Mitochondria play a fundamental role in cell survival and motility. Abnormalities in mitochondria are associated with carcinogenesis, especially with tumor metastasis. In this study, we explore the biological function of ATIP1, which is a mitochondrial-located isoform of angiotensin II AT2 receptor interacting proteins (ATIPs) in prostate cancer cells. The results showed that ATIP is downregulated in prostate cancer tissues and is negatively correlated with the disease-free survival rate of prostate cancer patients. Silencing of ATIP promotes mitochondrial fission and enhances tumor cell migration and invasion. Reconstitution of ATIP1 in ATIP-deficient cells significantly attenuates mitochondrial trafficking and tumor cell movement. Therefore, ATIP1 is a negative regulator of mitochondrial dynamics and tumor cell motility and is also a potential biomarker for predicting prostate cancer malignancy.

This study intends to explore the influence of temperature and molar ratio on the competitive adsorption of CH4/O2/N2 gas in coal. It probed into the competitive adsorption characteristics of CH4/O2 and N2/O2 binary mixed gas in Xiaolongtan lignite of Yunnan under different temperatures (303.15~383.15 K)and pressures (0~480 kPa)through grand canonical Monte Carlo (GCMC)and molecular simulation methods. Results show that : ① Within the range of test temperature and pressure, temperature will inhibit the adsorption of CH4, O2 and N2 by coal, and the adsorption capacity of coal to three gases is CH4>O2>N2. ② The selectivity coefficient of CH4/O2 adsorption is basically independent of the gas molar ratio, and shows decrease with the increase of temperature. The adsorption selectivity of N2/O2 on coal under different molar ratios was not significantly related to temperature and molar ratio. ③ With the increase of adsorption capacity, the isosteric adsorption heat of any component in the binary mixed gas shows linear increase. Under the same adsorption capacity, larger molar ratio of CH4/O2 and N2/O2 would lead to lower adsorption heat. However, when the adsorption capacity of CH4 is less than 0.029 mmol / g, the isosteric adsorption heat of CH4 gas shows little correlation with the molar ratio. The research reveals the influence mechanism of competitive adsorption behavior of CH4 and air on low temperature oxidation of coal.

Objective： A surface evaporation concentration device were designed to concentrate thermosensitive feed liquid at low temperature under normal pressure with low energy consumption. Methods： Based on an introduction to the working principle of the device, the basic equations of the device were given. The changes of volumetric evaporation flux and energy saving ratio with flow rate of the feed liquid, feed liquid temperature, sweeping gas flow rate, sweeping gas temperature were calculated and analyzed. Designed an experimental platform and obtained a set of optimal performance parameters through experiments. Results： The results showed that when the flow rate of the feed liquid was 0.02 kg/s, the device had the highest energy saving ratio and higher volumetric evaporation flux; When the temperature of the feed liquid increased from 30 ℃ to 50 ℃, the volumetric evaporation flux increased by 224.68%, but the energy saving ratio decreased by 12.42%; When the sweeping gas flow rate increased from 0.004 kg/s to 0.006 kg/s, the volumetric evaporation flux increased by 23.45%, but the energy saving ratio decreased by 7.74%; When the temperature of the sweeping gas increased from 10 ℃ to 30 ℃, the volumetric evaporation flux decreased by 22.92%, but the energy saving ratio increased by 37.49%; An experimental device was established to test orange juice with a sugar content of 15 °Brix, the results showed that when the feed liquid temperature was 38 ℃ and the sweeping gas temperature was 26 ℃, the volumetric evaporation flux of the device could reach 219 kg/（m3·h）, and the energy saving ratio could reach 3.3.Conclusion： The heat pump assisted random filler surface evaporation device has the characteristics of low temperature concentration under atmospheric pressure and low energy consumption when concentrating thermosensitive feed liquid．

