Mention est faite dans cette note d'une myiase furonculeuse du mouton, due à Cordylobia anthropophaga Blanchard, 1893 (Diptera, Calliphoridae). Quoiqu'assez fréquente chez le chien et parasitant aussi d'autres espèces animales et l'homme, l'espèce ne semble pas avoir déjà été mentionnée chez le mouton.
