Comprehensive Summary: We report herein the first observation of MOF nanozyme enabling dual‐functional photo‐induced charge transfer and biomimetic precipitation for advanced organic photoelectrochemical transistor (OPECT) bioanalysis. Specifically, Fe/Co‐MIL‐88, serving simultaneously as the semiconductor and nanozyme, was explored as a dual‐functional gating module in OPECT. Upon light illumination, it could accelerate the charge transfer of the photogate to produce enhanced photo‐induced voltage. Meanwhile, its catalytic property could efficiently produce biomimetic precipitation to block the nanopores in Fe/Co‐MIL‐88 and thus alter the device characteristics. The generic bioanalytical potential of such a rationale was then demonstrated with an aptasensing assisted by magnetic separation. This work represents the first exploration of biomimetic precipitation from MOF nanozymes for generic OPECT bioanalysis, it is expected to attract more interest in various nanozymes for novel optoelectronic bioanalytics. Winged beans accumulate abundant field heat following harvest, and their shelf life is shortened if precooling is not performed promptly. In the present study, top-suction forced-air precooling (FC) was employed to rapidly remove field heat from pods, and its effects on winged bean pod storage quality and shelf life were assessed. After postharvest FC to remove field heat from winged bean pods, the mean 1/2 precooling time was 5.8 min and 7/8 precooling time was 14.7 min, which was 9.6 times and 11.7 times faster than room cooling (RC), respectively. Moreover, after FC was applied to remove field heat, the weight loss rate at 7/8 precooling time was 0.92%, significantly lower than that after RC was applied (1.98%). FC could delay decay, and the decay rate was only 18% on day 14 storage, which was lower than 52% of RC. During 12 °C and 85% relative humidity (RH) storage, the shelf life of winged bean pods in the FC group was 14.8 days, which was significantly longer than that of the pods in the RC group (10.6 days). In conclusion, FC is an effective precooling method to rapidly remove field heat postharvest and maintain the storage quality of winged beans.

However, the effect of PPIs on positive and negative emotions in depressed participants is not unclear.To systematically investigate the effects of PPIs on positive and negative emotions in depressed individuals.6 databases were searched for randomized controlled trials of PPIs in individuals with depressive disorders or depressive symptoms. Hedges’ g value was computed using a random-effects model to determine effect sizes.14 trials from 13 studies were included. Our meta-analysis showed that PPIs had significant but small effects on improving positive affect (g = 0.33, p = .02), life satisfaction (g = 0.26, p = .03), happiness (g = 0.62, p = .03) and depression (g = −0.32, p = .001), and negligible effects on improving well-being (g = 0.13, p = .24) and negative affect (g = −0.15, p = .31). Subgroup analyses of depression showed that PPIs have experienced benefits in improving depression in most subgroups. In addition, none of the subgroup analyses performed for outcomes other than depression found PPIs to be more effective than controls.PPIs can improve positive affect, life satisfaction, happiness and depression in depressed individuals, but further studies are needed to validate their effects on well-being, and negative affect. A study published in the journal Military Medical Research explores the role of mitochondrial complex I (CI) in sustaining chronic neuroinflammation, specifically in multiple sclerosis (MS). The study suggests that CI activity, through a mechanism called reverse electron transport (RET), generates reactive oxygen species (ROS) in microglia, leading to the perpetuation of inflammation in the central nervous system (CNS). The continuous activation of microglia caused by CI contributes to the accumulation of myeloid cells at lesion sites, further exacerbating CNS pathology. Inhibiting CI activity shows promise as a therapeutic approach for neuroinflammatory diseases. However, further research is needed to fully understand the regulatory mechanisms and signaling pathways involved. Electrocatalytic oxygen reduction to hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is one of the most promising methods to replace the conventional anthraquinone route for the green and facile synthesis of H2O2. Owing to the outstanding electrochemical active surface area and fast charge transfer capability of carbon nanomaterials or nanostructures with different dimensions, such as 1D, 2D, and 3D, various strategies including nanostructure engineering, defect engineering, and interface engineering have been proposed to promote the catalytic activity of carbon‐based catalysts toward two‐electron (2e−) oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) for H2O2 generation over the past decade. In this review, the latest progress, major achievements, and prospects of the transition metal‐supported carbon with different dimensions for highly efficient electrochemical H2O2 preparation via the 2e− ORR process are summarized. The rational design principles and synthetic strategies of transition metal‐supported carbon are systematically introduced while the representative advances, the identification of active sites, and their possible catalytic mechanisms toward the H2O2 production are discussed. Finally, according to the current development stage and existing shortcomings of 2e– ORR catalysts for H2O2 production, the challenges and prospects of transition metal‐supported carbon with different dimensions are also summarized.