This study aims to investigate the significance of using the Toumai robotic platform for the resection of inferior vena cava (IVC) hemangiomas. Our objective is to provide information on the potential benefits of this innovative approach in managing these uncommon vascular tumors and to contribute to the growing body of knowledge in the field of surgical oncology and vascular surgery. A 37-year-old female patient with an incidental finding of a right retroperitoneal mass underwent contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging, which confirmed the diagnosis of an IVC hemangioma. Due to the rarity and complexity of this vascular tumor, the medical team opted for a novel approach using the Toumai robotic surgical platform (Shanghai MicroPort MedBot Group Co, Ltd). Under general anesthesia, the patient was placed in the left lateral decubitus position, and the robotic arms were controlled remotely through the Toumai platform. A transperitoneal approach was adopted, and the surgeon meticulously resected the tumor while preserving the integrity of the IVC. The use of the Toumai robotic platform facilitated precise tumor resection, minimizing the risk of damage to surrounding structures. The minimally invasive nature of the robotic surgery contributed to a reduced incidence of postoperative complications and accelerated patient recovery. Furthermore, the remote fifth-generation mobile network surgical capabilities of the Toumai platform allow for expert care to be provided to patients despite geographic barriers. The robotic-assisted surgical approach using the Toumai platform demonstrates its potential benefits in managing rare and complex vascular tumors such as IVC hemangiomas. Robotic technology has the potential to revolutionize the field of surgical oncology and vascular surgery, leading to improved patient outcomes and healthcare delivery. However, more extensive clinical studies and larger case series are needed to validate the long-term safety and efficacy of this innovative surgical approach. Continued research and collaboration between clinicians and robotic technology experts are essential to fully realize the potential of robotic-assisted surgery for the benefit of patients with rare and challenging medical conditions.

In recent years, China’s construction industry has achieved rapid development, while the problem of safety accident risks brought by construction projects has also arisen. In this paper, based on natural language processing technology, using a graph neural network algorithm, we constructed a graph data model of safety accident reports in construction engineering and generated a database of association rules of safety risk factors in construction engineering to identify and classify the risk of safety accidents in actual construction engineering. The pictures of safety risk behaviors at the construction site are processed with feature mapping and inputted into a convolutional neural network to build a construction engineering safety warning model. Through simulation experiments, the identification results of risk factors for the model constructed in this paper and the effective degree of safety warning are tested. The top five factors in the centrality ranking of risk factors of construction engineering safety accidents are S17, S6, S1, S9, and S8, with centrality levels of 1.9779, 1.8626, 1.8204, 1.6332 and 1.4534, and the factor attribute of S6 is the outcome factor. The warning model constructed in this paper is measured against the level of safety risk of the construction project under the non-adoption of the warning model. The safety risk is reduced by 35.8% after the adoption of the safety accident warning model, which shows that the model in this paper has a certain inhibition effect on the risk of safety accidents.

Emissions from transportation fuel vehicles are polluting the environment more than ever before. Currently, autonomous delivery vehicles (ADVs) are welcomed by logistics service providers and lots of consumers in general for their significant contribution in reducing environmental pollution and increasing delivery efficiency. However, there is a lack of in-depth research on consumers' willingness to adopt ADVs, despite the fact that ADVs are innovative delivery method in the field of last-mile delivery. The purpose of the study is to expand the existing knowledge of consumers' adoption behaviors by developing and testing the extended Value-Belief-Norm (VBN) theory in autonomous delivery literature. In particular, the study adds subjective norms and COVID-19 risk into the original VBN model as a theoretical framework to gain a comprehensive understanding of the consumer decision-making processes with respect to their intentions to use ADVs. Structural equation modeling is conducted using data from a web-based survey of 561 consumers through an online sample platform. The results of the study demonstrated that both subjective norms and COVID-19 risk are all related with consumers’ intention to use ADVs. The casual chain hypotheses of the extend VBN theory mentioned in our study are all supported. The results of the study make significant theoretical and managerial contributions to the field of last-mile delivery and the adoption behaviors of emerging technologies.

