In order to find out the change rule of SPAD value in lettuce leaves and the rapid, non-destructive and more accurate detection method of chlorophyll content in lettuce leaves under intercropping mode, the effect of intercropping on SPAD value in lettuce leaves was studied and the correlation model between chlorophyll content and SPAD value was established. The results show that the SPAD value of lettuce leaves increases at first and then decreases slowly with the development of the days of aerosol culture, and intercropping has obvious advantage in the middle and late stages of aerosol culture. At the same time, the results show that the regression equations of chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b and total chlorophyll content with SPAD value are best fitted by power equation, exponential equation and power equation respectively, and the coefficients of determination are 0.8302,0.6719 and 0.8503 respectively. The models are verified. It is found that the predicted value and the measured value of chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b and total chlorophyll content have a good correlation, and there is no significant difference, which shows that the regression models have a good prediction effect on chlorophyll content. The results provide a theoretical basis for the effect of intercropping on SPAD value of lettuce leaves and provide a reference method for rapid, nondestructive and more accurate detection of chlorophyll content in lettuce leaves.

Background: Lysine methyltransferase 2D (KMT2D) mediates mono‐methylation of histone H3 lysine 4 (H3K4me1) in mammals. H3K4me1 mark is involved in establishing an active chromatin structure to promote gene transcription. However, the precise molecular mechanism underlying the KMT2D‐mediated H3K4me1 mark modulates gene expression in triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC) progression is unresolved. Methods and Results: We recognized Y‐box‐binding protein 1 (YBX1) as a "reader" of the H3K4me1 mark, and a point mutation of YBX1 (E121A) disrupted this interaction. We found that KMT2D and YBX1 cooperatively promoted cell growth and metastasis of TNBC cells in vitro and in vivo. The expression levels of KMT2D and YBX1 were both upregulated in tumour tissues and correlated with poor prognosis for breast cancer patients. Combined analyses of ChIP‐seq and RNA‐seq data indicated that YBX1 was co‐localized with KMT2D‐mediated H3K4me1 in the promoter regions of c‐Myc and SENP1, thereby activating their expressions in TNBC cells. Moreover, we demonstrated that YBX1 activated the expressions of c‐Myc and SENP1 in a KMT2D‐dependent manner. Conclusion: Our results suggest that KMT2D‐mediated H3K4me1 recruits YBX1 to facilitate TNBC progression through epigenetic activation of c‐Myc and SENP1. These results together unveil a crucial interplay between histone mark and gene regulation in TNBC progression, thus providing novel insights into targeting the KMT2D‐H3K4me1‐YBX1 axis for TNBC treatment. As one of the four major bay areas in the world, the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) is a highly integrated mega urban agglomeration and its unparalleled urbanization has induced prominent land contradictions between humans and nature, which hinders its sustainability and has become the primary concern in this region. In this paper, we probed the historical characteristics of land use and land cover change (LUCC) in the GBA from 2005 to 2015, and forecasted its future land use pattern for 2030, 2050, and 2070, using a cellular automata–Markov (CA–Markov) model, under three typical tailored scenarios, i.e., urban development (UD), cropland protection (CP), and ecology security (ES), for land use optimization. The major findings are as follows: (1) The encroachments of build-up land on the other land uses under rapid urbanization accounted for the leading forces of LUCCs in the past decade. Accordingly, the urban sprawl was up to 1441.73 km2 (23.47%), with cropland, forest land, and water areas reduced by 570.77 km2 (4.38%), 526.05 km2 (1.76%), and 429.89 km2 (10.88%), respectively. (2) Based on the validated CA–Markov model, significant differences are found in future land use patterns under multiple scenarios, with the discrepancy magnified over time and driven by different orientations. (3) Through comprehensive comparisons and tradeoffs, the ES scenario mode seems optimal for the GBA in the next decades, which optimizes the balance between socio-economic development and ecological protection. These results serve as an early warning for future land problems and can be applied to land use management and policy formulation to promote the sustainable development of the GBA. This paper studies the relationship between customer concentration and company risk‐taking and its underlying application scopes. The results show that customer concentration is positively related to company risk‐taking. Additional analyses discuss the moderating effect of customer concentration on company risk‐taking from the perspectives of managers' characteristics and directors' characteristics. The view of effective contract is supported by all these results. This paper not only theoretically clarifies the underlying theoretical relationship between customer concentration and company risk‐taking but also provides empirical application situations for companies to design incentive contract and adjust risk‐taking level. Objective: To analyze the psychometric performance of Prosocial Tendencies Measure (PTM) for undergraduates in Guangdong province. Methods: Stratified random sampling method was used to select 1109 undergraduates from 10 colleges in Guangdong province.PTM was used to investigate them. Cronbach's α coefficient and split-half reliability were used to analyze the internal consistency of the questionnaire.Convergent validity, discriminant validity and factor analysis were used to evaluate its structural validity. Celling and floor effect were used to analyze its sensitivity. Results: Cronbach's α coefficient of the total questionniar was 0.94 and cronbach's α coefficient of 6 dimensions were 0.82~0.87, which met with the requirements of the group comparison. Spearman - Brown split-half coefficient of the total questionniar was 0.95, and the split half reliability of 6 dimensions were 0.83~0.88. The calibration success rate of convergent validity and discriminant validity of the 6 dimensions were all 100%. One component obtained from 23 items which cumulative variance contribution rate was 82.31%. The total score and scores of 6 dimensions were all positive skew distribution, with floor effect in 6 dimensions. Conclusions: The psychometric properties of PTM for undergraduates in Guangdong was valid and reliable.

