing for later metastases. With further data from tumour-derived cell models, such predictions could improve clinical treatment decisions, both recommending likely effective therapeutic options while excluding ineffective treatments.

In light of the growing knowledge about the inter-individual properties and heterogeneity of cancers, the emerging field of personalized medicine requires a platform for preclinical research. Over recent years, we have established a biobank of colorectal and pancreatic cancers comprising of primary tumor tissue, normal tissue, sera, isolated peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBL), patient-derived xenografts (PDX), as well as primary and secondary cancer cell lines. Since original tumor tissue is limited and the establishment rate of primary cancer cell lines is still relatively low, PDX allow not only the preservation and extension of the biobank but also the generation of secondary cancer cell lines. Moreover, PDX-models have been proven to be the ideal in vivo model for preclinical drug testing. However, biobanking requires careful preparation, strict guidelines and a well attuned infrastructure. Colectomy, duodenopancreatectomy or resected metastases specimens are collected immediately after resection and transferred to the pathology department. Respecting priority of an unbiased histopathological report, at the discretion of the attending pathologist who carries out the dissections, small tumor pieces and non-tumor tissue are harvested. Necrotic parts are discarded and the remaining tumor tissue is cut into small, identical cubes and cryopreserved for later use. Additionally, a small portion of the tumor is minced and strained for primary cancer cell culture. Additionally, blood samples drawn from the patient pre- and postoperatively, are processed to obtain serum and PBLs. For PDX engraftment, the cryopreserved specimens are defrosted and implanted subcutaneously into the flanks of immunodeficient mice. The resulting PDX closely recapitulate the histology of the "donor" tumors and can be either used for subsequent xenografting or cryopreserved for later use. In the following work, we describe the individual steps of creation, maintenance and administration of a large biobank of colorectal and pancreatic cancer. Moreover, we highlight the crucial details and caveats associated with biobanking.

Background: The diagnosis of low-grade infections of endoprostheses is challenging. There are still no unified guidelines for standardised diagnostic approaches, recommendations are categorised into major and minor criteria. Additional histopathological samples might sustain the diagnosis. However, ambulatory preoperative biopsy collection is not widespread., Method: 102 patients with hip or knee endoprosthesis and suspected periprosthetic joint infection (PJI) were examined by arthrocentesis with microbiological sample and histopathological punch biopsy. The data were retrospectively analysed for diagnosis concordance., Results: Preoperative microbiology compared to intraoperative results was positive in 51.9% (sensitivity 51.9%, specificity 97.3%). In comparison of preoperative biopsy to intraoperative diagnostic results 51.9% cases were positive (sensitivity 51.9%, specificity 100.0%). The combination of preoperative biopsy and microbiology in comparison to intraoperative results was positive in 70.4% of the cases (sensitivity 70.4%, specificity 97.3%)., Conclusion: The diagnosis of PJI is complex. One single method to reliably detect an infection is currently not available. With the present method histopathological samples might be obtained quickly, easily and safely for the preoperative detection of PJI. A combination of microbiological and histopathological sampling increases the sensitivity up to 18.5% to detect periprosthetic infection.

Hypermutator-type colorectal carcinomas are microsatellite-stable and have point mutations of the exonuclease domain of the DNA polymerase ε or δ genes (POLE and POLD1, respectively), and an ultrahigh tumor mutational burden (TMB). These tumors may be associated with enhanced antitumor immunity and preferentially afflict younger patients, but this notion awaits validation by accrual of further cases for detailed correlative phenotypic and molecular study. We performed POLE and POLD1 exonuclease domain Sanger sequencing of 271 unselected colorectal carcinomas. We identified two microsatellite-stable tumors with somatic POLE p.P286R variants, both with ultrahigh TMBs as demonstrated by whole exome sequencing. A POLE p.V411L was found in another two microsatellite-stable tumors with ultrahigh TMBs. Two of these four tumors were from young patients (<50 years old, nonsyndromic), and there was seen a prominent T-cell infiltration in three of them. Furthermore, a somatic POLE p.A465T was found in a Lynch-associated tumor, which, hypothetically, might have enhanced TMB (which was the highest of all). In two tumors, a somatic POLE p.V411L and a POLD1 p.E279K, respectively, were found only focally, and TMBs were low. It is commonly assumed that compromise of one allele is sufficient, but this has not been specifically addressed. Therefore, resequencing of the POLE or POLD1 mutations was done with DNA from tumor cells isolated by laser-capture microdissection. This demonstrated that the mutations were monoallelic, and there was no evidence of a "second hit", neither by allelic loss (allelotyping with polymorphic microsatellite markers), nor by promoter methylation (Pyromark CpG assays). Taken together, including at least the more common DNA polymerase mutations in NGS panels allows for straightforward identification of hypermutator-type colorectal carcinomas which often may be "immunoreactive". This is important at least in young patients or when a metastasizing stage of disease has been reached and immune-checkpoint therapy enters deliberation.

Patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models have been rediscovered as meaningful research tool. By using severely immunodeficient mice, high-engraftment rates can be theoretically achieved, permitting clinical stratification strategies. Apart from engraftment efficacy, tolerability towards certain cytostatic drugs varies among individual mouse strains thus impeding large-scale screenings. Here, we aimed at optimizing an in vivo treatment schedule using the widely applied cytostatic drug 5-fluoruracil (5-FU) for exemplary response prediction in colorectal cancer (CRC) PDX models. Four different individual CRC PDX models were engrafted into NOD.Cg-Prkdc scid Il2rg tm1 Wjl (NSG) mice. Mice with established PDX were allocated to different treatment groups, receiving 5-FU, the oral prodrug Capecitabine, or 5-FU/leucovorin (LV) at different doses. Body weight, tumor size, and general behavior were assessed during therapy. Ex vivo analyses were done from blood samples, liver, as well as tumor resection specimen. Engraftment efficacy was high as expected in NSG mice, yielding stable PDX growth for therapy stratification. However, overall tolerability towards 5-FU was unexpectedly low, whereas the prodrug Capecitabine as well as the combination of 5-FU/LV at low doses were well tolerated. Accompanying plasma level determination of DYPD, the rate-limiting enzyme for 5-FU-mediated toxicity, revealed reduced activity in NSG mice compared with other common laboratory mouse strains, offering a likely explanation for the drug incompatibility. Also, the De Ritis quotient was highly elevated in treated mice, reflecting overall organ injury even at low doses. Summarizing these findings, NSG mice are ideal hosts for in vivo engraftment studies. However, the complex immunodeficiency reduces tolerance to certain drugs, thus making those mice especially sensitive. Consequently, such dose finding and tolerance tests constitute a necessity for similar cancer precision medicine approaches.

Antegrade endoscopic harvesting of autografts for bypass grafting may be an optimal strategy addressing excellent graft quality and reduced post-operative wound complications. This standardized protocol for antegrade endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) from the lower leg has the potential to be introduced to routine coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). Patients undergoing CABG surgery are positioned on a surgical table with two additional foam rollers below the extended legs, enabling antegrade EVH from the lower leg. Following minimally invasive surgical access through a bridging vein harvest technique, an endoscopic optical dissector is inserted antegrade into the wound. The main vessel and side branches are dissected under continuous optical control of vein quality status and the working channel. After, an endoscopic optical retractor is inserted with an internal bipolar electrocoagulation device for precise, safe, and tissue-protective interruption of side branches. After release of the vein, the vessel is cut off at the proximal and distal ends under optical control, retrieved from the wound, then cannulated and flushed with heparinized saline. Finally, all side branches of the vein graft are double-clipped. Vascular histology is analyzed in a randomized selection of vein samples. After applying this standardized EVH protocol, the learning curve was shown to be steep, and graft quality was sufficient for coronary artery bypass grafting in every case. There was no conversion to surgical harvesting and low risks for tissue damage and bleeding. Leg positioning and synergizing EVH with bridging vein harvesting improved procedural success and vein graft quality. In our hands, antegrade EVH from the lower leg was feasible, demonstrating straightforward graft dissection as well as adequate macroscopic and microscopic graft quality with preserved endothelial integrity. In conclusion, the introduced technique is safe, shows excellent vein autograft quality, and illustrates feasibility for elective and urgent isolated CABG and combined CABG scenarios.