Abstract Background Allergic diseases are highly prevalent in the women of childbearing age. As we know, the immune system could change when pregnancy, which may affect the course of allergic diseases. Meanwhile, they also can affect the course and outcome of pregnancy. The data on incidence of allergies during pregnancy is lacking and conducting clinical trials in pregnant women was limited, therefore, we observed a prebirth cohort to supplement the relevant data and strengthen concerned research conductions. Objective We aim to obtain the incidence of allergies in urban pregnancy and explore the relevant factors of allergic diseases in urban pregnancy. Methods We design a multicenter and prospective cohort in 20 institutions above municipal level which were eligible according to the study design from 14 provinces covering all-side of China. This cohort was conducted from 13+6 weeks of gestation to 12 months postpartum and in our study, we chose the prenatal part to analyze. The outcome was developing allergies during pregnancy, which were diagnosed by clinicians according to the uniform criterion from National Health Commission. All the data was collected by electronic questionnaires through tablet computers. Results The incidence of allergic diseases in urban pregnant women was 21.0% (95%CI 20.0% ~ 22.0%). Sontag emphasizes the aesthetic function inherent in language and artistic forms, uncovering marginalized and even theatricalized nonmainstream expressions. Storm surge disaster is the major threat to coastal residents’ lives and property in China, which could steal away development gains in a short time. Therefore, the storm surge disaster loss reduction is an indispensable part of socio-economic development. However, the relationship between economic growth and the loss of storm surge disasters remains unclear. Herein, we explored the relationship between economic growth and the losses caused by storm surge disasters in China’s coastal zones from 1978 to 2020. We established an empirical model through the indicators of direct economic loss and death toll using negative binomial estimate and tobit estimate models. To ensure the accuracy of the model, multiple socioeconomic factors were also included in the models. The results revealed that there is an “inverted U-shaped” relationship between GDP per capita and the losses from storm surges. Furthermore, we used the entropy method to establish the storm surge hazard exposure index of China’s coastal zone from 2000 to 2020, considering disaster intensity, population density and other factors. When considering hazard exposure level, the role of economic growth may be diminished. In other words, at the same economic level, higher hazard exposure leads to greater disaster losses. We argue that economic growth and disaster resilience are not identical goals. Thus, the government needs sufficient information support when formulating disaster prevention and reduction plans.

Information and communication technology has gradually become one of the most important pillars of the economy. In addition to economic growth, environmental pollution is a product of information and communication technologies (ICTs) as well. However, whether and how ICTs may affect these systems is unclear. Based on a more comprehensive measurement of ICTs, the current study has investigated the impact of ICTs, education, and economic performance on environmental sustainability from 2000 to 2019 across 93 countries categorized as low-income, middle-income, and high-income. Contrary to preceding studies, this research has used advanced econometric techniques to counter heterogeneities and dependencies in the data and, thus, has produced more trustworthy and efficient results. The finding obtained from the Bias-corrected method of the moment’s estimator and Driscoll and Kraal’s standard error techniques are consistent. According to the results, ICTs have a heterogenous effect on environmental sustainability across low-, middle- and high-income countries. Further results have revealed that education plays a significant role in maintaining environmental sustainability across middle—and high-income groups but does not seem to do so for lower—income groups. Environmental education for all should be part of the policy measures to tackle climate change across all income groups.

Soil tends to have nonlinear compression characteristics, and the consolidation laws of soil are different under different compression characteristics. Considering the nonlinear characteristics of soil, variable load and continuous drainage boundary conditions, a one-dimensional consolidation equation is established. Its solutions are obtained by using the unconditionally stable finite difference method and semi-analytical method, and the reliability of the two methods is verified by the degradation of continuous drainage boundary condition and the comparison of the two solutions. Based on the solution of finite difference method, the influences of interface parameter, load parameters and nonlinear parameter on soil consolidation are analyzed in detail. The results show that, the larger the interface parameter of continuous drainage boundary, the greater the dissipation rate of excess pore water and the settlement rate of soil, while the interface parameter has no effect on the final settlement. The excess pore water pressure gradually increases at the loading stage and dissipates at the constant loading stage. With the increase of loading rate, both the peak value of excess pore water pressure and soil consolidation rate increase, indicating that extending the construction period is conducive to reducing the influence of excess pore water pressure. It is difficult to accurately predict the consolidation rate of soil in engineering. The accuracy of soil model, boundary conditions and soil calculation parameters should be ensured when the consolidation theory is used.

The power industry is a major source of carbon emissions in China. In order to better explore the driving factors of carbon emissions in China’s power industry and assist the Chinese government in formulating emission reduction strategies for the power industry, this study applies the improved production-theoretical decomposition analysis (PDA) method to analyze the carbon emission drivers of China’s power industry. This study investigates the impact of energy intensity, per capita GDP, population density, power generation structure, and environmental climate on carbon emissions in China’s power industry in 30 provinces from 2005 to 2020. It was found that the carbon emission ratios of the power sector in all provinces and cities are basically greater than 1, which indicates that carbon emissions in most of the power sectors in the country are still increasing as of 2020. Overall, the effects of potential thermal fuel carbon emission efficiency, potential thermal energy consumption efficiency, the carbon emission efficiency of thermal power generation, economic scale, population density, and annual rainfall change are mostly greater than 1 and will promote the growth of carbon emissions in the power sector. Moreover, the effects of thermal power generation energy efficiency technology, thermal power generation emission reduction technology, power generation structure, and power generation per unit GDP are mostly less than 1 and will inhibit the growth of carbon emissions in the power sector. However, each of these drivers does not have the same degree of influence and impact effect for each province and city. Based on the research results, some policy recommendations are proposed.