There are concerns about the cultural validity of applying developmental screeners developed and normed in Western countries to other sociocultural contexts. Given the scarcity of culturally validated developmental checklists for use among Chinese children, the Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children (HKSPC) has developed the HKSPC Developmental Checklist (HKSPC-DC) for preschool teachers to identify children at risk of developmental delays through daily observation of children's functioning at school. This study explored the psychometric properties of the HKSPC-DC among 1183 preschool children aged 2–6 recruited from 14 nursery schools in Hong Kong. The HKSPC-DC showed excellent internal consistency, good interrater and test–retest reliabilities, and acceptable concurrent validity when correlated with the Taipei City Developmental Checklist for Preschoolers (Taipei II), which is the only screening instrument developed in a Chinese society and validated across 4- to 72-month-olds. The HKSPC-DC also showed good discriminatory power in identifying preschoolers potentially at risk of developmental delays. This screening tool may help facilitate early identification of children with developmental vulnerabilities in Chinese preschool populations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: Prior studies have reported time perception impairment in children and adolescents with ADHD but the results were inconsistent.Method: The current meta-analysis reviews 27 empirical studies published in English after year 2000 that compared time perception competence among children and adolescents with and without ADHD.Results: Results from 1620 participants with ADHD and 1249 healthy controls showed significant timing deficits in ADHD. Children/adolescents with ADHD perceived time less accurately (Hedges' g > 0.40), less precisely (Hedges' g = 0.66) and had higher tendency to overestimate time than their healthy counterparts. Moderator analyses indicated that the discrepancy of time perception between groups was not affected by the type of timing tasks nor the modality of stimuli used in the tasks. Nonetheless, results were moderated by age and gender.Conclusion: These findings may update current understanding of the underlying neuropsychological deficits in ADHD and provide insight for future research in clinical assessments and treatments for ADHD. This study examined the dimensional structure of the Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function, Second Edition (BRIEF2) in a Chinese sample of children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)-related concerns and the correlations of the BRIEF2 with the children's ADHD symptoms and their performance on executive function (EF) tasks. Participants were 339 Chinese children aged 6–15 (M = 9.18 years, SD = 2.33; boys: 78.2%) recruited from 35 schools in Hong Kong. The results from confirmatory factor analyses revealed the best fit for a three-factor nine-scale model compared to a two-factor or single-factor model. Significant correlations were found between the BRIEF2 parent and teacher forms for the Behavioral Regulation Index and Cognitive Regulation Index, but not for the Emotion Regulation Index. Associations between performance on an EF task and the rating of the corresponding subscale on the BRIEF2 purportedly measuring the same EF construct were not consistently observed. Lastly, the BRIEF2 showed good convergent validity with the ratings of ADHD symptoms on the Swanson, Nolan, and Pelham Rating Scale Version IV (SNAP-IV). This study provided plausibly the first evidence on the dimensional structure of the BRIEF2 Parent and Teacher Forms in an Asian sample and confirmed the factorial validity of the Chinese version of the BRIEF2. This study proposes a fault diagnosis method for extracting and classifying the fault features of switchgears in accordance with the monitoring data of three‐phase voltage and current, temperature, humidity, and flashing from the smart breaker and sensors. The fault features are calculated using multivariate multiscale sample entropy (MMSE) for the data mining of multivariate monitoring process. The similarity measure of the composite delay vectors of multivariate time series in MMSE is improved by introducing a cloud model to soften the similar tolerance criterion. The modified MMSE is defined as multivariate multiscale cloud sample entropy (MMCSE). The MMCSE features of switchgear monitoring data can be achieved in different time scales in describing various switchgear faults. Subsequently, a classification method based on fuzzy support vector machine (FSVM) is further adopted to identify different types of switchgear faults using the MMCSE features. In addition, a dropping semi‐normal membership cloud model is applied to modify the uncertainty quantification of the relationship among fault samples in FSVM. Background: The rise in the number of children diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) highlights the need for effective interventions targeting attentional control. Although recent research has demonstrated the potential of neurofeedback training (NFT) for children with ADHD, most studies have been conducted in laboratory settings, raising questions about their real-world applicability. To address this issue, virtual reality (VR) may offer a solution to the ecological validity challenges encountered in NFT. By coupling NFT with VR, individuals can engage in self-regulating brain activity within a simulated, realistic environment. This study aims to investigate the efficacy of near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS)-based NFT combined with VR in alleviating ADHD symptoms among children, addressing the need for interventions with practical relevance and effectiveness., Methods: This study aims to recruit 138 children aged 7-12 diagnosed with ADHD. Following baseline assessment, participants will be randomly assigned to one of three conditions: (1) NIRS-based NFT in a VR classroom setting; (2) conventional computerised cognitive training (active control) or (3) a waitlist control group. On completion of intervention sessions in the two training groups, all groups will undergo an assessment at time 2, with a follow-up assessment scheduled 2 months post-training for all participants. Primary outcomes will include measures of executive function, such as attentional control, response inhibition and working memory, along with changes in oxygenated and deoxygenated haemoglobin levels monitored by functional NIRS. Secondary outcome measures will comprise ratings of children's ADHD symptoms and executive function behaviours in daily life, reported by parents and teachers., Discussion: The three-arm randomised controlled trial will address research gaps regarding the effectiveness of NIRS-based NFT for children with ADHD, particularly when integrated with immersive VR technology. By combining NFT and VR, this study aims to simulate a real-world environment, potentially amplifying intervention effects.
