The rapid development of high-speed railways (HSR) worldwide has provided a fast, convenient, safe, and comfortable mode of transportation. It is also an important public transportation tool for green travel, contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions. HSR has a strong competitive advantage in long-distance passenger transportation, but it faces significant competition from the aviation industry. Airlines attract passengers with discounted fares and differentiated pricing strategies, apart from shorter travel times. Therefore, it is necessary for railway enterprises to enhance their competitiveness through differentiated pricing methods for HSR. In this study, we focus on optimizing a long-distance origin-destination (OD) pair and creating a competitive market environment by considering all operating trains and flights for the selected OD pair. We aim to improve the realism of the study by considering passengers' fully rational travel choice behavior. To reduce the complexity of variables, passengers are grouped based on their expected departure time and income level. A mixed integer linear programing model is developed to address the problem, aiming to minimize overall travel costs for passengers while ensuring that the income of the railway enterprise does not fall below a specified value. In order to make safety risk assessment more accurately and more reasonably for high-speed railway station in China, this paper analyzes risk factors of fault tree and transfers the fault tree of risk accident into fuzzy petri net and then builds the FPN-FTA model by combining the dynamic weighting fuzzy petri net (FPN) and fault tree analysis (FTA) based on the latter. This paper simulates the FTA-FPN model with Stateflow of Matlab software. Then, it builds up a bi-objective risk control model, making the minimum safety risk level and minimum necessary cost as the objectives, and it designs discrete particle swarm optimization algorithm to solve the risk control model. It is well known that the proper allocation of learning time is particularly important for promoting students' academic performance. Based on the data from PISA 2018, this research used the method of threshold regression and quantile regression to explore the optimal length of learning time to promote the students' academic performance. At the same time, this research also explored the heterogeneity of the effect of learning time on different academic levels of students. The results show that for four Chinese provinces and cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu province and Zhejiang province, students who study in rural areas and private schools usually have longer learning time than students in cities and public schools. Moreover, it is suggested that there is no significant association between school quality and students' learning time. The average learning time of students from the four Chinese cities and provinces is obviously longer than that in OECD countries. Moreover, it is found that the impact of learning time on academic performance across subjects is inverted U-shaped, and the optimal study time can be found in the learning of mathematics, science, and reading related subjects. As for the effect of learning time, the results showed that learning time commitment is more effective for students who are academically disadvantaged. At the same time, this study found that there is a relationship between students' excessive learning time and students' subjective well-being and attitudes toward learning activities. The non-cognitive factors can influence students' academic performance gradually. According to the results of this research, it is suggested that students need to balance their learning time allocation against the appropriate learning time standards. Moreover, schools should adopt different learning time allocation schemes for students at different academic achievement levels. Ticket pricing, which is critical to increasing the revenue for high-speed railways, is typically optimized with a given train stop plan. However, the passenger distributions are restricted by fixed train stop plans, and the optimal ticket price scheme may not be achieved. Therefore, a mixed-integer linear programming model is proposed to optimize collaboratively train stop planning and ticket pricing in this study. The objective is to maximize the total ticket revenue, while the total number of train stops is limited to guarantee service quality. Furthermore, equity concerns of passengers are addressed by ensuring that passengers have equitable travel costs and opportunities to access high-speed railways. Finally, numerical experiments are conducted on a hypothetical railway line and the Zhengzhou-Xi'an high-speed railway corridor to demonstrate the application of the proposed approach. The computational results indicate that the proposed method can increase the total ticket revenue by 27% through adding 14 train stops and formulating a new ticket price scheme compared to the traditional method. The railway container transportation is attracting more and more attention in China. In order to improve the service quality, a novel concept of passenger-like container train is proposed, which can reduce the accumulation time of containers at the origin station and increase the train frequency compared with the traditional container through train. With the aim of generating optimal operation strategies for passenger-like container trains, this paper establishes an optimization model for the train stop plan problem, in which the objective is to minimize the total number of stops. In addition, the specific container-to-train distribution and the utilization rate of each individual train are considered. The proposed model is a mixed-integer linear programming one, which can be solved by using the CPLEX solver. Finally, the numerical experiments are performed to test the effectiveness of our model by using a simple railway line and the China Railway Express corridor as examples. Antibiotics usage in animal production is considered a primary driver of the occurrence, supply and spread of antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) in the environment. Pig farms and fish ponds are important breeding systems in food animal production. In this study, we compared and analyzed broad ARGs profiles, mobile genetic elements (MGEs) and bacterial communities in a representative pig farm and neighboring fish ponds around Poyang Lake, the largest freshwater lake in China. The factors influencing the distribution of ARGs were also explored. The results showed widespread detection of ARGs (from 57 to 110) among 283 targeted ARGs in the collected water samples. The differences in the number and relative abundance of ARGs observed from the pig farm and neighboring fish ponds revealed that ARG contamination was more serious on the pig farm than in the fish ponds and that the water treatment plant on the pig farm was not very effective. Based on the variance partition analysis (VPA), MGEs, bacterial communities and water quality indicators (WIs) codrive the relative abundance of ARGs. Based on network analysis, we found that total phosphorus and Tp614 were the most important WIs and MGEs affecting ARG abundance, respectively. Our findings provide fundamental data on farms in lakeside districts and provide insights into establishing standards for the discharge of aquaculture wastewater.