Background: The introduction of the robotic platform to bariatric surgery has brought forth a novel approach. The purpose of this research was to study the advantages and disadvantages of the combination modes of the robotic arm and laparoscopic instruments in robot-assisted sleeve gastrectomy (RASG). Methods: 9 The clinical data of 12 patients who underwent RASG in the first affiliated hospital of shandong first medical university from December 2019 to September 2020 were analyzed. According to the different combination modes of laparoscopic instruments and robotic arms, they were divided into two groups: the “4 ​+ ​1″ group (n ​= ​6) and the “3 ​+ ​2” group (n ​= ​6). Results: This study evaluated a total of 12 patients. There were no statistically significant differences in patient demographics characteristics and co-morbid disease. The mean operating time (125.3 ​± ​6.5min in 4 ​+ ​1 versus 127 ​± ​8.3min in 3 ​+ ​2, P ​= ​0.601), length of hospital stay (6.3 ​± ​1.0 ​d in 4 ​+ ​1 versus 5.6 ​± ​1.9 ​d in 3 ​+ ​2, P ​= ​0.221),intraoperative blood loss (31.6 ​± ​9.8 ​ml in 4 ​+ ​1 versus 28.3 ​± ​11.7 ​ml in 3 ​+ ​2, P ​= ​0.713), hospital costs (72487.6 ​± ​1135.1 yuan in 4 ​+ ​1 versus 73433.8 ​± ​5301.5 yuan in 3 ​+ ​2, P ​= ​0.12), excess Weight Loss (EWL)% at 1 month after operation (12.4 ​± ​1.9 in 4 ​+ ​1 versus 13.3 ​± ​2.4 in 3 ​+ ​2, P ​= ​0.634)did not differ between the two groups. Conclusions: Two modes are both feasible and safe for RASG. The surgeon can choose one mode to perform the operation according to the situation of his team.

Time-sensitive network can provide deterministic transmission services with bounded low latency for applications. Besides, it brings a unified architecture and standards to heterogeneous real-time Ethernet in the industry. However, the implementation and deployment of time-sensitive network based on IEEE Std 802.1Qcc face many challenges in various application scenarios. The research on the control and management mechanisms in time-sensitive network was summarized. Then the problems to be solved were analyzed and summarized from transmission performance, scalability and technology fusion. The latest research progress of control and management mechanisms was shown. The open issues and future research directions were discussed.

With the proliferation of network traffic, replaying traffic in a virtual environment faces many problems. In order to meet the requirements of traffic integrity and accuracy in the replay process, an accelerated traffic replay method based on time-compressed was proposed to achieve accelerated replay of real network traffic in a virtual environment. The method prioritized the compression of the largest time interval in the set of time intervals, and reduced the compression of the smaller intervals, thus reducing the traffic spike per unit time caused by time compression, and reducing the packet loss rate of traffic. The effect was measured in terms of packet loss rate, time interval error and similarity. The experiments show that this method has a lower packet loss rate and lower time interval error compared with the isometric compression method, although it performs worse in similarity.

The formation and evolution of laser-induced periodic structures (LIPSS) have attracted much attention due to their broad applications and rich physics. The literature has shown that excessive laser energy accumulation, such as increasing single pulse energy or cumulative pulse number on a sample, leads to a final fuzzy LIPSS period or even disappearance of the period. This article discovers a new phenomenon by increasing the laser fluence; the periodic structure appears blurred and disappears in the middle of the laser fluence region. Two contrary evolution tendencies of the period’s disappearance are observed for the first time. This phenomenon can be attributed to femtosecond ablation regimes in different fluence regions. The experimental results and discussion provide a powerful guarantee for the high-quality preparation of structures by controlling the experimental parameters for future practical applications. The findings of this study play a significant role in regulating the LIPSS period and provide ideas for avoiding the hidden danger of the cycle structure disappearing during the creation of the LIPSS structure, which has practical implications for future LIPSS applications.

Based on the classical scenario set, the VPP economic dispatch model is proposed taking into account the uncertainty factors of distributed power sources. The basic model of the VPP is first analyzed, followed by the proposed operation strategy of the VPP based on the basic model, while considering the impact of the time-of-use electricity price on the economics of the VPP. Latin hypercube sampling combined with K-means clustering is used to generate the classical scene set; at the same time, the model is solved using an algorithm that incorporates a genetic mechanism in an improved particle swarm algorithm (PSO). Finally, according to the established model, a calculation example is used to verify. The design is based on two scenarios of the classic scene set and general scene. The optimization configuration results are compared and analyzed. It is confirmed that the VPP optimization configuration under the classic scene set can improve the net income of the VPP.

