The aim and main objective of this Bachelors thesis is to get an academic, as well as a practical insight on how to successfully implement the CT SPORTS application in the German market. In the introduction the reader shall get to know the idea and purpose behind CT SPORTS. The main part of the thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is aiming to give the reader first relevant insights into the start-up world, its processes and its analytical tools. The second part will be dealing with a relevant market analysis of the German market and the analysis of relevant competencies of CT SPORTS for a successful implementation of CT SPORTS.

At the present time, the ideas of establishing own business is becoming relatively popular. Thanks to Internet growth, modern types of companies, startups, are gaining greater attention, particularly among young people. Unfortunately, too many startups fail within first years. One of the most ordinary reasons of that lies in the lack of the structural approach for hypotheses' testing. To overcome high risk of the setback, it is recommended to study methodologies of startups' creation, which provide guidelines and clear step-by-step processes' description. Thus, the thesis depicts startups' context and provides a comparison of several approaches of startups' development based on Lean Startup Methodology with studies of S. Blank, E. Ries and especially, D. Novoselcev. Moreover, it describes the process of a real-life business idea development, concerning internships' organizing, based on D. Novoselcev's approach, business modeling and elements of experience management. Finally, due to findings obtained during application of the methodology on the real case and literature review, the initial D. Novoselcev's methodology was amended and described in the last part of the thesis.

The main goal of my Diploma thesis is to describe current position of social enterprises in chosen European regions on the basis of questionnaire survey and statistical data. The respondents who were asked for answers are representatives of organisations providing support services for social enterprises. They are experts in the field and could answer on the basis of their long-time experience. The first, theoretical part of the thesis consists of definition and explanations of basic terms needed for understanding the concept of social economy and social enterprises. In this part traditional approaches, history, development and legal backgrounds are described. The second, practical part describes the main questions of research, describe respondents´ answers and on the basis of it the results are compared and evaluated. At the end of the thesis final summary is written and recommendations are suggested.

The main aim of the diploma thesis is to identify the risks and barriers of the internationalization process of Czech micro-enterprises in agrarian industry. The theoretical part deals with internationalization and globalization, small, medium and micro businesses, motivators, risks and barriers related to foreign market. The second part is devoted to analysis of the current situation of small, medium and micro-entities in the Czech Republic. The factors of motivation, barriers and risks of internationalization of chosen enterprises are described based on results of in-depth interview by author. The data is compared with results from different sectors and surveys. Furthermore, there are proposals which lead to elimination of problematic factors

Innovation is one of the most important factors for business growth. Human capital plays a significant role in the successful process of innovation. This article deals with employee motivation in the innovation process and the main scientific aim of this study is to present results of research that was undertaken in the Czech Republic at the beginning of 2013. Questionnaires were used for the survey and statistical analyses such as Chi square test or Hierarchical cluster analysis were used for data processing. This study also provides a theoretical and practical overview of business innovation in the Czech Republic. Inovace je jedním z nejdůležitějších faktorů pro obchodní růst. Lidský kapitál hraje významnou roli v úspěšném procesu inovace. Tento článek se zabývá motivací zaměstnanců v inovačním procesu a hlavní vědecký cílem této studie je prezentovat výsledky výzkumu, který byl proveden v České republice na počátku roku 2013. Dotazníky byly použity pro průzkum a statistických analýz, například Chi-square test nebo hierarchická shluková analýza byla použita pro zpracování dat. Tato studie také poskytuje teoretický a praktický přehled inovací v podnikání v České republice.

This Bachelors thesis is aiming to create a business plan showing how a mobile application can be developed and put on the market. It is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part gives the reader an insight into the business and startups in particular. It includes definitions, businessman view on a business, rules, legislation, structure of a business plan and different business analysis tools. Then the practical part is the about putting the theoretical part into the practice. In our case it will be applied on QuickJOBS mobile application. Doing so should help the project to be ready for the future obstacles and find a plan to proper overcome them.

The objective of this paper is to emphasize issues connected with micro-business financial success and adoption of information and communication technology (ICT) as possible factors to determine further organisational growth. This understanding is based on the results of an investigation conducted in Slovenia between May and December 2009 in 134 Slovene micro-enterprises. Data for the main study were collected via structured interviews with owners or top managers of micro enterprises. We used some demographic questions about the business annual turnover, computerisation, owner’s characteristics and some questions about the financial investments in ICT. To visualize and define factors we proposed a research model of annual turnover dependency in micro enterprise. The research focused on characteristics of owners of the enterprise, investments in ICT and characteristics of enterprises’ usage of available ICT in correlation to business annual turnover. The results indicate that adoption, the number and type of hardware and software are positively associated with the micro- enterprise success. An important factor is also formal education of the manager and/or owner and his or her computer and ICT knowledge and skills. We also found out that use of internet, eBusiness and number of used business software contribute to enterprise’s success. We can confirm that micro-enterprise informatisation can be the basis for a healthy economy growth if adequate knowledge and skills are present. To increase growth in micro-businesses we can use this and additional factors (intentions to growth, size, annual turnover, industry type,...) as filters to separate potential growing micro-enterprises from others that represent more than 94% of all enterprises in country. When we defined target group we can start to encourage growth with knowing methods from best practices all over the world. Based on our survey and on the review of literature, recommendations have been given how to be more effective and efficient in encouraging the growth of micro-enterprises.

Social entrepreneurship, loosely defined as delivering social value in a sustainable way using market-based principles, is especially powerful tool in the Third world. Grass-root entrepreneurial approach of developing and empowering those countries from the bottom up is proving to be the most sustainable and efficient solution. First part of this work outlines historical context of the developing world and provides thorough analysis about challenges and threats it is facing. Furthermore, model defining what countries are the "most suitable" for a social venture is described, together with tools that are used nowadays to support the developing world. Second part puts main emphasis on defining and discussing the concept of social entrepreneurship, especially with respect to social venture design. Conclusions and practical recommendations are heavily based on interviews with successful and inspirational social entrepreneurs active in the Third world, as well as with leading NGOs with offices in the Czech Republic. All in all, the ultimate goal of this work is to create a big-picture overview about the reality the developing world is facing and describe how the most sustainable solutions can be designed.