Sugarcane is one of the largest economic crops in China. However, the current domestic sugarcane straw crushing and returning machines have limitations such as short service life, poor crushing effect, and low operating efficiency. In order to solve these problems, a 1GYF-240 sugarcane straw crushing and returning machine was developed in this study. First of all, the power is provided by the tractor, and at the same time, it drives the blade in the crushing mechanism to rotate at a high speed. Next, the profiling leaf collector collects the sugarcane stalks that are close to the ground and feeds them into the crushing chamber. Finally, the swinging knife and the fixed knife are used for crushing, and the crushed straw is evenly thrown to the field along the rear baffle under the action of centrifugal force, thereby completing the operation of crushing and returning the sugarcane straw to the field. The results of field experiments show that the qualified rate of sugarcane straw crushing is 93.8%, and the work efficiency is 0.78hm2·h-1, which shows good operation effect. The results of comparative experiments show that this study not only solves the environmental pollution problem of traditional incineration well, but also has the function of heat preservation and water retention. In addition, compared with similar domestic models, the experimental results show that the crushing and returning machine has obvious advantages in picking up rate and crushing rate of sugarcane straw, and has higher reliability in actual operation. This research can provide the foundation and support for the design and popularization of the sugarcane leaf crushing and returning machine.

Reverse osmosis technology in the field of seawater desalination has become a hot topic in recent years. In this study, 2,507 literatures in WOS database from 2013 to 2022 were analyzed using Citespace visualization technology. It is found that the number of literatures published and their citation frequency on reverse osmosis desalination are on the rise globally. At present, research hotspots mainly focus on forward osmosis, interfacial polymerization, draw solution, reverse osmosis, brine discharge and boron removal. Future research hotspots will focus more on ammonia carbon dioxide, layer, draw solution and economic analysis. Through bibliometric analysis method, this study provides a quantitative review of relevant literature for the development of reverse osmosis desalination field, and has an in-depth understanding of the development and evolution of this field.

As a kind of innovation in corporate governance, the equity incentives enable the proprietors to hold a certain amount of equity in the enterprise, so that proprietors can directly obtain the growth return of the enterprise while exercising the management right of the enterprise, and then consider the long-term development of the enterprise from the perspective of enterprise development.

Saponins are the main active components in Panax ginseng C. A. Mey. (PG), Panax quinquefolius L. (PQ), and Panax japonicus C. A. Mey. (PJ), which belong to the genus Panax in the Araliaceae family. Because the chemical components in the three species are similar, they are often mixed and misused in functional foods and pharmaceuticals applications. Therefore, it is urgent to establish a method to quickly distinguish among PG, PQ, and PJ. Ultraperformance liquid chromatography quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q-TOF/MS) was combined with data postprocessing to identify the main characteristic fragments (CFs) and the related neutral losses (NLs) of protopanaxadiol (PPD), protopanaxatriol (PPT), oleanolic acid (OLE), and ocotillol- (OCO-) type saponins. By comparing the mass spectral data, it was possible to rapidly classify and identify saponins in PG, PQ, and PJ. A total of twenty-three chemical components were identified in the PG samples, twenty-three components were identified in the PQ samples, and twenty-seven components were identified in the PJ samples. Among them, OCO-type saponins were characteristic of PQ and PJ. Ginsenoside Rf, which was absent from PQ, allowed for differentiation between PQ and PJ. The CFs and NLs in the mass spectra of the characteristic components of PG, PQ, and PJ allowed for the rapid classification and identification of these species. Additionally, these results provide technical support for the quality evaluation of Chinese herbal medicine and for constructing a scientific regulatory system.

Abstract Background Three-dimensional (3D) printing involves the layering of seed cells, biologically compatible scaffolds, and biological activity factors to precisely recapitulate a biological tissue. Graphene oxide (GO), a type of micro material, has been utilized as a small molecule-transport vehicle. With the proliferation of GO, the biocompatibility of chondrocytes in a microenvironment constructed by 3D printed scaffolds and GO is innovative. Accordingly, we speculate that, as a type of micro material, GO can be used with 3D scaffolds for a uniform distribution in the cartilage layer. Results A qualitative analysis of the chondrocyte-proliferation potential revealed that the culture of 3D printing with a 10% GO scaffold was higher than that of the other groups. Meanwhile, the progress of cell apoptosis was activated. Through scanning electron microscopy, immunofluorescence, and in vivo research, we observed that the newborn cartilage matrix extended along the border of the cartilage and scaffold and matured. After an analysis with immunohistochemical staining with aggrecan and collagen I, the cartilage following the 3D-printed scaffold was thinner than that of the 3D-printed GO scaffold. Furthermore, the collagen I of the cartilage expression in treatment with the GO scaffold was significant from week 2 to 6. Conclusions The findings indicate that a 3D-printed GO scaffold can potentially be utilized for the construction of a cartilage matrix. However, the optimum concentration of GO requires further research and discussion.

Rapid and high-sensitive detection of mycotoxins is believed to be of vital importance in assuring food safety. In this study, we developed a novel fluorescence immunochromatographic sensor (ICS) for the mycotoxin of zearalenone (ZEN) in cereals. This was done by using a black phosphorus-Au nanocomposite (BP-Au) as the 2D quenching platform. Herein, gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) were directly reduced on the surface of BP nanosheets (BPNSs) to form BP-Au nanocomposites, showing higher fluorescence (quantum dots, λEm = 525 nm) quenching efficiency compared to the BPNSs and AuNPs. The fluorescence quenching efficiency of the prepared BP-Au nanocomposite reached 73.8%, which was 1.73-fold and 1.44-fold higher than AuNPs and BPNSs, respectively. The density functional theory was also successfully used to explore the formation mechanism of the BP-Au nanocomposite. By introducing the quantum dots/BP-Au signal/quencher pair, a high-sensitive fluorescence quenching ICS (B-FICS) was developed for the detection and discrimination of ZEN with the limit of detection of 0.1 μg/l in pure working buffer. This was 2.5-fold more sensitive than AuNPs-based FICS (A-FICS). The B-FICS was successfully applied in real cereals detection with the sample limit of detection of 2 μg/kg. The successful construction of B-FICS offers a novel method for a rapid and high-sensitive detection of ZEN in cereals. It also provides a new practical application of 2D BPNSs in food safety sensing.

Understanding of the relationship between air pollutants and meteorological parameters on the regional scale is a prerequisite for setting up air pollution prevention and control strategies; however, there is a lack of methodical investigations, particularly in the context of Bangladesh’s deficiency of information on air pollution. This study represents the first attempt to investigate the relationship between air pollutants (NO2, O3, SO2, and CO) and meteorological parameters over Bangladesh using satellite data (OMI and MOPITT) during the period from 2015 to 2020. Geographically weighted regression (GWR) modelling was utilized to assess the relationship between air pollutants and weather variables. The spatial representation and average values of geographically varying coefficients showed that the column densities of air pollutants were affected by the meteorological parameters. For example, NO2 was positively associated with temperature in most of the studied regions, with an average geographically varying coefficient value of 0.12 Dobson units (DU, 1 DU = 2.687 × 1016 molecules/cm2), indicating that NO2 concentrations increase by 0.12 DU/year with every unit increase in temperature. The sources of NO2 and SO2 in Dhaka were identified through emission inventory analysis, and transportation and industry emissions were the most significant influencing factors for NO2 and SO2, respectively. Temperature and pressure showed a higher degree of relationship with all four air pollutants compared with other parameters. The results and discussion presented in this study can be of benefit for policy makers in developing air pollution control strategies in Bangladesh.

[Objectives]To study the influence of side-hull layout of trimaran on its motion performance,[Methods]A new method which is based on Monte Carlo method and potential flow theory is presented to help side-hull layout of trimaran optimize its motion and multi-objective optimization models and calculation techniques are provided. Firstly,we use Monte Carlo method to select the solutions and use AQWA software(potential flow theory) to calculate the motion responses of these solutions. Then by comparing the rolling,pitching and heaving motion responses of these solutions,we select the optimization solution in which these three indicators are all smaller than those of the original ship.[Results] The results show that in the regular wave,the motion responses of the trimaran are reduced when side-hull is located before the mid-ship of the main-hull. In irregular wave,the roll motion of the trimaran is decreased when side-hull is located before the mid-ship of the main-hull;Also in the regular wave,the roll motion and pitch motion are decreased when we increase the lateral distance between the side-hull and the main-hull.[Conclusions]To study the influence of side-hull layout on the motion of trimaranon, using Monte Carlo method and potential flow theory can increase calculation efficiency and guarantee high calculation accuracy.
